Smug Smackdown
When I woke up this morning and saw the special election results from the Congressional races in New York and Nevada, I knew that this was the beginning of the end for the Obama regime.
Congressional seat NY 09 was won by a Republican for the first time in NINETY YEARS, and if that isn’t a sign that “we the people” are fed up with this arrogant administration, I don’t know what is.
Some conservative pundits are saying that the seat was won because of Jewish voters who are tired of Obama’s anti-Israel policies.
Others say that the unions stayed home for this election.
Even the Democrats, like Debbie Wasserman Schultz are blatantly lying, saying that this was a “difficult district for Democrats”.
Yeah, right, Deb. And I suppose you’re going to try to sell me that Brooklyn bridge, too.
But I have a different take on this election.
I think this was a vote against smugness.
Average Americans have had enough of this smug, self-approving Democratic regime, and they are now getting off their couches, putting down their Pepsi’s and heading to the voting booth.
We’ve had enough of being told to eat our peas and make a few sacrifices while the President of our country jets around on one vacation after another.
We’re sick of being told how brilliant the President is by sycophantic, tingley-legged propagandists like Chris Matthews.
We are angry when we see the First Lady making snide remarks about our flag at a memorial service for victims of the worst terrorist attack in our country’s history.
And we’re tired of a White House that talks down to the American people like we’re bratty children needing to be scolded.
Was this Republican win a foreshadowing of what’s to come in 2012?
You bet your ass it was.
If there’s anything the American people hate, it’s a smug politician. And the superior, self-satisfied Obama White House is the epitome of smugness.
Looking down at the American people is not going to get you re-elected.
It’s going to get you a spot in the unemployment line, right next to all of those “little people” that you’ve looked down on for the past 3 years.
As a tea party terrorist SOB, I could be feeling a little smug about the election results in New York and Nevada right now.
But I don’t feel smug.
Instead, I feel determined.
Determined to take this incompetent President and his evil regime down.
One.
Seat.
At.
A.
Time.

Little Debbie says "this is a hard district for Democrats". Really???? Dems have occupied this office since 1922. Doesn't sound too hard to me! I love to see all these rats scurrying around trying to cover their failing status!
You have to say that it's "hard" in order to explain away this unexplainable result. She's either completely clueless or think that the rest of the public is clueless. I take the former.

A wise friend told me we have to treat this like we're running a race, and we're behind. Sounds like a good mindset going forward…from victory to landslide!

We scare the current administration, the Democrats/Socialists/Communists, all leftist media, because they can neither define nor comprehend who we really are. Because it is too simple for them to grasp the truth…we are everyone! As citizens of the U.S.A., we are young, old, religious or not, members of the Tea Party, Republican, Democrat, Independent, Libertarian, black, white, rich, poor, and everything in between.
My FB, which is filled with libs who spew their politics, some everyday, several times a day, without even asking or checking if you enjoy their diatribes. These people are quiet today…Hahaha. If I were like them, I'd spew my joy today, but I am not. I am not narcissistic like them assuming they would enjoy or narcissistic enough to want to annoy them for fun.

I think what she said was, "All this for folding a flag?" More than what she said, the disgusted look on her face said VOLUMES more. All she needed to do was roll her eyes a little more. I guess nobody explained to Moochelle that when she's in PUBLIC the cameras are rolling and people will record when she makes these kinds of snide comments. Guess she would have enjoyed the ceremony more if they had hip-hop artists instead of the more traditional bagpipes.

This win by the Repubican Pary candidate in this particular district is a direct hit on the assumption that being Jewish, or Catholic for that matter automatically makes you a Liberal, a Leftist, and thus a member of the Democrat Party.
Sure bunks the idea of political party as a religion!
I was reading about this from Politico to see what other kind of BS the media will be spewing in response to this and here is what a democratic representative from CA, Henry Waxman, said about us.
“The Republicans want us to repeal the 20th century, the New Deal, the Fair Deal, to turn us back to the robber barons running the country, and to eviscerate the environmental and other regulations to protect public health and safety,” said Waxman. “And to cut spending in ways that would be very harmful to people who rely on government.”
Wow. Shocker. More scare tactics? More living in a fantasy world where everything comes crashing down and cars come to screeching halts as soon as someone stands up and says ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
Henry Waxman should be called out for his fear mongering the same way the left tries to paint conservatives as monsters (we're not as evil as you think you know?) I'm ashamed to be a part of the state he represents… It's things like this that make me anxious to move!
That is my "hope." I so wish that to be the case. And by the way, obama: leave the pen there. It ain't yours!
Have you guys seen the lead on Drudge? It's a picture of obama standing by the Wailing Wall. He wants to show that he's in support of Israel? How about being a real Christian? You want to show that you're in support of Israel? How about not being an apologist for every islamic extremist out there? How about not seeking Israel's destruction?
This guy's motivation is so transparent, I'm certain that the NYT article will backfire.
