STUNNING: Are you following Christopher Coates' testimony regarding the Justice Department's dismissal of charges against the Black Panthers?

Posted on September 24, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

You need to follow what’s happening with Christopher Coates’ testimony regarding the Justice Department’s dismissal of charges against the Black Panthers.

The Obama 2008 campaign relied heavily on ACORN, the Black Panthers, the SEIU, and other union thugs to intimidate voters, fill voter rolls with fraudulent names, and engage in every dirty trick Democrats could come up with to ensure their new living god was elected president.

Since Obama took office, Attorney General Eric Holder has instituted a policy where black people are not to be prosecuted for the crimes they commit in the Voting Right realm.  There is currently an official policy in the Justice Department that declares the color of a person’s skin determines whether or not that person will be prosecuted for federal crimes.

We wonder what Martin Luther King, Jr. would say about that.

Shouldn’t the content of someone’s character be what makes the Justice Department decide whether to prosecute or not?

Eric Holder needs to be removed as Attorney General.

Yet again, we’re in a situation where we know the GOP does not have the strength, courage, or determination to speak up and shout Holder out of office.

Regular Americans coast to coast need to take a hard look at what’s going on in the Justice Department and begin a grassroots, groundswell demand for the current administration to clean house…starting with Holder’s removal.

This testimony from Coates today is stunning stuff.  It’s inexcusable, and Holder must be removed from office.

I’ve been playing try-to-keep-up all day. Coates’ testimony needs to be heard by everyone. These people are using our tax dollars against us–at the polls and in our streets. No American should be above the law, and I don’t care what color your skin is or what country you came from (legally) or what the make up of your body happens to be. Equal protection under the law.

    EQUAL protection. Period.

I agree. I read his statement, and I was truly flabbergasted by what happened down South. I don’t care if my people were discriminated in the past before the Civil Rights movement, they darn well better practice what they preach rather than engage in such antics when in power!

(A BIG thank you to Chrissy, for rescuing my ‘Daily Thread’ post about this).

    YES!!!

I watched (online, CSPAN 1 during lunch).

Wow. Stunning…Coates was an amazing, unflappable witness. He didn’t (during the time I watched) refer to his notes; he spoke with great clearity and conviction.

Michael Yaki, the ‘interogator’ (for lack of a better term) is a acolyte of Nancy Pelosi. He was talking over Coates answers; making faces (from what I saw) and just being an ass trying to throw Coates off w/strawman type argument.

Here is the Fox link to the story:

    http://www.c-spanvideo.org/program/295638-1

Now…for back story, I will post (separately a thread I also found over at FR) the credentials of Mr. Coates (he has won awards, was a former ACLU attorney…his ‘liberal’ cred is solid) that further addresses who is who in this case.

The big item is what did Obama know and when did he know it? Honest. It is that far up the chain of command. Holder should be tendering his resignation, and from what I have read, if this does go to Barky (marching order) THIS IS an impeachable (high crime) offense.

    Stunning isn’t it…

“Michael Yaki, the ‘interogator’ (for lack of a better term) is a acolyte of Nancy Pelosi.”

You don’t know half the irony of that statement. Yaki is a former San Francisco stupidvisor! He was an utter loser, though by comparison, fairly competent (you do not understand how far left our local politics are), and seems to have gained at least 100 pounds.

Just to add to the flavor of the story that it reaches the white house.

      http://biggovernment.com/abreitbart/2010/09/24/which-malik-shabazz-visited-white-house-in-july-2009-mr-president/

We just need to connect the dots somehow………..

Here is the link to the Free Republic thread that I mentioned:

    http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2595438/posts

Alot of back story about Yaki (his relationship to Pelosi); Coates credentials; Adams (the other DOJ attorney whistleblower); the relocation of Coates to South Carolina (to get him out of the DOJ office in question’s jurisdiction). Alot of ugly stuff that has to lead to Holder…and Duh Won.

