WI election mini-example of what’s coming in 2012. Democrats don’t win elections; they steal them, and Republicans stand seemingly helpless in the face of the outrageous corruption. “The wolves always eat the sheep.”

    • Paul in ATL says:

And when the Dems don’t win they accuse the Repubs of stealing the election. And the republicans just take it, don’t fight back and act like general cowards.

Same thing all over the world.

Aoutara stoled the election against Bgagbo

I am not sure that Outtera stole the election.

The UN supervised the election so not sure.

A better example is the way that Ahmanutjob stole the election in Iran. It was outright fraud with a predetermined result.

We are disturbed by the establishment dog and pony show Boehner/Reid/Obama are putting on as they demonstrate how hard they are working to compromise on the CR. Compromise?? Think about it – they are role-playing over the difference between $33 Billon and $60 Billion? WTF??
Boehner is compromising with his friends who did not compromise with him as they steamrolled midnight-hour TARP and Obamacare votes on you – while you looked dumbfounded but still defended their right and the “sacred” House rules and processes.

Talk about rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic Johnny!
We are not fooled Johnny – once you lied about passing the token $100 Billion in cuts – you lost!

Where are your late-night talks and discussions with the nation-wide Tea party groups who allowed you to ascend to the throne and wear your Miss America sash/tiara?

Oh that’s right you join the your cousins in the LSM and DNC to bash the whole Tea Party movement.

    just given in (formally) Boehner – 33 or 60 Billion – tomato/tomatoe – or

withdraw your paltry CR ….man-up and shut-her-down

The Vodkapundit has pointed something out. This had honestly never occurred to me but, now that the mentions it, it is truly terrifying.

Have you noticed that inflation is happening? Of course.

Have you noticed that no one seems to be talking about it, at least not to the same extent as in the 1970s? There is a truly terrifying reason for that:

“Today, however, there might be a new kind of madness, and not just in Washington. As I said above, consumers hate inflation and vote accordingly.

“But today, almost one in four home mortgages is underwater. That is, people owe more on their home than it is worth. But a nice round of 10-15% inflation for a couple of years would put them back above water.

“That’s 11 million American households with a vested interest in inflating away their biggest debt. How many voters is that? 20 million? More? It’s a better-than-even to trade a weaker paycheck for oodles of home equity.

“Your savings might be destroyed, but that’s not their problem. Furthermore, Washington is sitting on $14 trillion in debt.

“Some good, hard inflation could knock off six or eight trillion dollars worth of it in real terms. Tempting, eh?”

      Lisette,

Great points! I have heard that inflation is one of the options, but look at the costs. There is no such a thing as a free lunch. This administration would welcome inflation to take care of its problems. Just as they really don’t give a crap about the high gas prices. Remember, we pay a tax on the gasoline and it is based on a percentage. So, why would you, as the government have ANY incentive to reduce the cost of fuel when you’re generating huge revenue from it?? I’ve always said this: government is the only place where conflict of interest never applies to them. For the rest of us, it is verboten!

    • cate007 says:
      2011/04/07 at 9:45 am

Inflation benefits all debtors, including the government. Debts are paid back with cheaper currency. It’s a way to default without all the nasty publicity of actually defaulting.

So far, the only people I’m aware of seeking a Repub nomination are George Allen, Jr. and Jamie Radtke… I’m hoping to see more challengers but if it comes down to those two I’m leaning towards Allen… right now anyway.

We we drive is our business. I traded in my 6cy small SUV years ago when it came down to economics at over 100K miles I was facing some expensive repair costs, gas prices were rising so I opted for a small 4cy SUV which still fit my family needs and had better fuel mileage…I didn’t need anyone to tell me what to do.

My spouse owns a small business and has to drive a commercial van, there is no Chevy volt to fit the needs of many small businesses…gas prices are hurting the nation, people of all income levels and family sizes…we don’t need a stand up comic or professor to lecture us.

We need to tap our own resources. Let POTUS get by 100% on solar and wind power…then he can lecture us on what to drive.

Researchers in the UK have concluded that wind energy generation is only about 21% efficient. From a capital standpoint, why would anyone go with wind generation? I could invest my money in better things for energy… But then again, it’s a “feel good” type activity and let your economics be damned!

Jennifer Rubin slaps down the meeja for ignoring the obvious in Egypt, back when it might have done some good:

    “Or in other words:

“– Yes, it was obvious back in January that this was a small group that would inevitably be eclipsed, but the mass media and the Obama administration said they would run the country and transform it into a liberal, modern democracy.

“– Yes, it was obvious back in January that the Brotherhood was well-organized, strong, determined, and possessing a compelling ideology.

“Will someone please compile a list of U.S. government, media, and “expert” statements saying the exact opposite?

“– Ha! Notice how the last sentence tries to blame Mubarak for this outcome? What they should be saying is:

“We were wrong when we said that it was a lie perpetrated by dictatorships that the only choice was them or the radicals. You are welcome to dig up quotes on that point.”

