“Racism” Officially Jumps Shark Courtesy of Eric Holder
Yeah, that’s right, Eric.
You’re being persecuted because you’re black, not because you’re corrupt, unethical, and criminally negligent, and oversaw a program that killed 300 Mexicans and Border Patrol agent Brian Terry, and then lied to Congress about it.
Justice Dept silent as Holder charges critics with racism
Attorney General Eric Holder accused his growing chorus of critics of racist motivations in a Sunday interview published in the New York Times. When reached by The Daily Caller Monday morning, the Department of Justice provided no evidence to support the attorney general’s claims.
Holder said some unspecified faction — what he refers to as the “more extreme segment” — is driven to criticize both him and President Barack Obama due to the color of their skin. Holder did not appear to elaborate on who he considered to make up the “more extreme segment.”
“This is a way to get at the president because of the way I can be identified with him,” Holder said, according to the Times. “Both due to the nature of our relationship and, you know, the fact that we’re both African-American.”

Holder’s accusations come as resignation calls mount from a growing list of 60 congressmen, two senators, every major Republican presidential candidate and two sitting governors, spurred on by the congressional investigation into Operation Fast and Furious.

Holder has said he was unaware of the operation, despite having been sent several personal memos from his top deputies and assistants. The memos contained intimate details of how Operation Fast and Furious worked. “This investigation [Fast and Furious, which is named earlier in the memo] — initiated in September 2009 in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administration, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Phoenix Police Department — involves a Phoenix-based firearms trafficking ring headed by Manuel Celis-Acosta,” one such memo that Holder was provided reads. “Celis-Acosta and straw purchasers are responsible for the purchase of 1,500 firearms that were then supplied to Mexican drug-trafficking cartels. They also have direct ties to the Sinaloa Cartel, which is suspected of providing $1 million for the purchase of firearms in the greater Phoenix area.”

Adding insult to injury, I read that the NYT doesn't even bother to identify Brian Terry by name but simply refers to him as "a Border Patrol Agent" who died!
Of course, he was just some white guy who was defending the country so it isn't like he matters to Eric Holder anyway….being that he's not one of "his people"!
Well, Mr. Holder, let me clue you in–this isn't about race at all. You seem to be of the opinion that character doesn't apply to blacks in general and you in particular and that is the demonstrable racism in this out in the open, available for all to see.

Correct, it is not about race, it's about liberals and thier sick attraction to treason. Eric Holder facilitated the Bill Clinton back door pardon of Marc Rich. This was the time I started waking up to what the democrap party really stood for-Dennis Rich's money!
And let's face it, the Mexicans who died are actually white (w/ some indigenous Asian mixed in), but mostly white. They're only a different race when it suits those using the race card.

You are so correct. It amazes me how "Latino's" allow themselves to be marginalized from the caucasian race by liberal democrats. I am Italian American. I often point out to South American immigrants that I am Latino like them. They don't seem to understand because they have been brain washed to believe they are a separate race, so I ask them, what language did the Romans speak? After a while they begin to understand. Hopefully more "latino" immigrants will see that they are being used by the race baiting democrap party.
Katheline. A few weeks ago I had the distinct pleasure of meeting J. Christian Adams, author of Injustice (exposing the racial agenda of the Obama Justice department. Mr. Adams is the former attorney for the voters rights section of the Department of Justice. He resigned because Hoder refused to seek justice for philadelphia voters who were threatened and intimidated by Obama's paid poll watchers who happen to be members of the New Black Panther Party. The book signing in Philadelphia was hosted by a group of conservativer Pennsylvania lawyers. J. Christian Adams is an American hero. I would recommend his book to all Hillbuzz people. It would be a nice slap in the face to racist Eric Holder to see Christian's book go to the N.Y. Times best seller list!

By now yopu are probably tired of going back and forth with me about Rep. Ron Paul. You know that I like his monetary and financial policies and his ideas on improving health care. But yesturday I saw a the video of him on Jay Leno. I have to say I was taken aback by the recklessness of his accusation that Michelle Bachmann hates Muslims! I guess Ron Paul would say the same thing about Kevin or me and most commenters at Hillbuzz. But the truth is we don't hate the over whelming majority of Muslims. They had no choice in thier religion. Apostocy from Islam is punishable by death and the punishment has been caried out here in America. I could just imagine the celebrations that would go on throughout the Muslim world if Dr. Paul were to be elected our next president. I am sure they would love having Paul as commander an cheif of our military even more they they thought they would like Barak Obama. I know the military supportsd him, but they also supported Barack Obama and George Bush in large numbers. I love and support our troops but they are mostly very young people and also mostly men. Any woman who does not detest Islam must be suicidal.

I thought Ron Paul’s Tonight Show appearance was awesome, and I’m glad you got a chance to watch (at least, I hope you watched the whole thing, because you’d love 99% of it.) I think over a million people have watched clips of it on YouTube by now, which is pretty cool.
The very last segment was a comedy bit, as far as I’m concerned.
Posercom, I’ll have to defer to you, because the only statements from Michelle Bachmann that I have seen have been during the debates (and I will admit that I don’t pay nearly as much attention to her as I do to Dr. Paul.) But the impression I’ve had from her debate performances is that she does paint all Muslims with a broad brush.
I personally don’t do that, and Dr. Paul doesn’t do that. He’s anti-terrorist, not anti-Muslim.
One of the beautiful things about America is that it’s one of the few places in the world where people from all different backgrounds, religions, ethnicities, etc. can get along, where they couldn’t get along back in the Old Country. Again, I’m a libertarian, so your mileage may vary. But I honestly do not care what people do, who they associate with, what they think, or what they say, as long as they’re not infringing on someone else’s rights.
I don’t care what Muslims get up to as long as they don’t try to force me to be a Muslim or abide by Sharia law. Same with Christians, Jews, Pastafarians, Jehovah’s Witnesses…just don’t tell me how to run my life, and we’ll be fine.
I have to say that I appreciated Michelle Bachmann when she first got involved with the Tea Party movement, but I’ve lost some respect for her…she seems to play fast and loose with the facts sometimes in order to score political points. I get the impression that she’s pandering.
But again, your mileage may vary.
I think she floor Newt Gingredge. and it's a good thing. The liberal media would be all over his Fannie Freddie connection. Newt could not even ndefend himself. I have to say that I sounded alot like you and even Ron Paulk when I had the luxury of being naive about Islam. But I had an urgent need to learn what really goes on in Mosques in America. And here in Philadelphia and through out the World Islam is teaching hate and intolerance. Nialle Fergeson, Hirsi Ayan Ali's husband has powerful arguements about how tolerance of Islam in the Western World without resiprocity in the Muslim world is suicidal for Christians and Jews. He is absolutely right. There is a video of him tearing a liberal reporter on CNN or MSNBC to shreads over thier gleeful support of the Arab spring. I'll try to find it for you. In the mean time I highly recommend "Infidel" and "Nomad" Hirsi Ayan Ali's books. She and Lebanease Christian-Bridget Gabrelle have been fighting the good fight which has actually helped many women and girls who are so misfortunate to have been born in Muslim countries.
If anyone can use the race card it sure can't be either Holder or Obama. They both got to where they are today only through affirmative action, not because of their ability. To have them calling anyone a racist after using a system devised by whites to level the playing field and allow blacks to get ahead is unconsionable. Perhaps Mssr's Holder and Obama pine for the return of "colored" washrooms and restaurants so they can understand what it was like to be a black man in America. At least then any charge of racism will have meaning. Not now, not today!
