*********************************************************

I’m watching the first presidential debate for those of you who can’t and/or don’t want to.  I am the most unbiased and accurate political writer around, so I intend this to be a detailed historical account of the debate that also happens to be as full of my personal opinion and emotions as everything that’s printed in the corrupt, vintage media.  I already know that the Ministry of Truth (Minitrue, for short) will be in high-spin cycle claiming that Obama won this debate…because they started that months before the debate was even held.  Minitrue is desperate for Obama to win reelection so if I was you I’d try to watch this on CSPAN like I’m doing because you’ll have as little exposure to talking heads working for Minitrue as possible.

This is my second straight day of calling the media “Minitrue” after first establishing they are corrupt and vintage.  I am liking it so far.  I know that a lot of people not familiar with either 1984 or Newspeak won’t get it, but it’s so fitting for these pro-Obama propagandists.  Never in my lifetime have I seen people who claim to be “reporters” or “journalists” fall over themselves in service to a President.  In the past, these people wanted to make names for themselves by exposing the President’s dark secrets and cover-ups…but now they only want to prove which amongst them love him the most.  It’s beyond creepy.

The scariest thing is, I might actually really be the most unbiased and accurate political writer around because look at the agents of Minitrue that surround me.  I haven’t decided who won the debate tonight, yet, before it’s actually begun and will report honestly on it as it unfolds. If Obama does well, I will say so.  If Romney makes any mistakes, I will tell you.  I am not in love with either of these men and though I do want Romney to win the election he’s been an acquired taste for me.  I started off this presidential race vociferously opposing his nomination mainly because I don’t like a lot of his supporters and operatives and because I felt he’d been running since the day after McCain lost in 2008.  It’s taken a while for me to like Mitt Romney…but now I actually do.

You know what really sealed the deal for me?  The day that Ann Romney’s plane had engine trouble/cabin smoke and Mitt raced to meet her at the airfield.  I saw footage of him impatiently struggling to stand still as the plane taxied up and the doors opened to let Ann out onto the tarmac.  Every cell in this man’s being ached to hold his wife and make sure she was safe.  And when they hugged, it was epic.  The love was real and palpable and I almost had to look away because it was a private moment with him so thrilled she was alive and well and safe.  And Ann’s response was the same in that she was so happy she got to see her husband again.  I have not witnessed two people more in love who care so much about each other since Nancy lost her Ronnie.

Since I grew up in the 80s with the Reagans in the White House, seeing Mitt and Ann like this rushed waves of nostalgia over me. I felt safe and secure as a kid with President Reagan standing up to America’s enemies and smacking down bullies.  I was too young to remember Jimmy Carter, but people on the street still spat whenever they’d hear his name.  I want the kids I know to only vaguely remember Barack Obama someday and to grow up with the Romneys in the White House and a country very much back on track and repairing all the damage of the last four years.

I won’t even start on how awesome Paul Ryan is and what a terrific (and adorable) Vice President he’ll be.  He’s a future President too, so it’s exciting to think that if Romney/Ryan work hard and keep their promises to us that this country could have recovery and stability for the next 16 years with the two of them.  There is nothing I’d like to see more.

Minitrue has been breeding Eeyores in conservative ranks like CRAZY lately…and Tokyo Roses who claim to be conservative writers like Erik Erikson, George Will, Peggy Noonan, David Frum and others have relentlessly pushed Minitrue’s propaganda points to as many Republicans as possible who are still so stupid that they listen to these people.  The fact is that Barack Obama is losing this race and that through these debates Mitt Romney has the opportunity to show Americans that, like Reagan before him, he indeed is ready, able, and willing to step up and take on the awesome responsibility of making this country great again.

Tonight’s the first step in this process.  I might not have always liked Mitt Romney, but I support him with my whole heart tonight. I am rooting for him and hope you are too.  I am doing nothing else from now until Election Day to help, in my own ways, elect Romney to the presidency.  I feel tonight’s debate will be part of history and hope this LIVE-STREAM-TRANSCRIPT benefits your understanding of the race.

