Sharon Meroni’s One-Woman Crusade Against Voter Fraud in Illinois — and how you could do some of this in your own state

Sharon Meroni is a one-woman crusade against voter fraud in the state of Illinois…and she’s amazing to watch in person (or in YouTube videos) because she’s made it her personal mission to force compliance with Illinois’ election laws here in Chicago and in greater Cook County. It’s shocking how much voter fraud and illegal activity happens in our election system just because the general public never forces Boards of Election to actually comply with existing requirements in a state’s election-governing statutes.
Sharon is a mom from the Chicago suburbs who founded Defend the Vote, the very first organization of its kind meant to target voter fraud and prevent it in what’s arguably the most corrupt state in the union. Prior to starting up this group two years ago, Sharon was never involved in politics and actually was a corporate headhunter; Defend the Vote just sort of happened because Sharon saw the need for something like it and decided to stop waiting for someone else to make it happen. So began working every day to make herself an expert in Illinois election law…and then set out to audit the process in this state to see just how much shenanigans the various election entities in Illinois were up to.
I’ve been following her work in the lead up to (and aftermath of) the 2012 election and have actually started attending Boards of election meetings on my own, too, so I can see in person the sort of things Sharon describes on Defend the Vote’s own site. It’s shocking how some of these Board Members treat citizens in Illinois and how unserious they are about voter fraud.
There are actually three different election entities that impact life in Chicago; listed in order from most professional to absolutely ridiculous, they are:
* The Chicago Board of Election Commissioners (which covers the City of Chicago itself)
* The Illinois State Board of Elections (covering the whole state)
* The Cook County Clerk’s Office (which handles “suburban Cook County”, which is the part of Cook County that’s not Chicago itself)
It’s surprising, but the City of Chicago election officials are actually very nice to deal with…and remain professional during their board meetings. Sharon Meroni caught the City of Chicago illegally using the wrong documents to verify signatures on absentee ballots…and immediately after she brought this to their attention they swooped in and corrected what was happening…and even apparently took measures to correct the mistakes they made on about two hundred thousand ballots (proof that they made the correction is still forthcoming, but at the last Board Meeting the Executive Director Lance Gough told Sharon that he’d sent her a written report showing the changes and corrections they made in the matter). It actually seems like the people on the City’s Board want the elections to be free of fraud and incompetence…but they just don’t have anyone focused on identifying problems. When someone like Sharon takes the time to observe problems and report on them, the City Board seems to listen and doesn’t waste time addressing what’s wrong.
It’s a completely different story with the State Board of Elections in Illinois, with the Board in this case behaving like clowns and buffoons at their meetings. Large amounts of time are taken up at State Board meetings talking about matters unrelated to the actual elections: sugar cookies, employees who have been with the Board for many years and who wanted their resumes read aloud for some reason, various personal gripes the Board members have about life in general, what people are doing for fun that coming weekend, etc. When Sharon’s attended State Board meetings, the Board Members treat her derisively and say ridiculous things to her like, “You’re not a member of the Board!” or “We’ll only listen to you for 10 minutes and then you have to shut up!”. Meanwhile, there’s no limit to the amount of time that can be spent talking about sugar cookies. The State Board has no interest in hearing about security flaws or illegal activity in its election system…and in fact takes the attitude that “nothing’s wrong and we don’t want to hear about anything being wrong because we don’t want to fix anything!”. They remind me a lot of an after-school club in high school that puts on rallies and things, only they don’t do all that great a job doing it but they are seniors so they “rule the school” and no one can tell them otherwise. They are absolute clowns, every last one of them.
Then there’s the weird entity that is the Cook Count Clerk’s Office, which has been run by a petty tyrant named David Orr since 1992. He just keeps getting reelected, largely because Republicans don’t bother to run anyone against him and he’s a key part of the Chicago political machine so he’s never challenged in any sort of primary. He’s, thus, one of the Illinois aristocrats of the Left who keep things going “the Chicago way” perpetually. The Clerk’s Office is not required to hold any public meetings and there is no mechanism to force David Orr or anyone who works for him to answer questions from the public. All someone like Sharon Meroni can do is submit FOIA requests, which the Clerk’s Office is required to respond to eventually. But, since there is no Board and no public meetings, the Clerk’s Office operates almost entirely in shadows…and does all sorts of things that violate state election law. David Orr gives the impression he’s quite proud of this.
