Gary Johnson Slaps CBS with FEC and FCC Complaints Over Debate Shutout

Posted at November 18, 2011 by Kathleen4HB // 2012 GOP Candidates, Lamestream Media, Michelle Bachmann, Ron Paul

GOP Frontrunner Gary JohnsonAs the media bias commentator here on HillBuzz, I try to help voters understand how media bias works, how to recognize it, and how to tell if your opinions actually belong to you, or if you’re just repeating a meme planted in your head by the Democrat-Controlled Media.

I tend to use the Ron Paul campaign coverage to illustrate this, because bias against his campaign is the most obvious. (Ron Paul is third in fundraising, has won more straw polls than all other GOP candidates, #1 in donations from active duty military, and is polling #2 in Iowa and New Hampshire, and yet, is dead last in media coverage.)

There are two broad categories of media bias: sins of commission and sins of omission. Both are equally effective, but they’re used differently against different GOP candidates.

If a candidate’s closet is stuffed full of skeletons, or even just rumors of skeletons, the Democrat-Controlled Media will go over those skeletons with a microscope, and blast “news” of those skeletons into the ears of GOP voters with bullhorns 24/7 (See Herman Cain).

If a candidate is skeleton-free, and has a powerful message, the Democrat-Controlled Media simply pretends they don’t exist (see Michelle Bachmann, Ron Paul and Gary Johnson.)

The most recent example of this kind of exclusionary bias was delivered to us via CBS “News” last week. As has been widely reported, Ron Paul was asked only one question, and got only 89 seconds of airtime, during the one-hour televised portion of the debate. Michelle Bachmann received several more questions, but was rudely cut off during several answers, whereas other candidates (Mitt Romney, Rick Perry) were allowed to speak as long as they cared to. And Gary Johnson was excluded from the debate altogether, despite polling numbers that are similar to those of Rick Santorum, who was included.

This obvious bias has inspired Gary Johnson’s presidential campaign to file official complaints with both the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). His complaint styles the CBS debate as an “illegal campaign contribution”–essentially, an under-the-table in-kind donation to the candidates who were included in the debate and got the most air time. As reported on TheHill.com,

Johnson’s complaint charges that debate sponsor CBS significantly contributed to the candidates who were allowed to participate in the debate, “directly and significantly supporting those candidates it favors, and advocating the nomination of one of their favorites and opposing the nomination of [Johnson], whom CBS evidently disfavors.”  [...]

Saturday’s debate, co-hosted by CBS and National Journal, was the first debate to air on broadcast television. According to Johnson’s complaint, “the public owns the airways over which CBS broadcasts, and the public deserves to be free from bias — favoring some candidates over others — as well as illegal support of certain presidential candidates on national network television.”

Given the fact that CBS “News” Political Director John Dickerson knew in advance that Michelle Bachmann wouldn’t get many questions, it does tend to confirm Gary Johnson’s charge that the CBS debate was stage-managed to favor certain candidates over others.

This is just the latest and most obvious effort by the Democrat-Controlled Media to nominate Mitt Romney. As CNN’s Howard Kurtz notes in this segment after the Iowa Straw Poll, “We are in the business of kicking candidates out of the race.”

Sarah Palin on Ron Paul Media Blackout, CBS Debate

Posted at November 16, 2011 by Kathleen4HB // 2012 Elections, 2012 GOP Candidates, Michelle Bachmann, Refudiate Media Attacks, Rick Santorum, Ron Paul

GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul

H/T LambdaChi.org

The Democrat-Controlled-Media’s bias against GOP candidates who can beat Barack Hussein Obama is getting more apparent every day.

The most blatant recent example was the CBS/National Journal debate in South Carolina, where GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul was allowed to speak for only 89 seconds during the televised hour of the debate, receiving just one question. And Michelle Bachmann’s campaign was inadvertently copied on an email from CBS “News” prior to the debate, in which CBS “News” Political Director John Dickerson admitted that Michelle Bachmann “is not going to get many questions” in the debate (though she did get far more time than GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul).

