Official statement from Governor Palin on the Miss California controversy:

    May 13, 2009

The liberal onslaught of malicious attacks against Carrie Prejean for expressing her opinion is despicable.

Carrie and I spoke soon after the attacks started; I can relate as a liberal target myself. What I find so remarkable is that these politically-motivated attacks fail to show that what Carrie and I believe is also what President Obama and Secretary Clinton believe – marriage is between a man and a woman.

I applaud Donald Trump for standing with Carrie during this time. And I respect Carrie for standing strong and staying true to herself, and for not letting those who disagree with her deny her protection under the nation’s First Amendment Rights.

Our Constitution protects us all – not just those who agree with the far left.

    Governor Sarah Palin

Just passing along to the ‘buzzers!

Why is anything this woman says publicized? She is the spouse of a has-been rock start, both of whom used drugs prolifically. Why would ANY news agency quote such an unreliable, uninformed, and unimportant source.

“Some gay and lesbian voters don’t feel like Hillary Clinton has done enough to support gay and lesbian rights, while others believe she is the best candidate for gay and lesbian issues. Clinton opposes gay marriage but supports civil unions between members of the same sex. During her husband’s administration, she supported the Defense of Marriage Act, a law preventing the federal recognition of same-sex marriage.
“Marriage has got historic, religious and moral content that goes back to the beginning of time, and I think a marriage is as a marriage always has been, between a man and a woman.” – Hillary Clinton, opposing same-sex marriages, quoted in The New York Daily News. ”

Ewww. A freaking pederast as a prophet. That’s even worse than Catholic priest-pederasts. At least they don’t tout themselves as infallible (despicable people though they are nonetheless).

And haven’t you seen tons of YouTube vids in which parents are teaching their kids hatred (of the infidel (you and me), weapons handling (and not for duck hunting), and other such vile things?

And what about Shari’a law, which Muslims want to institute in the states? How’d you like the Shari’a murder by a father of his two daughters in Texas? And the murder in Georgia?

Radical Islam IS evil. Just beyond hope and the reason there’s no peace in the world.

          *sigh*

More disgusting comments. You speak about events that occurred 1400 years ago like they just happened yesterday in your New York. Muhammad’s first wife was OLDER than he was and was in many ways a feminist. She ran her own business and hired workers.

There is some historical dispute over his other wives, some claiming the girl was actually around 15, which was perfectly normal.

This is a stupid game you’re playing. I can point to many statement in the Old Testament that allows the selling of your daughter into slavery, that you can kill your son if he has causing trouble in the village, and that you can have any number of wives you want.

But unlike you, I look at things in context. Why should I judge ancient texts by TODAY’S standards. I’m sure a lot of stuff that was written in the Bible or Quran made perfect sense over thousand years ago and were necessary for the small group of followers of the religion to survive.

It’s true that many radicals still take things literally, but a lot of it is based on pre-Islam tribal rituals.

I got berated by people who said if I supported McCain and Bush I was supporting torture and was that I was hypocritical cause I am against Obama speaking at Notre Dame but never spoke up when Bush was honored. Now their man has the exact position as Darth Cheney. I just don’t know how they believed Obama would be any different.

“What a lying, hypocritical piece of trash we have for president”

SOG, Don’t forget immature, pantywaist. :)

To keep “his sheep” happy he has to close down Guantanamo and “appear” to be trashing and altering the practices (which he so harshly criticized) of Bush concerning the detainees AND , at the same time , keep us safe. The problem is, he now has “100 detainees who cannot be released or trusted in courts or military commission trials”.

Instead of admitting he is wrong, he is willing to jeapordize our safety. He should leave them in Guantanamo; but he “can’t”. So, where else is he going to put them? No other country wants them. I’m not sure the “sheep” will cry out; that would be too embaaaaarrassing for their messiah.

0bama won’t touch the credit card industry. I don’t think this’ll pass–not with the credit card industry’s Number One man as VP.

They’ll blame it on Republicans, sure. But, the game is to make the bill stinky enough to give a few Dems cover to vote against it and really kill it.

If, and that’s a big if, it passes–0 will make sure that the enforcement will never, ever happen.

Again, the credit card industry is in deep with the Democratic Party and the Democratic Party owes them big-time. (How else could they have laundered all those illegal donations to 0?)

I couldn’t agree with you more Buffy! I own a business and commercial property. It irks me that liberals are always bashing businesses. They help keep utility costs and property taxes lower for homes, when taxes and utilities are increased they are raised 300% more for business, keeping thoses costs lower for you and I. How much are we going to be taxed and what is the cost going to be if business gets fed up and decide to close down or leave the country?

she had a presser and she was falling all over herself, accusing everyone of wrong doing, but not herself, and she topped it off by accusing Bush (of course, right?), Cheney, and the CIA of lying repeatedly to her and the Congress. you must see the vid.