Once you start looking into this stuff, it’s amazing how much everyone involved with elections hates when the public starts paying attention to them. Even professional people like those on the City of Chicago Board of Election Commissioners don’t like public scrutiny. They aren’t used to it, they have never had to deal with this before, and they largely don’t know how to behave themselves when questioned by citizens.
There’s some kind of meeting or observable event for at least one of the election bodies covering Chicago every other day or so, it seems…and the moment one election is finished they all start gearing up for the next one. In Chicago’s case, there are primaries in February for April’s local elections. There’s also going to be a big mess caused by Jesse Jackson Jr’s meltdown and resignation from Congress. And then before any of us can believe it, we’ll have the 2014 elections and their own primaries just around the corner. It never ends.
And none of it will ever get any better unless regular people start taking an interest in all of this.
I think we’re really lucky to have someone like Sharon Meroni here in Chicago, making it her personal mission to become an expert in all things election-related. I know she’s having an impact just by how unhinged she makes the Illinois State Board and by how much they clearly dislike her presence at their meetings. If they were competent people with nothing to hide who were doing their jobs effectively, then they wouldn’t care a lick that Sharon is taking an interest in them. Just imagine how their counterparts would act in YOUR home state if you made elections and ballot-integrity your own mission where you live.
It’s a lot of reading, going to meetings, and hard work…but the payoff can be pretty big. Sharon Meroni caught the City in illegal activity and forced them to correct themselves. Who knows what she’ll catch next…or what YOU could help catch happening in your own part of the country.
Help Needed: Convince conservative writers to cover Sharon Meroni’s efforts to combat voter fraud in Illinois and get her the 500 election judges she still needs!
Folks, there’s a big story here that needs to make national news and I need YOUR help in breaking it wide open.
This could actually end up being the biggest story of the 2012 elections…but it’s hard to get conservative writers to focus on anything in Illinois, since the past incompetence of the GOP in our state has made it something of a laughingstock nationally.
One woman — a mom from the suburbs of Chicago — took it upon herself to mount a crusade against voter fraud here in Illinois and she is close to shutting down at least two major avenues of fraud that Democrats have relied on for DECADES in Chicagoland. She’s been threatened, bullied, maligned, and stonewalled…and that’s just by the cocktail-party-Republicans here who are still in the mindset of “let’s not upset the apple cart”. Democrats hate this woman because systematically she’s gone after one avenue of voter fraud after another, removing layers of fraud that Democrats have built into Illinois elections since the first Mayor Daley was magically finding boxes of votes to give John F. Kennedy the edge in 1960.
Her name is Sharon Meroni and she needs your help today.
It’s down to the wire and Sharon still needs 500 Republican election judges in Cook County…and she needs them by this coming Thursday. If she doesn’t find 500 more judges, then Democrats will get to fill those positions…just like they have in previous elections. Democrats use those slots as patronage pay-offs and also enjoy having complete control of polling places…which is how the dead are allowed to vote in many cases or how, mysteriously, people who didn’t actually show up to vote end up voting anyway if Democrats need them to in tight elections. Without a Republican judge in a polling place to prevent this from happening, fraud is institutionalized in Cook County elections.
The task of filling these election judge slots has been so monumental that it’s no wonder the GOP in Illinois has never even tried before…but Sharon Meroni is close to succeeding. She is a living, breathing American hero and something close to a wonder woman for getting this close…but she is still 500 judges away from meeting her goal.
How you can help:
Please contact every conservative writer you can think of by email or fax today. Let’s start making a list in this thread, and start putting the contact numbers down so others can write these people too. We need to send out an S.O.S. to every big name out there and ask him or her to help Sharon get the 500 judges she needs. In the past, this would have been a moment where I could call up Andrew Breitbart and ask him to help and he would have blasted his network and ultimately delivered the volunteers. With Andrew gone, though, I don’t know anyone who’s filling that niche when action is needed.
