Obama’s troubles are beginning to pile up…and the timing couldn’t be more perfect for Republicans coming into the 2012 elections(and I’m not even talking about this miserable economy). 3 very shady newsworthy scandals involving the Obama White House are slowly creeping into the news. Of course, they aren’t in the news as much as they should be but people are beginning to know some of the criminal activity that makes up the day to day schedule of this White House. I thought I would do a brief summary of the 3 “biggies” and do follow up posts when new details are learned.
So…here goes
1. Fast and Furious: Most everyone is familiar with this one. It’s the ATF “sting” operation in which assault weapons were knowingly sold to violent Mexican drug cartel members with the intent of tracking these guns into Mexico to catch higher ups in the cartel world. The problem is that most of these assault weapons have disappeared into the underworld of Mexican crime and are showing up at violent crime scenes…including the murder of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry. This little scandal involves the ATF, FBI, DEA, Border Patrol and the Department of Homeland Security…..all under the watchful eye of the Department of Justice. I do not believe that Obama will be implicated in this one because Eric Holder is the front-man and Obama will be protected at all cost. Just my opinion.
2. Solyndra: This one has been getting a lot of press lately. Solyndra is a California based company that makes solar panels. Obama made it the poster-child for his green jobs initiative and publicly touted it’s huge potential to not only advance the movement towards solar power but also the benefit of creating more jobs. So..what’s the problem you ask? Solyndra was doomed from the beginning and was in serious financial trouble before the White House granted it a $535 million loan guarantee (through the Stimulus legislation). The problem with Solyndra is that it’s new solar panels (which are cylindrical and supposedly lighter and easier to install) are very expensive to make and thus are more expensive to buy so consumers are continuing to buy the cheaper flat panels….which work just as well. Solyndra was never ever ever going to be profitable and the White House was warned about this but still continued to push for stimulus money. Solyndra filed for bankruptcy on September 6th…leaving the American taxpayer with a $535 million dollar tab. Oh….and one more thing….the primary shareholder in Solyndra is The George Kaiser Family Foundation. George Kaiser is a rather large campaign fundraiser for Obama and has visited the White House 16 times since 2009. What a coincidence.
3. Lightsquared: So far…there has been very little press about this one and details are still emerging. Lightsquared is a company that is involved in the broadband connectivity network. Their product would make it easier and faster for people to connect to wireless networks. The company is owned by the hedge fund Harbinger Capital. This hedge fund is headed by billionaire Philip Falcone who happens to be a huge donor to Democratic senatorial campaigns as well as to Obama’s campaign. Shortly after he made large donations to Democratic senatorial campaigns, the FCC granted the company a waiver to build their national 4g wireless network cheaply….which is a highly unusual move for the FCC. What a coincidence. Numerous people are crying foul but the bigger scandal here is something a little more criminal than big donor favoritism. The Pentagon is very concerned about Lightsquared’s new broadband network because the GPS system that it uses would interfere with the same system that the military uses to help it with missile tracking (among other things). The Pentagon sent Air Force General William Shelton to testify at a closed door meeting about their concerns. Just a few days ago, General Shelton revealed to House strategic forces subcommittee staffers that the White House tried to “encourage” him to say things in his testimony that would be beneficial to the Lightsquared project. The General was not too happy about being asked to change his testimony on the request of the White House. This one is much more than a “pay to play” scandal. This one is flat-out criminal and involves witness tampering. This has been getting some media coverage but not very much. It is my opinion that this one is the worst of the 3 scandals for Obama but time will tell whether he will suffer politically. I’m betting that there are many more “Solyndra’s” and “Lightsquared’s” out there but we’ll never know with our politically biased media.
There’s one thing that’s for sure with this crooked administration….
You can take Obama out of Chicago, but you can’t take Chicago out of Obama.

I am not a big fan of rappers. I’m sure that some are ok….underneath the vile lyrics, bling and thuggery that makes up the rap world but more often than not….they are worthless pieces of trash. One such piece of trash is “Soulja Boy”. This little boil on the butt of humanity put out a “song” (I hate to even call it a song) that has a line in it that says “f**k the Army troops”. I was going to add the YouTube video of the song but the language is so bad that just I couldn’t do it. Here’s the first few lines of the song that contain the offensive lyrics….

There’s been a rather large backlash from the community…especially from the military community…against the rapper and, of course, on Tuesday he issued an apology (doesn’t want a little thing like this to hurt the sales of his CD…he needs the millions to continue his thug lifestyle). It’s so pathetic. This little scumbag will continue to earn a ton of money for putting out disgusting material while so many families struggle to survive in this Obama economy.

