Media Manipulation Alert: Democrat Media Urges Ron Paul to Run as a Third Party Candidate

Posted on October 29, 2011 by Kathleen Gee // 2012 Elections, Lamestream Media, Tea Party, The Left

GOP Frontrunner Ron PaulIf you are a low-information voter, and get all your data about the GOP field from the tee vee and dinosaur media, you have been told for the past 5 years that GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul is completely unelectable. He’s a zero! Move along, nothing to see here.

If that’s true–and Ron Paul stands no chance–why is the Democrat-controlled media doing everything in its power to derail Ron Paul’s campaign? Why does the Democrat-Controlled Media feature GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul in just 2% of news stories about the GOP field, when he consistently polls between 10% and 13% (and conversely, why is Rick Perry #1 in news coverage when he only polls at 8%?)

The latest attempt to deep-six the candidacy of GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul is a blog post in The Hill, in which a writer who was previously hostile to Ron Paul is suddenly calling for him to run as a third party candidate. Brent Budowsky writes breathlessly,

It has been said of Mitt Romney that he has been a liberal, a moderate and a conservative. What will the next Mitt Romney be? Is there any serious conservative who trusts him? Of course not. If Ron Paul runs for president as a third-party candidate against Obama and Romney, he changes the entire dynamic of the campaign and totally transforms the national debate….Ron Paul would pick up significant new support running against two establishment figures such as Obama and Romney. He would win support from a wide tier of voters who would see Romney as a distrusted, establishment, old-Wall Street and banking country-club Republican.

Whaaaaa? If Ron Paul is so wonderful compared to Mittens Romneycare (and he is!) and can beat Obama (which he can!), why the hell would he, or anyone, want him to run as a guaranteed loser third-party candidate?

Oh, that’s right–to ensure that Mittens Romneycare is the nominee.

I suspect that the internal polls that are being conducted by the Obama Regime (I mean, Campaign) are showing that GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul can beat Teh Won, especially if disaffected black voters stay home on election day–and Mittens Romneycare can’t.

Ron Paul is in a dead heat with Barack Hussein Obama in many GOP preference polls. In the most recent survey I could find, Ron Paul beats BHO 47% to 28% among independents. And in many states, like New Hampshire, there are more registered Independents than Republicans or Democrats.

GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul has raised over $12,000,000 in campaign contributions, 96% of which come from grassroots individual donors, making him #3 in fundraising behind Mittens and Perry–despite the media blackout. Most recently, Ron Paul supporters raised nearly $3 million during a 5-day Money Bomb, from 44,000 individual donors.

Ron Paul’s top 3 sources of donations are members of the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army and U.S. Navy. He receives more donations from active duty military than all other GOP candidates combined.

And the GOP strategist show below says, “Ron Paul could win–he could win the nomination” because Perry is a flash in the pan, Cain is a neophyte, and “Romney can’t get through the South on Super Tuesday.”

So, the moral of the story is: DON’T LET THE DEMOCRAT-CONTROLLED MEDIA PICK YOUR CANDIDATE.

If they want Ron Paul to run a third-party campaign, there’s a reason for that–and the reason (whatever it is) is bad news for the GOP.

The Republicans should start suggesting the Democrats run a moderate Democratic candidate, say Perry, or Romney who could win the office over Obama. I could vote for a moderate Democrat, there are many of them in the Republican party and I am sure there are many in the Democratic party. Heck they had Zell Miller. He would have been much better than McCain, Romney, or Perry or Huntsman. The Democrats could win with a real moderate.

I have been saying for ages that conservatives need to start covertly invading the Democratic party like liberals infiltrated the republican party. Just say one thing and vote another, they do it all the time. And moreover your average Democrat is far less literate than those of the GOP should the deception should be even easier to hide. It shoudl be obvious that this is the last stand of the conservative GOP, the GOP will be wiped out demographically soon, the only hope for this country is to infiltrate the Democrats and start balkanizing it from within, like has happened to the GOP.

      Izzy, your analysis is brilliant.

Globalists, Marxists and socialists started infiltrating the Democrat party before World War I, and they have never, ever stopped in their bid to rot the party from within. And Barack Hussein Obama is proof that they have succeeded.

Democrats major in things like psychology, that is why they are such good manipulators. It amazes me that so many republicans are being manipulated by them into believing they must nomiate a moderate to win the general election. What the republican party need is a hard core conservative. With all these dirty hippies reating chaos in major liberal cities I think a law and order republican might even begin to look good to many life long democrats.