This effort at media manipulation was so transparent that it became a story unto itself. The best exposé was probably this editorial in the New York Sun.

“A controversy has erupted over the fact that in the CBS debate on foreign policy Congressman Ron Paul got only 90 seconds….We’re not with Dr. Paul on all of his liberty campaign; as a general matter, he’s far too loath to levy the war on terror. But we have covered him on and off for more than 30 years and have come, even when we disagree with him, to respect him, particularly for his tendency to reach deep into the Constitution. He has done this on foreign policy in several important ways, starting with a bill he introduced in Congress within days of the outbreak of the war that erupted on September 11, 2001.

The bill was the first bid in generations to unleash one of the most important of the constitutional war powers, the letter of marque and reprisal, which is an instrument for bringing private parties into the war. The thinking that went into Dr. Paul’s bill deserves a hearing in any debate in which the GOP contenders are going to be grilled on foreign policy….”

The media blackout was even the topic of discussion the next morning on Fox News:

http://youtu.be/PqvvzqB3jsI

In an appearance with Greta van Susteren on Fox News, GOP Frontrunner Sarah Palin notes that Ron Paul, Michelle Bachmann and Rick Santorum have all been the subject of media blackouts. And she also encourages GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul to keep educating Americans about economic issues:

http://youtu.be/gv1Tn8iSwFg

I have a fantasy that involves Sarah Palin running as Ron Paul’s VP…because the Democrat-Controlled media would tear itself apart in an effort to destroy the ticket.

On the one hand, the Democrat-Controlled Media’s strategy to marginalize Ron Paul’s campaign demands that they downplay the huge crowds he draws at events, the fact that GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul is polling in the top 2 in Iowa and New Hampshire, the constant wins at straw polls, the fact that he’s #3 in fundraising among GOP candidates, and the #1 recipient of donations from active duty military.

However, we all know that the Democrat-Controlled Media is obsessively fascinated with Sarah Palin (remember the bus tour?), and is bent on destroying her. How could they give Sarah Palin enough coverage to destroy her, on the one hand, while simultaneously maintaining radio silence about the top of the ticket on the other?

The more I think about it, the more I love the idea of a Ron Paul/Sarah Palin ticket…

GOP Debate Advance Questions: CBS – National Journal

Posted at November 12, 2011 by Kathleen4HB // 2012 Elections, 2012 GOP Candidates, Debate Live Blogs & Transcripts, Debate Prep, Herman Cain, Jon Huntsman *, Michelle Bachmann, Mittens Romney, Newt Gingrich, Rick Perry, Rick Santorum, Ron Paul

With all the trouble with had with the site being inaccessible today, our mole at CBS didn’t get the questions to us until moments ago.

Moderator: As you all know, this debate will focus on foreign policy. So our purpose here today is to give the Democrat National Committee the damning sound bytes they need from Mitt Romney to make our very wise president, Barack Obama, look like a foreign policy genius in the commercials next year. Because I’m sure we can all agree, with the economy in shambles, the President’s personal killing of Moammar Ghaddafi and Osama bin Laden are the only bright spots in his tenure thus far.

So with that in mind, please answer the following questions in detail, in 15 seconds or less. You’ll have 15 seconds for rebuttals, unless you’re Michelle Bachmann, in which case we’ll cut you off after 10 seconds, or Ron Paul, whom we intend to ignore until after Rick Perry has made his his brain freeze gaffe du jour, or until the last 10 minutes, whichever is later.

And as usual, Mitt Romney may speak as long as he chooses, as the Frontrunner Handpicked By Us Presumptive GOP Nominee.

Michelle Bachmann: Is it true you can see Russia from your house? And, as a follow-up, isn’t it true that our friends in the Muslim world would see the election of a woman as a provocation, and isn’t that reason enough for you to drop out of the race?

