Stop With The Fear Porn. Stop With The Poll Porn. WE ARE WINNING.

Posted on November 3, 2012 by TheTamminator // Hillbuzz

I’m visiting my Mom this weekend, and the first thing she said to me this morning was, “CBS said that Obama was way ahead of Romney in the polls!”  I promptly said, “Stop with the polls, Mother!  They are LYING to you!”

Now, you have to understand that I have been coaching my Mom for MONTHS to stop paying attention to the damn polls, explaining to her that they are all lies.  Most of the time she’ll enthusiastically call me on the phone and say, “I just saw another one of those stupid polls, and I turned the TV off immediately!”  My response is usually, “Good for you, Mom, you’re not getting sucked in by the lying media.  Keep it up!”

The only problem is, she keeps turning on the “tee vee”, as Kevin puts it, and hears the same thing over and over again, and even though she doesn’t know it, she’s being brainwashed by the doom and gloom scenario that the corrupt media is trying to paint for her.  I’ve studied this at length, folks, and it’s called brain reticulation.  When you hear something repeatedly, it sticks in your brain and you can’t get it out.  It’s like that Bandaid commercial song, “I am stuck on bandaid, cuz bandaid’s stuck on me”.  I bet you’re already humming the tune, because that song was played on every Bandaid commercial that aired for years and years, and it sticks in your brain.  It’s brainwashing, pure and simple.

Kevin has been talking about this for weeks, but you have GOT TO TURN OFF THE TEE VEE and stop what-iffing  and fretting and worrying about this election.  We are going to win, and win big, and the best thing you can do with your time is to go to a call center and help make that last pitch to those dumb dumbs who might be staying home, and tell them to get off their butts and vote!

You can even do this from home if you want.  Go here and do it:  Do it NOW.

I’m not asking you to do this because I think we’re losing.  I’m asking you to do this to:   A)  Keep your mind off of the doom and gloom B) Give you something positive to do which will make YOU a part of this win  C)  To get so many voters out for Romney that we win bigger than Reagan did in 1980 and “84.

Mom just yelled to me from the other room. “They’re doing it again!  They say Obama is winning, so I turned the channel!”  She doesn’t know it yet, but I’m dragging her down to the Republican headquarters tomorrow so that she can make calls with me.  If you have a Mom like mine, or Justin’s Mom, Mary Ann, the best thing you can do is get them out of the house and get them busy doing something positive.  I brought my Mom to a tea party meeting here in her home town several months ago, and now she’s hooked, and she can’t wait for those monthly meetings.  It makes her feel like she’s a part of something positive for America.  And she IS.

That’s the only way to combat this negative crap that they spew out of the “tee vee” every day.  And let me tell you, the energy in the call room at our Republican headquarters is palpable.  These volunteers are so revved up for this win that sometimes I think these people are going to jump out of their chairs and start singing “God Bless America”, they are so excited.

Since I’ve been tracking down all of the Romney ads for you so that you don’t have to waste your time doing it, here is his latest ad.  If this doesn’t lift up your spirits, then nothing will.  We are winning, people.  Stay positive.  Stay focused and most of all, do not lose faith for one stinking minute.  Romney has been called to lead this country, and damn it, he’s gonna do it!  Rejoice!

AND IF THAT AD DIDN’T GET YOU, DIDN’T BLOW YOUR SOCKS OFF, THEN CHECK YOUR PULSE!

Agree 100%. Rush said on his show the other day this exact same thing, that we should turn off the TV (or the MSM) until after the polls close.

I won’t even watch Fox, because even there they have leftist commentators and some conservatives who aren’t always so positive.

So no Sunday talk shows or any of that for me. Just keeping up to date on election news here and other sites that are staying positive.

Barry is only drawing crowds of about 4000 in Ohio where he had 80,000 four years ago. We are definitely winning. :)

I do not watch ANY TV news including Fox… Period. And that’s all the time, not just during election periods.

