MISSION: to find a photo of the gold champagne towers featured at Obama’s “Beyonce & Jay Z” mega-party last night

Posted on September 19, 2012 by Kevin DuJan // Breaking News, Featured Content

UPDATE:  Well, file this one under “lickety split”.  Thanks Daily Mail for coming through for us!

That tower of golden bottles cost $105,000.  This is twice the median income for an American family under Obama’s rule (which has shrunk to just $51,000 or so).

Hope!

Change!

Opulence!

*******************

ORIGINAL POST:

Apparently, the Obama campaign has banned photos of the decadent, “Night at Versailles” gold champagne towers that prominently decorated his party last night — featuring Beyonce & Jay Z (who is some sort of rapper).

He knows the visuals would not be good if anyone saw how opulent that ballroom was decorated.

I know someone who went to that event snapped pictures before Obama arrived.  I used to be an event planner here in Chicago.  I took pics of every event I staged, for professional and personal reasons.  I was often really proud of events I planned and seating arrangements or displays I designed and I’d keep them for my professional portfolio (or would want to brag to friends that “I did this!”).  SOMEONE who setup those golden towers of bubbly champagne took a picture of the room.

Also, as Prince Harry’s naked Las Vegas romp attests, in the age of cellphones and tiny digital cameras people take all sorts of pictures where they aren’t supposed to.  Someone has this on his or her cell phone.  The thing is, though, that people who’d pony up the obscene amounts of cash to party with Beyonce, Jay-Z, and Obama would never want to do anything they’d think would harm Obama…so they’d never hand over the pics.  There might, however, be someone who worked the event who’d SELL their snaps if wealthy people like the Koch Brothers would put a Larry Flynt-style bounty on the pictures.

Offer a generous reward for the pictures of the golden champagne towers of “Beyonce, Jay-Z, and Obama”.  I think $100,000 would nab those pictures.  Someone working a catering job in New York would probably make $40,000/year if he or she was lucky.  Handing them $100,000 for some pics would set them up for a year or two…which would be more than enough time to find another catering gig if they were busted for releasing the pics.

Anyone have the Koch Brothers or some wealthy conservative friends who’d be interested in fishing for these pictures of absolute, hardcore decadence?

Let’s keep our eyes peeled on the gossip sites like TMZ, the National Enquirer, PerezHilton, etc.  Despite most of these people being Left politically, the are all attention whores and if they’d get the pics somehow they’d run them just to be FIRST! in doing so.

The pics are out there…the mission is just to find them.

If you are on a PC and you want to save something, it’s PRINT SCREEN. It takes a pic of everything on your screen at the time.

Then you can open up Powerpoint or something and click “PASTE” with the right clicker and stick the pic into a slide. You can then save the slide as a JPEG and email it.

I bet someone knows an easier way on a PC.

I’m working off a MAC right now and for us it’s SHIFT-COMMAND-4 to create a little tool that can snap a pic of whatever I highlight on screen.

PLEASE someone chime in with better PC directions.

If you’re on a PC, an easy way to paste and save a screen grab is to open the Paint (standard with the Windows OS) app and paste it there. You can then crop it to the image you need.

I found the following “List of Accomplishments” in the Comments
section after the article on Obama’s fundraiser with Beyonce and Jay Z:

    http://www.nypost.com/p/news/national/beyonce_jay_host_ny_bam_ba_5wud17kNBMEiV8wim9YYJK#ixzz26vEnv4Wv

I tweeked the list a little to give a little more detail.

    OBAMA’S ACCOMPLISHMENTS
We must quit trashing President Obama’s accomplishments.
He has done more than any other President before him:

First President to apply for college aid as a foreign student, then deny he was a foreigner.
First President to have a social security number from a state he has never lived in (Connecticut).
First President to preside over two cuts to the credit-rating of the United States.
First President to violate the War Powers Act.
First President to be held in contempt of court for illegally obstructing oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.
First President to require all Americans to purchase a product from a third party (health insurance).
First President to spend a trillion dollars on ‘shovel-ready’ jobs when there was no such thing as
    ‘shovel-ready’ jobs.
First President to abrogate bankruptcy law to turn over control of companies to his
    union supporters (GM bailout).
First President to by-pass Congress and implement the Dream Act through executive fiat.
First President to order a secret amnesty program that stopped the deportation of illegal
immigrants across the U.S., including those with criminal convictions.
First President to demand a company (BP) hand-over $20 billion to one of his political appointees
    (Kenneth Feinberg–Obama’s “Pay Czar”).
First President to tell a CEO of a major corporation (Chrysler) to resign.
First President to terminate America ‘s ability to put a man in space.
First President to cancel the National Day of Prayer and to say that America is
    no longer a Christian nation.
First President to have a law signed by an auto-pen without being present.
First President to arbitrarily declare an existing law unconstitutional
and refuse to enforce it (Defense of Marriage Act).
First President to threaten insurance companies if they publicly spoke-out on the reasons for
    their rate increases.
First President to tell a major manufacturing company in which state it is allowed to locate
    a factory (Boeing).
First President to file lawsuits against the states he swore an oath to protect (AZ, WI, OH, IN).
First President to withdraw an existing coal permit that had been properly issued years ago.
First President to actively try to bankrupt an American industry (coal).
First President to fire an Inspector General (Gerald Walpin) of
AmeriCorps for catching one of his friends in a corruption case.
First President to appoint 45 czars to replace elected officials in his office.
First President to surround himself with radical left wing anarchists.
    First President to golf 73 separate times in his first two and a half years in office;
104 outings as of August 2012.
First President to hide his Medical, Educational and Travel records.
First President to win a Nobel Peace Prize for doing NOTHING to earn it.
First President to go on multiple global “apology tours” and concurrent “insult our friends” tours.
First President to go on 17 lavish vacations, including date nights and Wednesday evening
White House parties for his friends, paid for by the taxpayer.
First President to have 22 personal servants (taxpayer funded) for his wife.
First President to keep a dog trainer on retainer for $102,000 a year at taxpayer expense.
First President to repeat the Holy Quran & tell us the early morning
call of the Azan (Islamic call to worship) is “one of the prettiest sounds
    on earth at sunset.”
First President to tell the military men and women that they should pay for their own
private insurance because they “volunteered to go to war and knew the consequences”.
Then he was the First President to tell the members of the military that THEY were
UNPATRIOTIC for balking at the last suggestion.
First President to side with a foreign nation over one of the
American 50 states ( Mexico vs. Arizona ).

How is that HOPE and CHANGE working out for you?

Apparently it was a $40,000 per peron event where he raised $4 million and there were 100 people in attendance. Well, according to his own press, Jay-Z’s club holds 580 people so it appears that Obama couldn’t even find enough people to handover cash and attend that fundraiser–also makes you also wonder how many “free” tickets Jay-Z and crew gave out for people to attend. Remember, Bounce (that’s what my mother calls her) sent out an email asking for $3 to $5 dollars to be sent to the campaign and they would raffle off a spot for a “lucky” individual to attend the event. Obama is beyond pitiful.

I’m sorry, but rappers are so stupid.

They piss so much money away on nonsense.

In slang, it’s called “being boujie”.

“Lookit you, sipping that Krystal, holding that Louis Vuitton, sounding all French, being all boujie you”.

The black community has always had a weird obsession with Paris and France in general. “It’s fancy”. So when you “make it”, as a rapper or a singer or an actor or whatever, you need to be seen drinking as much champagne or cognac or wearing as much Louis Vuitton merchandise as possible to prove you made it and are fancy now too.

That obsession comes from all the black writers and musicians in the 1940s and 50s who went to France to escape what they deemed American racism. The French were so much more open and receptive to black Americans (or at least it appeared that way). In the 60s, there was YSL who exclusively used black models to hock his wears. And let’s not forget, Josephine Baker. Black Americans have a long standing, fictionalized love affair with France.

I remember as a kid wanting to go to Paris because Tale of Two Cities was my favorite book and I thought Sydney Carton was the kind of man every girl dreamed of and I thought Jacques Costeau was the coolest and bravest guy in the world–Anyone remember the Undersea World of Jacques Costeau?–now kids want to go to Paris because Beyonce shot a video on the Place de la Concorde or shop at Chanel because Nikki Minjai was wearing a pair of grossly overpriced earrings.

I’ve spent more than half my life in France and the stories I could tell you about black life there would make your head spin.

Sad but true. I pass by a liquor store on Austin north of 290. They are always advertising the most overpriced booze in a neighborhood where most people can barely get by.

One of the last funny SNL routines had I believe Helen Hunt as a “skank” on “The Ladies Man” cable show with Tim Meadows. As the show progressed she kept slamming down his Couvoisier as Leon (Meadows) get more and more nervous.

