They are really really really scared of Rick Perry.

The "Wise Ones" at MSNBC (minus Al Sharpton)

I know that most of you watched last night’s GOP debate on MSNBC but did you watch their post debate analysis?  Ordinarily, I would switch over to FOX and watch a more sane and rational analysis but I decided to see what the loons thought of Rick Perry and the rest of the field.  It was almost like a comedy show.  The usual suspects were on board….Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O’Donnell ( this man makes my skin crawl) and as an added bonus, Al Sharpton.  They bantered back and forth with the usual left-wing BS nonsense.  They don’t like Newt Gingrich because he is so much smarter than them that they don’t even know how to dismantle what he says (plus he calls them out on media bias).  They had a great time making Ron Paul look like a complete crackpot (and Ron Paul falls for it every time because he’s so passionate about his beliefs…which have merit).  They gave Jon Huntsman a lot of air time…I guess because (as a lot of people think), they want him to be the spoiler for the GOP.  They repeated the same old tired Michelle Bachmann routine…making her appear to be a deranged far-right extremist boogeyman.  They picked around the edges of the other candidates.  They had negative things to say about all of them….except Mitt Romney.  Of course they had a little criticism of Mitt but…if I had been an alien who just landed on Earth….I would think that Mitt was the candidate that MSNBC wanted for president.  It was obvious to everyone that this debate was between Mitt Romney and Rick Perry.  Oh sure…the moderators threw questions out to the other candidates but the focus was squarely on the two front-runners and one thing is very clear….they are terrified of Rick Perry.  To be more specific, they are terrified of a Rick Perry presidency.  This man is Satan to them.  They think that if this man gets elected then the world will come to an end.  Al Sharpton could barely string together two sentences he was so riled up (even worse than normal).  They were praising Mitt Romney so much it was comical.  They were practically tripping over each other to see just how much adoration they could heap on Mitt.  It was one of the most entertaining things I have ever watched.  Why?  Do you think it’s because they have faced the reality that their savior, Obama, will most likely lose in 2012 and they would rather have Romney as president because he is a mushy moderate?  Or do you think they want Mitt because they think Obama stands a better chance of winning if Romney is the GOP candidate?

One thing is for sure…..They do not want Rick Perry on the ticket.

To them, he is the Anti-Christ and they are terrified of Perry winning in 2012.

Sort of like we were when Obama won is 2008…and we were right.

I thought all of the candidates did pretty well last night, and was pleased to see that they didn't let Williams cow them. It shows me that the GOP is learning how to deal with the press.

I happened to see an interview with Brian Williams prior to the debate, talking about the validity of "gotcha" questions and the usual elitist attitude about the GOP candidates. I am thinking others might have seen this, because he was pretty much declawed and ignored.

They are afraid of Perry due to his background. He didn't go to Harvard, you know. Neither did Palin, which is one of the big insults the left has, that she went to "state colleges."

I am beginning to think we have an Ivy League mafia, after watching Ingraham and Coulter (Yale and Cornell) go after Palin earlier.

Thanks for the review of the post-debate coverage, Bridget! I still can't get over MSNBC having Sharpton as an anchor.

You are dead on accurate. I couldn’t leave the channel on Msnbc, they are ridiculous fools who don’t deal in truth. They are always working on shoveling crazy propaganda.

Clearly this was a hatchet job on Rick Perry. So many questions were aimed at him and like Texas's education, cancer vaccine, Social security, border policies the list goes on.

I think it was fair for some hard Rick Perry questions since he has done few interviews and this was his first debate but MSNBC went way across the line. Rick Perry started well then he was very shakey as he is not used to debate. Romney gave a very kind answer on the cancer vaccine saying Rick Perry meant well and this helped Romney as a uniter.

Newt stole the show with the attack on MSNBC, Newt is an amazing debater and boy it was great to watch him but he will not win.

Bachmann didn't give her usual high standard of debate and Hillbuzz is right she should be speaker, she would be a very strong force and she is quite popular for a speaker as speakers usually have very low approvels.

MSNBC is watched by the left and the right, the right love getting their blood boiled up and MSNBC is very funny.

Perry lost the debate and will no longer have a great lead, the Tea Party vote will leave Perry and go to other candidates. Cain needs to run for Senate, what a voice he would be.

    Dear Kevin,

To sure Perry gives them the miseries, the vapories and the twizzles; Sarah Palin ( Ava Gardner with the pipes of Judy Holliday) makes them scamper like silverfish when the lights go on.

These three are best described as the "Three Stooges" of MSM. At any more, I had expected one of them to implode, leaving the other two to be so rattled. Truth of the matter is, I care so very little about what these stooges say that I do not believe I would have recognized them out on the street. I use these clowns as an indicator of who is right for America. They more they yelp and whine, the more attractive that canddiate must be. Yes, Ron Paul is kind of loopy and I too wonder if he's really serious about landing the office or rather just finding ways to get his issue into discussion.

If it weren’t for Ron Paul, no one would be talking about the devaluation of the dollar (it has lost 95% of its value since 1913.)
If it weren’t for Ron Paul, no one would be talking about a return to the Gold Standard.
If it weren’t for Ron Paul, we wouldn’t be having serious discussions about auditing the Federal Reserve.
If it weren’t for Ron Paul, we wouldn’t be talking about the difference between Keynesian economics and Austrian economics.

So, though I hope he wins, and he has my vote, I appreciate the fact that he is willing to do everything he can to get the message out about our economy and how we got into this horrible $14 trillion mess.

Kathleen – You're right. It takes a canddiate to bring these issues up. If he didn't run, we would never know there are other problems. If he wins the nomination, I will vote for him.

I think MSLSD after-debate meat puppets prolly accomplished their goal of convincing the liberals and Democrites who watch them to not vote for Perry. I'm not certain that Madcow, Larry, Tingles and Sharpie convinced their Lib and Dem audience to vote for Mittens.

Well, it's obvious that BSNBC has abandoned all semblance of "objective journalism" with the debate last night and then the post-debate "analysis." Do ya think in all of Washington and New York they could have dug up an actual CONSERVATIVE to participate in the post-debate analysis, or to be a moderator at the debate? I mean, really? Madcow, Tingles, Larry and Sharpton? Really???
