A little something to remind you to consider the source when you read stories about GOP candidates (or potential candidates) in the Lamestream Media. The Washington press corps(e) is 98% Democrat. And they consider themselves baseline normal.

When you catch yourself taking the LSM seriously, watch this video.

So, what’s going on where you are? What do your family and friends think about the economy? Are they better off now than they were before TARP I? TARP II? Etc., etc. etc.

Where do you get your news? Where do your friends, family and neighbors get their news? Do they think it’s “objective?”

Here is a great example of your point from today's front page Washington Post leading the New Hampshire roll-out of Obama's favorite most feared candidate – Jon Huntsman –
    http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/moderate-j…

If you just landed on this planet and read this story you would ask why is this guy not running as a Democrat! Which could be the best tactic to out these sleeper cell candidates – we need our people on the front lines to ask/pepper Huntsman with the questions the LSM and RNC will not address – this is the new media let's get creative!

by the way you will notice in the article:

    (1) they coin the new term "mainstream conservative" for Huntsman
    (2) they allege McCain and Huckabee campaign staff have joined Huntsman's campaign – do we need to say any more?

Jon Huntsman would be lucky to win a raffle. The man is so much of an odor sniffer he is embarrassing, and he does not represent middle of the road people.

Anyone who has those Green credentials is not the right candidate. Hopefully more people will take a good look at those who push Green and then give them the bird.

Yes! to that, Kathleen about 'consider the source'! It is so true yet so many believe that it's on the news so it must be true. Never really doing any research on their own. The media counts on that. I think people are actually getting "sheepled". Not just in regards to listening to the LSM but in every day kinds of things. For example, a local store is offering triple coupons this week. I have never shopped there but after watching that coupon show I thought I would give it a try and see if I could do it. In order to get the deals, you have to get their card. Now, they say that they don't give any info out to third parties. Yet, for some reason – contrary to other stores w/ cards that I have shopped at – they needed to see my ID, get my birthdate, etc. That just isn't gonna happen. As I left, I made my point by pointing out the pile of filled-out card applications w/ personal info right there for everyone to see. They need my business to stay in business. Just like I did with that business, tell the LSM to take a hike by not giving them your business. Interestingly, what is happening across the country with so many liberal news outlets – their business is way down. WP sales are down a whopping 67%. Maybe people aren't so sheepled or are, at least, tired of the BS.

"The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals is already the nation's most liberal, and Senate Democrats want to make it even wackier by voting as early as today to send Berkeley law professor Goodwin Liu to that federal court. If Republicans invoke Mr. Liu's own confirmation standards, they'll block his path.

Before his own nomination to the bench, Professor Liu led the opposition to Supreme Court Justices John Roberts and Samuel Alito. Of the now-Chief Justice, Mr. Liu wrote that regardless of Mr. Roberts's qualifications, "a Supreme Court nominee must be evaluated on more than legal intellect." – from the WSJ

Please call your senators and tell them to vote no, this UC Berkley law prof is the far left of the far left party, he supports reparations, would look to international law…please light up the phones, vote is 2pm today http://michellemalkin.com/2011/05/17/radical-judi…

One of the ways I have chosen to – make the world a better place – is to never watch CNN. Guys, don't even have it on – it gets into your head, even though you say you're not listening to it. It's like brainwashing. Plenty of other sources on-line to get your news from. Some of my friends have never even heard of alternative news sources. People listen to CNN because it's easy. It's on 24/7 and many of us are busy with life and it's seemingly an easy source of info. Also, I don't know about other parts of the country but here in Chicago, it seems you can't go into a restaurant, bar or hole-in-the-wall anymore without a few monster TV's on the wall spewing out the latest garbage from some of the more prominent psychopaths who grace the halls of the world government. Is it like this everywhere else?

BO WH again censors press by barring reporter from event after publication places op ed piece unfavorable to BO. Has "His Ineptness" actually ever read the U.S. Constitution's First Amendment?
Sheesh. Maybe we should all chip in and buy/send him a copy. Or, maybe we should just write our Congress critters and urge them to start impeachment proceedings for, among other crimes, BO's continued flagrant violations of the Constitution. How is this behavior any different in intent than Nixon's "enemies list"?