Here is what Sharon needs:
* 500 people who live in Cook County who voted Republican in the past (which means they are registered as Republicans in Illinois, because party registration is determined by which ballot you pull in the primaries)
* Get the word out that these 500 people need to go to www.ElectionJudges.us to apply to be election judges in Cook County
* Election judging requires being on site at a polling place for the entirety of November 6th, 2012. This might mean taking a sick day to do this…but you will be compensated $170/day for doing this.
* People who have questions about whether they would qualify need to call: 312-242-1818
YOU can help by sending this article to every conservative writer you can think of. Ask them to cover this effort. The ElectionJudges.US website has all the information they need to write a good story on this. They can also arrange to interview Sharon for more information by calling 312-242-1818 to find out more about how these election judges could eliminate scores of fraud in Illinois.
Just imagine: the most corrupt and voter-fraud-ridden state in the country suddenly faced with a concerted effort to prevent fraud for the first time EVER, all because you took time out of your day today to help one mom with her crusade to fill all Republican election judge positions with actual Republicans.
Please help us do this. Please help us secure our elections in Illinois.

Candid Feedback Needed: What’s keeping you from combating Voter Fraud where you live?
Can you take a moment or two to think about what keeps you from actively participating in some kind of effort against Voter Fraud where you live?
I know you are against Voter Fraud, or you would not be a regular reader here. I also know you care about the political process because you regularly read a political site. I know that you want to be involved, but I wonder what stops you.
Is it that you don’t know how you can be helpful?
Is the voter integrity material too dense to really get a-hold of or too hard to find online?
Have you heard of groups like Defend the Vote or others like it where you live?
There are two things that I hear every election that just drive me up the wall: that “Democrats have better GOTV efforts” and that “nobody’s done anything to stop voter fraud since last time, again”.
I have no idea how to address the GOTV stuff because aside from the union thugs muscling people to vote Democrat and other entitlement-programs demanding a push for Democrats in major cities like Chicago, I don’t know what GOTV activities legitimately go on. I think a lot of the GOTV stuff is actually part of voter fraud efforts — since Democrats actively look for senior citizens with dementia so they can vote in their names at nursing homes on the way home from taking grave rubbings to get names of new voter registrations in places like Chicago. I’ve personally seen the “voting in the name of old people” stuff happen, because the Obama campaign did that during the 2008 election, along with the voter intimidation efforts from everyone from the Black Panthers to the Union Bosses and the Gaystapo goon squads here in Boystown.
The Left wins with these tactics because good people — the actual majority of Americans — don’t get personally involved in the effort to stop voter fraud. There is just no valid reason that America should not have a secure system of elections that makes fraud impossible.
But people need to demand that.
Can you talk a little bit about why you haven’t become personally involved in a Voter Fraud Prevention organization? The goal is to find out what’s the hurdle and then let’s work to remove that (as much as possible).

What I’m looking for are images that, when placed next to a voting booth, you INSTANTLY recognize as one of the ways elections are rigged or stolen.
* Computers (robots) stealing electronic votes
* Gremlins engaging in ballot irregularities
* Cartoon characters voting
* Dead people voting
* Pets voting
* People voting multiple times
What else seemingly keeps happening, every single election, and makes the news briefly every once in a while that YOU associate with “voter fraud”?

URGENT WARNING: Do Not Under Any Circumstances Early Vote In Illinois — Electronic Voting Not Secure In This State
If you live in the state of Illinois, do not ever early vote — the electronic voting machines in this state are not secure and entities are manipulating computers to rig elections through complex slights of hand (or keyboard and lever, as the case may be).
I’m sure you’re shocked, right? Voter fraud in Illinois, of all places? Next thing you know, somebody will tell you John F. Kennedy owed his presidency to this kind of smoke-filled-room and cemetery-friendly sort of thing.
