Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, believed in selective parenthood. If you are perfect parents who came from perfect parents….then it’s ok for you to have a baby. I wonder if she would have approved of Obama’s birth….or would she have favored an abortion? Afterall….Obama’s mother was a white lady who became pregant by a black man….both with less than perfect lives. Margaret Sanger was evil.
And then you have irrelevant Hollywood bottomfeeders who blindly follow leftist ideology. Don’t they realize that the founder of Planned Parenthood didn’t care at all about women’s reproductive rights? She wanted to rid the world of potential “bad seeds”.
Here’s Kathleen Turner ( I know…”who is Kathleen Turner“?) barking her opinion about cutting federal funding of Planned Parenthood….

One of Sanger and her cohort's choicest gems: "We do not want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten that idea out if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.” Intentionally hiding behind black ministers and "civil rights"? Yep.
It is so amazing that comments such as these from Sanger have gone out with so little attention from those on the Left. She was a racist and attempted to play God to decide who should live and die and what sin is. And the Left keeps telling me that they are fair and balanced…
Comments such as these do not get the attention from the left, because they don't want to make any statement that would be false. They just say the lie, like it was the truth, and dismiss any "negative" from the right. For the left nothing exists if they don't want it too. Sanger was a hater!

"Informed" leftest know all about the racist Sanger, the crazed murderous Che, and the Soviet loving Ted Kennedy. And you know what, they…don't ….care.
Informed leftest want life controlled on their terms, people culled and controlled to only do what their betters tell them to, and side with any and all enemies of our state that will help. The later springs from a belief the enemy will suddenly become reasonable OR once they got our masses under control they can sweep them away with no problems. An informed leftest is evil.
Then there is the perpetual loser who only wants to take from others out of largess and envy. Learned a long time ago to work the weak mined into feeling sorry for them and demanding they have what others have worked for by using buzz words like "human right" and dignity. They demand both but deserve nether. They would be evil if they were smarter.
A liberal how ever is just a woolly headed thinker who was flattered too much in their youth (usually by a IL) into thinking they are more intelligent and care more then most other "normal slobs". Under that is a deep need to be thought well of with out making too much real effort , usually by repeating emotion based lies over and over with out really thinking about them and the nature of man. Overly emotional, easily manipulated, with deep insecurities and feelings of guilt. They are not really evil, just too wrapped up in their own feelings and feelings of their group.
Mostly useless on their own but when agitated by the IL's they become a chaotic swarm.
Sorry, I read Starship Troopers last night and I am in a mood.
I read some things about Margaret Sanger when I was younger (in my teens, most
likely) and I thought she was doing a "noble" thing for the immigrant women who
were having child after child. I really thought she was trying to do good in life.
It wasn't until I was in my 30's (a ways back…) that I found out more about her.
What an evil, evil human being. I'm doing my part to educate my friends.
What a piece of work. Sanger was truly a vile person. Margaret's egenicists doctor acolytes in that progressive paradise of Minnesota forcibly aborted (she was told she suffered a miscarriage) & secretly sterilized the wife of my mother's cousin when she was hospitalzed for what was diagnosed as nervous disorders in the late 1930s. __ Many doctors of that period had taken up Sanger's eugenics ideology & put them into practice. the lady lived a normal productive life, raised two adopted children but lamented until the day she died at age 90 not having her own children. It was only 50 years later that her adopted son learned she had been aborted & secretly sterilized while hospitalized. __ Big Brother Obliara now tells us we should all love our elite intellectual betters and fund with taxpayer dollars our "betters" at Planned parethood. Not I say! __ Margaret Mead was another sick academic puppy of the same progressive time & mentality and now their ideological descendants are back in power wreaking havoc upon us, our nation, & the world. We must not remain silent.
I had always thought that Margret Sanger was a part of the eugenics crowd and was in favor of killing off the black population by her bright idea of family planning and abortion. What Old One says above supports this. It is interesting how the heroes of the progressive left are almost all closet racists.
When I listen to Kathleen Turner talk, it makes me say .."then write a check baby!" Put your money where your mouth is. If you think it is so darned important, then YOU pay for it. Our country doesn't have the money to fund it any longer. Get your Hollywood friends together and do it, and don't whine to us about it….
Couldn't agree with you more Doris. Of course, I haven't seen Kathleen Turner in anything in years. Maybe she's broke and Planned Parenthood offered her some money to do the ad. I saw Gwyneth Paltrow doing an ad for Planned Parenthood today. I haven't seen her in any movies lately either, although she's a lot younger than Kathleen Turner. They probably both need some free publicity.
I'm always up for a discussion on Sanger. Sanger was a child of 11. Disgruntled from the get go reared by and “exhausted” migrant mother. Her origins were to “free” and “educate” women – and she quickly found allies to step it up a notch with the notion of on demand abortion. Let me state I was Pro-Choice for 15 years. I am now unabashedly pro-Life since 2004, the birth of my daughter. Why the change? I got to see her fetal heartbeat at 8 weeks. I educated myself on what the practice was really being done for, and on whom. To all the big shot Pro-choice women out there. My only advice: read the case files if you dare. If you have the guts. Read what Abby Johnson has to say.
I'm happy I didn't exercise my right to “choose.”