Please share it with anyone you know who’d like it, or who missed the debate.

Check back at 8pm CST when things get underway!

*************************************************

513pm CST — Just saw this on Breitbart and found it interesting.  Obama had directed his acolytes to take to Facebook and Twitter to sing his praises during the debate tonight.  Let’s see if that happens.  If this effort is a total bust, that means Obama is out of political juice.  Kind of like the Wicked Witch summoning her flying monkeys and only a few bald, featherless, globs show up for duty.

*************************************************

549pm CST — I’m about to go on LIVE guest hosting Larry Sinclair’s Through the Mirror Radio show...6pm – 7pm CST…and one of the things I’m going to talk about is the speculation here in Chicago that Obama’s been going through drug withdrawal the last month or two in preparation for this debate.  People look at him, see the weight loss, factor in the weird things he’s been saying and notice how he generally looks like Hell.  It looks like Valerie Jarrett — who manages Obama’s drug use and access to gay sex — was actually exiled for a while because the current President didn’t like having no said to him when he wanted more coke (and not the effervescent, comes in a red and white can kind).  Apparently, they’re going to shoot Obama up with a bunch of Beta-blockers or amphetamines for the debate tonight just so he can make it through an hour and a half with no TelePrompTers.

Let’s see if we can pick up any signs of either the withdrawal or the amphetamines/blockers tonight.

725pm CST —  Sometimes the Ministry of Truth (Minitrue, for short) is just CRAZY.  Here’s an article talking about last night’s Jeremiah Wright tape and the writer actually says at one point that “pundits are predicting an Obama blowout” or something like that.  That would mean that Barack Obama has more support today than he did in 2008…which would require there to be millions more Democrat voters pumped up about this election than four years ago.  THAT IS NOT REALITY.

I know party identification/affiliation numbers are hard for some people to understand, but it’s essentially that in 2008 there were 7-points more Democrats in the country than Republicans when it came to turnout.  That meant that in the year that was this freak perfect storm benefitting the Left, Democrats had 7-points more juice in them than the GOP (which was lackluster for McCain, had never heard of a tea party movement, and saw millions sit out the election to “teach Republicans a lesson or something”).

When Minitrue pretends that Obama will have a “blowout win” it’s just masturbatory wish-casting on their part because it completely ignores the shellacking that Democrats received in 2010.  The latest numbers I’ve seen show a Republican advantage of 3-points this time out. That means things have switched place by ten points since Obama won (eliminating the 7-point advantage for Democrats and now giving a 3-point advantage to Republicans).

How on Earth can Obama win when things have changed this much since 2008 when the only way he’d win is if MORE people loved him than back in the days when he was filling stadiums with wide-eyed, crying cultists who declared him “The Lightbringer” and “The One” in a styrofoam Greek temple in Denver?

Makes. No. Sense.

742pm CST — I really am enjoying the articles written by DaTechGuy’s Peter Imgeni.  He’s collecting a lot of data showing just how Minitrue manipulates poll samples to get the results they want.  Today, a poll came out showing a ridiculous Obama blowout in New Hampshire…as if people woke up today and realized they loved Barack Obama more than their own children and then promptly sacrificed their offspring in his name as service to “The One”.  Stephen King would have to move to the Granite State and start writing about the place for something like this to be true.

One thing Imgeni said that I never heard before today was that while Minitrue lies for months and weeks before the election…a few days before voting takes place there is “Media Credibility Day”, which might be Imgeni’s own term as I’ve never heard it before.  This is the day that Minitrue actually puts out the correct numbers.  It is usually the day before the election.  This way, after the voting takes place, they can cite this last poll as proof they are credible because it will match the actual voting.  Everything else was lies to benefit Democrats and propaganda designed to help Obama’s campaign…but the final polls will be as accurate as Minitrue will allow so that pollsters can later claim to know what they are doing.

