There’s recently been a lot of emails going around showing Michelle Obama wearing a hideous psychadelic dress that looks like posters ripped from a liberal arts freshman’s dorm room walls:

Amazingly, this gets forwarded to us at least once a week, but it’s not real. It’s a photoshop. You can tell at the top because the real dress (which is ugly in itself) can be seen near her shoulders: it’s a hideous red, white, and black combo with abstract swirls. Hideous…and, ironic, because the real dress is uglier than what was photoshopped over it. So, maybe the White House is behind this. The photoshop’s also a giveaway on Mrs. Utopia’s right side, where her arm disappears into the photoshop swirls of color. As nice as the thought of this woman disappearing is, real dresses don’t have the power to make parts of her vanish into thin air (curses!).
What’s funny is how easily people believe she’d really wear something this outrageous and inappropriate. If someone had photoshopped pictures of Laura Bush, Hillary Clinton, Rosalyn Carter, or other First Ladies in something this ugly, people would have instantly known they were fakes.
But, the current FLOTUS? It’s actually NICER than some of her outfits. Such as this one:

The brave people of Iran is what is on my mind today. They fight for their freedom in a way that makes many Americans look pitiful. The women of Iran have guts, too. I pray for their victory against that evil theocracy.

The Iranian people and their struggle against the illegal regime of Khamenei and Ahmahnutjob is definitely on my mind. It will remain on my mind until the people overcome the oppression of the past 30 years.
Khamenei is just as illegitimate as Ahmanutjob. When Khomenei was dying Khamenei pulled a few dirty tricks including the murder of Khomenei’s son. Khamenei was never an Ayatollah. The legitimate “heir” to Khomenei was Montazeri but the good man was placed under house arrest. Montazeri is the Ayatollah who passed away about 1 week ago. He issues a fatwa against Ahmahnutjob and the illegitimate regime in Iran. Until the end he remained a gentle man.
The next hope for Iran is the Grand Ayatollah Sistani who lives in Iraq. If the people win in their battles then it could be that Sistani plays a role to bring about the same kind of change that has been seen in Iraq.
Everyone please pray for the brave people of Iran.

However, the new term being bandied about is ‘Behavioural Analysis’.

Just now listening to Utopia speak about the plane incident..my mind slipped back to conspiracy theory and began to think from the dark side..maybe “planned” or planted..then gives the government reason to take over and control air travel?…I don’t know..not finished thinking that one over yet..
If an adult bookstore kept having its gay movies stolen, the owners and managers would be wise to profile apparently gay adult bookstore patrons.
What is on my mind today is that same event that many folks have on their minds. That is, the attempt to blow up the plane on Christmas Day.
Thank God, the attempt was not successful.
I’ll tell you my fear. If the attempt was successful and the plane blew to pieces as it landed, we would never know the true cause. We would have been assured that it was a mechanical malfunction or pilot error.
I sincerely believe that there have been several terrorist attacks upon us, that have never been admitted by the government.
A few weeks after 9/11 a plane blew up over Rockaway, N.Y. It was said to be a mechanical problem. Nobody believes that.
I can’t go into all the examples, but here on Long Island where I live, we all KNOW that TWA 800 was shot down by missiles. There were over 100 witnesses! The witnesses were never called to testify.
Many of us – including myself – have doubts about the Oklahoma City bombing. What ever happened to John Doe 2?
I don’t know why the government – regardless of who sits in the WH – refuses to tell us the truth.
I find that I can no longer trust my own government.
That’s sad.
I just read on the WTMJ (MIlwaukee) radio web site that a family from weisconsin who adopted two children from Ethiopia were on the plane. They said a man videotaped the entire flight, which leads me to believe that this was a trial run to see what would happen.
The FBI is looking for this guy. Funny I haven’t heard this mentioned elsewhere.

Tim, I have to give you ‘E’ for ‘Effort’ and I think making a video collage of Dr. Utopia’s most egregious gaffes would be dynamite, especially before the 2010 and 2012 elections.

Seems to me that the “original spin” on the terror act, was “No one was hurt, everthing is fine, nothing to see here, move along…” By announcing that the system worked, she was acting on the administration’s theme of diminishing terror acts, as they did re: Fort Hood.
My mind is on our Nation which lacks a leader. We’ll make it through this obama period because we’re resilient.

One of the things I wonder about is whether the next president will go after Obama in the manner that Obama has gone after Bush. Could you see the next president in front of the podium on inauguration day saying “Our nation has been without a leader for the last four years, now that will change…”
I’m torn. On one side I hope that the next president restores class and dignity to the office, but on the otherside, I would love to see this douche get his due.
While I would somewhat like to see that happen too, I’d also prefer it didn’t because I think it’s so classless the way the Annointed One does goes after Bush, Reagan and whomever else he can lay blame on. If the next president (Palin or whomever) decided to keep silent about his screwups, I’d have so much respect them for that.
He belongs in jail….. the fraud.
I think we are not told the truth because it would be more frightening than we can imagine and that all “heck” would break loose if we decent people were in the know.
I have become more suspicious over the years watching the ROP show up in places you would never imagine them finding their way to, like a very small island in the Caribbean that we used to go to and a medium sized town here in Wi.where my Dad lived. Then I find out there are thousands and thousands of Somalis here in southeastern Wi. We are going the way of Detroit, we don’t currently need more people to take care of. I don’t recall anyone asking us if we could or wanted to handle this.
I think part of what is going on is the left is trying to do to us what they’ve done to England: destroy society by importing a lot of people who will not adapt and will help disrupt and eventually destroy us.

Probably we aren’t told the truth because the “big shots” in D.C. think we’re all too simple-minded to absorb it! You know, us folks who bitterly cling to our guns and our religion! I watched “Sound of Music” on ABC last night for the first time in many years. It’s facinating how timeless the message of the story has become, how a fairly decent nation (Austria) could be subdued by a political regime so quickly and completely.
All it took was a determined political movement (Nazis) and a large segment of population not paying attention (like Uncle Max “we should all learn to just get along”) to overwhelm the few who would stand up against them (Von Trapp).
Here on HB many of us have posted about our Catholic school upbringing…and the Sound of Music always makes me think of the scene were the Nuns undo the carborators on the Nazi vehicles so that the Von Trapps could make their escape.
Sometimes the oddest ‘help’ can come from the least likely sources. Like elderly Sisters’ who you wouldn’t expect to know about engines; or an Alaskan mom, whose not supposed to know about governing…
I too am thinking of the brave Iranians demonstrating against their oppressive regime. Canada has denounced the actions of the Iranian thugocracy – CANADA. Where is Dr. Utopia? Sunning himself on the beach and playing golf.
Germany has also come out and denounced the brutality. Angela Merkel had to get the Obumbler to make a statement after the murder of Neda. If not for Merkel he would have stayed silent. Well Merkel has spoken out again… whilst your POTUS is where?
Similar to refraining from going to church on Christmas, Dear Leader does not want to disturb the thugocracy from enjoying its crackdown. So, he will refrain from commenting, for the greater good. Plus, he probably has all the facts, so he can’t comment, compared to when he has no facts and can comment.
On the other hand, I am slightly relieved that I don’t have to hear him say “we are monitoring the bloodshed with concern, but recognize the right of a repressive regime to repress its peoples. We hope to have a constructive dialogue soon, and look forward to the next state dinner with couscous and belly dancers.”
Bambi is going to tear himself away from the beach to make a statement this afternoon.
