Why Aren’t the Occupy Wall Street Kids Angry About the Obamas Getting A $35 Million Beachfront Mansion in Hawaii?

A good question that every Tea Party group and conservative should be asking the Occupy Wall Street crowd at the DNC this week: how do you feel about Barack Obama and his wife Michelle leaving the White House in January and moving to a $35 million estate on the beach in Kailua, Hawaii that Obama’s largest donors and socialite friends are fundraising right now to purchase for him in thanks for whatever favors he’ll be doing them between now and his last day in office?
Isn’t this kind of the thing that Occupy Wall Street is against, or something?
I have not yet gotten my hands on the list of names that Penny Pritzker’s working to raise the cash for the Obama’s post-presidential home, but the financial troubles the Democrats have had with their Charlotte Convention are in large part because all the money that would have normally gone to something like this, or to the Obama re-election campaign, is instead being directed to the “Prevent the Obamas’ Homelessness in 2013 Fund” or to the Obama Presidential Library (being built in Honolulu) capital campaign; these two are more or less the same project at this point, because the funds for the new Obama Hawaiian estate are needed immediately while the Library can wait a few years for construction. No doubt Pritzker is channeling any donations she collects into a trust that can be used for either the mansion’s purchase or the Presidential Library when it gets under way later in 2013.
Seems kind of hypocritical for the OWS kids to scream about Mitt Romney living in a mansion (costing a fraction of the $35 million being spent on the Obama’s future estate) that he bought with money he actually earned…when the Obamas will soon be living in an estate that billionaire banker Penny Pritzker (who also inherited most of her money from the Hyatt Hotels family empire) helps buy for them. No home Romney has ever owned was worth $35 million or situated in the most exclusive and elite neighborhood of probably the most expensive place to live in the country.
It’s quite a sham to see the OWS crowd saying a bad word about Republicans at all if they don’t simultaneously scream to the rooftops over the sweetheart deal the Obamas are getting — with quid pro quo being that, before he leaves office, Obama just has to see to it that these wealthy benefactors get just about anything they want while he’s still sitting behind the Resolute Desk: pardons, pork sent to projects that benefit these people wherever they live, highways built near land they own, promises to not prosecute things that they’ve done that Eric Holder will happily lose the files on, etc.
Essentially, the last days of the Obama presidency are now available in a fire sale for anyone who contributes enough to the purchase of “Michelle’s Dream Home” via Penny Pritzker and the other mega-rich Chicagoans who are behind all this.
Somebody should really call Occupy Wall Street out for not giving Democrats an earful over the Obamas’ post-presidential home and its $35 million price tag.
Any ideas on how we can make that happen?
How can we ensure that the OWS kids hear about the Obamas’ forthcoming luxury estate purchase?
This could make the Charlotte Convention all kinds of interesting to ask the Occupiers their opinion on Democrats’ behavior regarding plans for the Obama post-presidency.

It wasn’t likely (and still isn’t) that Barry is going to lose, so why did the Pritzkers, etc. throw in the towel so early? Mitt is ahead by probably about three points or so and the battlegrounds are close. Barry has had money troubles since May. Also, admitting that they might lose involves rational thought on the part of the Obamas. Barry has such delusions of grandeur that I cannot see such rational thoughts going through his head. More than likely, he’ll be shocked on November 6th.

The short answer is that those polls you are believing are not using the right numbers to show accurate results.
Romney is winning and the corrupt media is feeding the public lies for polls.
The Obama campaign has the correct numbers and his inner circle has abandoned him and are looking toward the future. Pretty soon it will be time to make up with the Clintons and try to move the party back to the Center for 2016 since the lurch to the Left failed.
Obama himself thinks he can’t lose. That’s ALL ego on his part. He thinks he is a living god. The corrupt media wants to believe he is a god or at the very least a magical black person like their professors taught them to hope for in school. November 6th will prove he’s very much mortal.
Unfortunately, there are enough bozos in the country that will stick with Hope! and Change!, so I think that it will remain close. This is a Romney winning by two points election.
Also, purchasing a house is a rational act on the part of Barry and Michelle and suggests that they at least accept the possibility that they may lose. I don’t think that either will ever accept that possibility. So who exactly is behind the house purchase? It certainly isn’t Barry or Michelle. Is Miss Marian the one who is suggesting it?

Hey ! Haven’t you seen the reports that Hawaii is trying(wanting) to succeed from the Union ? Maybe all the ties this POTUS have had to this state, will solve his Prosecution Problems, after He signs another E.O. for this event to happen. I hear OWS is short on food donations. $100 in food + some printed fliers with the photos and facts should do the trick. Oh and whoever delivers the food can’t be a member of the Young Republicans, they don’t smell bad it’s a dead give away.