Factor in the reality that not just Republicans but the general public is largely amnesiac (especially if their side ends up winning) and Minitrue counts on the fact that no one will ever call them on this.

So they will lather, rinse, and repeat next time.

I don’t know about you, but I am sick of this.  Beginning November 7th I intend to go for the throats of every conservative writer who has been spreading gloom and doom during this election and citing Minitrue reports as the basis for this Tokyo Rose behavior.  I want to see Erik Erikson at RedState.com in particular publicly shamed for his Eeyore-breeding behavior and all the damage he did in the lead up to the election by insisting that Minitrue was right and our own eyes and ears on the ground deceived us.

I just refuse to accept this garbage and see it happen again for the next election cycle that begins on November 7th.

I really hope you are with me on this.

****************************************************

752pm CST — I tuned into CSPAN and Jim Lehrer is telling people to be quiet and behave themselves. I swear, he looked directly at Michelle Antoinette Obama and said “so make any noises you want to make now, but be quiet during the debate”.  It was bizarre…but necessary I guess.  He sort of regards her as one of those barnyard Speak-n-Says that is liable to burp or fart or something at any moment during the live televised event.  How sad.

Jim Lehrer also practiced saying his own name a bunch of times.  He’s practicing using the TelePrompTer.  For the life of me I don’t know why people need to use these.  It’s not that hard to talk extemporaneously if you know your stuff.  My goodness…people managed to do this for centuries before these little idiot box crutches were invented.

*****************************************************

800pm CST — Debate Begins in Denver.  I’m covering it live in Chicago.  Tell us in comments where YOU are and what you expect from tonight.

This is to be about domestic issues.  6 segments of 15 minutes.  Then some open discussion.  Lehrer decides what questions to ask himself. Economy. Healthcare. Role of Governing.

Lehrer’s eyes are black and beady…like a shark’s.

Obama comes out and grabs for Romney’s arm and caresses it.  Weird.  This ain’t the bathhouse, Barry…no grabbies allowed!

Q: What are major differences about creating jobs?

Starts off by saying this is his wedding anniversary.  Calls her “sweetie” the way Steadman says it to Oprah all the time.

#cspan2012 is flashed across the screen.  I guess this is a thing now.

Twitter mystifies me.

Obama’s makeup looks weird tonight…his hands are so frail and even skeletal.

There are dark circles under his eyes.

Romney looks great!  He congratulates Obama on his anniversary and says “I’m sure it’s very romantic for you to be here with me”.  Ha ha.

Talks about a woman talking to him about being unemployed.

Romney’s in a red tie and Obama is in a blue tie. Both are wearing shiny suits.  Their hair is styled.  I mention this because idiots always go on for PARAGRAPHS about what female politicians look like, how much they weigh, and what they are wearing.  So I do this to the male ones.

R:  small businesses are down to 30 year low.  I know what it takes to get business running again and hiring people.  Don’t need trickle down bigger government.  Need to restore vitality to make America work again.

O: Improve education system.  We made progress drawing on ideas that are showing gains…Race to the Top.  Raise standards in training teachers and hire 100,000 more math and science teachers and new community colleges.  Keep tuition low.  Tax code, corporate rate too high.  Lower to 25% for manufacturing.  Close loopholes that ship jobs overseas.  On Energy, boost production.  Oil and natural gas production higher than they have been in years.  Wind, solar, biofuel investments.  How to deal with tax code, reduce spending and make investments.  Accuses Romney of big tax cuts and military spending of $8 trillion without dumping costs on middle class.

– Note: Obama does not seem to be on drugs right now.  But he is being dull and boring.  He looks like a frail, older, black woman in drag-king gear up there. No energy from him.