    • Mary Quite-Contrary says:
      2010/09/24 at 5:37 pm

By the way…go to FR thread post number 205 (by maggief) she posted a timeline, with a link to breitbart’s site. Of great interest is that MALIK SHABAZZ (could it be the one/won of ‘kill some cracker babies’ fame) is featured in the timeline as a VISITOR TO THE PRIVATE RESIDENCE AT THE WHITE HOUSE.

      This is beyond huge.

      • Jane in Chicago says:
        2010/09/24 at 6:28 pm

Actually Malik Shabazz is the leader of the new black panthers.

The “Cracker Baby” guy is King Shamir Shabazz.

I can see where the confusion comes in and it still is a direct connection to the Black Panthers.

    • Sharon the Other says:
      2010/09/24 at 5:56 pm

The fact that Coates is a credible guy and that Adams was the initial whistleblower seems to indicate this might not just blow over or be swept under the rug as the dems desperately hope (and need) it to. Even if it doesn’t lead to Dr. Utopia, I would be satisfied with Holder getting the boot!
Holder as AG = danger to every US citizen from both foreign AND domestic enemies. He needs to go.

  • Ten says:
    2010/09/24 at 5:15 pm

Isn’t this illegal …. I mean seriously, why isn’t it illegal, why are there no charges being filed, and why isn’t the Obama Administration being held accountable?

Ultimately, since Obama’s presence alone is damaging to Democrats up for re-election, will the Democratic party throw him under the bus (as he has done so many others), and agree to impeachment proceedings due to widespread fraud?

    • Mary Quite-Contrary says:
      2010/09/24 at 5:20 pm

This is the first step to the whole ball unraveling with the voter intimidation, caught on film, in Philadelphia.

That is why November is so important…if the Republicans take the House, they will have subpoena power to bring this to a Congressional hearing.

Coates and Adams are incredibly brave and honorable to step forward in this hostile venue…but this is ‘baby step’ number one.

    • Adell Nuelander says:
      2010/09/24 at 9:16 pm

Doubt it seriously but it is a very sweet dream.

Rumor has it, Dems were hoping that the Colbert “testimony” would make this a non-news item. Instead, I think the Dems ended up with lots of egg on their face for the Colbert stunt (if I was a Republican running for Congress I would use this stunt to the max.) and this pesky voter intimidation case just keeps rearing it’s ugly head. Last time it was the head of a swamp monster, this time I hope it’s the head of The Kraken!

The head of the Black Panthers is Malik Shabazz. The guy who was a defendant was King Samir Shabazz.

    • Bijou says:
      2010/09/24 at 9:21 pm

This is HUGE! Does Breitbart never sleep? Love. Him.

      From the BigGov piece:
“In July 2010, J. Christian Adams, former attorney in the Civil Rights Division of the Dept. of Justice, testified before the U. S. Commission on Civil Rights that Obama Appointee Julie Fernandes, deputy assistant attorney general in the Civil Rights Division in charge of voting matters, told DOJ attorneys charged with enforcing Voters’ Rights Law that the Obama administration WOULD NOT FILE election-related cases AGAINST MINORITY DEFENDANTS – no matter the alleged violation of law.”

      Here’s Adams’ timeline:
      * July 8, Representative Frank Wolf sent a letter to Judiciary Chairman John Conyers and Ranking Member Lamar Smith demanding hearings before the House Judiciary Committee.
      * July 9, Ten members of the House sent a letter demanding the DOJ Inspector General open an investigation.
      * July 13, The Dept. of Justice replied but their letter contained factual inaccuracies about the case
      * July 17 Smith and Wolf send a swift and pointed rebuttal
      * July 20, Low-level DOJ staffers were sent to the Hill to brief Wolf on the Panther story, but Wolf threw them out of his office claiming they weren’t being truthful to him.
      * July 22, Wolf sent another letter to Attorney General Eric Holder demanding answers.
      * July 24, Portia Robinson, intergovernmental liaison at DOJ, sent a letter to the Civil Rights Commission trying to deflect attention.
      * July 25, a man named Malik Shabazz visited the exclusive, private residence in the White House.
      * July 30, the Washington Times broke the news that top political appointee, Tom Perrelli (the #3 official at Justice) was involved in the dismissal of the case. Perrelli was also a top campaign bundler for Obama.

