Memorial Day Open Thread

Posted on May 31, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

We’re going to be busy today doing some volunteer work for people who need a little help around their homes — it’s how we are choosing to spend Memorial Day.  None of us were ever able to wear the uniform and serve our country in the military, but we have utmost respect for all those who have done so, and are currently doing so.  We’re wearing red, white, and blue today, and are keeping in mind all those who can’t be here today because they lost their lives serving our country.

So, we’re not going to waste a minute of the day today, realizing what a gift it is, and appreciating how precious said gift is because of the high cost paid by all those braves lives taken in defense of our freedom and liberty.

Whatever you do today, make it special.  Do it loud and proud and relish it, because every day has been given to you by those who were brave enough to stand up to the villains of their time and assure there was an America here today for you to be able to do it.

H/t Chrissy the Hyphenated

********************

What’s on your minds today?

What are people talking about in your part of the country?

********************

Update on the “Mystery of the Unticketable Car”. Looks like we’ve got a name and an address for the owner, but the address is north of Boystown so it makes no sense that this car is parking at Newport & Halsted.  Now we need to figure out WHY a man named Edward Davis is allowed to park in yellow curb zones without getting tickets in Chicago.  Figuring out who he is and why he is such a VIP will lead us to the answer of whether a “DO NOT TICKET” list really does exist in Chicago.

a poem by Father Dennis O’Brien,

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.

It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is the soldier, who salutes the flag, who serves under the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag.

I don’t mean to change the subject, but I need to post this up top because it is a excellent idea. I found it on Greta’s forum and it was good enough that she even commented on it today. I’ll post the original comment because Its not my idea and the credit should be given to the contributor.
      Here it is

      Alan Banasiak
      Report

With all that equipment in the gulf dealing with the oil spill, one would think that it would be quite easy to inflate an “Occlusion Balloon” first and then cement it off permanently.
      May 31, 2010 at 2:39 pm

This idea along with the grass/straw idea to clean up the oil slicks on the water cold save the Gulf of Mexico. It is Hurricane season, we need to get a grip on this problem.

Sounds good until you calculate the pressure at 5000 ft. which is about 2236 pounds per square inch. You need a material that can withstand the pressure required to inflate a bladder at that depth. The high pressure problem is one of the reasons the top kill didn’t work. Believe me BP wants to stop that leak but NOBODY has experience doing work at this before, we’re getting it now.

In honor of Memorial Day here, we are having the most lovely day imaginable, weather wise. It’s bright and clear and sunny and warm and perfect, just like a day of fond remembrance should be!

Our personal plans were unfortunately canceled due to illness in the house of our host so we are just chillin’. We are going to go out in a bit to see if we can find an open air restaurant for lunch, where we can sit outside (the one we relied on heavily for that in years past is out of business, though that appears to have been a voluntary choice on the part of the owners and not a result of that person who will not be named today but who currently occupies the WH.)

We were out earlier for an appointment and were pleased to see a number of houses with Old Glory waving about.

I am making ribs for dinner.

Have a wonderful Memorial Day, everyone!

So sorry. You’re right about the holidays. A fellow in my hometown wanted a picture of my Dad for a local memorial day ceremony for WW2 veterans. Of course I didn’t say anything because it was nice that he was putting the effort in to gather all the pictures together.

OT – The lady in your pic doesn’t look anywhere near old enough to have had a husband die in Vietnam.

        Hugs, Denise.

I expect people are happy because they have the freedom to be happy – all thanks to your husband who gave his all for us.

If people are happy just because they have a day off (some paid) then we can thank the public schools for not teaching them the right thing and we can blame the individuals for being ignorant.

        Denise,

I’m sorry about your husband and that my comment offended you.

As you can probably tell, I have never known anyone personally who died while serving our country.

I was thinking about this a while ago and realized “happy” was not the best choice of words. But I don’t know what I should say instead. For Christmas, etc. we have the “happy holidays” type of exchange, but that really isn’t appropriate for Memorial Day, is it?

What do you recommend instead? What sort of expression would be more meaningful and respectful to you? I realized today that I have never been taught this etiquette. It would help me to know for next time.

the closest that I got to your situation was my grandfather who was shot in the leg whilst on duty in France during WW1. As a result, his leg was amputated because of gangrene.

