You can take that job and shove it
With so many serious things happening in the world today….I thought this would add a little laughter to your day. This is a video of a baby laughing hysterically at her daddy ripping up a job rejection letter.
Happy Sunday!

thanks for posting this.
This was soo cute, I was laughing, absolutely adorable.
Nothing better than a baby’s belly laugh. I can’t stop laughing when my own kids are laughing so hard that it sounds like they’re either going to puke or start crying. That’s golden!
Adorable! Thanks for sharing.
I’m amazed her daddy GOT a rejection letter. Most companies just cut off all communication once they decide not to hire a candidate. Even if you’ve gone through multiple interviews, even if you were one of the top three candidates, most companies just adopt a “don’t call us, we’ll call you” attitude. If you are not the candidate they select, they won’t contact you, and they won’t return phone calls or emails. I’m not saying ALL companies here, just most. And if all you did was submit a resume to an online posting? Forget about hearing from them unless you are an absolutely perfect candidate. Now I can understand that if all you did was submit a resume online, because in most cases so did a thousand other people. Companies can’t afford to respond to every single person who sent in a resume. But when they go to the trouble to bring you in for interviews, I would expect more. Can you tell from my post that I’ve been conducting a job search?
I’m in your boat right now too, DG. I’ve been unemployed for about 2 years and it’s been tough pickings. I’ve actually looked for jobs (admin assistant)in two different states (VA and CO) and no dice. I’ve even signed up for LinkedIn… the new answer to digital networking. We’ll see how that goes.
For most of the jobs I’m trying for, I’m overqualified and a military spouse (which perturbs people). Having both a BA and a Master’s is a disqualifier in fields like administrative work. I think it should be considered a plus.
Good luck to you. Let’s hope this economy improves soon because right now it’s just scary looking for a job in this country. Ugggghhh.
Maybe that was his tax bill he was tearing up.
America’s Funniest Videos has one of a mom with quadruplets lying around her, Dad with the videocam making faces at them, they all burst into giggles in unison and stop in unison. Hilarious!
Thanks for posting that video…..I needed that!