R:  I don’t have a tax cut like that.  We need middle class tax relief.  High income people doing just fine.  People having a hard time are middle income Americans.  They are being buried and crushed (nod to Biden’s remarks this week).  This is a crushing economy tax.  Gas prices double, food up, healthcare up by $2,500 per family.  Need trade, energy, help small business.  Future of economy is important.  Too much overhead.  Get dollars to states and get workers training.  Need to bring tax rates down.  Don’t lose revenue by lower deductions and credits and exemptions.  Energy is critical…all of increase in gas and oil has happened on private land, not government land.  Obama cut permits and allowances in half.  I will bring in the Keystone Pipeline.  I will burn clean coal. You are crushing the coal industry.  Want energy independence.  I am not cutting massive taxes and reducing revenues to government.  No tax cut that adds to deficit but will reduce the burden of middle income Americans.

Romney has high energy.

During the time Obama’s not speaking, he slumps down and stares at the podium like he’s asleep.  When Romney’s not speaking, he stands there smiling and listening to Obama.

***************************************************

824pm CST — Obama invokes Bill Clinton and says he would do what Clinton did with the economy and create a surplus, or something.

Romney hits back that last four years are evidence that Obama has no idea what he is doing.  Do not need more of the same.  Do not continue the status quo.

Romney says that he will end Obamacare, stop subsidies to PBS, will not spend money from China on programs we don’t need.  Must make cuts.  Make government more efficient.  Cut through attrition.  Get to a balanced budget.  Obama doubled the deficit for the last four years.  As much debt as all presidents combined.

Obama:  Bush left me a trillion in deficit.  There were programs and stuff not paid for and then Bush left an economic crisis so this is not my fault.  Let’s make sure we cut things out that don’t help us grow.  I cut out aircraft for the Air Force and got rid of some education programs and Medicare/Medicaid fraud.  I worked with Republicans and Democrats to cut out of our budget.  We gotta do more.  I have a $4 trillion reduction plan on some website.  Go look at it.  $2.50 for cuts we need $1 in revenue from people who will contribute it and I have asked them to do it.  I call it the Bart Simpson Commission or something.

When this Romney stood on the stage with some other people for the nomination he said that he would not take any cuts for revenue and he is unbalanced and he guts schools and he’s hurting seniors in nursing homes and disabled kids.

Romney: First off, it’s Simpson Bowles.  I have my own plans.  He’s been president for four years.  He said he would cut the deficit in half but he keeps added to the deficit.  He claims he found $4 trillion in cuts but we still have a deficit every year.  That is not getting the job done.  In 2010, Obama was going to extend the tax policies we had.  The economy is going much more slowly now.  You cannot raise taxes on people now.  Small businesses are taxed like individuals.  You can’t raise taxes because you kill jobs.

The revenue I get is by more people working, getting higher pay, and paying more tax as a result.  You can’t just raise taxes.  Look at Spain.  42% of their economy is spent on Govenrment.  I don’t want to go on a path to Spain.

Obama:  Hey, my wife loves vacationing in Spain.  Had a fabulous time.  There are areas we can make a change.  The oil industry gets billions a year in corporate welfare.  Does anyone think ExxonMobile needs extra money.  Why not eliminate that?  What about corporate jets?  Make them pay more.  They are rich!  Romney does not identify the loopholes or whatever.  Well, I won’t give tax breaks to shipping plants overseas. Let’s help young people go to college. I met a teacher at the slots in Las Vegas and she has 42 kids in the class and she makes them sit on the floor and read textbooks that are ten years old.  Budgets reflect choices.  If we have no revenue then we need to make more people sit on the floor. We have severe hardships for people.  If you shift Medicaid to states, then it is like a cut in that over time or something.  That might be a deal and a sheet of paper and (mumbles), it is a big problem and you need to be creative and some people don’t get help.

Romney: Wow, that was a lot of topics there to schools and oil and Medicaid and going overseas.  Let’s go at them one by one.  You provided $90 billion in breaks to green energy world…that is 50 years’ worth of the breaks that oil and gas gets.  If we get the tax rate down to 25% then everything is on the table.  You put breaks into Solyndra, and Tesla and Solar One.  You didn’t pick winners and losers…you picked only losers. I have no idea what you are talking about if you think we get a break for shipping jobs overseas.  We have incentives for brining money back here to the US.  Medicaid and Medicare, you will get what you got last year plus inflation and you will manage it at the state level.  Governors can care for their own poor better than the federal government doing that.  States are the laboratories of democracy.  Don’t have the federal government tell people things.  States get in trouble and the feds can see if they can help them but let’s let the states take care of themselves.

