Taiwanese Animation takes on Michelle Antoinette's irresponsible, reckless spending
Can someone who speaks Cantonese (which we think this is) translate the voiceover in this clip? Some of us have had a little Mandarin, and can pick out a few words here and there, and it’s not good at all for Michelle Antoinette.
The hundreds of thousands of dollars she wasted to take 40 of her closest personal friends on a spare-no-expense excursion to Spain, to eat in royal palaces, play all day on the beach, and live high on the hog while tens of millions of Americans are out of work, deciding which day this week they can afford to eat. No such tough decisions for Michelle Antoinette. It’s champagne wishes and caviar dreams every day, baby.
We’ve said many times before that Michelle Antoinette is the sword of Damocles for this administration.
She is going to do something, at some point in time, that crosses a psychological line with the vast majority of Americans. It has not happened YET, but the Spanish trip came precariously close.
No, at some point in the future, before they are out of the White House, Michelle Antoinette is going to say or do something that is a perfect embodiment of the contempt the Obamas have for regular Americans. It’s going to be something she won’t even realize is wrong, but it’s going to go down in history as a “Let them eat cake” total disregard for the suffering of millions…while she parties like it’s 1999 every day she’s in the people’s house.
It’s going to be like that moment at the end of Cruel Intentions, when the Verve Pipe plays, and the spoiled, nasty, hateful little girl who’d hidden behind a carefully manufactured and PR-managed facade was finally exposed for who she really was…and it all just came crashing down around her.
There’s a scene like this in Dangerous Liaisons too, which Cruel Intentions was inspired by. Glenn Close, as the Marquess, goes to the Opera in all her finery and is loudly booed by everyone there. No longer do they call her a “fashion icon”. No longer are they afraid of her, or cater to her in bowed sycophancy. No, they give her the boos she deserves.
And there is never any going back to how things used to be for these would-be “royals”.
Just ask HRH Princess Caroline of Kennedy what it feels like for her to walk around today, after being exposed for the clod that she is during her disastrous 2008 power grab for the Senate, compared to what it was like when she still was oooh-ed and aaah-ed over.
It’s a bittersweet symphony indeed.

I am watching her appearance with Laura Bush in Pennsylvania for the September 11 observance. Mrs. Bush was the keynote speaker, and suddenly the Parks Service put out an announcement that they “were delighted to announce that First Lady Michelle Obama would be joining former First lady mrs. laura Bush” on the platform.
Michelle invited herself, if I am reading between the lines correctly. I think this event has the opportunity for her to cross the line.
Would be interesting to hear how this “collaboration” was initiated.
What incentive would Mrs. Bush have to appear with the FLOTUS when POTUS bashes her husband daily???
Their original announcement had to be edited considerably. It said,
“It is with rising disgust, but without much genuine surprise, that we are forced to make public the First Woman’s success in forcing herself into the foreground of what we had expected to be an occasion of grace with the presence of First Lady Laura Bush. Evita obama made it plain through her thugs and thugettes that if we knew what was good for us, we would make room for her on the program on 9-11 in Pennsylvania.
“Evita obama has promised she will do her best to keep her normal glowering countenance under control. Have y’all notice how uuuuugly she gets when there are gracious and attractive women around? Trust us, folks, we had no choice in this.”

My question in all this is who exactly is paying for these vacations. I’m reading “Spoken From The Heart”, by Laura Bush, and it’s amazing just how much comes from the First Family’s pocket.
If they’re really paying for this all, then they are not of the people, and not the American-Dream-Success-Freedom-From-Slavery Story that they like to portray. I suspect that a lot of it is coming from the people who are going there, in return for time with the FLOTUS.
From what I understand, the family and guests pay for their personal expenses but the entourage (security, aides, etc…) is paid for by the taxpayer. We footed the bill for any expenses incurred the day they visited with the King + Queen of Spain because it was an “official” visit – ugh. The trip to the gulf was not exactly a vacation since BO met with officials there, so I’m not sure how much of it he paid for.
And there are many creative ways to pad the old expense account.
Yes, the WH is expensive. The First Family doesn’t get everything free. Even Jackie Kennedy complained about the cost.
You gotta love these Taiwanese animations. The Al Gore Sex Poodle one was a hoot, and so is this one. I love seeing Alinskyite tactics being used against Jug Ears and Mooch.

you should have seen the one that they produced on the Australian elections. It was a real hoot… complete with Julia-the-Red stabbing KRUDD in the back.
They portrayed the election competition as a wrestling match…and they almost got it right…. but of course Julia-the-Red will do anything to maintain power… including prostituting herself.

This is not Cantonese. It is Mandarin, especially since it was produced in Taiwan. This is very cleverly done and right to the point.
I don’t know a lick of Chinese but even I can tell that video was absolutely brutal.