Fox News story re BO ME speech: “Palestinian State Must Be Based on 1967 Borders” http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/05/19/obamas…

IMO, every American needs to be burning up the phone lines and internet to Congress in staunch support of Israel. I hope Netanyahu has some choice words for BO during his forthcoming U.S. speech before Congress and meeting with BO. Unbelievable that BO unloaded this pile of b.s. on the very day that Netanyahu likely is on his way to the U.S. This POTUS (wannabe world emperor) has absolutely no honor, integrity, loyalty, core values. Nada, none, zilch, zip. Can it get any more un-American than this, to so flagrantly dis one's long-time allies the way BO has done?

Ann Barnhardt (Lindsey Graham takedown fame) has an interesting, if very scary, post up re the speech. http://barnhardt.biz/

This is unbelievable!! Its not that I didn't know he was anti Israeli, but I never thought he would be so bold as to actually come out and admit it!!
There is a bright side!! He is going to lose tons of support and donations from the Jewish community.I hope he just committed political suicide.

In MN the big news is the budget showdown. Our dem gov Dayton wants to raise taxes on the top 2% (predictable little slug, ain’t he?) and the R majority legislature is standing firm. Not getting as much press is the Voter ID bill, which is waiting for Dayton’s signature. I called his office to ask him to sign it, and got a cranky, dismissive aide, so I sent a couple postcards, too. Please join me, MN Hillbuzzers, Dayton needs to know we are serious about this.

Reacting to Obama’s speech, Benjamin Netanyahu rejected a full withdrawal from the West Bank, saying the 1967 lines were “indefensible” and would leave major Jewish settlements outside Israel. Netanyahu rejects any pullout from east Jerusalem.

Netanyahu said he would urge Obama to endorse a 2004 American commitment, made by then President George W. Bush, to Israel. In a letter at the time, Bush said a full withdrawal to the 1967 lines was “unrealistic” and a future peace agreement would have to recognize “new realities on the ground.”

    Col.Allen West today:
    *********************
“Today’s endorsement by President Barack Obama of the creation of a Hamas-led Palestinian state based on the pre-1967 borders, signals the most egregious foreign policy decision his administration has made to date, and could be the beginning of the end as we know it for the Jewish state,” said West, R-Fla., one of the leading Tea Party thinkers in the House Republican freshman class,” West said in a prepared statement.
“From the moment the modern day state of Israel declared statehood in 1948, to the end of the 1967 Six Day War, Jews were forbidden access to their holiest site, the Western Wall in Jerusalem’s Old City, controlled by Jordan’s Arab army.
“The pre-1967 borders endorsed by President Obama would deny millions of the world’s Jews access to their holiest site and force Israel to return the strategically important Golan Heights to Syria, a known state-sponsor of terrorism,” said West, a career military veteran of the war in Iraq.
“Resorting to the pre-1967 borders would mean a full withdrawal by the Israelis from the West Bank and the Jewish neighborhoods of East Jerusalem. Make no mistake, there has always been a Nation of Israel and Jerusalem has been and must always be recognized as its rightful capital.
“In short, the Hamas-run Palestinian state envisioned by President Obama would be devastating to Israel and the world’s 13.3 million Jews. It would be a Pavlovian style reward to a declared Islamic terrorist organization, and an unacceptable policy initiative.
“America should never negotiate with the Palestinian Authority- which has aligned itself with Hamas. Palestine is a region, not a people or a modern state. Based upon Roman Emperor Hadrian’s declaration in 73 AD, the original Palestinian people are the Jewish people.
“It’s time for the American people to stand by our strongest ally, the Jewish State of Israel, and reject this foreign policy blunder of epic proportions.
“While the winds of democracy may blow strong in the Middle East, history has demonstrated that gaps in leadership can lead to despotic regimes. I have questions for President Obama: ‘Who will now lead in Egypt?’ and ‘Why should American taxpayers provide foreign aid to a nation where the next chapter in their history may be the emergence of another radical Islamic state?’
“President Obama has not stood for Israel or the Jewish people and has made it clear where the United States will stand when Palestine attempts to gain recognition of statehood by the United Nations. The President should focus on the real obstacle to security- the Palestinian leadership and its ultimate goal to eliminate Israel and the Jewish people.”