It’s been my experience that whatever the left is accusing the right of doing, they are doing it themselves in spades. The accusations are designed to avert attention to their own actions and strategies. Unfortunately the LSM plays along, so most of the sheeple who get their news and information from the LSM believe the accusation sound bites and never look at the man behind the curtain.

I am proud of the Republicans. Americans understand the simple concept of a budget. If you live beyond your means then you need to learn how to budget your money better. Period. We are not a country of bums. This country was created by people who wanted a better life and if they worked hard enough they could get it. There are those who unfortunately do not …but I would rather die knowing I was free and the dream was still there than to wake up each day without any dreams at all.

    Obama friend arrested in Hawaii

(CNN) – A friend of President Barack Obama was arrested Monday for allegedly soliciting sex from an undercover officer posing as a prostitute, according to CNN affiliate Hawaii News Now.

Robert Richard Titcomb, 49, was arrested with three other men Monday night and released later that evening after posting $500 bail. He is scheduled to appear at the Honolulu District Court May 2.

The Honolulu Department of Public Safety confirmed Titcomb’s arrest to CNN Wednesday. The Honolulu Police Department confirmed an arrest with matching information but would not disclose the name of the individual.

According to Hawaii News Now, Titcomb and the president have been close friends since high school. The two are frequently seen golfing and dining together when the Obama family visits Hawaii.

Most recently the Obama family spent time with the Titcombs on a trip to Hawaii in late December 2010 and early January 2011. White House pool reports at the time noted Titcomb by name on multiple dates during the trip. According to CNN records, President Obama golfed with Titcomb on December 23, December 26, December 28 and January 2. The first family was joined by the Titcomb family on Christmas Day and spent most of December 30 at the Titcomb residence eating, playing volleyball and enjoying time on the beach. The first couple also had dinner with the Titcomb on December 29.

Here’s part of a comment on Trump and the Obama birth certificate that someone posted at Hot Air. Notice the last two paragraphs about Rham Emanuel and the Clintons. I didn’t know Emanuel was connected to Trump. If Emanuel is behind this, ‘Flyfisher’ could be on to something big.

“Men like that don’t get where they are by accident. They are cunning and calculating. And they have a special brand of narcissism. They typically value their names as much as anything. Appearance is everything in their world. They are risk takers by nature, but they control risk. You can always make more money, but it is hard to get your name back. That’s why you don’t open Al Capone’s vault on live television.

“I have the sense that what we are watching isn’t what we think it is. Not exactly. This started with a question on ‘The View.’ At that time he expressed a bit of skepticism. He put himself in the position to take some heat, but he didn’t position himself as an out and out crazy birther. Since then he has slowly ratcheted up the pressure on Obama to the point where if he finds nothing, he’s going to look nuts to the people in his circles. Despite his travails, he has proven himself in business. Some deals make money, others lose big. The key is to always lose other people’s money, which is what he does. That’s how it is, particularly in real estate. The Donald has proven he’s resilient and knows how to make deals. And he doesn’t care what people think of his crazy love life. He just shows up with another buxom young woman to show he’s still “winning.” But trust me on this, a man like Trump can’t stand to be thought a fool. His ego can’t take that.

“So, this is mere speculation, but if his investigators have found something, I bet they found it before he ever opened his mouth. The release of his two birth documents was part of a methodical plan. That much is obvious. He knows how media works and he’s using them. I don’t think he would advertise that his investigators are on the ground in Hawaii and they can’t believe what they are finding. He wouldn’t announce that he even had investigators on it, not if he wanted them to find anything.

“Now, others have reported that Rahm Emanuel’s brother is Trump’s agent. It’s hard to believe that’s a coincidence. Rahm Emanuel knows where the bodies are buried. And there has been speculation that there was much tension between Emanuel and the Obamas. And Rahm Emanuel is one vindictive S.O.B.

“So, perhaps (this is all a theory) Rahmbo is involved in this. If Rahm is indeed involved you have to wonder if Trump is really doing this to position himself for a presidential run or if he is doing someone else’s dirty work. Is he doing this to try to get rid of Obama both for the good of the country and on behalf of the Clintons? Heck, it’s possible the Clintons are the ones who have provided Trump information on Obama. Hillary has a way of locating secret files. I think it’s likely that if Obama were forced out, the Democrats would almost nominate Hillary by acclamation. And she knows she would have a good shot against any of the current GOP candidates, particularly the establishment guys like Romney.”

Trump as Hillary’s surrogates makes the most sense.
The Clinton’s always get even eventually.

Get you popcorn out – even if Hillary emerges as the 2012 candidate it will be worth it to clear out the current occupants. Either Hillary emerges as the candidate and wins against any cocktail party candidate (except Sarah and West of course) or she returns the favor to Sarah and weakens him so Sarah and West cruise to victory!

btw…what’s the deal on this new found friend of Barky’s from Hawaii – we thought he had not friends or past???
We look forward to the Enquirer getting to the bottom of this!