The staff of the new Office of Diversity and Inclusion
(isn’t the big guy in the middle of the back row the same guy who was Gabby Gifford’s staffer? The one who helped save her just after she was shot? If not, he sure looks like him.)
Just a few days ago, Obama signed an Executive Order titled ”Establishing a Coordinated Government-Wide Initiative to Promote Diversity and Inclusion in the Federal Workforce.” How wonderful! Another government program…because we really don’t have enough. This Executive Order will ”direct federal agencies to draw upon the talents of all parts of society and allow the federal government to tap diverse perspectives to overcome the nation’s greatest challenges.”
Here is an excerpt from this order….
Section 1. Policy. Our Nation derives strength from the diversity of its population and from its commitment to equal opportunity for all. We are at our best when we draw on the talents of all parts of our society, and our greatest accomplishments are achieved when diverse perspectives are brought to bear to overcome our greatest challenges.
A commitment to equal opportunity, diversity, and inclusion is critical for the Federal Government as an employer. By law, the Federal Government’s recruitment policies should “endeavor to achieve a work force from all segments of society.” (5 U.S.C. 2301(b)(1)). As the Nation’s largest employer, the Federal Government has a special obligation to lead by example. Attaining a diverse, qualified workforce is one of the cornerstones of the merit-based civil service.
To realize more fully the goal of using the talents of all segments of society, the Federal Government must continue to challenge itself to enhance its ability to recruit, hire, promote, and retain a more diverse workforce. Further, the Federal Government must create a culture that encourages collaboration, flexibility, and fairness to enable individuals to participate to their full potential.
Instead of spending his time trying to figure out how to get millions of Americans back to work, Obama is just creating new government agencies to further extend government regulations.
Don’t we already have policies that require “inclusion” and “diversity”? We already have another government agency to ensure this….it’s call the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
While our Government still has jobs to offer….private sector jobs are very few and far between.
I know how Obama can stimulate the economy and create thousands of new private sector jobs.

I wondered why Obama was doing a bus tour in the Midwest…among mostly white working class people. For the most part, white working class people are far less angry and confrontational.
These people are hopping mad. I’d be mad too if I lived in Detroit.

The Dynamic Duo...Geithner and Obama
As predicted, the stock market is plummeting today….down almost 500 as I write this piece. As also predicted, the Obama administration is blaming everyone but themselves for the disaster (mainly blaming the Tea Party).
Here are just a few Democrat talking points that are appearing today…
1. Howard Dean: “I think they’re totally unreasonable and doctrinaire and not founded in reality. I think they’ve been smoking some of that tea, not just drinking it,”
2. David Axelrod: “The fact of the matter is that this is essentially a Tea Party downgrade. The Tea Party brought us to the brink of a default. … It was the right thing to do to avoid that default. It was the wrong thing to do to push the country to that point.”
3. John Kerry said that the S&P downgrade was “without question the Tea Party downgrade”
One thing they have conveniently ignored? The S&P made it perfectly clear why they downgraded our rating. “The downgrade reflects our opinion that the fiscal consolidation plan that Congress and the Administration recently agreed to falls short of what, in our view, would be necessary to stabilize the government’s medium-term debt dynamics.” The S&P requested a $4 trillion dollar debt reduction. They laid it out for Obama and Congress.
Obama…Reid…and Boehner knew what it would take to keep our AAA rating. The only plan that would have saved our rating was the Cut-Cap and Balance plan which passed in the House but not in the Senate. Our brilliant Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid declared the C-C-B bill “over,done,dead” before it even hit the Senate floor. Nice going Harry. If the bill had passed both houses then the pressure would have been on Obama to sign it. It was the only way to save our AAA rating. It was a very good bill.

In yesterday’s Wall Street Journal, Bret Stephens wrote a piece that summarized Obama’s presidency…alphabetically. It’s a wonderful and clever article and really spotlights what an abysmal failure this administration has been and why we need to get him out of office in 2012….before it’s too late.
Here’s a few of my favorite “letters” from the article…I encourage you to read the entire thing.
A is for the Arab world, and our standing in it: This year, Zogby International found that 5% of Egyptians had a favorable view of the U.S. In 2008, when George W. Bush was president, it was 9%. ( and Obama was going to be the US spokesman to the Arab world. Ha!)
D is for—what else—the federal debt, which grew to $14.3 trillion this month from $10.7 trillion at the end of 2008. D is also for the dollar, which has lost almost half its value against gold since Aug. 2008. (and if we don’t take back the White House and the Senate …that $14.3 trillion will continue to climb)
H is for Hillary Clinton, who—I can’t believe I’m writing this—would have made a better president than Mr. Obama. ( I LOVE this one. So true)
I is for Israel, a Middle Eastern country the president claims to support even as he routinely disses its prime minister, seeks to shrink its borders and—why not?—divide its capital. (Attention all Jewish voters…Obama is NOT your friend. He is your enemy so stop voting for him.)
J is for jobs. In November 2008, president-elect Obama promised he would create 2.5 million jobs by 2011. By October 2010 the economy had shed 3.3 million jobs. ( I think this will be the number one thing that will lose him re-election in 2012.)
O is for ObamaCare, which goes far to explain B, D, J as well as the Greek part of G. ( Obama’s signature legislation will become one of the worst bills in history. His legacy will be defined by this and that ain’t a good thing.)
T is for taxes, which Mr. Obama would like to see raised for “millionaires and billionaires”—curiously defined as people making $200K and up. ( Average Americans are wising up to his deceiving language about who will have their taxes raised and they don’t like it.)
W is for the Dubya, whose presidency now looks like a model of spending restraint. ( We miss George W. Bush. Once the punching bag for the left, W is beginning to gain back the respect that he deserves.)
Z is for zero, which is the likelihood that one of the current GOP hopefuls will defeat Mr. Obama in 2012. (hmmm…I hope he’s wrong on this one but perhaps he’s saying that Governor Palin should jump in and get the job done