Of course if he had died, I would not be here today.

Denise my condolences because of your loss.

Rode my bike down to the Pentagon to the staging area for Rolling Thunder (250-400K Harley’s, depending on who I talked to) and followed the event as it went down the Mall to the Capitol and back to the Lincoln Memorial. Gives me hope in America to see people lining the street with flags, and waving and cheering at our vets.

Then to the National Memorial Day concert at the Capitol last night…what a moving evening. A beautiful early summer evening in front of our Capitol, so beautifully lit, with inspiring words and music.

Tried to get into Arlington Cemetery this am to go to my mom’s grave with my dad, but still was in lockdown because of Vice-President Biden laying the wreath.

Well, traffic is very, very heavy there on Memorial Day weekend. I am sure the public parking was completely full. You could still walk in, but we could not drive in with our permanent pass. They are always very restrictive on driving into Arlington. You either need a permanent pass, as we do, or a temporary daily pass to go to a specific grave. This is to prevent complete chaos with thousands of daily tourists driving all over the place on the narrow roads.

Last night’s Memorial Day tribute by PBS was better than those I remember in the past. I was just sorry that PoopLoosy was there, and sorrier still that they gave her 3 cameos.

This was posted on my daughter’s former boyfriend’s Facebook page yesterday (we still stay in touch) ” SFC David Metzger & SSG Keith Bishop, KIA Oct. 26, 2009 Badghis, Afghanistan. Please dont forget these friends of mine.”

This young man is a Green Beret and his 2 friends were 2 in his unit that died in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan last October. I believe 13 died. They were leaving a fire fight. Our young friend was in the other helicopter. I walked around in a haze for 2 days thinking of how close we came to losing him.

His post got me thinking. I grew up in the 70′s. My generation was too young to be drafted for Vietnam, but old enough to have lived the peace, love and demonstrations. I didn’t know anyone that joined the military. Memorial Day is a somewhat abstract holiday for me until now. Memorial Day was the day my Dad, a WWII vet, got all teary-eyed. He is gone – and he never told his story. I look at my children. We know so many of their friends who joined our totally volunteer military. My son’s best friend did a total of 30 months in Iraq before his 4 years were up. And he came home safely each time. But a friend of his was killed by a sniper sitting next to him as they were eating their lunch outdoors in the Green Zone.

My daughter’s former boyfriend and her current boyfriend are both Green Beret. They both go to Afghanistan again this summer. Her boyfriend now did 4 years in the Marines then reenlisted a year after his service to join the Army to become a Green Beret (which he did). He was in the Battle of Falujah and lost many friends.

This young generation is something to be proud of. Memorial Day is not the abstract concept is was to me when I was their age.
Unlike my generation – my children’s generation has lost many in service to our country. It’s this young generation that gives me hope

No doubt in my mind Obama is pushing the green agenda and exploiting this disaster in the Gulf to do it. Browner and their “Nobel peace prize winning” czar are going to ram thru legislation and hopefully we can put a stop to it in November before it gets too far. Cap and Trade and the HC bill are the two main bills the progressives want. They are the skeleton to complete government control of our lives.

well guys. it seems that other bolgs are picking up your story about Man’s Country. Maybe its’ about to go viral. Here is one post in full.

    http://fellowshipofminds.wordpress.com/2010/05/27/washington-insider-obama-member-of-chicago-gay-mans-club/

Obama and Emanuel: Members of same gay bath house in Chicago

President Obama and his chief of staff Rahm Emanuel are lifetime members of the same gay bath house in uptown Chicago, according to informed sources in Chicago’s gay community, as well as veteran political sources in the city.

The bath house, Man’s Country, caters to older white men and it has been in business for some 30 years and is known as one of uptown Chicago’s “grand old bathhouses.” WMR was told by sources who are familiar with the bath house that it provides one-year “lifetime” memberships to paying customers and that the club’s computerized files and pre-computer paper files, include membership information for both Obama and Emanuel. The data is as anonymized as possible for confidentiality purposes. However, sources close to “Man’s Country” believe the U.S. Secret Service has purged the computer and filing cabinet files of the membership data on Obama and Emanuel.