Rick Perry: If a train leaves Islamabad at 3:45 a.m., traveling west at 55 kilometers per hour…Mr. Perry? Please wake up, Mr. Perry. We have to maintain the illusion that you’re top tier. Mr. Perry?

Mitt Romney: Is there anything you need from us? To whom should we be most dismissive? Did you get the box of Cuban cigars we dropped off in your dressing room? Fidel autographed them for you. Excellent…and the champagne? Was it bubbly enough for you? How about the caviar. Did you get the caviar? We got the beluga, as you requested. So, Mr. Romney…you look extra presidential tonight. Please share with us, in detail, the foreign policy failings of each one of your GOP opponents. Take all the time you need.

Jon Huntsman: You were appointed ambassador to China, our biggest creditor, by the president who has run up the USA’s largest national debt. Where do you get your suits tailored? Can you tell us how to say “sucker” in Chinese?

Rick Santorum: Frankly, you have no chance of winning.

Newt Gingrich: How would you build alliances with our allies, given the fact that you gave your wife cancer and then murdered her?

Herman Cain: Counting from 12:01 a.m. this morning, how long has it been since you forced yourself on a blonde white woman?

Ron Paul: You insist on repeating the findings of the 9/11 Commission, in which they say that terrorist attacks on the U.S. are “blowback” for decades of U.S. meddling in the internal affairs of Muslim nations in the Middle East, such as the 1953 coup in Iran, in which the CIA helped overthrow Iran’s democratically-elected prime minister and install the Shah of Iran. Isn’t it true, Mr. Paul, that despite getting more campaign donations from active duty military than all other candidates put together, you actually hate America and secretly root for the terrorists? Hold that thought…we’re out of time.

The Democrat-Controlled Media and Herman Cain: Who Are You Going To Believe?

Posted at November 9, 2011 by NewtLove // 2012 GOP Candidates, Enabling the Left, Herman Cain, Refudiate Media Attacks

Herman Cain takes the stage to address the Conservative Political Action conference (CPAC) in Washington

This election will be / is a scorched-earth campaign. The Dems will burn down every building in America if they believe that it will help them win the election.

Manufacturing “witnesses” is easy… Judas was bought and paid for.
The “October Surprise” tactics are coming out early.

Stupid rock-ribbed conservatives… The Bush DUI story on the eve of the election almost cost him the Presidency. That DUI was a long-time earlier, and Bush had repented, sobered up, and become a devout Christian, but because the knee-jerk reaction of the moral majority, they didn’t vote for the hypocrite Bush, when their Christianity should have DEMANDED that they accept his long-standing repentance and so vote for Bush.

If today’s Republicans can’t see that the lying-cheating-stealing PRESS Democrat-Controlled Media are doing everything they can to scuttle anyone who may threaten Obama’s 2nd term, then they deserve to be defeated and have Obama oversee the final destruction of their remnant of America.

The PRESS Democrat-Controlled Media are LIARS. Liberal Dems are happy to help them destroy candidates. The Cocktail Party Reps are in bed with them, too.

The Cocktail Party is to the Democrat Party like the Washington Generals are to The Harlem Globetrotters; they make a good living by always losing to the “home team” after making it look like they tried hard.

Gloria Allred showed up in the last days of the 2010 California election to throw an illegal-alien maid under the bus to service her beloved Democrat Party. It may have contributed to the Republican loss.

Now Allred is showing up with accusers who have no court case, not even CIVIL courts, so where is the money? Somebody is giving out $B$I$IG$ to lots of people to make it happen.

OWS? It’s a stage magician’s distraction to get people’s eyes off Obama and the Dems so they can operate more freely. Now ask yourself where the $M$O$NE$Y$ for the gourmet catering in all those cities is coming from? Somehow, the PRESS Democrat-Controlled Media is not curious about it.

How do all these Cain accusers find the money to do things like fly to California and be in press conferences with Allred? Who is paying the freight?