There’s a woman here in Chicagoland who I — honest to goodness — believe will one day be written about in history books alongside Mercy Otis Warren, Harriet Tubman, Amelia Earhart, Jane Adams, and Susan B. Anthony; this woman is fearless and one of the few people I’ve ever met who made me stand back and think, “Wow…I just met somebody who they’re going to make a movie about someday…and whoever gets to play her in it is going to walk home with the Academy Award, hands-down”.
She’s a dynamo named Sharon Meroni who began a one-woman crusade against Voter Fraud in Illinois — which is clearly one of — if not the — most corrupt states in the union, where every trick imaginable is employed to tilt elections to the permanent political class’ pre-determined results.
This fraud is bipartisan, folks, as the permanent political class envelopes both sides of the political aisle and corrupt Republicans turn blind eyes to the election-rigging committed by Democrats while the Democrats are busy doing the same thing for Republicans in races the two parties agreed ahead of time they’d each win…so entrenched political power players are forever guaranteed re-election so they can maintain their aristocratic stranglehold on this state.

It’s a gorgeous Sunday in the fall and you’re reading about politics. You clearly love this country and are appalled by all the Left has done since the beginning of the Obama presidency to harm America. You know something must be done to defeat the Left once and for all…but you’re frustrated the Cocktail Party GOP establishment is forever terrified of really challenging the Left on anything.
You’ve heard stories about the dead voting in Chicago for decades…probably longer than you’ve even been alive. You know cartoon characters and other imaginary beings voted in Ohio in the 2008 election, and of course they voted for Obama. You may have seen Gigi Gaston’s documentary on voter fraud, We Will Not Be Silenced 2008. You know voter fraud happens every election in this country, and you are well aware it is enabled and fostered by George Soros and his Secretaries of State Project.
I am sure, like me, you’ve felt overwhelmed and helpless…and you’ve been exasperated by the fact that the Republican Party at large has never seemed to have any interest whatsoever in stopping voter fraud…either because the GOP is so scared of being called RAAACIST by the media for demanding strict oversight of the ballot box or because the Cocktail Party likes keeping its options open in relation to fraud in case it ever wants to start stealing elections itself.
Recently, I met a woman named Sharon Meroni who I believe is going to be in the history books alongside Upton Sinclair as Harriet Beecher Stowe…as a quiet, unassuming person whose work led to massive reform in this country. I have no idea what I can do to help her, but I’m going to schedule time every day to start figuring that out and to start getting involved with her organization, DEFEND THE VOTE.
I want to become a Vote Defender and I hope in short time the Illinois Board of Elections will know me well, since I intend to join Meroni’s quest to eliminate voter fraud in the most corrupt state in the union.
Starting in the most fraud-riddled city in the country: Chicago.
I urge you to start following Defend the Vote every day and to join me in becoming both a Vote Defender and an expert on the elections process.
I came to the realization in 2008, after witnessing the thuggery and intimidation tactics the Obama campaign used to commit massive fraud in that election — which the permanent political class on both sides of the aisle knew about, but did nothing about –, that neither political party would ever address voter fraud from the top down.
It’s not a sexy issue. The reading required to become expert on the subject is dry, challenging, and quite boring to most people. The project is inherently frustrating and extremely time-consuming…and the political parties on both sides will fight reform tooth and nail.
The only way voter fraud is going to be eliminated in this country is for people to work at the grassroots level to expose this corruption and the mechanisms of fraud and create an environment where both parties will be forced to end decades of ballot tampering and election gaming so that Americans can believe in the fairness and integrity of our elections again.
I want my life to be about three things:
1. Defeating the Left
2. Decimating the Cocktail Party GOP establishment
3. Defending the Vote
I don’t know what I can do, just yet, or how I can best help, but today I’m going to start the legwork to find out.
I’m going to document what I learn, and the progress I make, here on HillBuzz.org so others in the Resistance can follow along and learn with me…and teach me what you know too.
I am starting at square one in terms of my knowledge about how, exactly, voter fraud happens in this country and who both orchestrates and allows it. I know it’s happening, because I saw Obama surrogates and acolytes engage in it, but I’ve never understood how they got away with it and why it seems every election the same problems keep happening, but are never resolved…since most people never worry about voter fraud until a few weeks before elections when it might already be too late to do anything about the fraud the Left has planned that year.
