I am personally devasted and am allowing myself to feel this way for a bit.

But, then I plan on taking the fight forward to defeat Obama. I will now have to rethink who I am behind. It won't be easy replacing Gov Palin as my pick. :(

I respect Sarah's decision. She will be a warrior on a different level now. And as I always told my kids, "different is good"!

So absolutely sad about this. I suppose Cain's my favorite now. Any of the others just mean a slower path to disaster than if 0bama was re-elected.

I feel she was amazing as a VP candidate and had a great record. I wish she had focused on being a great Governor for 8 years (or run for Senate) and come out of the woodwork a few times to get new candidates on the ballot or attack the left.

She should focus on her family now, or join a policy group as she need more substance.

I guess I can't blame Sarah…I mean look what happened to Bristol in a bar just out having fun.
I wish she was running, but I think she can kick backside & help someone else (my choice will be Herman Cain)
Sarah has a big voice & will have plenty to say as time goes on.
    Now I will go mope a bit…

As it went longer and longer, the less I figured she'd jump in. I guess that's to see I halfway anticipated this.

Very, very sad. Sarah was MY candidate. I’m not crazy about the present crop of GOP candidates. I liked Cain–until he mouthed off about that stupid Perry “rock” story without even having all the facts in order. His reaction leads me to believe he is yet another candidate who puts race first.

The "rock" story is the media writing the narrative! He didn't come out and make a big deal about it – he was asked a question, he answered it – and that's all you heard about it! The LSM is trying to write the narrative – don't fall for it!

    Shoot.

I'm disappointed, for sure. But I didn't see indications of her developing detailed policy positions, and I'd've had a hard time voting for her without them, even in the primary.

And as she said about the Tea Party, the country does not depend on one person alone. It's still up to us, "We the People".

I am not sad. These are tears of fury. The bad guys have won. The Matt Taibbis and the Imus's and the Mike Tysons – and all the other vile despicable people in the media. And the jerks in the Republican party. They've doomed themselves. Fools.

People get the government they deserve – they have voted it in – and it's a tragedy. There is nothing that will save us now. #occupywallstreet is the new face of America. Disgusting.

I feel the same way. I am having trouble dealing with the anger I feel right now. I thought the worst person in my life was Jimmy Carter but Obama is now the grand winner. He has eliminated the one and only REAL opponent he had in this election. Just as he has for every election. Him and his minions and screechers and haters are running this country and I'm not sure we will ever get it back. This is a horrible thing: having the LSM and the president's minions eliminate presidential candidates.

Bummed. But at least now my wallet won't be lighter (had a $1,000 earmarked for Sarah, and Sarah only) and I won't be emotionally invested in the election. If Sarah had decided to run I would have been with her 110%. If she had run and lost think I would have needed grief counseling. Now I don't care. Country is going to hell in a hand basket and the one leader that could have made a difference has withdrawn from the fight. So am I.

i feel the same way- it's like the world just ended- worse than election night 08. however, we shouldn't withdraw- we'll only get f*cked harder if we don't stop the press from picking our candidate for us. as someone said above: people get the government they deserve and we don't deserve this crap. and as someone quoted palin above: the country does not depend on one person alone. It's still up to us, "We the People".
but yes, feel free to hold onto that cash unless someone else manages to blow your pants off.

I suggest she get back on her knees and pray again…and wait for a different answer. I just don't trust anyone else but Sarah Palin.

I am totally bummed out. I watched the first two acts of "The Undefeated" and got all fired up because I saw the ideal person for the job of President of the United States. A person who would stand up to the good old boys on both sides of the aisle and do what was right of the people of this country. Now I don't think I will even bother watching act 3.

There is no person currently running that I can get behind and I really can't think of anyone other than Palin that I could get behind. I will vote for the winner of the nomination because anyone would be better than Obama but I will not be working for or donating to any of them.
