Crossing a Line in the Health Care Debate? http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2010/03/19/opinion…
Saw that.
Impeachment has been mentioned a couple of times in big publications. A line has been crossed, and they know it.
And this one's not even close. See Hatch Amendment.
AWESOME~~~!!!
This is a photo of the view from the Speaker's Lobby at noon today. It was tweeted by Rep. Patrick McHenry.

Can't be there?
You can still pray…
http://www.gratefulness.org/candles/candles.cfm?l…
I can't be there either but I'm right there praying with you.
Well it looks like demon pass ain't gonna fly. http://michellemalkin.com/2010/03/20/report-deem-… Let's see if they've got the balls to do a up or down vote.
Wow! Awesome. Thanks for the link!
Thank you for the thread and for the photos and for the comments
Oh' Thankyou boyz and Joodee' for sharing the pic's– as always so far away being on the "west coast" I would love to be there, however in spirit….!
Thanks again
awesome pictures..how can these idiots not pay attention to this? are they all afraid of this "man" who wants to changee America?
Great pics, I'm so glad there is a huge turnout! Love seeing the Lone Star flag flying on D.C. soil ~ on Earth as it is in Texas!
Wish I could be there with them…but doing all I can in my area…..lots of prayers that this bill will fail….
Go, America, Go!
Kick those fascists out of our Republic now!
I'm happy to see so many were able to go! It looks like at least as many as were there in Nov when I went. Maybe even more! Great!
I don't think it will end well for our side tomorrow, but I don't think it will be over either.
Thanks, Boyz and Miss Joydee!!!
Wow! Just WOW!!!
You can sense the energy coming off those pics.
I just hope the chickenshite Dims will be more ascared of their constitutents than they are of Pelosi, once they see how riled up everybody is!
Let's keep the heat on!
Go, Patriots! Go, Jodee!
Yea! Go get 'em, American Patriots! I admire you so much for fighting for our rights! Wish I could be there with you. How can The Stupids vote for this bill when they see what they've stirred up – never before have I seen people so inspired to protest against something! What must they be thinking? Are they nuts?
Yeah, WOW. Go DC invaders!!!
Reporting back from outside Bean's local office in Schaumburg, a lot of us turned up despite the weather, and we managed to drive off or outlast the whole pro-ObamaCare crowd. We were enthusiastic and cheerful; the pro-Obamas were looking mean and glum.
Man, now I see why people protest. It's liberating. I'm definitely in a better mood now than I was before.
I have a paradoxical tip for anyone who's shy about protesting: bring something to bang. (No, not that kind of bang.) I've never protested before, and I honestly feel a little awkward just holding a sign or chanting a slogan. But on a whim, I brought our old tea kettle along, with a wooden spoon to use as a drumstick. I'm glad I did.
First, banging a kettle's a real good way to get people chanting "Kill the Bill" to keep in rhythm. Second, if someone starts heckling you or trying to co-opt your "Kill the Bill" rhythm for "Health Care Now", you can just start improvising some random syncopated pattern that confuses their timing.
You are enjoying yourself, grooving to a rhythm; they can't make their insults heard over your drumming.
I don't know if leftist know what to make of libertarians/conservatives/Rebubs/freedom-lovers bringing street percussion to a protest. They think that's their territory, and it seems to confuse and irritate them.
Also, slogans that co-opt old flower-child territory, like "ObamaCare is bad for patients and other living things" (something I'm totally convinced is true, btw) also surprise people. They don't expect it.
They also don't expect squares like us to be dancing to a rhythm.
In addition to the "Honk to Stop ObamaCare" signs, the Schaumburg protesters also had a few seed cars driving by now and again to encourage honking. It worked. People are definitely less shy about honking if someone else is honking louder.
File these away under tips for successful street theater. Just don't expect to be able to use the kettle and spoon afterwards for any cooking. They get pretty beat up.
I drove by and saw you guys! Honked really loud! I was the girl and her mom in the red Pontiac Vibe.
Good for you guys, really made my day to see you out in this weather!
I think I remember you! Yay!!
