Welcome to BizarroWorld, because Ann Coulter's making an awful lot of sense these days
h/t AceofSpades for the clip above
In essence George Soros bought the Democratic party.
The media controls the Democrats, not the other way around.
Obama will either cater to the Left and lose in 2012, or stick it to the Left in his quest for a second term.
Much to our surprise, we’re actually listening to Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh and agreeing with large parts of what they have to say.
Welcome to BizarroWorld!

Bombastic as they are, they’ve built their careers on good instincts and sound analysis.
And are you, dare I say it, becoming conservatives? Mwahaha! We have you!
Just kidding.
Anyway, keep up the great blog. Your energy and enthusiasm is appreciated in these perilous times.
David -
We are Democrats tried and true, but feel right now like we’re strangers in a strange land. It’s like being Polish or Hungarian or Romanian, under Soviet domination these days.
We’re still here. We’re still the moderates we’ve always been, but the Democratic party that we’ve always been a part of is gone, replaced by the Kool-Aid Gang and Obamafied at the urging of Soros.
The Democratic party we believe in will return once Obama’s out of office, but in the meantime, here we are, trying to make the best of things. Behind the new Iron Curtain of Obama.
And, also trying to understand where Republicans are coming from, which is something we were taught to NEVER, EVER do in the past. Nope, we were always told to hate Coulter, Rush, and any Republican we met. We always had better grammar and snark than the Kool-Aid Krazies you see on Huffington or Kos, but admit to being just as irrationally partisan once upon a time.
Now, after all that happened in 2008, we keep reaching out across the aisle, looking for what’s best for the country, and not bumping around in the dark with partisan blinders on.
Especially not if supervillain Soros is issuing them.
Amen Hillbuzz. We are with you. I’ve listened to the Rush and Coulter side of things for a long time, but this election also very much opened my eyes as well. I find myself now a Hillary supporter and a real fan of the Hillbuzz guys.
I once considered myself a leaning democrat. That was until I learned things about Ronald Regan, I never was taught in school. I am not a Repulican so much, as I am a Conservative. Conservatism roots itself in the Constitution. Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. The founders of our great nation, were brillant, people. I am ashamed to say I don’t know all I need know about them. I am learning more about them though.
You don’t need to feel strange, although, coming into enlightenment is an akward feeling, I know. I have never been a Hillary supporter, but I would have voted for her if Dear Leader hadn’t been chosen. I may not agree with her policies, but she doesn’t scare the hell out of me either.
From what I have observed, you liked John McCain because, basically he is a good person. You love Sarah Palin because she is a Conservative, rooted in the Constitution. If you are see her the way Conservatives do, you see how accomplished she is, and what a great person and mother as well. She tells the truth, and doesn’t pretend to be something she is not. She is not a politician, as much as she is an American.
The liberal left doesn’t hate her because she is a Repulican, they hate her because she is a Conservative, rooted in the Constitution.
Katylnnelore.
The reason they hate Palin is because if she ran for President, she would win. Take that from us as lifelong Dems. The only Republicans that prompt irrational, fervent hate from our side are the Republicans who can win big despite our best efforts to stop them.
Reagan.
George W.
Palin.
The first President Bush, Dole, and other Republicans who lose aren’t hated by us. No one hated Huckabee, and he is to the right of Palin, because he is not a credible threat.
Hate is only reserved for those who scare Democrats for a reason — because they win elections.
Now, after all that happened in 2008, we keep reaching out across the aisle, looking for what’s best for the country, and not bumping around in the dark with partisan blinders on.
As fellow patriots, you’ll always have friends among conservatives, even when we disagree.
If you want to understand Conservatism at a high level, I would rather immodestly recommend my Defining a Vision of Conservatism (where I refer to “Democrats,” I ma decidedly not talking about moderates). At it’s most basic level, it’s orienting toward the true, the right, and the good, cherishing it, and fighting like hell to preserve it. That’s something we’re all trying to do and it that sense, we are all “conservatives.”
Anyway, I’ll be following the Hillbuzz Twitter feed. Good luck in restoring sanity to your party. We have a lot of work to do in our own.