I made this connection too. I heard Trump say on Rush that Rahm’s brother is his agent. He was explaining why he donated to Rahm’s Chicaco mayoral race. Also, the White House Insider has been saying that Rahm is working against Obama and Jarrett. I hope it’s true. I hope Rahm is supplying Trump with valuable information. I’m sure the Clinton’s are in there somewhere too.

    Hey Hillbuzz!

Here’s the Marie Antoinette moment you guys predicted a few months back:

MORE ON Obama’s scoffing at high gas prices’ impact on Americans. “Obama fills the role of clueless aristocrat by telling a man who explains that he can’t afford to fill his gas tank at current prices that he should instead buy a new car. If the press reported it, the retort would prove rather embarrassing — which may be why the Associated Press scrubbed it from their coverage of the event. . . . Just think how Marie Antoinette would have fared with a media so devoted to spinning for her.” I saved a screenshot for the record. There’s also a link to video.

Today’s OOTD serves double duty. First, Barack Obama once again demonstrates that he has no idea what gas mileage people actually get from their vehicles, apparently having last owned a car and bought gas in 1978, and has a curious idea about what the middle class can afford these days. While speaking to a crowd in Pennsylvania, Obama scoffed at the notion of high gas prices and told the peasants voters that if gas prices were too high, then maybe they should eat cake instead buy new cars instead..

The peanut farmer has stepped into it again. Instead of calling out islam specifically about abuses of women, he lumps Christianity in with islam as “religions” that abuse women. I would like him to cite reports of genital mutilation, honor killing, forced marriages, polygamy, and “modesty police” in the name of Christianity!

My dog was covered with ticks
So I took him to the vet
    Instead of dipping him
    The vet gave him blood
My dog is still being given blood
    He’s barely alive
    The ticks all all fatter

Think of my dog as the national economy
and the ticks as Wall Street and the
international bankers with their bogus derivatives
The vet supplying the blood is the Fed
Until my dog gets dipped and tick free
    he will not recover
The same with the national economy
Until the speculative banks and commercial banks are (re)seperated, there will be
    no recovery.
I don’t care how much you cut spending
That is simply the way it is

      $30 Billion versus $61 Billion – what’s the difference
when Cantor was present for years at the scene of the crime as the debt has risen to $14 Trillion – where was his speech to work weekends before today??

JUST LIKE MANAGEMENT BY CRISIS IS BAD MANAGEMENT… LEADERSHIP BY CRISIS IS BAD LEADERSHIP

CANTOR – AS PROVEN BY YOUR INEPT HOUSE VACATION CALENDAR – YOU ARE A BAD MANAGER – AND BY YOUR HISSY FITS THE NIGHT BEFORE AN ALLEGED SHUTDOWN – AND BY YOUR BS MAKING THE UNTHINKABLE HAPPEN – MEANING MAKING OBAMA LOOK LIKE A LEADER – YOU ARE NO LEADER!

not impressed Eric “Gucci Loafers” Cantor – this is an infomercial for his website – Cantor announce he will be working this weekend – we say “FINALLY” = Mr Cantor – YOU scheduled non-stop vacations this year to include your recent 2 week vacation knowing you had this unfinished business!

Now when you have given Obama the upper hand – now you pretend to be tough – sorry pal!

You and Boehner have continuously reversed the momentum since we handed you the House in November – as if on purpose, due to incompetence – or both!!

don’t blow smoke up our !@#$%^

and as Sarah says – “Don’t pee on my leg and tell me it’s raining!”

    Shut Her Down

    • sybilll says:

I get the skepticism. But, when Cantor unveiled the House schedule, he scaled back the number of weeks in an effort to reduce expenses. No per diems, no hotels, etc., etc. I think he meant well, but, the perception was quite different.

      • In DC Troll aka DC Tool says:
        2011/04/08 at 5:43 pm

if he is that out of touch after the last year and a half of the tea party movement spoon-feeding him the message Cantor will never get it! or is it on purpose?

      • In DC Troll aka DC Tool says:
        2011/04/08 at 6:20 pm

Friendly reminder: Hardcore liberal ideologues are not our friends.

Make sure to read the whole thing. It’s stomach-turning, but even with that said it’s also imperative we stay on top of the far left’s various agendas so we can make sure we’re prepared to counter them every step of the way, every day. These radicals rely on the American people to be “too busy” to pay attention to what they’re up to. While it’s my belief that no one in reality is “too busy” to stay connected with what’s happening in the world, especially here on the home front, the sad reality is that all too many don’t keep up with what’s going on when the left thinks no one is watching. And that’s where we conservative political junkies come in. The future of our country, as they say, depends on it.