Aren’t you tired of this garbage?
I spent the majority of this year in and out of the hospital, so sick I thought I was going to die at times. When I was at my sickest, and I most wanted to just give up and slip away, I honestly thought about the 2012 elections and I asked God to let me hang on just long enough to do SOMETHING that would have some kind of impact, something that could make life more difficult for the Left and contribute in my own way to removing the Leftists and Cocktail Party establishment types in our government from power.
Ever since I heard about what Sharon Meroni has been doing here in Chicago, I’ve wanted to get involved somehow…and this morning at early mass it just hit me, in an overpowering and forceful way, that I need to personally start educating myself about what Defend the Vote is doing and become a VOTE DEFENDER myself.
And in doing so, I need to share my journey with all of YOU so that YOU can be part of this too…and figure out how you can get others to make defending the vote and combating voter fraud a part of their daily lives as well.
Sometimes, it feels like forever since I did anything right, or accomplished something that truly matters. I don’t want to squander this second chance at life that God granted me, or to waste the opportunity I have in front of me now that I’m finally well enough to really commit to a major project like this.
But, I really and truly believe what Sharon Meroni is starting here in Chicago will eventually be replicated coast to coast…and in a few years, voter fraud will be eliminated in this country because the American Resistance will see to it that is most certainly eliminated. Once and for all, with neither Democrats nor Republicans ever able to tamper with votes EVER AGAIN.
I want to be part of this…and I ask you to consider accepting the mission to become a Vote Defender too.

Eloise Gerson’s letter to the Chicago Board of Elections regarding Defend the Vote
For those of you who don’t recognize the name, Eloise Gerson is a real firecracker — the take-no-prisoners, tell-it-like-it-is, Chair of the Chicago GOP…which is a separate entity from the Cook County GOP (and the statewide Illinois GOP).
Gerson is fearless and quite often stands up to members of her own party, in addition to letting Democrats have it at every turn.
Here’s a letter she wrote to the Chicago Board of Elections in June regarding the efforts of Defend the Vote, the organization here in Illinois that’s taken up the challenge of auditing the election process in this state to expose all the hidden mechanisms of fraud Democrats have built into the processes and practices of elections.
Defend the Vote is to the Chicago Machine what Elliot Ness’ accounting friend was to Al Capone’s criminal enterprise.
None of what it does is sexy. All of it is time-consuming and governed by arcane minutia.
But it’s going to be what brings the Left down in this supposedly-blue state (that only falls into Democrat hands statewide because of Cook County’s vote tallies and one or two stolen votes in every precinct, that add up across the state to tilt elections into Democrats’ hands).
If Defend the Vote can make progress in the most corrupt of states in terms of voter fraud…just think what a similar group could do in your own state to send the Left into apoplectic fits there.
It’s a tough and long read, I know. And none of this stuff is easy to understand at first blush.
But, this is a marvelous start that’s rattling Democrats here in Illinois so much that rumor has it Attorney General Lisa Madigan’s losing sleep over Defend the Vote’s efforts. She’s certainly throwing more staff at all this than one letter from Eloise Gerson would otherwise warrant.
Things are going to get much, much more interesting with all of this as we slouch closer towards November.

Defend the Vote is an organization here in Illinois founded to empower citizens to protect the integrity of elections.
Shockingly, many Americans believe “somebody” is making sure the Left doesn’t tamper with elections results, using Big Labor, the Black Panthers, or other George Soros-funded goon squads to commit massive voter fraud. The unions in particular are engaged heavily in election tampering, since the unions need to elect Democrats to office so Democrats can ensure the unions bleed taxpayers for as much as possible in various union contracts.
Illinois is arguably the most corrupt state in the union when it comes to elections.
If Defend the Vote can audit the election process here in the belly of the curropt-o-beast, then perhaps we can be a test case for the rest of the nation to follow to TAKE BACK OUR ELECTIONS from the Leftist crooks who have gamed the system.