GOP Plan vs Harry Reid’s Plan
Today…Harry Reid presented his debt plan and the GOP presented their debt plan today. Of course, each side doesn’t like the others sides plan. I think this leaves us in the same place we have been…..nowhere.
Here are the basic points of Harry Reid’s plan (as best I can tell)
1. His plan doesn’t reform entitlements…at all.
2. His plan counts on a lot of savings from the withdrawal of our troops from Iraq and Afghanistan. (a big gamble, I think)
3. His plan counts heavily on discretionary spending cuts.
4. His plan doesn’t include tax increases. (I’m suspicious of this one)
5. His plan will carry through until the end of 2012…and the elections.
The Republican leadership has just announced their plan so I am still trying to learn the specifics. It isn’t exactly cut-cap-balance but it’s close (according to Speaker Boehner). It only increases the debt ceiling by $900 billion. They also generate revenue by cutting discretionary spending by 1.2 trillion.
The big difference is that Obama is demanding that the plan extends through the end of 2012 (and through the elections) and the GOP’s plan only carries through until early 2012.
I think Harry Reid’s plan has a lot of “fuzzy” math involved and basically tries to throw a bone to both sides….no tax increases to please the GOP and no debt debate again until after the 2012 elections to please the White House. Reid is such a mealy mouthed schmuck…I have a very hard time watching him. Listen to his news conference (given just a few hours ago). He blames the Tea Party “extremist” for controlling the GOP and says that these extremists are ignoring what the American people want. (Warning…grab your barf bag before hitting the play button)

From what I can tell by listening to the beltway pundits on TV right now, neither side is going to go for the other’s solution. It looks like they will be heading back to the drawing board unless someone surprises (or disappoints) us.
Obama is addressing the nation AGAIN tonight at 9pm.
What can we expect him to say? I’m sure he’ll say that he is the reasonable mature one and it’s the Republican leadership that’s holding our nation hostage.
I feel like we are hostages right now and it’s Obama who’s writing the ransom note.

Is Speaker Boehner taking a nap?
I really don’t like the word “compromise” when it comes to dealing with Obama. It makes me very nervous. However…that’s the word that’s being thrown around after yesterday’s meeting between congressional leaders and the President. They are now scrambling to get some kind of a deal done before the Asian markets open Monday morning (Sunday evening EST). Word on the financial street (aka Wall Street) is that the markets are going to take a real beating if some deal isn’t made.
(MSNBC) House Speaker John Boehner told House Republicans in a conference call after meeting with President Barack Obama Saturday that he hoped to be able to announce a “viable framework for progress” by 4 p.m. EDT on Sunday, before Asian financial markets open, two participants told The Associated Press.
Please Mr. Boehner….don’t sell America out.
Of course….Obama isn’t really concerned about the welfare of our country. He’s mainly concerned about his re-election.
Obama’s only bottom line
Obama said his only requirement for an agreement was legislation that provides the Treasury enough borrowing authority to tide the government over through the 2012 election. Boehner said he had little interest in a short-term extension either.
That is so typical….and disgusting.

Well….David Ogden says that Obama ordered Project Gunrunner (and kicked in $10 million of stimulus money). Ogden specifically mentions “gun tracing” at the end of the clip. Sending thousands of assault rifles over the border to be traced to narco-thugs is the essence of Project Gunrunner. I know what the White House will claim….they didn’t know that the ATF was going to send assault rifles into Mexico as part of the project but who really believes that? In the military, if you are in command of a ship or battalion, you take responsibility for all those who serve under you…therefore, Obama is responsible for what is done by the DOJ (which covers the DEA and ATF).
So…is this video proof that Obama had some knowledge of what was happening with Project Gunrunner?

and testified on July 4th before Congressional investigators. Gunwalker goes all

Mexico and Central America, and thus use these optics to bolster their false
contention that “90%” of Mexican guns were sourced directly from the U.S. “See?

everywhere! The Second Amendment simply is not feasible any longer!”

should be tried as a non-state, non-uniformed enemy combatant. The rest should
be tried for treason, sedition and murder.