If the Republicans allow themselves to be tricked into swallowing the lies of the PRESS Democrat-Controlled Media and the Dems, that Cain, or any candidate, is bad / immoral / what ever, then the Reps deserve to lose everything, and be taxed 100% while Dems get paid government money in several more rounds of Porkulous.

Decide who you want to believe:

(1) the PRESS Democrat-Controlled Media who always is surprised at the high unemployment numbers (3 years running) but predict a good outlook next month, only to be surprised by the disappointing unemployment numbers again, but next month will be better

(2) your own eyes.

Like a jealous teenager, the PRESS Democrat-Controlled Media and the Dems will do and say anything to ruin a candidate who the Reps may like that could beat Obama in the 2012 Presidential Election.

Don’t be stupid!

Don’t fall for it.

Fox News: Take Ron Paul Out Of Debates Unless He Endorses Romney

Posted at November 8, 2011 by Kathleen4HB // 2012 Elections, Lamestream Media, Tea Party

I think Fox News is more fair and balanced that Democrat-controlled media outlets like MSNBC, for example–but Fox News is, and always has been, part of the Cocktail Party GOP Establishment. So I wasn’t surprised that Chris Wallace spent much of this interview on Fox News Sunday asking Ron Paul about other candidates instead of his own positions.

http://youtu.be/zcgjF-IINNw

During the interview, Ron Paul was asked if he would endorse the eventual nominee. Why even ask a candidate, this early, if he would endorse someone else? I think it’s part of an effort to further marginalize GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul, who’s #3 in donations among the GOP field, and has won more straw polls than all other GOP candidates, and is consistently polling in 3rd place in early primary states. GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul gets more donations from members of the active duty military than all other GOP candidates combined. This is despite the fact that Ron Paul gets only 2% of the coverage of the GOP field.

As part of the Cocktail Party GOP Establishment, Fox News is working to give the nomination to Mittens Romneycare. and Ron Paul knows this.

So, when Ron Paul was obliquely asked if he would endorse Mittens–the most unprincipled candidate in the race–the most principled GOP candidate in the race, Ron Paul, answered:

“…if they believe in expanding the wars, if they don’t believe in looking at the Federal Reserve, if they don’t believe in real cuts, if they don’t believe in deregulation, and a better tax system, it would defy everything I believe in, so therefore I would be reluctant to jump onboard and tell all the supporters that have given me trust and money… ‘all we’ve done is for naught,’ so let’s support anybody at all…even if they disagree with everything that we do….”

Last time I checked, this was the platform of the Tea Party. This is what all those Tea Party rallies were all about.

This concept of having “principles” is foreign to many people in today’s world, and it’s exceptionally rare among politicians (and nonexistent among the Democrat-controlled media).

So the talking heads on The Five, which is Fox News’ version of The View, just can’t wrap their heads around it.

Asking Ron Paul to endorse a candidate who wants to expand unconstitutional wars, unconstitutional government regulations, unconstitutional spending, and massive debt is like asking an Hasidic Rabbi to endorse the Hamas candidate. It’s like asking Coke to endorse Pepsi. It’s like asking Barack Obama to endorse George Washington.

So, if Ron Paul, and his supporters like me, simple won’t vote for Obama-Lite–if we won’t endorse a candidate who will take the country over the cliff at 65 miles an hour versus 80 miles an hour–then the talking heads on The Five think that Ron Paul doesn’t deserve to be a candidate for the GOP nomination.

Members of The Five get themselves into quite a snit over Ron Paul having principles. After all, “all the other conservative candidates” say they’ll support whoever is nominated. Well, except for Jon Huntsman, who isn’t a conservative.

They wring their hands over the “solid 7%” of Ron Paul voters who refuse to vote for whatever Obama Lite, It’s His Turn, John McCain II, Cocktail Party Establishment GOP candidate the media shoves down our throats. (Hint to Fox News: it’s a hell of a lot bigger than 7%. NO real conservatives can stand Mittens Romneycare. But you already knew that, didn’t you?)

