Wisconsin Ground Report: Get out the vote for Justice David Prosser

Posted on April 4, 2011 by Bridget // Ground Reports, Midwest

Wisconsin is having elections tomorrow and they really need help re-electing Justice David Prosser (who has been endorsed by Sarah Palin).

This is a message from Hillbuzzer nat…

Just wanted to put out a call for those in and around Wisconsin. We need Justice David Prosser to win reelection tomorrow. His opponent is an unqualified, flaky, uberleft, union puppet. The unions are out in full force.

There’s a get-out-the-vote call center in the Milwaukee area: 311 W. Silver Spring Dr., Glendale WI. Only 1.5 hours from Chicago. There may be one closer to the border too. We need help!!!

I don’t live anywhere near Wisconsin, or I would certainly drive to the call center to volunteer and help get out the vote for Judge Prosser. This is absolutely urgent. Re-electing Judge Prosser–who will continue to uphold the rule of law as set forth in the Wisconsin Constitution, Wisconsin Statutes, U.S. Constitution, etc.–will help ensure that the democratic republic processes created by our country’s founders can remain intact so that Gov. Scott Walker can move forward in doing the job for which he was elected last November, which is to rein in spending to stave off state bankruptcy, and take steps to reinvigorate the state’s economy, spur business and create jobs. If Walker can succeed in his efforts, Wisconsin can serve as a role model for other states. The unions and Obamacrats know that if they lose in Wisconsin, they’re likely to lose in other states. They know Wisconsin is crucial to BO’s and other Obamacrats’ 2012 re-election efforts. This is why they’re going all in, because they’re being pushed and helped by BO and the Obamacrats, the DNC and Organizing for America, MoveOn.org. We must urge everyone to help re-elect Prosser so that Wisconsin doesn’t lose its Supreme Court to unqualified leftists who will simply rubber-stamp whatever union leadership and the Obamacrats want, and completely ignore the rule of law. Already, the rule of law is under attack by unqualified leftist judges at lower court levels (i.e. Judge “So Sue Me” Sumi) who’s blocking publication of Gov. Walker’s budget repair bill. Sumi’s son is/was a union organizer, and Prosser’s opponent (Klobbenburg) is backed by Sumi’s attorney husband. Yet, Sumi did not recuse herself from the budget repair bill matter. If you live anywhere near Wisconsin and can volunteer some time, please do so to help re-elect Judge Prosser. (For anyone interested, I’ve written and blogged about the Wisconsin budget repair bill cjwk.wordpress.com.) Thank you.

website http://www.voterneighbor.com where people can make calls from. You click on the “Get Started” icon, and fill out the necessary information (choose one of the Prosser campaign codes) and your profile is approved. Once that happens you can start making calls.

I live in the Green Bay area. We already got 3 computer calls today and about a half dozen of them over the weekend. I’m expecting the phone to be ringing off the hook tonight.

I’m really worried. The unions across the country, along with moveondotorg is piling mega-thousands into this to get rid of Prosser. They’ve moved this election totally away from “who is best in the court” to “get rid of Walker” and “save worker’s rights”. I’m afraid because they have been knocking on doors for the past several weeks now. It’s taken until just the past couple of days for the right to ‘wake up’ and start moving. I hope with all my heart that it isn’t “too little too late”.

I wish it weren’t so, but Wisconsin has become the focal point of this whole budget battle. If we lose here, the unions will not only “win”, but will be stronger and more powerful than they EVER were before. It will be impossible to break them other than MAYBE (if you don’t mind losing your life in the process along with starting a honest to goodness “civil war”) dissolving the union.

I posted this before, and I’ll post it again now. If you are a praying person please pray- HARD- for Prosser to win tomorrow. If you aren’t a praying person, pray anyway. I think this is the crux of the battle to save America right here… and one of the major battles is here in Wisconsin tuesday. If you love America, pray for Wisconsin tomorrow!!
    Thank you.

Ps- a few times now I answered the door to hear “are you for, or against, Walker’s bill”- when I answered emphatically “FOR”- they always looked really disappointed, said “ok” and turned away to go to the next house. I’m convinced they were “community organizers” paid by the union to go out and convince people their way. My strong stance told them it was useless so they turned away. I haven’t seen one come to the door on the other side… probably afraid to; not counting there are no “big union bucks” to pay them to spend their workdays doing it.

I agree completely! I’m praying as hard as possible for Prosser to prevail.

Did you see the story about the Wisconsin woman who owns a business who was threatened by the (AFSCME-American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees) union because she would not place a union poster in her store window? She apparently told them she was neutral. The local union rep wrote her a letter and told her that to the union “neutral” means “no,” and said she should reconsider because, if not, the union would launch a public boycott of her store! She responded by saying she refuses to be bullied. This was on Fox news last week.

I think that is illegal. She should file a suit against him/them. There has to be a good conservative lawyer out there that would do it.