Of course they want him to run third party, that would ensure an Obama 2nd term. Far more R's would vote for Ron Paul than would D's. The outcome would be something like:
    BO – 40%
    RP – 33%
    MR – 27%

What if all the other candidates in the republican feild, Sarah Palin and Donald Trump supporteed Paul over Romney or any third party challenger to Romney. The republicans need to reclaim their brand as true conservatives. Don't forget that there will be another election in 2016 and Romney could easily be beaten by a far left liberal. Americans will blame the republican party for the disasterous policies Romeney would support. They won't care that he is about as republican as Che or Castro. America is in grave danger. Both Obama and Romney are financed by the same dangerous forces of evil. Don't fall for it. I will not vote for Romeny or any other son of a polygamist.

The third party meme is probably coming from the fact that Ron Paul stated that he "has no 'intention' of running as a third party candidate….it would undermine the current campaign for president" Friday on Fox News Special Report interview on Friday. He refused to "pledge" to not run in the capacity when specifically asked.
What does that mean? I don't know.

Kathleen, can I ask you some questions? First though let me tell you where I am right now. I was full on for Sarah Palin, but since she announced she would not be running I have been looking for someone to get behind. Honestly, and I would have never thought I would be saying this, but Ron Paul is the only one in the current field of GOPers that I agree with most. There are some issues that I have with him but the reality is that there will never be a 100% perfect candidate. So, I have to weigh out the good points and the bad points. Here are my questions:
Where does RP stand on Islam and Muslims as a whole? Does he view them as a threat or does he think that they are good people who just want us to leave them alone?
Is he or isn't he a 9/11 Truther?
Does he stand with Israel or does he want them to fend for themselves?
Any comments you have on these questions would be very much appreciated. By the way, I've Googled these things but I get mixed results.
    Thank you

If you are a great American, your #1 goal should be to get Obuma out!

Let Ron Paul run and compete with the rest of the "R's" If he can't win the nomination to run against Obuma, then he sure can't win as a third party candidate.

    Hi JMC,

Excellent questions. So excellent, in fact, that you inspired me write a whole article, The Truth About Ron Paul's Foreign Policy, which will go live on October 30th. Watch for it. :)

I think any out come is possible in the republican primary election. But what if the establishment left papeaseing cocktail party manipulates the out come in the same way that the DNC and RBC stole the nomination from HRC and gave it to OBurka? Would that, could that be a cause for a movement: or We athe People Party. I often said that the Clintons should have just burned down the party at the 2008 democrat convention. Insteaed they decided to position themselves in Obama's fundamental tranformation of America and the world.
Would Mitt Romney really work to reverse the statist -shariah bankers movement towards global government? I say he would not. So what if the real conservatives created a party that is truly theirs.
I wouls think that all the candidates in the republican line up would support that new party if Romney was the republican nominee. I think that Sarah Palin has been thinking about it. She said that she would not seek the republican nomination. She never said she would not run for president. I think it would be good if Romney were at least scared by this propect would make it completely impossible for him to win the presidency and could result in a ground swell of support for a new and truly conservative party.

Kathleen. I like Herman Cain but I have no idea how to vet a business man. I do my own vetting of candidates, that is why I left eh democrat party when they gave the nomination to Obama. But I don't know where to go to get real data on Herman Cain. I don't remember him supporting McCain Palin over Obama or even Hillary over Obama. I can only take him on his word and that is never a good idea for voters. Do you have any suggestions. I support people like Sarah palin, Michelle Bachmann and Ron Paul because their records support their words. Help me believe in Herman Cain if you would.,

      Hey Posercom,

I refuse to believe that only professional politicians have what it takes to hold an executive position in government.

Sarah Palin was a housewife before she ran for, and won, her first political office. Ron Paul was an OB/GYN when he first ran for Congress. Ronald Reagan was a B-list actor when he ran for Governor of California.

      They all turned out okay.

Successful CEOs are expert delegators. I have no doubt that Herman Cain could pick a better group of advisors than the cadre of yes-men and "basketball buddies" that surrounds Barack Hussein Obama, the worst president in the history of this country, who served in the Illinois legislature and in the U.S. Senate before stealing winning the presidency. And how did that work out for us?

Thank you Kathleen but still I am lost on how to vet Herman Cain. I also love the idea of a business man or M.D. (some one with real skills) as our presiednt. Cain is running for president of the U.S not major of Wasila Alaska or for Congress in Texas. The people of Wasila new Sarah Palin personally. I am sure that is also true of any of Ron Pauls constituents, heck he probably delievered many of them. But for me Herman Cain is a stranger. How do I know he will not sell outwhen given power. I know that Palin, Bachmann and Paul never did because of thier records in public office. I still am confused over how to vet a businessman, but I truly want to learn because business men have real skills.

I don't think anyone here is questioning if Cain or ever Micky Mouse would be better than Obama the absolute worst president that is dictator the world has ever known.