And one of The Five actually says that unless Ron Paul will go along to get along, abandon his principles, spit in the face of the servicemen and women who support him, and feed the Constitution into the shredder, he shouldn’t be allowed in any more debates.

How many times do I have to say it?

Don’t let the media pick your candidate for you!

Barack Obama Reached Over and Sexually Assaulted My Economy

Posted at November 8, 2011 by Kathleen4HB // 2012 Elections, Essays - Conservativism, Hillbuzz, Hypocrisy, Tea Party

I feel that it’s time the “truth” came out. I’m a victim of economic harassment by Barack Hussein Obama, who is not a Muslim, but is most assuredly a Marxist and probably gay.

I remember it as though it were yesterday (when I look at the “narrative” my attorney, Gloria “Media Whore” Allread, wrote for me to read at this press conference).

I had been going out with the GOP for about four years. Although I respected George W. Bush, I couldn’t stand his big-spending ways, so GWB and I broke up.

I met Barack Hussein Obama when I was on the rebound. He looked me right in the TelePrompTer and promised me that he was “hopey” and “changey,” and said I wouldn’t have to worry about paying my mortgage or putting gas in my car, or weatherizing my house, or paying for my own health insurance or healthcare. Which was a good thing, because soon after I helped elect Barack Hussein Obama, my retirement account tanked and I lost half my client base.

So anyway, my old gas-guzzler died, and I couldn’t afford a good used car because Cash For Clunkers scrubbed all the quality used cars from the market. But that was okay, because Barack promised to pick me up in one of his shiny new black buses.

Yes, I remember it as though I made up this story moments ago…that’s when Barack Hussein Obama–who is not a Muslim, but is most assuredly a Marxist and probably gay–reached over and was inappropriate with my economy. I could feel his hand reaching up towards my wallet, while he was grabbing the back of my head and trying to force me to bow before him, the way he does toward foreigners and Muslim dictators.

“Hey! I have a belief in American Exceptionalism!” I said, and pushed his hand away. I told him to take me home, which he did right away. But then when I got off the bus, I swear, it felt like he shoved me under it.

I’d tell you more, but I sold the Enquirer an exclusive.

Ron Paul Wins Yet Another GOP Straw Poll; Media Too Busy Destroying Herman Cain to Notice

Posted at November 4, 2011 by Kathleen4HB // 2012 Elections, Refudiate Media Attacks, Tea Party
Herman Cain at the Values Voters Summit, October, 2011

Herman Cain - photo by Gage Skidmore

In the past five days, the Democrat-controlled media has given GOP Frontrunner Herman Cain more scrutiny than they have given Barack Hussein Obama over the past five years, much of which is disgustingly, overtly bigoted.

Since there is a paucity of actual, you know, facts to report, or alleged sexual harassment victims to interview, the DCM has taken to speculating, then interviewing each other about their speculations.

Their gleeful personal destruction of a conservative black man hasn’t given them much time to, you know, report any news.

So when GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul won his 15th straw poll vote of the 2012 election season this week, the only media outlet to report it was a local radio station in Central Illinois. A total of 426 students from ISU, Heartland Community College, Lincoln College-Normal, and Illinois Wesleyan University participated, 93% of whom plan to vote in the general election.

If local college students had their way, the 2012 race would be between President Barack Obama and Republican U.S. Rep. Ron Paul. [...]

The GOP part of the poll was won by Paul, a Texas Republican, who took 35 percent of the vote. Next were former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney (19 percent) and businessman Herman Cain (16 percent).

ISU professor Steve Hunt said it’s no surprise. He said Paul’s message – from economics to an antiwar foreign policy – resonates with young voters.

“He talks about issues that they’re concerned about, whether it’s student loan debt that they’re facing, the cost of college, the issues with unemployment,” Hunt said. “But he also talks about, generally, the idea that government shouldn’t be in your business.”