Both were beautiful. The bottom one really made an impression, especially the last frame where Romney looks down, seemingly humbled by the opportunity. Such a difference from Obama who is constantly seen with his head up as if in defiance and superiority.

Can’t wait for election night! I have faith that people will support Romney and Ryan and the Republicans in unprecedented numbers so we can start getting America back to the great country it once was.

I love the momentum on our side! It’s fantastic! I do have a question for everyone – we’re hearing a lot of these stories about people casting votes for Romney and the machine changing it to Obama. Anyone think that could hurt us or cause us to lose a state or do you think the momentum is so palpable on our side that this won’t affect? Just curious. Romney Ryan 2012!!!

Kevin! I’m alarmed! I just found this on DailyKos, as “breaking.” Some of the post-ers are saying things like people have died, and there are papers pending in a court somewhere that they (the post-ers) have submitted. I do not in any way believe Gov. Romney has done what they are saying, but holy cow, we sure don’t need a “surprise” at this point! (I can’t even really understand exactly what happened, but it sounds to me like Gov. Romney wasn’t involved in Bain at that time. But like they think and think they can prove that he was. Or something. I don’t know. It’s very confusing to me, but they are SALIVATING over it, and planning to take it public and huge asap.

      Dierdre –

First off, don’t go to Daily Kos. It’s a bad place. That’s where the crazies really let the crazy loose.

      Second, this is fear porn.

Nothing else is coming out about anyone.

The last day to drop anything and have it impact the race was Thursday (two days ago).

There will be no new relevations.

I’m d_mn tired of the poll porn. I’m tired of every site being taken over by these leftie trolls saying how we’re all delusional because of “the polls.” They can’t even listen to logic- if Obama’s really up 5% here in Ohio, why is he buying so much airtime here? Just tired of it all. On Nov. 6, it’s going to be fun to see if they still comment on “the polls.”

It’s been my observation that Romney’s ads are reminiscient of Reagan’s 1984 ad “Morning in America.” I’m only 30, so I don’t know how that played out- but people are drawn to optimism, not “revenge by voting.” Obama’s trying to copy that… I’ve seen some ads by him now trying to sound civil (and taking credit for creating FIVE MILLION JOBS rflol).

The 1984 election turned out well. Reagan won.

Correction… Reagan didn’t win in ’84- he trounced Mondale. 49 states… it would be grand if we could do that.

I’m old enough to have worked very hard and consistently on the Reagan 1980 campaign at county hq. We didn’t have the luxury of internet in those days and had to rely on what we were “told” in the newspapers. So election night 1980 we turned on the TV ready for a long night because, don’t you know they were neck-and-neck, only to have the election declared for Reagan somewhere around 6:30-7. And I’ll never forget that initial shock we felt before starting to jump all over the place. Sure would be nice to have that happen again….

KDJ… if MR wins Florida and Virginia then it’s over. FL and VI were lost causes in 2008. They are bellwether states and will reveal the mood of the rest of the nation… FL certainly has for years. If MR wins it by 5+ points, the night’s a landslide.

I have been expecting November Scandal Week events but nothing has happened. I am disappointed in Chicago, I really thought they’d throw something up by Thursday. MR probably told them “Make My Day” and they chose to not bother…

I feel there is more to that game-changer “news” by Trump than what we are being told. I feel MR is holding that info as leverage against Chicago. It would be over for Chicago if Trump revealed what he has. MR doesn’t want total collapse of the presidential office at this point, though it would assure him election. Since he’s confident of it he’s staying quiet and letting the nation stay even keel. Revelations of O’s many scandals can drip out next year.

Anyway, I can’t wait to get my mental state back… if there is any left.

Went to a family get-together last night (from Mississippi, and were over for a family gospel sing….not many Obama supporters in that group). Anyway, the older family members were all fretting that Obama would probably win the election.

They all get their news from the 5:30 nightly news. Not surprised they’re pessimistic.

I love that Red Rocks rally video! I was somewhere in that crowd. One of the priests at my church was one who had to walk from town, 2-4 miles to the rally.