“A strong conservative candidate has emerged to challenge Harry Reid – and this person is 4-time State Assemblywoman Sharron Angle, a solid conservative who has earned support from Nevada conservatives, and even dogged respect from her opponents, for sticking to her principles and being a formidable campaigner who always shocks the “experts” by racking up more votes than any of them ever expected.”
Just thought I would pass this along.

And the ride and handling is exceptional in American vehicles. If I have to drive in a tin box toyota or similiar I’ll die. China buys tons of American cars. It’s their top seller! What’s up? Oh and we need to get rid of Reid who is having barky campaign for him any day now. Help fight back and defeat Harry Reid. Please pass this on.

We’re going to rain on Barack Obama and Harry Reid’s parade. On May 26th, Barack Obama will travel to Las Vegas, Nevada to hold a multi-million dollar fundraiser to help save Democrat Senate Leader, Harry Reid, from defeat in the upcoming congressional elections. We’ve obtained copies of these liberal elitist fundraising invitations and pasted them in below.

And with your help we’re going to throw one giant wrench into the re-election plans of Harry Reid & Barack Obama.

We here at the Our Country Deserves Better Committee have formulated our strategy to respond to the fundraising and propaganda efforts of Reid & Obama. We’re proud to announce that we will launch our “Defeat Harry Reid” television ad campaign in Nevada just as Barack Obama arrives in the state to campaign for Reid.

We’re going to blitz the airwaves of TV stations throughout Nevada with our “Defeat Harry Reid” tv ads, and hold news conferences in Reno (on May 25th) & Las Vegas (on May 26th) unveiling the launch of our campaign.

If we can raise enough money between now and May 26th for our “Defeat Harry Reid” campaign we’ll be able to run our tv ads all day and all night for the week of Obama’s campaign fundraiser with Reid. You can make a contribution to this effort (as small as $5 or as large as the $5,000 maximum contribution allowed by law). To contribute – JUST GO HERE> http://www.ourcountrydeservesbetter.com/issues/defeatharryreid.html
“We’ll keep the heat on Reid and force him to answer for his failed tenure in office, his attacks on our military men and women, and the role he played in forcing through bailouts, trillions of dollars in deficit spending and higher taxes.

Time is short – we’re going to need to start buying placing our first advertising buys this week, and we want to dominate the airwaves during the time that the Reid & Obama campaign events will be covered by the news.

So please, do whatever you can to help by making a contribution to our “Defeat Harry Reid” campaign -”

Here’s a copy of the Obama-Reid fundraising invitation that we’ve obtained a copy of:
Ceasar’s Palace, May 26, 2009 6 pm…meet brack obammy and harry reid backstage. Anyone see the invitation?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ru6KBClFM84

    Please spread the word.

Reid looks like an old Harry Potter. He has that frown on his face because he just remembered where he hid his wand.

Heads up. There’ll be a Tea Party around Labor Day.

Check out the tea party express.
    http://www.teapartyexpress.org/

“It’s time to take our country back! Let’s speak out against the out-of-control tax and spend policies of Congress and the White House. Let’s defeat those running government who would call our veterans and conservatives “right-wing extremists.”

From August 28th to September 12th the “Tea Party Express” bus will tour the country, hosting tea party rallies across America. Find the tea party nearest you and join our efforts to boot out of office some of the worst offenders in government. With your help we’ll clean house in the upcoming congressional elections!”

Maybe a take-off of the movie “Midnight Express” but without the heroin.

But the “expressers” will all be thrown in jail and tortured.

Found this interesting: Trig Troofer-in-chief Andrew “Clinically Insane” Sullivan suddenly turning against his Messiah over his Messiah’s lack of attention to gay rights. Umm…Sully? Hillbuzz could have told you about this long ago, but I guess you don’t have access to computers in your padded cell.

    Here’s Sully:

“I have a sickeningly familiar feeling in my stomach, and the feeling deepens with every interaction with the Obama team on these issues. They want them to go away. They want us to go away.

Here we are, in the summer of 2009, with gay servicemembers still being fired for the fact of their orientation. Here we are, with marriage rights spreading through the country and world and a president who cannot bring himself even to acknowledge these breakthroughs in civil rights, and having no plan in any distant future to do anything about it at a federal level. Here I am, facing a looming deadline to be forced to leave my American husband for good, and relocate abroad because the HIV travel and immigration ban remains in force and I have slowly run out of options (unlike most non-Americans with HIV who have no options at all).”

Listened to KFAB out of Omaha briefly on my way to work this morning.

Topic was BO speaking at Notre Dame. One caller actually said, “I’m so sick of this. So what if he’s pro-abortion? You Catholic Talibans have got to get over this.”

Host called him out and guy brazenly repeated it, and said the pro-life Catholics at ND use Taliban tactics. Guy was an ignoramus to start with, but subsequent caller really fried him.

“To say that pro-life Catholics have anything remotely in common with rabid Muslim Taliban beheaders is ludicrous,” was the comment. “The Catholic church has done more to promote a civilized society than any Muslim group in history. Universities, hospitals. . . that’s where you’ll find Christian groups helping make the world a better place. Unlike radical Muslims who only seek to obliterate all things on this earth.”
