Take A Look At How Painfully Absurd Barack Obama Propaganda Looks in 2011
The above video was made by an Internet greeting card company called JibJab.com, which also makes funny end-of-the-year wrap-up videos.
I went there today to see if they have their 2011 video up yet (no luck) and instead stumbled upon this bit of propaganda they filmed in the summer of 2009 depicting Barack Obama as some sort of superhero who was sent from the stars to solve all of our problems.
It’s interesting to think about just how many problems Obama actually CREATED by doing all the things promoted in the JibJab video as POSITIVE things. The Trillion Dollar Stimulus was a complete waste that your children and grandchildren will still be paying for; Obamacare is destroying jobs left and right, and it’s not even in full effect yet; Islam has been emboldened to create more terror and strife in the world and respect for the United States on an international level has plummeted.
All thanks to Barack Obama superhero stupidzero.
The only thing on Earth that can give this man a second term is if Republicans nominate Willard “Mittens” Romneycare, since only then will everything in this video be taken off the table and the election will instead be a class war sparked by the Left against the classic caricature of a Wall Street plutocrat (a role in which Romneycare is perfectly cast).

Obama would so destroy Gingrich or Romney. These delusional GOPers think Obama will lose. Unemployment went down as I predicted 2 years ago. The media is already making propaganda about the Black first lady. Michelle Bachmann is the only exciting and historic conservative that can bring down this machine.
Perhpas I'm misuderstanding your post, or just understanding the video differently, but I didn't get the impression that anything was being presented as a POSITIVE. With lines like "He'll disregard the mounting debt!", "Run Industry!", and "Just snap your fingers and fix the USA!" (among others), I thought it was just one huge dig at EVERYTHING he's done, and more accurately, at the people who think he's some kind of super hero. The best part is that it's to the tune of When Johnny Comes Marching Home.
This video shows all the things that Obama’s acolytes SAID were going to be solutions and solve all our problems.
The JibJab people have some snark in there, but REPEATEDLY all through 2009 Obama was depicted as a superhero all over the place. That’s why JibJab has him dressed that way…it was the meme being perpetuated then. Comic shops were FULL of Obama-dressed-as-superman.
You don’t see any of that stuff now. For a reason.
None of the things the Left said would be wonderful that he was doing turned out to be good at all.
JibJab tries to be balanced in their own way. They presented most of these “Obama is superman!” things straight up, the way the Left showed it back then but then also added little zingers here and there so that they could not be accused of being pure Lefties. They are a greeting card company doing these little films to attract attention and don’t want to turn off moderates and conservatives too much.

Now that I've viewed it again the video stands almost as a perfectly biting satire of the President. I know that wasn't the full intention at the time (it was more focused on the hyperbole of Obama as a great hero and savior. [Stop a train! Go to space! Punch a robot in the face!]), but now it makes the president, who is now a petty shell of his former hope-and-changey persona, look as ridiculous and shallow as he always has been.
I ran into the video several years ago. It was considered a satirization then.