Actually, now I'm sure I remember you. Double Yay!!
Xana, awesome! Thanks for the report and thanks for going!
Love your tips about the drumming. Just brilliant!
Hope everybody files them away for pre-November, when the stuff really hits the fan.
And, BTW, you're no 'square'!!!
We kill them with kindness, they don't know how to respond.
Sure true. The times I did catch their eye, I was smiling.
If I had thought any of the pro-Bamas were in the mood to have an honest heart-to-heart about why we disagreed, rather than just a pissing-match to see who could psych the other out first, and if this were not an issue coming to vote in a matter of hours, I would have been happy to try engage them. But no and no.
So just smile at them and ignore their antics.
Even getting the finger ain't so bad if you're having fun. I only saw that happen once, btw, which isn't bad — if this bill really had the support of the people, many more drivers-by would have been flipping me the bird for sure.
I especially like the "WE CAN HELP THE POOR WITHOUT GOVERNMENT HEALTH CARE" sign. That is so true.
I don't think that even the poor will be helped by ObamaCare in the long run.
Wow! What great pictures!
I wish the so-called "elected officials" wouldn't have been kept in safe-keeping behind locked doors. How I wish all of those democraps would- each and every one of them- step out and have to STAND there and LOOK at you, and LISTEN to you and ANSWER you…..
i have an elderly relative, she and hubby are in their late 70's both in wheelchairs, she is now in poor health, currently hospitalized, he has been in and out of rehab for almost a year(spine problems, has an opiate drip inserted in his back to relieve pain)
what would have happened to them if the health care were in effect? i shudder to think about it!
Gerogia Rep. Congressman Paul Broun: "Dems are using zombie economics to try and pass healthcare reform."
So great to see the pictures!!!!! Was there on 9/12 and this brings back such awesome memories! Only my wallet held me back from going this time. Bless everyone who made it to D.C., and may the force be with you!
I want to go to a rally in DC!!!
FWIW, right now, there are 216 NO votes. Not sure how long it's going to last, however.
http://rightwingnews.com/2010/03/less-than-24-hou…
btw, keep in mind, a tie vote is a LOSS
http://www.redstate.com/snarkandboobs/2010/03/20/…
I love this billboard uprising going on..
here is the latest…in Colorado
Matheson stays NO, Space flips to NO — probably not the developments Dems wanted following Obama's pep rally.
http://twitter.com/DavidChalianABC
Matheson is my rep from S. Utah. He better not flip either, or he won't make it from Vegas through the Virgin Gorge without a heap of thorny cacti awaiting him!
Hubby and I just returned home,It was an amazing experience! Hubby and I agreed that the most heartening thing was this. Old fogeys like us, young folks 20 30 years old, families with toddlers were there. The American people have been galvanized!! Ignore us at your peril!! Because whatever our enemies throw at us we give back 100 fold!! OK Boyz what are the marching orders!
Did you take pictures?
Good on you for going!!!
yes we did! The odd thing was our elected officials stood on the balcony, folks pointed and and yelled kill the bill.!! One young man of about 23 or so remarked to me that they looked so arrogant up there in their ivory tower! And come November they will fall. I was so damned proud of being an American today! We have these clowns on the run. If you can surf on over to big hollywood to hear Jon Voight's speech! he was fabulous. He was standing 15 feet or so away from us, no entourage, no visible body guards.Just a normal concerned American citizen who raised his voice against tyranny. In fact all the speakers were inspiring. We had to bail early, hubby's arthritis and out train reservations deemed it necessary. "They" are scared of us! very empowering. Never ever give up our fight and take our country back!
I watched John Voight on the internet.. he was awesome!
Arrrgh.. Ivory tower is right.
Email the pics to Hillbuzz.. maybe they will post them.
Hooray for Barbin NJ!
The other side might think we're taking orders from the RNC, when we're really taking orders — if we take orders at all — from a ragtag bunch of guys in Boystown.
Well, the Left always says exploding stereotypes is a good thing.
So glad to see how many people were there!!!! And, uh, no police were called, right??? That's right, we do things the right way!