I developed some empathy for Coulter a while back. At first I just defended her against some sexist attacks, so called “progressive” blogger boys wishing her all sorts of bodily harm. That kind of hatred is just wrong.
But then I read about her father and how she came to be and I started to form a different picture of Coulter. She does actually hit on a few good points now and then.
A lot of people were upset with her on the View recently, they feel like she attacked single mothers. But her points were valid, Democrats have been creating and exploiting victim status. I’d like to disagree, but I just watched them elect Obama, the poor child of a single mother on foodstamps and a tragic victim of constant racism. The problem is, intentionally or not, that is what we start to reward, that is what we idolize, that becomes our goal. Misery, hardship, and failure. Look at the bailouts, rewarding failing businesss and financial institutions.
Hillbuzz,
We should start another party “The Common Sense Party” or maybe the “Take you head outta your arse and look around once in awhile party”.
I know this sounds kind of petty, but I don’t care; it’s interesting: I have ALWAYS wondered what Michelle Obama thinks about Palin. Like REALLY thinks. Like, let slip outta her mouth. Oh, to be a fly on that wall.
This is not a jab at Laura Bush, but whoever was in charge of keeping her quiet and out of the way did a remarkable job for 8 years, because we can count on one hand the number of memorable things she said. She was completely off the radar, and it looks like that was her choice. We wish she had been a stronger presence and been more visible, because what we saw of her, we always liked. But she was so very seldom seen.
Will they keep Michelle under wraps?
For entertainment’s sake, we doubt it.
Sometime in February, Michelle will say something off the wall, we bet.
But, the media will still be in Inauguration post glow that it will go unnoticed. White House staff will notice though, and Michelle should fade away again. But she will be back. We bet that will be the pattern….something weird and outrageous from her, then a disappearing act, then more from Michelle. Lather, rinse, repeat.
Unlike Laura Bush, Michelle seems to want the attention and spotlight, so it will be interesting to see what happens.
We do know this: there is SOMEONE in the White House who gets his or her hands on every first lady and transforms her. They ALL dress and act differently after a month or two in the White House. Maybe it is the pressure of living in that building that does it. Laura Bush wore some very unflattering things before she moved in to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. So did Hillary Clinton. And then, a new style emerged (several new styles for Clinton, while Bush sort of found a groove she liked and stayed with those cream pantsuits for 8 years the way Nancy Reagan found her red dresses and Barbra Bush her blue dresses and pearls).
Our greatest hope is for Michelle to rise to the occasion and start wearing attractive clothing choices, start celebrating everything that is good about America, encourage children to read and do well in school, find some cause she believes in that promotes some sense of well being, and never, ever again says she is going to fix someone’s broken soul.
Let’s see what happens — but we admit her past behavior makes the bar of expectations for her lower than for any first lady in our lifetime. We just want part of that change Obama promises to be a change in his wife’s bad attitude and oddball fashion choices. No more couch upholstery dresses!

Priceless!
I came to your site because Rush mentioned you during one of his programs. I visit many sites during the day to get an idea of what the left and right, so to speak, are saying about things. This site is refreshing, informative, honest and those that reply are civil, funny and make me take a second look.
Ann and Rush have guts, just like Hillary. It takes a lot to put up with a media and party members who openly stabbed her in the back. I had problems with several of her views but I could see past those things and to what a force and positive example she is for women. I was so happy to hear Sarah praise her accomplishments at the convention. I wish we could have these two women in the White House instead of Obama and Biden!!!
Jackie O was the epitome of style. Sad to say her daughter does not have that quality. We shall see how they dress Michelle and present her “style” through the media. But I am just getting sick of the constant adoration the media, networks and blogs are forcing upon us, so I could care less what Michelle looks like (don’t want to waste my eyesight)but I will be listening…
Thanks for the great site
I also came to your site because Rush mentioned you on the air. I come and check out what you say everyday. I love to hear what’s really going on.
I think America is in trouble. It’s the media that we have to root out. They are telling Americans what to believe. They used to be the “Watch Dogs” now they are the “Cheerleaders” So many people have no idea what is really happening.
Remember Chicken Little Who convinced his friend that the “sky wall falling” Well all his friends ended up eaten by the fox. The media has become Chicken Little.