Looking at the shrine that was erected to honor the prezzy by his hip hopping friends in the 1% it almost looks like an altar used in ancient times (without the flat screen of course) for sacrifice. I wonder if they even see the significance of their decadence amidst the ruins of our country and the world? I mean you wouldn’t want to ruin a party or an appearance on Letterman with a downer like a national security report or honest unemployment numbers. The hypocrisy is stunning yet the news is focused on Romney speaking the truth about those who don’t pay taxes won’t be influenced in voting for someone who stands for tax cuts. It would make a compelling ad…showing rundown, out of work business and Americans on the TV screen between the bottles. As the camera pans out the crowd at the party comes into focus toasting obama in all their opulence with the narrator saying “yes, there are some parts of America better off than four years ago…”

one of my first jobs out of law school was a child support attorney for my state welfare office. This was in the late 90s, so the Clinton welfare reform was in effect. My job was to establish paternity and child support for children receiving governmental benefits. I started that job a Democrat and in 3 years I left and had become a Republican.

I thought that I would be helping people, and there were a small percentage of people that we did help. However, the majority of people didn’t want to do better and were happy to stay on the government’s dole.

The system is set up to disencourage the family unit. Single parents got more money than married, so people would either not marry or divorce for more benefits. Single parents would get money under the table from the other parent and not report it. This was one good thing the Clinton reform did. By making the noncustodial parent pay child support and it being reported to the State, the previously unreported assistance was counted as income. That lowered the amount the custodial parent would receive in assistance.

To get around that, many mothers, who were predominately the noncustodial parent, would intentionally lie about who the father was. We would have to go to court and get an order to do DNA testing, schedule the test with the putative father, get the results, which would be negative, and the start the process over again. This could take about 6 months before we could dismiss the case against the wrong father and start on another putative father. This could go on for years without any cut in benefits because the mother would be “cooperating”. We would know she was lying, but there was nothing we could do about it. Also, if there was a negative result, the State had to pay the costs of the testing, so there was another expense to the taxpayers.

As I said earlier, the system is designed to encourage single families. You combine that with generations on welfare, you have no way of knowing who is related to whom. One thing another attorney and myself discovered was that these women would name a family member who would be incarcerated for 20 to 30 years and have them agree to be named the father. If a putative father agreed to claim paternity, we were not to do DNA testing. Since the “legal” father would be unable to pay because he was incarcerated, the mother could still receive unreported benefits from the father. We had a receptionist who clued us that this was happening; she knew just about everybody and who was related to whom. From that point on I required DNA testing on anyone incarcerated; my negative results on those cases were about 75%. I was also reprimanded by the State Director because I was not following the procedure by requiring the testing. I didn’t care.

I could talk about the women who would not come to court for pathetic reasons, like it was raining or a good episode of Young and the Restless was coming on. There would be women who had jobs and could make it to court, but the women without jobs could not. I don’t have to tell you that the women who had jobs were able to get off of welfare, but the women without jobs who wouldn’t even try to come to court stayed on welfare. These were women who were the third generation on welfare; they didn’t know or want better. They also would be the first ones to complain if they did not get what they deserved, if they had to wait because they showed up without a meeting, etc.

I could write pages about my experience and how it changed my political views. It became apparent to me that when the governmental becomes what you are totally dependent upon, it kills any desire to take care of yourself. Just think about all those people could accomplish if they depended on themselves and not the government.

I do not object to the government providing some type of welfare. I saw people that truly needed it. People on it for short term because of job losses. Grandmothers who were on SS now having to take care of their grandchildren. People on SSI who really cannot work. Probably about 25% of the people receiving long term benefits. However, because so many able bodied people are on it, the amounts that people who truly need it are piddling. If we could get undeserving people off welfare, we could cut the welfare budget in half and probably double the amounts that people who really need it receive.

Before anyone states this post is racist, the people I am discussing are of all races and ethnicities. The common denominator was that they did not expect more out of life, and that is heartbreaking to me.

The first couple of paragraphs of my post got deleted. Basically, I wrote this post because as someone who worked in the welfare system, I can testify that Romney said was true: there is a significant section of our population that does expect and depend on the government to provide for them, and that is so sad.

Do you know why this silliness is happening? Why President Obama is blowing off his security meetings, campaigning in Vegas after the murder of the ambassador, going on Letterman/partying with Jay-Z but too busy to meet with Bibi?

President Obama is just burnt out. He doesn’t have the energy or drive to do this any more. He is just done with the job. Watch his speeches from this year, the fire is all but snuffed out. He doesn’t even seem to believe himself any more. He knows that he is done for and is playing the lame duck game. Clearly, and it really is crystal clear, he has no interest in the job of president but would rather party with the beautiful people.

He sees the writing on the wall. His internal polling must show something seriously bad. Take heart patriots, we need to fight on to deliver the knockout blow. Post extra comments, volunteer at a victory center if only for just an hour, buy a lawn sign, and most importantly get your family to vote with you.