GOP Frontrunner Dr. Ron Paul

Ron Paul, H/T LambdaChi.org

Back in the day, when Barack Hussein Obama was running for president, straw polls were seen as an important early indication of support for a candidate from the most politically active members of a community or political party. After all, to vote in a straw poll, you first have to find out about the poll. Since they’re not highly publicized, you have to be pretty plugged in to politics to hear about one. Then, you actually have to leave the house (sometimes in bad weather), and pay money to participate. It requires a much higher degree of commitment and involvement that merely voting in a primary (which is free and highly publicized.)

But once GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul started winning straw polls, they suddenly lost all significance as far as the Democrat-controlled media is concerned. When Ron Paul wins a straw poll, it’s “rigged” or “fixed,” or the ballot box was “stuffed.”

You see, winning a straw poll is only newsworthy when Mittens Romneycare or Barack Hussein Obama does it. Otherwise, it’s a “fluke.”

So when GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul won his 15th straw poll this week, the Democrat-controlled media decided that reporting 12-year-old rumors about an uppity black conservative was more important than reporting actual, current facts about Ron Paul.

Perhaps this is why a Gallup poll, released last week, found that 55 percent of Americans surveyed have little or no trust of the journalists who report the news, and 60 percent of Americans see a noticeable bias in their news coverage.

Must-Read: The Premature Coronation of Mitt Romney on AmericanThinker.com

Posted at October 27, 2011 by Kathleen4HB // 2012 Elections, Cocktail Party GOP, Enabling the Left, Tea Party
Mittens Romney Says "It's My Turn, Peasants!"

Democrat Pick Mitt Romney

Kevin has been warning readers about “Extremely Premature Romney Coronitis” for years. It’s good to see that others have started to figure out the Democrat-controlled media’s game. The Premature Cornation of Mitt Romney is a must-read. Jered Peterson has nailed it. Here are some money quotes:

…in propaganda, it’s not the analysis — it’s the repetition that counts….we are going to see a lot more of this kind of ludicrous coronational stuff from the MSM and the Republican establishment, especially as Romney’s interminable campaign continues to exhibit its signal trait: failure to engender a shred of enthusiasm among the Republican voter base — or, for that matter, among Romney’s own alleged supporters.

Peterson reports the results of the latest Fox News poll and notes that

Among those who identify with the Tea Party wing of the Republican Party, whose energy and commitment disproportionately drove the 2010 electoral victory, the numbers are even more disturbing for the MSM/Party establishment-designated sure thing….Here the result is even more lopsided: conservatives with serious levels of support (Cain, Gingrich, Paul, and Perry) get a total of 63% of the vote to Romney’s 18%, with 8% undecided and the candidates with minimal support (a total of 4%) divided essentially as among “All Republicans.”

Peterson also correctly points out that the Cocktail Party GOP is just as hostile to the nomination of a conservative GOP candidate as the Democrat-Crontrolled Media (but for different reasons, of course.) He points out what I’ve been pointing out for months:

…there is absolutely no frontrunner now, and the race for the Republican nomination is wide open.  It will be the primary voters, not the MSM commentators or the Party establishment, who select the nominee.  Every word the latter utter, every sentence they write, containing the word “frontrunner” needs to be ignored.

I couldn’t have said it better myself.

Hat Tip to alert reader Richard for this story.

Sarah Palin Endorses Ron Paul’s Libya Policy

Posted at October 21, 2011 by Kathleen4HB // 2012 Presidential Campaign, Conservativism, Essays - Conservativism, Lamestream Media, Sarah Palin

It’s getting colder and colder in Hell these days.

Last week, Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh endorsed Ron Paul’s plan to slash the federal budget by $1 trillion, eliminate 5 unconstitutional departments, and roll back federal spending to 2006 levels.

This week, GOP Frontrunner Sarah Palin is giving Ron Paul’s non-interventionist foreign policy a thumbs-up.