“The White House has assured the American people that the Malik Shabazz that visited the White House at that time is NOT THE SAME MALIK SHABAZZ at the center of the New Black Panther story.”

Well, of course not. There must be at least DOZENS of Malik Shabazzes walking around Washington, D.C. with business at the White House, in the RESIDENCE./s

Go back to 16 July 1972, remember these words…”Mr. Butterfield, are you aware of the installation of any listening devices in the Oval Office of the president?”….and see just EXACTLY the whole mess comes undone. This feels precisely how it felt that day so long ago. The beginning of the end, then for Richard Nixon, probably now to Barrack Obama. History does repeat itself!

Because the comments always show up…and the person complaining looks foolish because all the comments appear, including the one complaining about them being eaten. It’s not cute. Try searching the big news websites. I couldn’t find any mention of it on the main CNN or MSNBC sites. I finally searched their sites for “Christopher Coates” and came up with articles buried way down in the politics section. Anybody think this would have been front and center on the main page if a DOJ whistle-blower had criticism about a Republican administration?! Remember how a scandal was created about the Bush admin. firing a bunch of its own political appointee DOJ lawyers?

Even Fox has it tucked away under Politics. Stephen Colbert’s idiotic performance at the Congressional hearing and Lindsay Lohan going back to jail have been pushed up front.

    • Ted Drunk says:

I think Lindsay Lohan is a paid Democrat operative whose almost monthly buffoonery is used to keep anti-Obama stories off the front page.

Christopher Coates provided powerful public testimaony of the politicalization of the Justice Department under AG Holder. holder, Fernandez and Perez were all exposed as having a part in the poitical decision to dismiss the New Black Panther Party voter intimidation charges as well as denying equal justice to all races under federal Voter Rights Laws. Holder, Perez and Fernandez should be fired and faced legal prosecution for violations of the law.

      • Jill v2 says:
        2010/09/24 at 6:54 pm

Actually, he mentioned it on the Fox & Friends Morning Show. However, Geraldo screwed up his discussion of it. He confused J. Christian Adams, the guy who quite the DOJ so he could testify weeks ago about this with his former boss, Christopher Coates who defied the DOJ orders to testify today. As a result, Geraldo left the impression that Coates was a conservative activist who has testified several times trying to “keep the story alive”. Perhaps this was an accident on his part, but it was shoddy journalism on his part. For the record, Mr. Coates was a Clinton appointee.

        • Moe says:
          2010/09/24 at 7:00 pm

Nothing Geraldo says is an accident. He thinks Casey Anthony’s attorney is a great lawyer because he’s Hispanic, the guy is a bubling idiot. Geraldo is a race baiter too.

    Couple of points:
    1. Tom Perez is from my corner of Maryland and he is Mr. La Raza and big on drivers’ licenses for all…and benefits…and special programs… you get the picture.
    2. Perez has been caught out in perjury after the Coates testimony.
    3. Wait until it suits start to fly if J. Christian Adams or Coates does files a hostile work environment EEOC suit, should the current effort fizzle. [Last resort, but the powder is dry]
    4. The timing of the firing at CNN and NBC is very interesting. It took away steam from the DOJ story, but also makes for a better environment to tell the truth. Over at Canada Free Press a year ago or so, a story broke about how media journos and their bosses basically were told to go along with the Soros talking points or get taken down. According to the same source, an independent investigator took depositions from several of the journalists and kept the records outside of the US. Could it be they are escaping from their bondage? Even making the depositions were quite cloak and dagger, according to the source. Furthermore, at one of the alphabet networks everyone was called into a meeting, given the direction, then all records/agenda’s/etc. were collected. One secretary managed to save a hard copy. Even his/her hard drive had the source doc deleted. Weird, if true. Somehow, I suspect it was.

Might I just say again, ‘Thank God for Sarah Palin!!’ She gave many the strength to forge onward, when so many were on the Obama train. Beck has also become a national treasure, IMO.