– Economy Segment –

840pm CST — Obama:  social security, I’ve heard of that.  It’s structurally sound.  Tip O’Neil is a name I remember.  Medicare is what I was told to talk about.  My grandmother was a white woman and she’s dead now. She was fiercely independent and became the VP of a bank with no education because she worked all her life and then they made her that.  I bring that perspective.  Entitlements mean dependency. My grandmother liked entitlements.  She died three days before I was elected president.  There are billions I save in medicare by no longer overpaying insurance companies and providers. I lowered the drugs for seniors and made dents in things.  The way to deal with Medicare is to lower healthcare costs.  You don’t need a major change for the future.

Romney — our seniors depend on these programs.  Every time we talk about entitlements we are afraid that changes will hurt them.  I propose no changes for seniors now.  This is for younger people.  Obama is proposing changes for Medicare…for current retirees he’s cutting $716 billion from the program.  He’s cutting the rates….some 15% of patients won’t be seen…we have $4 million people who will lose Medicare advantage. How can you cut Medicare $716 billion?  He is putting one dollar back in for every 716 he cuts.  Medicare and social security will be there for young people under my program.

(Obama is smiling and being bratty during this)

Obama:  Romney wants to turn Medicare into a voucher program and I don’t support that.  If you are 54 or 55 then this will affect you.  This was that guy Ryan’s idea who is your running mate.  This is telling people to go to some marketplace and buy their own insurance.  That will cost people $6,000 a year.  That’s a problem.  Insurance companies will recruit healthier seniors and let the other ones die.  Then everything collapses like when my grandmother died.  Vouchers are not the way to go.  A-R-P says that this is bad and benefits would be affected.  If you repeal Obamacare — and I am fond of that term because that is my name — then you would be making people pay co-pays and whatever.

847pm CST — Romney says there will be at least two plans. No one is paying any $6000 dollars and that is not happening.  People can get either Medicare or a private plan and I would rather have the private plan because I don’t want the government telling me what to do.  Have higher income people get lower benefits so that lower income people get more benefits.  This is an idea that came from the Clinton years too…get people more choices, better plans, and have competition for getting the best deals.

Obama:  private insurers want to make a profit and so there are higher administrative costs to private plans.

Romney:  My opinion is the private sector can always get a better product than the government.

– Regulation –

Romney:  Regulation is essential in a free market. You can’t have people making their own banks in their garage.  At the same time, regulation can be excessive.

851pm CST — Lehrer seems to be trying to grill Romney.  Badgering him.  He does not do this to Obama.  Romney handles it very well.

Romney:  Dodd Frank gave a big kiss to New York banks.  122 small banks have closed because of Dodd Frank.

Lehrer:  SCHEMAS:  YOU WANT TO REPEAL DODD FRANK.

Lehrer cuts Romney off and essentially tells him to shut up and then gives it to Obama. This was so weird.

Obama (who is never rushed or interrupted):  Banks are making big profits while the system is vulnerable.  I made the toughest reforms on Wall Street since the 1930s.  You need a living will so you can’t make bad bets.  All the help we provide the banks needs to be paid back with interest.  Romney wants to repeal Dodd Frank and we need a marketplace with regulation.  The question is, does anyone think there was too much oversight and regulation of Wall Street?  If you do then Romney is your candidate.

Romney: That is just not the fact.  We need regulation but we should not designate five banks as too big to fail.  That is killing regional and small banks.  We need to stop giving mortgages to people who are not qualified.  Dodd Frank does not take care of this. It’s been too years and people are reluctant to make loans because Dodd Frank does not specify what is clear regulation.  I will make sure we don’t hurt the functioning of our marketplace.

Lerher interrupts Romney again.  Calls it “Affordable Care Act”.

