Obama loses his rock star status…literally.

I am going to date myself here but I was an 80′s Metalhead. To be more accurate, I was a closet Metalhead (also know as Headbangers). I was the good-girl who never did drugs….I was always the designated driver….I went to church every Sunday but…I LOVED heavy metal ( and still do). One of my all time favorite bands was Kiss. Their costumes were the best (Ace Frehley was my man).

Anyway, I have always had great respect for Kiss’ front-man, Gene Simmons. He was born in Israel to parents who were Nazi concentration camp survivors. He not only has a college degree (in Education) but he’s a very shrewd businessman. He describes himself as a “social liberal” but has voted for conservative candidates in the past. He’s considered to be fairly influential in the Jewish community and is always welcomed with open arms when he returns to Israel for visits.
This is why people were surprised when he tweeted that Rick Perry would be the next President of the United States….
Considering Rick Perry is so socially conservative, you would think that Simmons would support someone like Mitt Romney. In an interview he did on CNN he had this to say about the Obama presidency…
“Two years in public office, never ran his own company, so after the fact, I was questioning the qualification,” said Simmons during an appearance on CNN.
Simmons knocked the health care bill, in addition to “the Chapter 11s and Chapter 7s. You should be able to fail. ”
“I want the government out of my life,” said Simmons.
Amazing that someone famous has some brains, but that’s not the only rational thing he has said. He was a big supporter of Operation Iraqi Freedom and posted this comment on his website…
“The Iraqis are free. I suggest anyone having a problem with this war go talk to the Iraqi’s. Ask them if they prefer freedom (even at the price of, initially having what seems to be chaos), or if they prefer Saddam Hussein come back and reinstates the old ways.
I DARE anyone to say the Iraqi’s were better off before, under Hussein.”
He’s certainly not a Hollywood liberal lemming. Can he persuade the Jewish community to abandon Obama in 2012? Considering how many times Obama has thrown Israel under the bus, it is one of the great mysteries why anyone who is Jewish would vote for him.
Kudos to Gene Simmons for coming to his senses.

True…but at least he has the right idea.
I heard many of his comments this morning on America's Morning News. I applaud him for admitting that in 2008 he was caught up in the emotionalism of the moment, but as he said, "..after looking at Obama's very thin resume, I have to say that I want my vote back." BTW, Simmons has investments in (of all things) NASCAR, so he makes frequent appearances in Indianapolis to watch his money go around (and grow). He's more of a conservative than he wants to admit.
No, it would take the likes of Barbara Streisand, Richard Dreyfuss, and their ilk to shake the jewish folks out of their jewicidal voting preferences.
I find it so strange that they apparently have such a fear of Christians, who, as a whole, love them to death.

Although, to their credit, there is movement among young Jews to wake up to the fact that the prez is no friend of the Jews.
Many Dem congressmen have rushed to Israel this summer to prove otherwise.

Perhaps true, but, one would think that as loudly as the American Jews have backed Israel in the past with other presidents, they would stop and think twice before backing anything this one has to say, whether it would be against Israel (well, ESPECIALLY that), or anything else!

Real Jews like Joe Liberman, David Horowitz and others are sure that Obama is no friend to their people. The Marxist Jews are like the israelites in the movie The Ten Commandments, who after Moses has led them to freedom sad safety, choose to become Pagans and worship false idols. It's a story old as time.
Gene Simmons has come to his senses (WHAT WAS HE THINKING)? Didi he not hear Rev. Rights anti-semetic remarks or know that Obama and Louis Farrekhan are buds? As for his support of Gov. Perry for president, I think that Gene is sexist. His reality show is very disrespectful to his wife. He is not what I consider a good example of a Jewish man' but at least he is admitting he was wrong about Obama.
Bill Clinton was extreemly pro-Israel. His security cabinet was often referred to as the Banai Brith security council because all-Bob Cohen, Sandy Berger and Madeline Albright were jewish (Madeleine is half). It was also popular to be hating on the Muslims during the Clinton administration even when Muslims were in consentration camps in Yugoslavia. But so much has changed and Islam is the flavor of the day among liberals. They are slaves to fashion and quite capricious. Lets face it, they are childish fools.
Actually, Gene Simmons has been critical of Obama for a while now. Yes he voted for him, but he regretted it, especially after seeing how Obama treated Israel. Simmons was also rather supportive of President Bush's foreign policy. So, while he descibes himself as a liberal, that reign just might come to an end.
