Scott Brown needs to deliver Republican State of the Union rebuttal

Posted on January 19, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

Michelle Malkin posted this idea, and we want to run with it.

Let’s advocate this far and wide:  give the GOP rebuttal to Dr. Utopia’s State of the Union address to Scott Brown after he wins the Massachusetts Senate seat.

The GOP has picked such losers to deliver these remarks in the past, like Bobby Jindal, who stuttered and stammered through his address like Kenneth the Paige on 30 Rock.

Either Scott Brown or Sarah Palin should deliver this address…and with all due respect to Palin, whom we love, you know that, but we think Brown has earned this right for taking back ‘The Kennedy Seat’ for the people of Massachusetts.

If Brown gives this address, heads will explode.  Heads of people we don’t like.

Give. Scott. Brown. That. Speech.

I was in some crazy @$$ forum just now, blaming Martha for loosing, not asking What made Scott win?

Some of the loosers didn’t know who Brown was/is. Everybody knows who Sarah is.

Let Brown introduce himself to the American Public.

      YEAH SCOTT!!!

I said this already in the previous string but it bears repeating: it’s an excellent idea, and if Galvin, Patrick, Reid, Rahm, etc., are still conspiring at that point to keep him away from the Senate — then it would be incredible!

I second the motion, but in honor of the truth if it wasn’t for Sarah Palin and the Tea party and town halls people, this health care debacle would have never happened. And Scott Brown would have never been close to take the “Kennedy Seat”.

Maybe the GOP picks another loser like Mitt Romney or even Tim Pawlenty.

I honestly am not sure he’d say yes; he seems like the kind of guy who would finish out his term before doing anything else. The MA voters are kinda taking a chance on voting for an R, and I think a lot of them might feel he’d done a cut-n-run if he left his hard-fought seat after only 2 years.

      Just my opinion.

      Katie,

Sarah will not pick a pro choice for her VP. The Christian base would be pissed. I see a Palin/Rubio ticket landslide!

I live in the buckle of the Bible belt, and I’ll tell you, I don’t think the VP’s choice position would be a factor to most of the Christian base.

If the Dems try to pull any delaying tactics, and Brown hasn’t been seated by the 27th, then they DEFINITELY need to have him give the response, because then EVERYONE will be able to see them for the cheating so-and-sos they really are.

I guarantee you that Brown will be delivering that speech. However, he may decline the opportunity.

In addition you can vote as such at Gretawire.com She has a poll with that exact question.

It should be Paul Ryan.. easy.. Brown is great but the guy just took over the seat. Nothing like telling the rest of the World the party has nobody else but a newbie to make the speech. Ryan needs to get more face time and this would definitely help.