Romney:  Repeal Obamacare.  Woman told me she can’t afford insurance for her and her son.  Small businesses dropping insurance because they can’t afford it. Cost is prohibitive.  When you look at Obamacare, will cost $2,500 more than regular insurance.  Expensive Obamacare.  Hurts families.  It cuts $716 billion from Medicare.  Obamacare has an unelected board deciding people’s treatment.  Small business less likely to hire people because of Obamacare.  Unemployment and no jobs but Obama focused on Obamacare.  Craft plans at state level to fit needs of state…then get costs down.  Get rid of $2,500 premium that hurts families.

Obama: uses phrase “jerk you around” at 850pm CST.  Funny sound clip of him. Must be having flashbacks to Man’s Country.  Obama talks about how kids can stay on their parents’ insurance longer.  Now praises Romney for Romneycare in Massachusetts…claims that obamacare won’t destroy the country either.

Lehrer is playful and adoring towards Obama…but is antagonistic to Romney.  Romney has to debate both Lehrer and Obama.

Romney: You passed through a plan without any Republican votes.  You pushed through what you and Pelosi and Reid thought best.  In Massachusetts we worked together…only two people voted against the plan.  We didn’t put in a board to decide treatments.  We didn’t take money from Medicare.  We didn’t put people in the position where they would lose their insurance. This is why people don’t’ want Obamacare.  A bipartisan plan was swept aside.  Something this big needs to be done in a bipartisan way.

Obama:  This was a bipartisan idea.  This was a Republican idea.  Fact of the matter is that we used the same advisors you did and its’ the same plan.  This board is a group of doctors and other experts who want to reduce the cost of the system overall.  One way would be to let people fend for themselves and that has been the trend line or how do we make the cost of care more affordable.  Cleveland Clinic provides great care cheaper.  If patient comes in, let’s do one test instead of doing ten tests.  Let’s do preventive care.  Lets’ pay providers based on performance and instead of how many procedures.  Board identifies best practices.  Let’s institutionalize all the good things we do.  When Obamcare is fully implemented.  We will show that costs will go down.  Health care premiums are going up but maybe that will change.  Romney says that we should replace Obamacare with something but he has not described what to replace it with.  We can’t leave this to the states.  There’s no indication that will let people with preexisting insurance . This will result in 50 million people losing insurance.

Romney:  Preexisting conditions covered.  Young people can stay on their parents plans  That’s already in private market.  Get the costs down.  More affordable.  No unelected board to decide your treatments.  Government is not effective in bringing down the cost of anything.  Free people are more effective in bringing down costs than government.  Private market.  Enterrpises compete with one another.  Creativity and innovation exist in American people.  We do not need a board. We need plans and providers and doctors on target with performance pay.

Obama: There is a reason that Romney set up his plan in Massachusetts.  He says he will replace it with something but not detail it.  (He keeps repeating this, like it’s all he was told to say).  He’s going to close loopholes but we don’t know the details.  He won’t tell us his details.  He says he will replace Obamacare but the good things will be in it.  Why is he keeping things secret?  Are they too good?  No, the reason he keeps secrets is because he is bad.  These are tough problems and I benefit middle class families.

Lehrer tries not letting Romney talk again.

Romney:  I wil work like Ronald Reagan working with Tip O’Neil.  I have principles of leadership and will work with Congress. How do we bring down deductions.  There are many models to follow. You can’t come in and say this is my way or the highway.  I have a plan dealing with people who have preexisting conditions.  The federal government pushing aside the tenth amendment is not the course for America.

— Role of Government Segment –

912pm CST — How do you view the federal government?

Obama: keep people safe.  I am the Commander in Chief.  I work in the Oval Office.  The federal government has ladders and they give them to people to succeed. Americans are free to be geniuses if they want.  Work on ideas.  Make own decisions.  I am saying the name Abraham Lincoln now to make people associate him with me.  Let’s start the intercontinental railroad.  Let’s start land grant colleges.  Give opportunities.  Enhance freedom.  Race to the Top.  Not top down.  There are like 56 states around the country where good things are happening.  Hard pressed states can’t succeed. There are layoffs of teachers and Romney says we don’t need no teachers but me do!  We need better trained workforces.