Members of Man’s Country are also issued club identification cards. WMR learned that Obama and Emanuel possessed the ID cards, which were required for entry.

Obama began frequenting Man’s Country in the mid-1990s, during the time he transitioned from a lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School to his election as an Illinois State Senator in 1996. Emanuel, reportedly joined Man’s Country after he left the Clinton White Hosue and moved back to Chicago in 1998, joining the investment firm of Wasserstein Perella and maintaining his membership during his 2002 campaign for the U.S. 5th District House seat vacated by Rod Blagojevich, who was elected governor.

Man’s Country appears to be a “one stop shopping” center for gay men. The club’s website advertises steam rooms, “fantasy rooms,” bed rooms, male strippers, adult movies, and lockers.

However, Man’s Country was not the only location for Obama’s predatory gay sex activities. The Chicago gay community is aware that Obama often made contacts with younger men at his famous “pick-up basketball” games. It was at these “pick up” matches where Obama first met Emanuel and a young Democratic campaign worker and senior bank vice president named Alexi Giannoulias. Currently running for Obama’s old U.S. Senate seat now occupied by Roland Burris, Giannoulias successfully ran for Illinois Treasurer in 2006 after being drafted for the run by Chicago’s Democratic machine.

The Blagojevich trial: “Sex, Lies, and Audio tapes” — Fitzgerald’s US Attorney’s Office part of White House cover-up of gay sex in the Second City

Giannoulias was a vice president and senior loan officer for his father’s bank, Broadway Bank, from 2002 to 2006. Broadway Bank made real estate loans to Antoin “Tony” Rezko, the chief of Rezmar Corporation. On May 13, 2008, Rezko was found guilty, after being indicted by a grand jury at the behest of the U.S. Attorney for Northern Illinois Patrick J. Fitzgerald, of six counts of wire fraud, six counts of mail fraud, two counts of corrupt solicitation, and two counts of money laundering. Rezko has been in solitary confinement at the Metropolitan Detention Center at Van Buren and Clark in Chicago since June 2008. However, Rezko has not yet been officially sentenced to a federal prison. A Syrian-American, Rezko is considered to be a flight risk, even though his one-time fortune of $50 million has been reduced to zero.

One Republican politician in Chicago told WMR that Rezko will be a prime witness for Blagojevich’s defense. “Figure it this way, Rezko’s been in solitary confinement in the city jail since June 0f 2008 . . . if he is released to appear at Blagojevich’s trial as the primary witness, everyone expects him to squeal like a pig,” said the Republican politico.

In 2005, Rezko reportedly engaged in a complicated real estate “flip” through which his wife Rita and Obama agreed to split an empty lot adjoining a home that Obama bought in Chicago’s Kenwood district. The deal saw Obama buy the home for $1.65 million, which was $300,00 below market value. Obama then bought a strip of the adjoining property from Mrs. Rezko, a speculative deal that stood to make Obama a handsome profit. Since Rezko’s conviction, the property has has reportedly gone into bankruptcy. Giannoulias’s Broadway Bank was seized by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation on April 23, 2010, reportedly as Secretary of Treasury Tim Geithner was on his way to Chicago to present the bank with a bailout check. Geithner quickly changed his plans.

Giannoulias, Broadway’s then-senior loan officer, has denied being involved in the decision to loan money to Rezko.

Last month, Blagojevich’s trial judge, U.S. District Court judge James Zagel, a crony of former Illinois Republican Governor Jim Thompson, ruled that all 500 hours of phone calls intercepted and taped by Fitzgerald could not be played during Blagojevich’s trial as demanded by Blagojevich and his defense lawyers. Blagojevich demanded that Fitzgerald “show up in court and explain to everybody . . . why you don’t want those tapes that you made played in court.”

WMR has learned that the tapes may contain salty references Obama’s and Emanuel’s private lives.

WMR attempted to interview Blagojevich’s senior defense lawyer Sam Adam to no avail but other informed sources told us that the tapes, if played, would highlight the corruption of not only Obama, Emanuel, and other member of Obama’s Chicago “brain trust” but also Fitzgerald himself. WMR was told that Fitzgerald’s tactics have included providing sex and drugs to imprisoned felons to get them to provide perjured testimony at federal trials.