I’m no attorney, but it seems to me such actions by this national union, as well as its participation in destroying public and private property, threatening/physically accosting legislative members, etc., are in violation of the RICO Act. The unions have crossed state lines to take part in such unlawful activities in a deliberate, premeditated, orchestrated attempt to disrupt/stall/stalemate the democratic processes of specific targeted states, and to intentionally foment conditions of anarchy.

“…the crux of the battle to save America …”

Yep I agree, and have felt a similar conviction for several weeks now.

Are God’s people in your state awake and praying?

PRAY THE SCRIPTURES AS THEY ARE WRITTEN.

Include “IT IS WRITTEN” in your prayers (the enemy hears you when you pray out loud!):

“Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.’” – Matt 28:18

Praying with you in Jesus’ name; Father, in Jesus’ name we ask you for GIANT HOLY WARRIOR ANGELS to do battle in the state of Wisconsin this day, and especially to be at the polls discarding ANY PHONY FAKE VOTES! We ask you to send the Holy Spirit to the polls also, to convict the voters to vote according to Your will. We thank you that “The battle is the LORD’s” and we also thank you for your promise that “The scepter of the wicked shall not rest upon the land allotted to the righeous.” We praise you for deliverence from these foul spirits that have rested upon this state for so long. We repent of our complacency in the past, and ask you for diligence, and that your people here will never weary of well doing, especially in prayer. GLORY to you oh God, and PRAISE be to Christ Jesus!

We thank you for Governor Walker and for his steadfast courage. We thank you that he and his staff are covered and protected by your precious blood.

      LEAN ON HIS PROMISES!

Watch Greta tonight. Dawn Bobo, the lady from Union Grove WI who stood up to the union thug’s intimidation, will be on. I visited her at her dollar store over the weekend. The letter from the union rep, stating her little shop would be publicly boycotted if she didn’t put a pro-union sign in her window, is displayed on her counter. She told me other merchants got the same threatening letter. She had refused the sign, stating she was neutral on the issue. Her story got all the way to Fox News and now Greta. Let’s hope others in WI will be disgusted with union strong arm tactics and vote accordingly tomorrow.

Here’s how you copy the link . . . you go back, place your mouse over the the browser bar at the top where you see the URL displaying to the right of the tiny graphic, select the whole link, then Edit > Copy (or your keyboard shortcut). Then, come back here and in the comments, Edit > Paste.

I went over there and didn’t see any link that you were talking about. Nor did it turn up in a search that I ran over there. Please understand that not everybody is familar with how freerepublic works.

WSJ article re the Wisconsin Supreme Court justice election.

    http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748703712504576242903852328150.html

    excerpt:
…The liberal Greater Wisconsin Committee has spent $1 million, some of which has gone for a controversial ad accusing Mr. Prosser of not prosecuting a pedophile priest when he was a district attorney more than 30 years ago. The ad also says that Mr. Prosser and a bishop sent the priest to another town “to avoid scandal” but that his assaults continued.

“But the ad may backfire. Troy Merryfield, who along with his brother was a victim of the priest, appeared in a TV ad last Friday saying that Mr. Prosser helped law enforcement ultimately bring the priest to justice. “Kloppenberg’s allies want to use our pain for their own gain,” he tells viewers. He said he asked Ms. Kloppenburg to use her influence to try and pull the ad. “Kloppenburg refused,” he says. “That’s just wrong.”

“It’s unfortunate that a race for Supreme Court in Wisconsin isn’t being decided on the qualifications of the two candidates. Instead, it has become part of a proxy war between political adversaries. Hopefully, voters will be able to discern the truth from the propaganda. And kudos to Troy Merryfield for stepping forward to correct some of the more wildly inaccurate claims in the race.”

That video made me laugh! Thank you. If I could even bear to watch/listen to BO, I might react just like the baby in this edited video–alternating between absolutely shocked disbelief and the heights of hilarity!

Also, the two business owners who appeared on Greta tonight saying their business had been “like the Christmas season” since their standing up to the AFSCME union’s bullying was made public makes me optimistic that the real people in Wisconsin know the truth and will turn out to re-elect Justice Prosser tomorrow. My fervent prayers continue to go up.

Sorry, Prosser will be a victim of Gov. Walker’s shenanigans. It’s too important to stop the corrupt tea party agenda in WI. (See the latest Walker story of hiring an incompetent kid whose dad was a major campaign contributor, then giving him a 26 percent raise, to be the environmental regulator, plus making dozens more positions political appointees (i.e. cronyism)). The road to stop the tea party is through the courts, at least for now. If any of you are true, old-school Republicans, sorry–work against the extreme factions in your party and we can talk.

But, I think we have all the advantages going forward. We have the lead. We have perhaps the fairest and most competent election oversight board in the country. And if it goes to court, the chief justice appoints the judge to hear the case–you know the one that Prosser called a bitch.