I do not think that the Occupiers would have a preoblem with this at all. After all they all want everything for free so for Obama to get a “free” house would be just fine to them. As a matter of fact they might just use it to make their point stronger. “Everyone should get free housing.”
I have to wonder about the legality of being given a house by supporters while Obama is still in office. Back when Jimmeh Carter was in office, the Saudi royal family gave him an airplane, but his proxy, Clark Clifford had to accept it on his behalf and then deed it to him once he was out of office. Maybe today’s media doesn’t worry about the appearance of impropriety, but as you have so aptly pointed out, this gift does make one wonder what favors are being exchanged.
The only negative I can see about this property is that it is TOO CLOSE to the US Mainland!!!

Kevin, I have heard that the Obamas do not even own the house in Chicago. It is supposedly owned by a law firm and not the one that the Obamas worked for. Don’t know if any of this is true, but it would leave them free to get out of Dodge and never have to go back to there again, which is probably the best thing for everyone.

They own the Chicago house.
They got a sweetheart deal from a chicago bank (but not Broadway Bank that the Giannoulias crime family owned) and Rezko helped by buying the property next door for them…because the house’s owner would only sell if she could unload both the house and the next door property too and the Obamas could not afford both. Rezko bought that vacant lot through his wife the same day the Obamas bought the house and then the Rezkos just allowed the Obamas to expand the yard into that lot…making it impossible for anyone to ever build a house there, since now the lot is too small to build on.
That’s their house…but they want to sell it now and move to Hawaii.
I don’t care where they go live, just get the hell out of our White House.
About the occupods – there are 3 distinct groups in the Occupy movement (pun intended). I’ve followed this from the beginning and managed to dig for some info before it became so well known that the info became buried.
1. Unions run and finance the entire thing – if you monitor their main websites, it’s all about the next march on some enemy of the unions.
2. A fair size contingent is the “Black Bloc” – the anarchists (which were instrumental in starting the entire thing with the unions.
3. Last and certainly least are the sheeple that lap up the kool-aid and free drugs ….. who knows what they believe, but they do provide the army on the march. It’s important to understand that the entire occupy thing went THUD, although there are some true believers in the Far Left crowd that won’t let it go.
The group you would want to contact is group 3 – they live and die by Tweets … find the hashtags and you can get the message out. Best way is probably with some ‘shocked’ questions about the Hawaii mansion with other ‘shocked’ tweets about Chicago insider knowledge.

His disdain for everything American is on full display for every objective observer to see . I just hope if/when Romney wins it is by enough or we will be back in the nightmare of 2000. Obama won’t give up easily so there had better be no doubts even allowing for the inevitable voting fraud. I also fear there might be trouble from the race baiters stirring things up. I just hope it all goes well with a clear victory, I can’t wait to see Obama’s face and tread the LSM excuses. Also hope that once he is out of the office he has so disgraced, that the true story will come out.
I pray that the true story of Obama — his background, his absentee undergrad degree from Columbia (Wayne Allen Root was a “classmate” of Obama’s, who graduated the same year, yet NEVER MET OBAMA IN COLLEGE. INDEED, ROOT INTERVIEWED 200+ CLASSMATES AND NOT ONE REMEMBERS OBAMA!)– his weird Connecticut SS# (who some think was from a dead man who died in Hawaii and was born in CT) — his financing of his Columbia U. and Harvard U. education (most likely from wealthy Leftists or Muslims) — so much more — will come out before I leave this earth.
Will we then hear any mea culpas from the Lamestream Media? Most likely not. If it doesn’t fit with their narrative, they just bury it as a non-story. Don’t believe me? Check out the Venona Papers — documents from the USSR, that were unlocked and translated in 1995. These prove that the Left’s friends of the 50′s, like the Rosenbergs and Alger Hiss were indeed spies for the Soviet Union. Oh…and that Joe McCarthy was right. Our government was infiltrated by Soviet spies. This buried story just didn’t fit the narrative that McCarthy was wrong, crazy and on a witch hunt.
The same will be true when the truth of Obama is finally revealed. It won’t happen right away — even if he does lose. Example: Did John Kerry ever sign that “Form 180″, that would have released his service records and settle the matter of how he received 3 purple hearts in only 4 months of in-country service? Nope. We know he was lying, and the Swift Boaters were telling the truth. How? Because he NEVER RELEASED HIS SERVICE RECORDS to clear up the story.

You need to deal with the fact that Obama is an American; Obama paid for his education just like most other people (loans and working); there is no “whitey” tape; Obama is not a Muslim, and; Obama is not sending his thugs to take your guns away.

Do not belive a Beachfront property would work for The Obama’s. Hawaii Law states that Hawaii Beaches are for Hawaiian Canoes and all waterfront property up to the High Water Mark must be acessible to the public. This would be a huge security problem making the Property impractical for an at risk family. (unless the property was on the Kaneohe Marine Corps Base or Bellows AFB)
It is my experience that the layed back Residents of Kailua Town will not except the interuptions to their life style by Super Celebrities and the Obama’s will find little need for community organizing in their retirement. Not a good fit…
