Ron Paul Owns Michael Moore and Larry King on “Free” Health Care

Posted on October 27, 2011 by Kathleen4HB // 2012 Elections, Tea Party

Lefty Propagandist Michael "Jabba" Moore - Hillbuzz.org

Lefty Propagandist Michael Moore

This is fun to watch. GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul owns Michael “Jabba” Moore on his quest to destroy the U.S. healthcare system.

Poor Larry King just looks fossilized in this video. It would appear that his brain has been fossilized for some time. Like most Leftists, Larry King thinks that if you don’t want the Federal government to do something, you don’t want it done. So if you don’t want the Federal government to use tax dollars to give poor people “free” medical care, you want them to die in the streets. If you don’t want the Federal government to fund the Department of Education, you want innocent American school children to go uneducated and turn into a nation of drooling, dumpster-diving urchins.  (Because the government education system does such a good job, dontcha know.) Useful idiots, both of them.

You’re welcome, Athena. It’s an old clip, but what I love about it is that GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul refuses to be pulled into the Leftist argument that if you don’t want to use tax dollars for something, that you’re an eeeeeeevil raaaaaaaacist who is in favor of air pollution, and wants to see old ladies to die on the sidewalk, children starve to death, etc. Cocktail Party GOP nitwits like Romneycare actually allow the Leftists to get away with this sh*t! Romneycare, McCain, Perry…they’re all APOLOGISTS for conservatism and personal responsibility in the same way that Obummer is an apologist for America itself. It disgusts me.

Ron Paul opposes the Civil Right Act.
Opposes Israel's right to exist and US help to this country(only full democracy in the Middle East).
    Opposes the war on drugs.
Condones racism, racial discrimination and liberty for WHITES.

Carmelo, I honestly do not know what you are smoking. But keep it up. The more you rant about GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul being a RAAAAAAAAACIST the more sane and reasonable Ron Paul looks in comparison.

Ron Paul is an individualist and libertarian who stands for the Constitution, the rule of law, private property rights, keeping the Federal government from getting all up in your bidness, etc. All of his policy positions are consistent with that. For example:

Since Iowa State has a thriving homosexual community, I asked how gays fit into Paul’s philosophy of freedom. The congressman cringed at the question and shook his head in frustration.

“You know I just, I don’t think of people in little groups like that. I don’t think of people as ‘gay’ here and ‘black people’ there, or ‘women’ over here…Everybody is an individual person and everybody has the same rights as anyone else. The government has no business in your private life, you know, so if one person is allowed to do something so should everyone else. The whole gay marriage issue is a private affair and the federal government has no say.” (Ron Paul on the economy, military spending and gay rights

Yeaaaaahhhh…individualism is kind of the exact opposite of groupism, racism, sexism, etc.

Property rights and the 10th Amendment are the basis for his opposition to the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Again, thank you for the opportunity to educate others about this. Here was Ron Paul’s statement before Congress in 2004:

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 gave the federal government unprecedented power over the hiring, employee relations, and customer service practices of every business in the country. The result was a massive violation of the rights of private property and contract, which are the bedrocks of free society. The federal government has no legitimate authority to infringe on the rights of private property owners to use their property as they please and to form (or not form) contracts with terms mutually agreeable to all parties. The rights of all private property owners, even those whose actions decent people find abhorrent, must be respected if we are to maintain a free society. [...]

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 not only violated the Constitution and reduced individual liberty; it also failed to achieve its stated goals of promoting racial harmony and a color-blind society. Federal bureaucrats and judges cannot read minds to see if actions are motivated by racism. Therefore, the only way the federal government could ensure an employer was not violating the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was to ensure that the racial composition of a business’s workforce matched the racial composition of a bureaucrat or judge’s defined body of potential employees. Thus, bureaucrats began forcing employers to hire by racial quota. Racial quotas have not contributed to racial harmony or advanced the goal of a color-blind society. Instead, these quotas encouraged racial balkanization, and fostered racial strife. [...]

…while I join the sponsors of H.Res. 676 in promoting racial harmony and individual liberty, the fact is the Civil Rights Act of 1964 did not accomplish these goals. Instead, this law unconstitutionally expanded federal power, thus reducing liberty. Furthermore, by prompting raced-based quotas, this law undermined efforts to achieve a color-blind society and increased racial strife.

And seriously, where do you get this Israel stuff? Here’s an excerpt from “Israel and the Right,” from The American Conservative, May 23, 2011:

Congressman Ron Paul was also critical of Obama’s Israel policy, but from a different perspective: “While President Obama’s demand that Israel make hard concessions in her border conflicts may very well be in her long-term interest, only Israel can make that determination on her own, without pressure from the United States or coercion by the United Nations. Unlike this President, I do not believe it is our place to dictate how Israel runs her affairs.”

Paul added, “We should respect Israel’s sovereignty and not try to dictate her policy from Washington.”

This is not the first time Paul has taken this position.

When Israel attacked a nuclear reactor in Iraq in 1981 almost the entire US Congress voted to condemn the act, but Congressman Paul was one of the few Republicans who stood up and said Israel should not have to answer to America for how she defends herself.

Thanks, Carmelo, for giving me the opportunity to set the record straight.

        Kathleen

Ron Paul is an opportunist. Why? Because being a Libertarian he runs as a Republican. Ron Paul opposes US intervention in other countries, foreign aids to allies and nations in need.

You write about the raid on the Nuclear reactor in Iraq by Israel. You don't write that Congress was Democrat. Ron Paul's single stance on that raid does not entails his support for the Jewish state. His continuous attacks to US aid to the Jewish state, his constant attack to meassures to eliminate racial descrimination makes him a RACCCIST anti Semite. Insensitive WHITE man to the struggles of racial minorities in this country.

Ron Paul goes further and insists in leaving Iran alone with his possible nuclear weapons. Ron Paul stands against everything Ronald Reagan stood for: anti abortion, anti drugs, American interventionism, peace thru strenght.

Ron Paul is a RACIST thruther and a fraud.

There are times when Ron Paul has blinding flashes of common sense! He can be articulate and logical. As he is here with his discussion of health care and how no one has a "right" to someone else's services for free. But then, of course, he reverts back to being the crazy uncle that we sit at the corner of the Thanksgiving table in case he does or says something embarrassing, and we need to whisk him out of the room quickly…..

Thanks for posting this Kathleen as I do not watch CNN. I think when we hear or read of someone in the media or elsewhere call a public figure racist it is our responsibility to check facts, think critically and come to our own conclusion instead of blindly believing. This is how we got ourselves to the awful place were in now.

Yeah I agree with Penny, when he's on he's on and and completely demolish the competition. But when he's off its like Eck!. But that's the blade of libertarianism, double bladed and very sharp.