Chicken Little said the Sky was Falling. Sorry about the typo
Is Anne Coulter suggesting that George, Arianna, and Markos are father, mother, and son? Because she’s right, that would explain the accents, among other things.
Arianna reminds me of the Angela Landsbury mom in the original Manchurian Candidate.
love Ann C, she says what no one else will say, and she is right,
every Hillary Clinton Democrat and real Republican will agree with her.
Obama has a worse past than any other Presidential candidate, Ayres Rezko and Wright, yet the media was no bothered about that, it was bothered about when Sarah Palin brought it up, saying she is spreading fear,
well we should be fearful as Obama can not judge character. the most important skill a President should have.
it’s my dirty little secret too! i drive around CT, in my Volvo, with a Hillary sticker, listening to Rush! canceled NY’er, NYT, Mother Jones subscriptions! I have truly gone thru the looking glass this year!
Hillbuzz,
The three people you mention:
Regan
George W
Palin
Two of them would win because they are Conservatives. George W wants to be remembered for his most Conservative view, protecting America. Huckabee, was not a Conservative, if you took the time to view his policies. Huckabee, is a used car salesman, that used the cross of Jesus to his benefit.
I am not doubting the very left of this country go after who would win. Durring the primaries the press loved and supported John McCain, and they did that exactly because he is not Conservative, and they knew he would not win. Then when he was against The One, they attacked him as though he was a senile old man who couldn’t tell his watch from from his behind.
I guess when as a Conservative, someone attacks the person who defines Conservatism, like Regan, you take it as though they are attaking your principles. I personally believe though, the far left is nothing more than Socialism, and Conservatism is a threat to their power grab.
Anyway, thanks for responding to me. I love your site, and as you can tell visit almost everyday. Thank you for all of your hard work!
Kate
LESS is MORE, is it a red Volvo wagon. Mother Jones, wow, what a long strange trip it must have been for you.
When I listen to Rush I feel like I have to do it covertly. As much as it pains me, I’ve allowed the msm and my environment to dictate what is acceptable. NO MORE!
CHANGE!!!!
This past week, I read an article concerning Henry Kissinger having Obama’s ear! Kissinger believes Obama will start his (Kissinger), vision, which is,
1. a global political system
2. a global financial system
3. a global tax system
I see this as losing our sovereignty. With George Soros and now Kissinger…what do you expect to happen? And how can we stop it?
Why isn’t Soros exposed? I also read he is now using his money to change State governments and trying to get far left officials elected….he needs to be stopped, I wouldn’t doubt he was also involved in our Wall St. mess!
Hillbuzz, I understand your reasoning of why so many Dems hate Sarah Palin, but I just cannot understand this reaction to her, I guess because I don’t think that way…I believe they have ruined her and she won’t be able to come back!
And what a loss for our Country if that happens.
SARAH.will be back..count on it…
hillbuzz,
When Laura Bush was the wife to the then governor of Texas, she was just as hesitant about being in public as she has been the last eight years as the First Lady. What I have read about her is that she is painfully shy. The lack of exposure the last eight years was likely her choice. She was interviewed recently for a local station in the Dallas area, and I will tell you she looked more relaxed and happy than I can remember seeing her in the last eight plus years.
If Sarah Palin makes a run for it in 2012, how badly will the media (mis)treat her this time around? The level of venom and vitriol levelled at her during 2008 as the vice-presidential candidate was frightening enough. I shudder to think at what new and inventive weapons the MSM will employ if she runs for president.
Keep up the good work, gentlemen. Call to task those on BOTH sides that are failing the American people.
If Palin runs against the msm’s golden boy, I can’t even imagine horror she will face. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.
Do you think anyone could organize a national day of protest against the biased media? I would love to see the turnout. If large enough and far-reaching, the press couldn’t ignore.
It’s been a bizzaro world for quite some time now. I’m a lifelong republican that has been visiting a pro-Hillary Clinton website everyday for months. I love it. It’s nice to be able to judge each other by what we do and say, versus what party we’re in. We’re free.
ROFL!!! I loved this post! Truly bi-partisan. See through the attitude and there you have it…common sense.
