today the the Republican party gets its first African American as chairman. this is a great day,

the Party of Lincoln and MLK now gets a great new leader who would have once not had freedom and voting rights if the Republican party had not done what it did.

Yes, congratulations to Michael Steele. Now if only all women and Native American men had parity, MLK’s dream really would be realized. Waiting… Let’s get a move on; I’m already 53.

Do you believe this tax cheat Daschle? These politicians don`t have to pay their taxes and we do. That is the class envy. How can someone be the head of the senate for all those years and be ignorant of the tax laws he created. He`s just plain ignorant and not capable of being responsible for health care reform. This should have been Hillary`s. Obama is just a naive DUMB-O.He`s more stupid than Bush ever was. How do you not vet these people? What immaturity! I`m tired of hearing “The dog ate my Homework!”

Steele is a great pick for RNC Chair. Dawson would have meant the end of the Republican Party or close to it. The fact that he is black is a nice “extra.” These tax cheats are amazing and they want to be on Clinton’s cabinet and can feign ignorance. If so, it is clear we need a new kind of tax, FAIRTAX.ORG

1.5 million people without power 5 days after a storm in Kentucky and FEMA is a no show. Where is the outrage from the media? Did they forget about Katrina?

JRD, yes, remember, it is only a national issue when a Republican is in office.

Do you think Obama will mention the voting in IRAQ today, or do you think he will over look it?

So much for Obama’s good judgment in choosing his people. How many is this now who have a smell of felony to them?
Seems to the mainstream are already losing patience with their boy wonder. They are criticizing his hypocrisy, but what about their colossal hypocricy during the entire campaign?
Don’t think for a moment that Daschle was unaware of the laws he was breaking. The motto of the democratic party is to get away with it as long as you can, or until someone notices. How noble!

CNN: From the jail cell of George Obama after his drug bust. George Obama and the President had the same father but are not believed to have a close relationship. Well, I guess that explains why George is living in a hut! George does however, expect to get an appointment in B.O.’s cabinet after he gets busted for tax evasion!

I agree Julianne. Until I see otherwise, I feel women are having to wait their turn, whenever that is. I hope Steele can see that white women (one in particular) have a helluva lot to give their country.

And black women too, I’m sure! I was referring to Obama’s particular disdain for white women shown in his remarks to Hillary, about Sarah and about Nancy Reagan. He is a nasty little piece of work underneath all the “charisma”.

It’s being reported that Obama has given the rabid Samantha Power a senior policy job which will involve travelling with the Secretary of State – in effect, to spy on Hillary.

Smilla: Don’t forget BO’s “typical white” (and now late) grandmother, whom he also chucked under the bus. And when is that funeral, anyway? May she have a great time in heaven, with a little time off now and then to haunt Dear Grandson’s dreams.

Interesting news about Samantha Power. Don’t worry about Hillary. She’ll take care of that disrespectful antifeminist little snot.

    Sharon,
BO sends his bro NADA! Rush was having fun with it a few months ago and stated if BO would send a measly $20, he’s double his income.
Look at the public housing his elderly, illegal, auntie lived in. This guy cares for no one but himself, oh and hopefully his immediate family. Michelle better sleep with one eye open.

Is Samantha Power the one that called HRC a monster?

Sharon, I read somewhere that George lives on $12.00 a month. There is also speculation that George was set up with “a joint” to insure that an arrest would be made and George would be jailed and therefore it would be difficult for someone to pay him to sign a release for a vault copy of B.O.s’ birth cerificate in Hawaii.