It is exactly the type of federal prosecutorial misconduct by Fitzgerald that former Republican Governor said was used by state prosecutors when he commuted the death sentences of Illinois’s death row population. Ryan was indicted by Fitzgerald for fraud and he is currently serving out a federal prison sentence.

Blagojevich’s trial is scheduled to begin on June 3 and Fitzgerald’s main interest is to keep the trial focused on Blagojevich, especially after he managed to “flip” Blagojevich’s former chief of staff John Harris to testify against the impeached and ousted governor. WMR learned from informed sources that one lawyer on Harris’s defense team is involved in a gay partner scandal that was discovered by the attorney’s wife.

Some of the wiretaps may reveal that it was not Valerie Jarrett, Obama’s longtime friend and current White House policy adviser who was Obama’s top candidate to fill his U.S. Senate seat, but the young 32-year old “pick up basketball” friend of Obama, Giannoulias, then serving his second year as state Treasurer. However, Obama has avoided campaigning for Giannoulias in Illinois and there are indications that the president has “thrown Giannoulias under the bus,” according to some Democratic political circles in Chicago.

Mutiple Chicago sources report that Republicans who see Giannoulias’s Obama connections as providing an edge in his Senate race this year should not celebrate prematurely. Giannoulias’s GOP opponent, U.S. Representative Mark Kirk, a Naval Reserve intelligence officer, has also been identified as a closeted gay man. Kirk divorced his wife last year after an eight-year marriage. They had no children.

In addition, U.S. Representative Aaron Shock, who took over the House seat vacated by Obama’s Republican Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, is, according to Chicago Boy’s Town sources, a habitué of Minibar, a noted gay bar in Chicago’s gay district. For an extremely young first term member of the House, observers were surprised when GOP Minority Whip Eric Cantor of Virginia named Shock as a Deputy Minority Whip.

I don’t know that you have to worry about Obama being tagged the first GAY president. I think it is more appropriate to call him the first OPENLY PSYCHOPATHIC president. His willingness to exploit people – sexually as well as in other ways – knows no bounds.

I disagree. Psychopathic behavior has been standard for Democrat Presidents since Lyndon Johnson.

The real question is why that party continues to nominate candidates with such serious mental problems. The President has DIRECT control of nuclear weapons. It’s not a place for a lunatic.

This weekend, I’ve had the chance to think about the things I am able to do because of those soldiers who have fought and died to keep this country free. I can come visit my folks and help them with some yard work. I am able to work on my writing and write whatever I want to. I can go to school and work on a Master’s degree in the field of my choice. I can get on the internet and read what my friends at HillBuzz have posted for the day. I can read, period. I can go to barbecues and picnics on Memorial Day.

I have an uncle who served in the Korean War and an uncle who served in the Vietnam War – neither has ever talked much about their experiences and we’ve never pressed them too much about it, but I am grateful for their service. I want to give a big THANK YOU to all the men and women who have sacrificed throughout this country’s history to keep this country free. You are the reason we celebrate today!

It’s a now rainy Monday in Chicago and I’m spending the cleaning up the live music venue directory for my business. I’m able to do this because of the safety and protection our military provides for us which I’m extremely grateful for.

Memorial Day means more to me now than it ever has. There have been years when it became more abstract – not out of disrespect but probably from taking the safety and security of our country for granted. When the economy was flying high and the money was flowing, it was easy to simply enjoy everything and forget the reason why we had that prosperity.

Now that we are in a battle for our country, I don’t think I’ve ever felt what that sacrifice has meant more than I do today.

Thank you very much to our military personnel and their families for your commitment to protecting America.

I don’t believe for one NY minute that these “humanitarians” were bringing food and medicine. They blew through a blockade, despite warnings to come to the port and have their cargo inspected. This was a planned, provoked scene to force Israel to respond. Who the H brings CHILDREN on a boat heading on a potentially dangerous mission? The religion of peace, that’s who. Every single time.

They do this all the time and then the rats cry and wail and LIE to make Israel to look bad. Israel is going to protect itself with or without Obama’s support. If Obama in all his selfish glory thinks it will get Israel to bowl to him he’s going to be sadly mistaken. It will be OBAMA’S fault if this escalated out of control because he acts like a fool.

