Purple Action Item: Obama named most polarizing president…how to make that word stick to him.

Posted on February 4, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // 2012 Presidential Campaign, Action Items, Hillbuzz, Polarize This!, Purple Team - Palin, Sarah Palin

http://www.gallup.com/poll/145937/Obama-Approval-Ratings-Polarized-Year-Year.aspx

One way to take away the word polarizing, as a pejorative the media uses against female politicians, is to make the word synonymous with an effete biracial male politician.

“Obama, the most polarizing American president ever” is how we should start referring to this man as much as possible.

What other things could be called polarizing on a constant basis?

Because when everything is polarizing, nothing is.

Polarizing in this context typically means “people have strong opinions about this” and that the person using it has a negative opinion.

So, here’s my quick brainstorm list:

Rahm Emmanuel – he’s rude and acts like he’s entitled to whatever he wants and yet there are apparently people who like him.

Nancy Pelosi – though, since she is female that might not be the best choice

    Harry Reid

    Global Warming

Most members of the Congressional Black Caucus

    Reverend Wright

I will try and think of more later

What we need to do is to pin on him the stirring in Egypt.

He is behind the protests and the attempted take-over. Code Pink is involved behind the scenes.

Many good people are protesting and they do not realize that they are being duped.

However, the role here is to show that he is interfering in Egypt in a way that is not Presidential… we need to get it out there.

“Because when everything is polarizing nothing is” is absolutely right. This is EXACTLY what the Dems do. They play pile on.

Frankly, I think Obama is in a state of panic with Issa and DeMint chomping at the bit that he’s throwing rocks to keep the Republicans at bay before they start uncovering things. Hence, you have the stories out there about McCain talking about how “centrist” Obama is. That’s an olive branch…showing Republicans are bipartisan. But don’t be fooled. Look at how many “urgent crises” we’ve had since Republicans in congress were sworn in.

He can run…but he can’t hide. The truth will come out.

    Obamacare.

Not only does the term hit a nerve – if the left are screeching that it must be called “healthcare reform”, and not attached to Teh Won, then you call it Obamacare – it is a genuinely polarising law.

Oh, and here’s some evidence of just how much the term “Obamacare” terrifies the left:

“Obamacare. Pity the poor congressional and White House staffers who spent hours coming up with the bromidic name “Affordable Care Act” only to see the 2,300 page bill (which Republicans complained Obama played far too passive a role in shaping) get labeled, for all eternity, “Obamacare.”"

      http://jammiewearingfool.blogspot.com/2011/02/nefarious-conspiracy-uncovered.html

Hey, if this is Teh Won’s crowning achievement, why not put his name on it? All. Over. It.

And as much as he is admired for his war service, he had no right to be on the top of that ticket – in the sense that the R’s have that old “it’s his tuuuuuurrrrrrn mentality. God Bless his heart, he was too old, and had cancer, and none of us could count on his path or his beliefs. The most extraordinary thing he did was to introduce the country to the governor of Alaska, who none of us knew and which drove the media mad. It wasn’t in their play book and they will never forgive him for it, despite the way he is trying to get them to pay attention to him again. There are days I think he’s actually going to try to run again.

Tricky Dicky was never “that” polarizing.

He was a good man and the left hated him.

Tricky Dicky did what was surprising considering his Quaker beliefs and that was the increase in bombing in Vietnam.

He might have got pinged for lying and covering up over the watergate break-in but that is absolutely nothing compared to the crimes committed by Øbama.

Okay, let’s see…these numbers are based on my memory…

First of all I think the Independents make up about 27% of the voting population, Repubs are at about something like 42% which leaves the Dems at roughly 31% currently.

So Obama only has 82% of 31% which is roughly 25% of the population there. Plus I think Independents give Obama–lets be generous–40% approval which is roughly 10.8% total approval.

Put that all together and you get something like (25 = 11) 36 Total Approval. Those are not good numbers.

He won the election with 53% of the vote. 51 – 36 = 25%. Dude’s lost 25% of his base.

Obama is so polarizing that he’s polarized the Dems out of 25% of their electorate! (or something)

Why would they would do a Presidential interview on Super Bowl Sunday? I can see millions of TV sets being turned off. Just a bad idea and just plain desperate.