“You’ve got to give it to Ron Paul. Whether you agree with everything he says or not, at least he is one there in Congress trying to make our President stick to the law and understand that Congress does have a role to play in these foreign policy decisions that are made and Ron Paul, I think hit the nail on the head, when he came out and said Obama had better be careful when he interjects himself and our country in other nations’ business.”  — Sarah Palin

I know there are some of you who won’t read this post on principle, because the name of GOP Frontrunner “Ron Paul” is in the headline.

I’d like to submit to you that unless you’ve made up your mind about GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul after reading about all his positions, and comparing them with the output of the current occupant of the White House, you’re just being manipulated by the Cocktail Party GOP and/or the government-controlled media.

Seriously. If you actually have a visceral emotional reaction to the name Ron Paul, ask yourself where that visceral reaction came from. If you’re afraid, it’s probably thanks to the government-controlled media and public school system, which never taught you critical thinking skills.

If you’re angry, you’re probably wearing a blue blazer and khaki pants, sitting next to your cucumber and mayo sandwich, waiting for that call from the Romney campaign to tell you when the next Cocktail Party is scheduled.

Journalists and editors overwhelmingly vote for Democrats. So, when you listen to “news” stories about GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul (or indeed, any other GOP candidate), it’s as though you’re letting the Democrat National Committee pick your candidate for you.

I can’t emphasize this enough.

When the Mainstream Media Democrat National Committee shoves Mittens Romneycare down my throat, and gives just 2% of its news coverage to GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul, I become even more interested in what Ron Paul has to say.

Especially when, despite the ongoing media blackout, Ron Paul is #3 in fundraising among GOP candidates (just $5 million behind Rick “I Heart Illegals” Perry), and has won or placed second in over a dozen straw polls of active grassroots republican voters, including the Big Three: CPAC, the Iowa Straw Poll, and the Values Voters Straw poll.

  • Finishes 2nd in the New Hampshire Straw Poll
  • Wins the CPAC Straw Poll
  • Wins the Phoenix, Arizona Tea Party Straw Polls
  • Wins the Republican Liberty Caucus of California Presidential Straw Poll
  • Finishes 2nd among currently running candidates in the St. Anselm College Republicans Straw Poll
  • Wins the New Orleans, Louisiana Republican Leadership Conference Straw Poll
  • Wins the Clay County, Iowa Republican Party Straw Poll
  • Finishes 2nd in the Iowa Straw Poll, by less than 1% of the vote
  • Wins the New Hampshire Young Republicans Straw Poll
  • Finishes 3 votes behind winner Herman Cain in the Georgia State GOP Straw Poll
  • Wins the post-debate Cincinnati Tea Party Straw Poll
  • Wins the California GOP Straw Poll
  • Wins the Values Voter Straw Poll
  • Wins the Los Angeles County Straw Poll

Yet the Mainstream Media Democrat National Committee continues to black out this story. Or when they do refer to GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul, they call him “unelectable,” which is an interesting adjective choice for someone who has been elected to his seat in Congress eleven times.

Hmmm. It’s almost as though the Mainstream Media Democrat National Committee doesn’t want people to know about GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul.

Why could that possibly be?

The Pew Research Center's analysis reveals that Ron Paul receives just 2% of all media coverage of GOP candidates.

Mitt Romney, Wall Street and the Federal Reserve: Crony Capitalism On Parade

Posted at October 20, 2011 by Kathleen4HB // 2012 Elections, Cocktail Party GOP, Lamestream Media, Tea Party

My dad has a quaint saying that he picked up while he was serving on the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Forrestal: “Money Talks and Sh*t Walks.”

So, what does the money say about Cocktail Party Establishment pick Mittens Romneycare–annoined the “frontrunner” by the Government-Controlled Media? And, by way of contrast, what does it say about  GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul, whose media coverage blackout is so comically biased that it inspired a segment on The Daily Show and a three-day “Black This Out” fundraiser?

A recent independent analysis of fundraising by OpenSecrets.org reveals an interesting contrast between the employers of the top 3 sources of campaign contributions among the Top Tier candidates (yes, Ron Paul is #3 in fundraising among all GOP candidates–betcha didn’t read that in the Government-Controlled Media.)

