I’ve always really liked Brit Hume. I think he’s one of Fox’s best and most respected commentators. If he’s comparing Obama’s Justice Department to Nixon’s Justice Department that’s not good for Obama…or Eric Holder.
We all know how Nixon’s Watergate scandal turned out.

The Nixon DoJ was not that bad.
This issue is one that is most unwelcomed by this gang of thugs in the wh. It could not have come at a worst time. When you think about it, it's right before a decsion is made on the debt, it's right before bos re-election bid, and it also gives an opportunity to piggy back all of the other scandels. This scandal could work as a catalyst to bring to the forefront all of the other issues that have been kept in the background. If the alternative media won't pick this up and run with it full force, then we will lose. It is only through the force of running this through the alternatives will the state-controlled media be forced to address this. There isn't anyway, in my opinion, that the wh will force holder to resign because it would force them to admit to something that it doesn't want to see the light of day. I think that the House really needs to act as swiftly as possible before even more documents disappear.

I lurk a lot at Daily Kos, and there is almost zero coverage of this. What little there is is being misinterpreted as some old Bush hangers-on in DoJ doing something really inept. Not a clue that it could be an Eric Holder brainchild with tentacles right up to Obama.
This is a scandal that cannot be suppressed indefinitely. When the lid blows off, they're not going to know what hit them.
As far as I know, no one died as a direct result of Watergate. Correct me if I'm wrong on that, please, But, I believe at least one federal agent died and his death was linked to project gunrunner. This needs to be front page on all news sites. Thanks for keeping the dialogue going on this, Bridget!!! I know it's the tenacity of a fellow southern gal.
you are correct. There was nothing in Watergate that is anything like the scandal right now.
Yes there was the cover-up but it is still nothing in comparison to what is happening now.
The reality of the Watergate scandal was that Nixon himself was not involved in planning the break in, nor did he condone it (if you heard the tapes, he spent at least 15 minutes cussing out Liddy et. al. for their stupidity. It wasn't close to an "attaboy.") The scandal was that Nixon helped cover for his employees. Here, Obama is in league with Holder in order to push their anti-2nd Amendment agenda, and like communists of the past, the innocent people who died were merely collateral damage. The means STILL justify the end to this crowd.
Without Deep Throat, the Watergate scandal would have gone nowhere.This time we have links to Stimulus and ATF documents that use the term "Gunrunner" and a speech by Holder that used the term "Gunrunner." We also have YouTube testimony from Senior Special Agent John Dodson. Yes, let's just hope that all of this stuff is captured ans saved because I noticed during the campaign much of the negative was scrubbed clean during his primary with Hillary.

Just saw a story that the family of slain Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry is going to file suit against the US Government for his death….maybe (please God) this will get someone in the MSM to start looking at the facts.

Somehow I think that Obama's DoJ is far beyond anything done by the Nixon DoJ. Also, if Nixon had been a Dem we would never have heard about Watergate.
Greg, I was young when the Nixon scandal broke. It was huge news in Australia.
However, I think you are correct. If Nixon had been a Democrat there would not have been a scandal. It would have been totally ignored.
Remember when the LSM and the Dems were blathering on and on about how most of the weapons in Mexico came from the U.S., and they were screaming for gun control? I have to wonder if Holder didn't think this was a method to get elimination of our 2nd Amendment rights off the ground. I'm glad it's going to bite him in the you-know-what.

Will "Latinos" still vote for Obama in 2012 after 958 Mexica citizens were killed by his Fast and Furious weapons. How many innocent Hondorans have to die? Democrats use these "communities" by making them feel like victims who are entitled to something from the American government. for the first time now they are actually entitled to something; Justice.
Barak Obama and Eric Holder are guilty of accessory to murder. Most of the people killed were residents of Central America-will their family living here in America continue to vote for democrats and Obama?
Obama and Holder are also guilty of their invovlvement in the killing of Baorder Control Agent Brian Terry. They both should go to prison. Were is Donald Trump on this one? Who will get justice for innocent peopel killed?
Our president is guilty of treason and Holder was and is guilty of Treason for the PArdon of Marc Rich during the Clinton pres. and now again for this gun running scehme designed to destroy our 2nd ammendment rights. Lets make sure it destroys Obama-Holder instead.