I have been reading about the incident. It did not happen the way it has been portrayed.

The people on board the flotilla boats were ready for the IDF when they boarded their craft. One Israeli soldier was thrown from the top deck of the boat, and others were attacked in a variety of ways and this was before the Israelis opened fire.

Some of the IDF had paintball guns. They did not go with the intention of killing anyone.

Let’s hope that the real story makes it into the LSM…

Also, how many of you know the background of those behind the flotilla? This includes William Ayers, Bernadine Dorhn and Jodie Evans as well as a group that is already banned in the USA. How many know that prior to the attack these people were chanting “remember the Khyber” and do you know what that entails?… If not it goes back to Mohammed and how he murdered hundreds of Jews…..

Another interesting article about a book soon to be released from A Newsweek reporter on Obama’s 1st year with insight into the inner machinations. One interesting quote:

“Emanuel’s continual F-bombing is also well documented, if not exactly surprising. During the campaign, according to the book, Rahm told Bill Clinton to “stop acting like the fucking hack-in-chief.” Even Bo, the Obamas’ dog, was a recipient of Rahm’s rage. “A few weeks after the first family got a dog, Rahm Emanuel ripped into Bo, whose household accidents were consuming valuable presidential time in cleanups.” Alter reports Rahm saying, “I’m going to kill that fucking dog.” In one meeting with a junior male staffer, Rahm apparently yelled: “Take your fucking tampon out and tell me what you have to say.”

    Guys:
Check out the Palin/Romney thread, #50, lefty troll alert. One of the many attacks seem to be that are under some sort of spell of Palin, now that is projection of the greatest order. You can tell its a lefty/Obot troll, not a Romney supporter, by the nature of the attacks.

I did read on C4P that the Alaska left-wing bloggers are cooperating with Joe McGuiness.

You are right — a halfway literate emissary from Axelrod’s office, no doubt commanding a special remuneration from the White House — or considering how much Big Oil also hates Sarah Palin, is it Obama’s best friend BP? — or or more likely from the Democrats’ all-purpose slush fund, otherwise known as the Stimulus.

Boyz, take it as a sign that you’re really hitting the big time and meriting the personal attention perhaps even of the top people themselves.

Thank you, US military! You all do us PROUD!

Now a remembrance to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

You did your duty and heeded the call,
You put on a uniform to protect us all,
You served with dignity and with pride,
You served with valor ’til that day you died,
Though your loved ones hoped and prayed for your safe return,
Their hopes and prayers were replaced by tears that forever burn,
My words are meant to ackowledge their loss during their
    time of grief and sorrow,
And also to celebrate your life today, and on all the days that follow,
My respect for you and your service is always within,
So I forever honor your sacrifice and service as a proud American,
Though I know this thought could never repay you nor your loved ones too,
I still must thank you, thank you, thank you, and say a prayer for all of you,
God lessen the burdens of those who were left behind,
And keep their dear departed on our collective mind,
Let them all know that we really do care,
And by doing this, may it lessen the sorrows they bare.

My Dad was a Korean War Vet. He didn’t speak about it much except to say he was one of the “lucky ones”. I try to imagine what he felt like as he descended off the gangplank in Seoul, Korea. How did an Iowa farm boy, known for being mischievous and having a happy soul feel on that auspicious day. Was he scared? Did he feel like a fish out of water? Did tears come to his eyes when thinking of all that was familiar back home? I imagine he felt all of those things and more.

He came back home in 1953 and went on to live his life, doing very well for himself and his family. Many he knew or that he may have crossed paths with did not. They sacrificed their lives for the cause of liberty and freedom that so many of us take for granted. Daddy is gone now, but he gave me such an appreciation of the men and women in our military. An appreciation that I am trying to pass on to his grandson.

Our Freedom and Our Liberty has a price that is priceless and yet so many are willing and brave to pay that price. May God keep those who died and protect those who are still fighting safe from harm. And may we who sometimes fall asleep at the wheel of freedom, remain ever vigilant and ever grateful for the awesome gift of sweet liberty.

I, too enjoyed the Memorial Day concert on PBS last night. But will someone please explain why we had to be exposed to Pelosi’s face three different times. And why was she wearing lime green to a patriotic event. Every time they showed her face I had to put my hands over my eyes, like when I see snakes (I hate looking at snakes) but then again she is a snake.

