I heard that first, they approached TODD to do the show. Can you possibly imagine? I mean, I’m sure he’d never do it, or at least, not until he and Sarah are retired from the WH in 2020, but wow. A girl can dream at least.

you won!- the local DC 11 pm news is in full election night coverage mode -remotes from Hollywood, from Dupont Circle, waiting to break live for the red carpet interviews with “Jennifer”

of note – one guy from DC at a bar in Dupont Circle implied that if voters had done what they did tonight for “Jennifer” the mid-term elections would have had a different outcome.

They think this an actual election victory!

I don’t agree, Mark. Jennifer is a pro in the entertainment world. She is also desperate to get back into it, referring to a “comeback”. She was clearly more polished and a better actor. Kyle is a sweet young man and a good entertainment, but dancing, he was like a big lovable puppy. He was so intent on entertaining the fans that his dances suffered for it. Lots of energy and laughs but mugging for the camera. Bristol was the clear winner in the purest sense of what the story line of DWTS is all about. She knew nothing about entertaining; had no previous experience in the arts or acting; was a frightened little girl who had been mugged by the young man she thought loved her and also the “mean girls” of the left. Every week she listened to the criticism of the judges and improved. She has shown her class and she is all that. There was a difference and the difference is that the left will never let another conservative on the show – much less win it.

We popped in to show ABC what real ratings are – and now we’ll leave them to wonder what happened and to wish that they had not had the unfortunate server crashes that many of us experienced keeping us from voting. Not knowing if the ones we got in counted.

I sure wish Bristol hadn’t said her comment about wanting to win to give the big middle finger to those who hate her mom and her. I totally understand her and would be thinking the same thing. But to say it out loud? Bad form. It just plays into the Palin haters thoughts that she’s a whiner and mean. I think it just caused many who felt sympathy for her to be totally turned off. She wasted an opportunity to end the season on the same graceful and thankful note as she started.

I hope she goes home and stays out of the public eye unless to give a speech on abstinence or to make a return appearance on DWTS next season. I think she needs a breather from the hate and time to regroup and mature.

I certainly hope Bristol keeps up her public appearances for not only the next two years but for many years after that. She is a dear young lady with more class than most have in that age group. Please don’t advocate PDS here.

I like Bristol. As a parent of a 19 year old daughter myself, I know exactly how immature, snarky, pissy, territorial, vengeful they can be when they or their loved ones are attacked. Bristol has reacted over time to the attacks with grace but the past few weeks I’m starting to see a bit of a break in her composure. First the Facebook posts and then the middle finger statement last night. That’s expected of someone of her age, maturity and experience level so is understandable. But that doesn’t make it right. I would give my daughter heck for doing either one of those things, especially if I was a public figure, so why can’t I state that’s how I feel about Bristol doing it too? I never said Bristol should hide away and never be seen again. I said she needs to concentrate on herself and her son again and leave public life behind other than occasional speeches or appearances. When her mother runs for President, she’ll once again be in the public eye. She can take the time between now and then to regroup and mature.

Why is that so horrible? I don’t get why I’m a hater unless I support everything every Palin does 110% even if I think they’re making a mistake.

    Go check Sarah’s Tweet.

This is telling in so many ways.

Sarah is not a bitter woman. She knows that competition is good.

She is not bitter, and I bet you neither is Bristol.

Yet their detractors, once again, are bitters even in victory.

They will throw this in these women’s faces repeatedly, that’s for sure. That’s what immature, bitter people always do.

    Hey, All ~
Do you think DWTS will ever get these ratings again?
Will the show “need” another member of the beautiful Palin family to appear on it to get these ratings?
Will you watch it next season?

I have watched DWTS on-and-off over the years. This season, I learned something ~
the judges criticism of Bristol, while hard [sometimes, I think they were too hard], for the most part, was delivered in a respectful, fair manner. But their votes ~ especially Bruno’s votes and Carrie Ann’s ~ always seemed lower than expected based upon their comments ~ I thought that was unfair. What I learned from this season is that when I watch DWTS again, I am going to look for that ~ the “targeted underdog” ~ the dancer who is working so hard each week to improve, who gives their whole heart as Bristol did ~ and I will “vote like a Democrat ~ vote early, vote often” ~ for them.
    What do you all think?

Come to think of it ~ this lesson I learned from lovely Bristol and gracious Mark ~ not from DWTS ~ I must give credit where credit is due!

I say no to another Palin doing anything on ABC again. Now they know how quickly independents fall in love with the Palin family, and they will make sure to think of something that will cause the new person to be humiliated every week just to please their crazy lib viewers and colleagues.

I thought of Rush Limbaugh when watching DWTS. He was also denied the chance to become an owner of a football team simply because he’s a conservative. Allowing him to do that would have legitimize him. They (libs) do their best to stop anyone who is a true conservative from becoming mainstream.

Having said that… since the Palins play by their own rules.. if one of them signs up to be a contestant on that stupid show again, I’ll have no other option but to watch it and vote like a democrat again. :D

What I find amusing about all this is that all the uproar the Left incited over the show worked, in a way, against them. In two days, is anyone besides Jennifer and her (I’m certain) long-suffering agent going to remember she won?

Whether they like it or not, this season is going to be remembered as The Year of Bristol. They would have been much smarter to simply ignore her.

But then, the Left is seldom smart.

Regardless of how many people voted dozens or hundreds of times, it still took a lot of people to vote Bristol through to the finals. Do we REALLY think that if Sarah was unpopular that this would have occurred? That would a be a “no”.

All this does is signify how the media and the Left are continually trying to convince us the Sarah is not as popular as we know she is. This woman is regular America, not the political elite, and she’s a threat to most in politics, or invested in politics as their piggy bank.

I’m loving the Palins. They aren’t perfect, but I’ve had enough of “perfect” political familes who look and sound great but are rotten to the core.

At least with the Palins we know what we’re getting. They’re an average family where kids say and do things their parents would rather they didn’t, so what? Let’s get it all out, give the press every little bit of everything and let them go choke themselves on it. The fact is that the more we know about this family the better. Their foibles are so minor, (at least they didn’t abandon a woman to die like Teddy K. did), that after a while the American public will develop the same “so what?” attitude that we Palin fans have.

The more Sarah Palin gets out there the more sane people realize that she’s no spawn of Satan and the left’s stupid and nonstop attacks will become nothing but background noise.

I also love the way the Palins are fighting back. They aren’t patricians like the Bushes, these are everyday people who are fed up with being attacked and are defending themselves. Sarah doesn’t let little things go and by so doing is not allowing the left to get away with their little lies and inuendos. I think that’s why they’re so ballistic about her. They keep firing their weapons only to find out that they’re boomerangs and they just come back to bite them.

The liberal media has gotten away with this nonsense for way too long. Kudos to Sarah and Bristol for sticking it to them when they can. They’re not just in a political fight, their lives have been threatened and the media has been implicit in getting nutcases all worked up. If anything happens to any of the Palins we know who to blame.

So, my feeling is, Run, Sarah, Run! Let the chips fall where they may but don’t stop being who you are. We need fighters, not wimps, to take down these socialist idiots.