Thanks to all who were there
Actually cops were on the steps armed with automatic rifles, hubby's a vet.I think he took a picture of that! Not sure if it was to protect the clowns or us.
Thank you to all the Patriots who could attend. Millions of Americans are with you in spirit. I was there on 9/12 and was bummed I could not make it this time. On short notice, so many showed up and all pay for this out of pocket…that's awesome, Blue Dogs, take notice, your vote will be for freedom or chains, where do you stand? This vote will be historic, you will either protect liberty and our Republic or you will go down in the history books as the ones who sent us into socialism.
Stand strong, vote no and you will have a large majority of Americans behind you, we will have your back…we greatly outnumber the progressives. Please find the courage to vote no!
God Bless all
My pictures.
Great pix, better than hubby's. Thanks for sharing RoboMonkey
Glad you like 'em! Wish I could have stayed the whole day.
I love it!
Thanks. Had to represent for all of my friends who couldn't be there.
RoboMonkey, super pics and you caught some terrific signs!
"Grandma's not shovel-ready!" LOL…and this:
"Never has so much been taken from so many for so little."
And I love the one with the toilet seat on a stick with the Obama logo in the middle, as well as "the fifth horseman of the apocoplypse".
Well done!
Demos LIE to pass health care bill:
http://weeklystandard.com/blogs/media-malpractice…
The poor WILL NOT be helped by the health care bill. Doctors and institutions can barely afford to take MediCare patients now. With passage of this bill there will be virtually no place to go with MediCare. It won't do you much good if no place will take it.
I know. That's one of the hardest parts of this bill for me to stomach, morally. They're trying to pass it in the name of helping the poor, when it will do so many things to hurt the poor.
Just watch. If it passes and remains in place, sooner or later there will be the crisis that so few doctors take MediCare that poor people have nowhere to go. Then they'll want to solve the problem they created by forcing every doctor to take MediCare.
Medicare re-imbursement rates are low enough that if every doctor is forced to take MediCare, non-Medicare patients won't be able to afford not being on Medicare. So to solve that problem they created, they'll want to pass a law putting everyone on Medicare.
Remember how Obama said that Canada didn't get to single-payer all at once?
And where will the Canadians go? Right now they come here when they're turned away at home. (I know, I know, officially no one is turned away in Canada, just made to wait an indefinitely long time, but that amounts to the same thing. A person who's always telling you "later" really means "no".)
Ack, I meant Medicaid for the poor. MEDICAID!
Dyslexia strikes again. Medicare's for the old folks!
I was at the rally today and saw a doctor wearing a lab coat. On the back, it said "I am not a slave, and you are not a piece of meat." That about sums it up for me! Wish I had taken a pic of that.
I was glad to see several doctors there protesting this terrible bill.
I just think this is awesome! I want to thank all those who were able to attend this rally and the one the other day…I went to the great one on 9/12 but couldn't afford to go to this one (I live in TX). But thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

A petition from SP's facebook. My apologies for not searching through to see if it has already been posted.
I couldn't be there in person, but I said a prayer and send my heart felt gratitude to all of you who could attend. I did however, send my voice through their fax machines! I hope it was a good sign that it took me 2 and 1/2 hours to send 13 faxes to some of the wavering democrats. The fax numbers were very busy. I think Mollohan, Pomeroy, and Tanner had their machines off. I never did get through to them. They might think they are safe for now, but they are on my list of things to do come first thing Monday morning.
Here go the attacks and smears of the Tea Party Patriots!
See attacks on HuffPo, Politico, CBS.
Claims that the vile, vicious, hatemongering, homophobic, racist, anti-government teabaggers spit on a member of congress, hurled racial & sexual slurs. I
just don't see this happening. Bet these folks were race-baiting.
This stuffs turns my stomach. All you get from these leftists is lies and we all know that it is the left that trashes the streets, smashes windows, and so on.
Everything about these people is disgusting. Lies, smears, insults and attacks.
Good American citizens being slandered and
reviled by these pigs.
John Voight was great. He is a true patriot.
So is Michele Bachmann.
here's a good cartoon about angry liberal white people.