Just heard on the news about the thunderstorm in Ill. where Obama was speaking. Dang it, he took cover before being hit by lightning.

Here are overlooked facts in the current Middle East situation.
These were compiled by a Christian university professor:

BRIEF FACTS ON THE ISRAELI CONFLICT TODAY….
( It takes just a couple of minutes to read!!!! )
It makes sense and it’s not slanted. Jew and non-Jew — it doesn’t matter.

    1. Nationhood and Jerusalem. Israel became a nation in 1312 BCE, Two thousand years before the rise of Islam.
    2. Arab refugees in Israel began identifying themselves as part of a Palestinian people in 1967, two decades after the establishment of the modern State of Israel.
    3. Since the Jewish conquest in 1272 BCE, the Jews have had dominion over the land for one thousand years with a continuous presence in the land for the past 3,300 years.
    4. The only Arab dominion since the conquest in 635 CE lasted no more than 22 years.
    5. For over 3,300 years, Jerusalem has been the Jewish capital Jerusalem has never been the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. Even when the Jordanians occupied Jerusalem, they never sought to make it their capital, and Arab leaders did not come to visit.
    6. Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 times in Tanach, the Jewish Holy Scriptures. Jerusalem is not mentioned once in the Koran.
    7. King David founded the city of Jerusalem. Mohammed never came to Jerusalem.
    8. Jews pray facing Jerusalem. Muslims pray with their backs toward Jerusalem.
    9. Arab and Jewish Refugees: in 1948 the Arab refugees were encouraged to leave Israel by Arab leaders promising to purge the land of Jews. Sixty-eight percent left without ever seeing an Israeli soldier.
10 The Jewish refugees were forced to flee from Arab lands due to Arab brutality, persecution and pogroms.
    11. The number of Arab refugees who left Israel in 1948 is estimated to be around 630,000. The number of Jewish refugees from Arab lands is estimated to be the same.
    12. Arab refugees were INTENTIONALLY not absorbed or integrated into the Arab la nds to which they fled, despite the vast Arab territory. Out of the 100,000,000 refugees since World War II, theirs is the only refugee group in the world that has never been absorbed or integrated into their own people’s lands. Jewish refugees were completely absorbed into Israel, a country no larger than the state of New Jersey .
    13. The Arab-Israeli Conflict: the Arabs are represented by eight separate nations, not including the Palestinians. There is only one Jewish nation. The Arab nations initiated all five wars and lost. Israel defended itself each time and won.
    14. The PLO’s Charter still calls for the destruction of the State of Israel. Israel has given the Palestinians most of the West Bank land, autonomy under the Palestinian Authority, and has supplied them.
    15. Under Jordanian rule, Jewish holy sites were desecrated and the Jews were denied access to places of worship. Under Israeli rule, all Muslim and Christian sites have been preserved and made accessible to people of all faiths.
    16. The UN Record on Israel and the Arabs: of the 175 Security Council resolutions passed before 1990, 97 were directed against Israel.
    17. Of the 690 General Assembly resolutions voted on before 1990, 429 were directed againstIsrael.
    18. The UN was silent while 58 Jerusalem Synagogues were destroyed by the Jordanians.
    19. The UN was silent while the Jordanians systematically desecrated the ancient Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives.
    20. The UN was silent while the Jordanians enforced an apartheid-like a policy of preventing Jews from visiting the Temple Mount and the Western Wall.

I don’t think people are realizing the brevity of this situation. Obama has put a target on Israel’s back with his childish antics and this could spiral out of control in a major, major way.

My BF who is an NCO in the military is extremely concerned about this situation. Whenever he has told me “something is big” he has been right.

This is sooo important. If we do not pay attention and become doers, call our representatives, send them emails, send them emails like this, and support the Republicans and combat the OFA machine we are going to lose in November.

If we lose in November then 2012 won’t matter.

Just one of the evil things they’re up to…The OFA (Organizing for America) placed 922 calls to Scott Brown’s office in the two hours before the Senate voted on Wall Street reform, and he CAVED.

And the GOP ‘leadership’ is, as usual asleep at the wheel.
      WTF???
