People Are HURTING, Mr. President

Posted on November 2, 2012 by TheTamminator // Hillbuzz

And this new ad from the Romney/Ryan team really drives that message home.  On another note, do you think that Romney would have buzzed off to Vegas while people on the islands of New York and New Jersey are in such dire circumstances?  Me neither.

    NO, I do NOT!

That is the difference between a good and caring man/Romney,

    and a egotistical, arrogant, all-about-me, self-centered, I could

go on; Obama! Romney’s core values of decency and concern

for others is addressed in his faith, and he knows who he would

answer to for his transgressions. Obama is His own God.

Count me as one of those who can not find a job either.

Never in my life have I ever applied for a job that I wanted & not been hired. I have applied for 20+ jobs in the last 6 months & they are just not out there. No long term jobs on the horizon to speak of UNLESS we get “O” out of office.

I hate seeing how our wonderful country has declined to such lows. Factories & plants closed. Hence, small businesses, like restaurants, close due to people squeezing pennies. Downward spiral.

People are destitute & want to work. The vast majority of Americans do not want a hand out, they want to work. I don’t want a hand out, I want a job!!!

I know Liz. I have been a stay at home mom since we adopted our daughter 9 years ago. I am a teacher, however one of my hobbies for years has been cake decorating and I found a pt-time job in a nearby bakery-which was all I wanted at the time juggling family responsibilities including caring for my parents and one of my aunts. The bakery where I worked was 2 blocks from my house and run by the most wonderful family. Sadly they went out of business a year and a half ago, partly due to the downturn in the economy and partly due to a landlord who kept squeezing the maximum rent out of his tenants, even in a recession.

That’s nothing, I did my MBA in 2010 I have had 2 phone calls and still no job. I even applied to minnimum wage. Nothing nada. I have relatives been out of work for 1 year or so and have 30 years experience in their fields. 6 months is just warming up. The neighbour is an engineer out of work for 3 years and counting.

I would apply to sometimes 18 jobs a day, and nothing still…

You must need to move to Pittsburgh then. I am a Pharmacy Technician. I applied for two other jobs to see what it out there an heard back from both of them within the week. Others on the staff have moved on and up to other jobs.

It’s awesome they were able to use Biden’s line about the middle class being buried the past 4 years. Very effective.

For six years I have worked for a man who does transition work for healthcare executives on a nationwide (world wide really) basis. While the client base has increased the payment is a drastic decrease.
Monday he cut my part-time at-home hours to ten because of the economy. This is embarrassing but part of the reason I work is because I am good at so many other things other than keeping up the house the way my husband (who’s mom had a housekeeper) is used to. After many years we came to the realization that EVERYONE in the house is happier if we have someone who comes in once a week and dusts, cleans, washes the french door windows, etc. My Kari day. She is also a single mom who relies on the (tax free) income from me. The hours I work translate to the hours I pay her. I know very odd, but I don’t think to dust the stairway, etc. like she does.
So, because we care about her, and her son, I need to cut back on what I do for us. God, I hope she is voting Romeny.

Pennsylvania, Virginia and Florida are all likely going Romney. Wisconsin too, because of Scott Walker. Ohio is reputedly one of the worst states for voter fraud, but Romney has a lot of poll watchers there. Romney might win there too. IF he does and takes the others I mentioned, the election will be a Romney landslide. Pray for it.

I love how the MSM pundits were all urging bo to stay out there and to “look presidential.” Why not just an hour of special broadcast of an image consultant to coach bo? It doesn’t matter – voters have made up their minds.

I hear ya, Liz. I am an attorney who took some time off when I had my baby. I have always been able to just get a new job whenever I needed more money, was no longer challenged, etc. I have been actively looking for 8 months now and have come up with absolutely nothing. It has to get better…