Hillbuzz,
Again, love you guys. I hope Sarah runs for president, and I hope the MSM tries there hardest to take her down. Because this will only prove them to be exactly what they are, which is (insert any bad word here) Sarah 12′
I would vote for the Common Sense Party!
I have to chuckle at Less is More post. I live in Philly and am an artist. You can imagine the unabashed, unquestioned love for The One all around me. I too am this closet conservative listening to Rush secretly in my studio and blogging away on sites like this to keep my sanity. My biggest concern is there is not a strong political opposition right now. I think the in-coming administration combined with the lacking leadership of Ried and Pelosi, it will be in constant chaos creating hocus pocus around their failures. However, if the Republicans remain without a message and can not offer alternative solutions, they will be viewed as wall paper. I hope they are able to get organized; the mid terms in 2010 will be telling.
Here in Chicago everyone thinks Obama walks on water. They are even crediting him with landing the plane safely in the Hudson River. A friend said, Oh isn’t it wonderful how Obama just smiles and let’s everything roll off his back? He must really be connected to the “man upstairs” to have such grace follow him around. I had to shut my mouth not to throw up the food I was eating. I said nothing. But what I wanted to say was: If Obama had the press and investigators following him around like the Clintons did, and he had to answer anything HONESTLY about his past, ties to Rezko, Blagojevich, Ayers, how he bought and paid for this election, kicked Hillary Clinton in the teeth and stole the primary from her, if that was HONESTLY reported, then he wouldn’t be all smiles. But he has figured out that he has seemed to get away with it all and everyone wants to saint him. The man is not president yet and already he has compared himself to Lincoln, who is considered our best president. The arrogance of this man is truly astounding.
susan h, I agree but I am hoping that this will be Obama’s political fatal flaw. He has gotten away with everything, including appointing a man to head the IRS who didn’t pay 30k in taxes. He fully expected to get away with it, and he did! At some point I think his hubris will lead him to do something so terrible that he will not be able to get away with it.
I just found this site through a link from GretaWire. David’s comments particularly caught me:
We are Democrats tried and true, but feel right now like we’re strangers in a strange land. It’s like being Polish or Hungarian or Romanian, under Soviet domination these days.
That’s EXACTLY how I feel as a republican!!! Where is the leadership? I think the Reagan conservatives are being stamped out, just like the moderate democrats. What’s the answer? 3rd Party? I sure would have rather had Hillary than BO in office.
Ann Coulter does make some sense, she is extremely well researched, with a twisted sense of humor, you may be catching a streak of conservative flu! Hillbuzz is, by far, my favorite read.
EyesOpen, You said your an artist that is a closet conservative. I’m an artist in Southern California, and a fully out of the closet conservative/libertarian. I have found that as long as I treat people with respect, people are okay with my political affiliation. If they can’t get over my politics, then I don’t bother with them anyway. Come on, out yourself, it’s liberating!
How I would love to be a fly on the wall when the White House staff gathers to discuss the behavior of the obamas. Does the dem party give etiquette lessons to them? If a republican had called the press back after the lights had been turned off at the past presidents luncheon, as obama did, and then started addressing the press as he did, he would have been drawn and quartered.
Something that the Democrats may not have thought of is that since the PUMAs numbers are about 8 million according to exit polls, this is enough to swing elections whichever way for the next several decades. It did not work this time because the Republicans put out someone they did not like.
Just think about it. If Republicans DO come out, and young people don’t come out like they did this year… PUMAs will rule the day. They will decide national elections for years to come.
Rush is going to be the only place to go for information. The msm will run cover for the big O. They wont be able to shut Rush up. It is going to be fun.
HAHAHAHAHA!! “The One” flubbed the oath of office!!
We’re fried. And now we begin making those 48 monthly payments.
I’ve appreciated popping in on you guys from time to time since last summer. I’m impressed how you keep your heads about you, and with good humor yet!
I’m just depressed and feel like our country is seriously on the skids, will little chance to avoid some really awful things. I’m glad today is over with, at least.
44 is playing a role and doesn’t have a clue about how the grownups do government. We are leaderless.
confession: i know she’s abrasive, but i totally have a crush on Ann Coulter