Mittens Romneycare’s top contributors are employees of Goldman Sachs, recipient of over $3.8 billion in U.S. taxpayer bailouts, Credit Suisse Group (recipient of $287 billion in secret bailouts from the Federal Reserve), and Morgan Stanley, recipient of at least 31 secret loans from the Federal Reserve totaling billions of dollars.

Mitt Romney: Top Choice of Bailed Out Banksters

Mitt Romney's Top Contributors

Mittens Romneycare is the status-quo choice of some of Wall Street’s worst offenders when it comes to sucking bailout money out of the pockets of U.S. taxpayers. Is it any wonder why the Government-Controlled Media is shoving this horror show of a candidate down our throats, while at the same time, gifting the Soros-Funded OWS Pee Party with 24/7 wall-to-wall “news” coverage?

It’s a SETUP, people.

The Government-Controlled Media is building up Mittens Romneycare knowing full well that it already has all the ammunition it needs to tear him right back down, using the Pee Party Pro-Testers complaints against Wall Street as “proof” that Mittens Romneycare is an evil, corrupt crony capitalist. (Which, incidentally, he is.)

GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul

In contrast, GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul’s top three groups of campaign contributors work for the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, and U.S. Navy.

Let me say that again. The top presidential candidate of members of our active-duty military is GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul. He beats ALL GOP candidates AND Barack Hussein Obama (who, incidentally, is not a Muslim.)

GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul has made a career fighting against federal government corruption and cronyism–particularly at the Federal Reserve. Most Americans think the Federal Reserve a government agency. But it’s actually a privately-owned central bank.

The Federal Reserve is allegedly supposed to regulate the value of the American dollar, and prevent booms, busts and bubbles. Like the mortgage bubble that has been destroying the U.S. economy for the past several years. But in reality, it’s simply a massive slush fund that facilitates massive corruption and intergenerational theft. It’s a tool of members of the Ruling Class like Barack Hussein Obama and Mittens Romneycare, whose campaigns are funded largely by banks whose employees sit on the board of directors of the Federal Reserve, as reported by ABC in a random act of journalism:

…the Federal Reserve consulted with [Obama donor] General Electric on the creation of a commercial paper funding facility and then provided $16 billion in financing to the company while its chief executive, Jeffrey Immelt, served as a director on the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Immelt is now President Obama’s “jobs czar.”

JP Morgan Chase could also have benefited from its chief executive Jamie Dimon’s position on the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, according to the GAO. The bank received emergency loans from the Federal Reserve at the same time it served as the clearinghouse for the Fed’s emergency lending program.

The Federal Reserve gave JP Morgan Chase an 18-month exemption from risk-based leverage and capital requirements in 2008, the same year that the Fed gave it $29 billion to acquire Bear Stearns, according to the GAO.

Mittens Romneycare and Barack Hussein Obama are both cut from the same cloth. A Mittens Romneycare victory in November 2012 would be a continuation of the same crony capitalism that has bankrupted America and given real free-market capitalism a black eye.

So is it any wonder that the Government-Controlled Media (98% of whom are Democrats) gives Mittens Romneycare the label of “frontrunner” while giving GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul the least coverage of any candidate overall, according to the Pew Research Center?

Even GOP Frontrunner Sarah Palin supports Ron Paul in his bid to audit the Federal Reserve.

Once you understand the origins of the Federal Reserve, how the Fed benefits members of the Ruling Class like Barack Hussein Obama and Mitt Romney, government bailouts of top Democrat fundraisers on Wall Street, and “mainstream media” coverage, you get an entirely different picture of the GOP primary process.

Handpicked media darling Mittens Romneycare stands for the status quo–more bailouts, more crony capitalism, more Cocktail Parties. GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul want to slash the federal government’s budget by $1 trillion in his first year in office, end the Federal Reserve, and end the bailouts. And vastly different media coverage of both candidates is a direct reflection of this.
