What’s on your minds this Monday?
What are people talking about in your part of the country?
Have you seen any stats on Christmas sales figures for retailers yet? It seems online sales jumped 15% this year, but I have not seen mention of regular brick and mortar stores.
With online commerce so robust, it seems even more foolish for Democrats to ram through Internet-killing regulations via the FCC, in direct opposition to the will of Congress…but those are Obama Democrats for you. Whatever they can do to kill jobs, impede commerce, and break something that doesn’t need fixing.
Hope!

Visual evidence of the malls out here in suburbia indicate crowdedness and excessive shopping, but also extremely ridiculous sale prices, so I'm not sure whether turnout=profit, but it looked like a good sign. I think it's mostly people being sick of not spending money, rather than the economy actually improving.

The last paragraph was interesting:
'Fitting into the change, Obama advisor David Axelrod said Friday that there would be “significant changes” announced in the Obama Whitehouse after the President returns from his vacation in Hawaii…'
It certainly adds some fuel to the fire to the rumors of Hillary resigning soon in order to be able to run against 0bama if she can find a path to do so. Although, it might just be 'Teh Won' floating the idea of who her replacement would be to make it look like it was his idea to let her go.
Stop dreaming, Hillary Clinton is not resigning to challenge Obama. Bill "Corrupt Bastard" Richardson is not going to be SOS.
What is going to happen is: After Sarah Palin wins Iowa and mops the floor with her opponents in South Carolina primary Obama will dump Biden and replace him with Hillary. The Clintons will gladly accept the hummiliating offer.
But Palin and the Tea Party will beat them anyways.
I am still bugged by the fact that Hillary took the job in first place. I have to be honest, I am not and probably never will be a Hillary supporter (although I did vote for her in the primary), I think she is miles above Teh Won and his ilk in class and intellect.
what;s on my mind—the constant horrific ongoing persecution by Muslims of Christians. Truthtube.com has the things that have been censored by youtube and what you will see (I do not recommend watching the videos but the titles are enough) will make you drop to your knees to beg our Lord Jesus to strengthen and deliver His children who are suffering so greatly. We here in our still free country can at least pray for them. Catholics, please, say the powerful rosary for these defenseless Christians. And urge our govt to help them and to speak out against the barbarism. With this America-hating president we know the routine respnse, but we need to urge our members of COngress to speak out. The media won't, the ems who have thrown their lot in with the Muzzies as potential voting bloc, wont, so it is up to us to speak out.

in 1982, for those with a HS education but no degree, the out of wedlock birthrate was 13%. Today, it's 44%.
I can guarentee you, this will not end well.
You're absolutely right! We have a long history of what this rise in out of wedlock birth has done. How sad. All of the parties affected are hurt. No one comes out ahead.
I would like to invite all my HillBuzz friends to continue to model Conservative values now that Christmas is behind us for another year. As you seek to change the minds of others around you about politics, remember they watch how you live your life. The Obamas attendance at that hate filled racist church and their slavish devotion to Rev. Wright told me all I needed to know about them. It also told me the fix was in with the dinosaur media when it became a non-story. That vile, vicious, divisive, ugly man married Barack and Michelle and baptized their daughters. They sat in that church and listened to Wright spew rhetoric so evil that it takes your breath away. That Black Theology church holds that white people are too evil to be Christians.
So, live your life as a witness to Conservative principles and be a light shining in the world. We need it now, when the evildoers are rewarded beyond all reason and sanity.

I'm thinking of compiling a list of "see, Glenn told you so!" (like "see, I told you so!) about all the things Glenn has said was happening or going to happen, but people called him crazy. Well, those things are coming to fruition. Remember when Glenn was warning Congress about all the poweres 0bummer was giving to these regulatory agencies like the FDA, FCC, etc.? He was telling them "WAKE UP, Congress… you're going to be IRRELEVANT in the future!" And boy, was he right. I know Congress is corrupt and fairly irrelevant anyway, but at least we can vote them out – we can't do JACK about the FCC, the EPA or the FDA! Those agencies are trying to choke off all freedoms and our economy, one regulation at a time.
Cass Sunstein is going to, indeed, be one of the most dangerous people in America.
And this is just ONE of the many "See, Glenn told you so's!" I can think of right now.

Note the irony of that cute little Bo on the effing photograph. I understand lots of people like Michael Vick now that he is "rehabilitated" but I'm not one of them. I have a very hard time getting past his history of animal cruelty.
Knowing Zippy & Co. the way we do – Michael Vick is probably on staff as their personal dog trainer. Poor Bo…if Zippy is ever impeached, I hope someone finds that dog the decent home he deserves. Another example of the double standard for blacks. If that had been a white pro football player, he would have never seen the grass of a football field again and he sure would not be garnering the sympathies of Barack Obama.