Romney: I love great schools.  Massachusetts schools are #1 of all 50 states.  Every school district needs good teachers.  The role of government should be limited to protecting principles of Constitution and Bill of Rights.  Maintain strength of military.  Maintain commitment to religious tolerance and freedom. Pursue happiness as we choose.  Care for people who are less fortunate and who are elderly and have challenges and are disabled.  Look for the things that pursue happiness.  Right to pursue their dreams.  What we are seeing right now is a trickle down government approach that thinks government is better than free people pursuing dreams.  We have gone from 32 million on food stamps to 45 million on food stamps.  The path we are taking is not working.

Lehrer:  Why can’t you be specific?

Romney:  Education should be at the state and local level and the federal government should listen to that.  I believe the kids getting federal dollars from IEDA or Title I should go to the child and let the parent decide where to send the kid, not the government.

Obama:  Federal government should decide education.  Budgets matter because they reflect choices. Romney wants to cut all those taxes and initiate cuts to federal support for education.  That Congressman Ryan wants to cut things and he does not give details.  When it comes to community colleges we see great work done all over the country.  We train people for jobs that exist right now.  They design the training programs to fill jobs and that needs federal support. Obama then claims that Romney thinks everyone can borrow money from parents to go to college.

(Obama keeps talking over time…and Lehrer allows it but chides Romney if Romney does it).

Romney: You are entitled to your own airplane and your own house but not your own facts.   Talks about all the $90 billion that was wasted on solar companies…that would have paid for a lot of teachers.  Money wasted and went to campaign contributors.  Government should not be picking winners and losers.  Let’s grade our schools.  Take child to more successful school.  Massachusetts schools are number one in nation.

Lehrer:  We only have three minutes left. I’ve done a poor job as moderator.  We have lost a pod and I can’t find it and there are three minutes left and I don’t know what to do now.

Closing remarks:

Obama:  claims that he works every day to fight for the American people.  As he says this, I have to stop myself from laughing because what about all those golfing and vacation days?  He is not fighting any day for anyone…unless he is fighting with Michelle over hunky secret service guys.

Romney:  Has a great closing.  Says he will get rid of Obamacare and save the money that Obama would plunder from it.  Would prevent military cuts.

Most of Romney’s sons are there.  Michelle is wearing a weird purple thing that looks like a pillow in the back.  Obamas leave the stage quickly while the Romney family is still up there.  Ann and Mitt waive to crowd and there are lots of cheers.  Obamas are disappeared off stage.

Looking forward to debate, live in Denver and went to a Romney rally on Monday night. Took my partner who is staunchly under the gay spell that Republicans want us in concentration camps. The crowd at the rally was HUGE, was very exciting to get to attend. My partner was shocked that as we left the rally holding hands, no one threw pig blood on us.

Romney…designating 5 banks as too big to fail is giving them a blank check brilliant!

Borrowing money from China for things we don’t need (like PBS) brilliant!

His explainations are clear and understandable, not political lingo.

Obamas lips are turning blue, which they do when he’s mad. He does it in every debate, when (that one time) reporters give him a hard question, and especially during the exchange when Paul Ryan obliterated him during the healthcare summitpalooza.

Tick-tock…..I hope I can stay awake to watch this. I’m also hoping that the Obama portions aren’t taken over by the Charlie Brown teacher voice (which is what happens to me EVERY time I hear Obama speak—waaaah, wah wah wah waaaah–I never can focus on more that 2 sentences without this happening)

I’ll also be watching the C-Span feed (I’m one without TV), but below are other links I’ve seen so far. I’m sure all the lame stream has it online as well, but I can’t bear the commentary by the idiots who masquerade as journalists.

I don’t watch Obama give speeches or press conferences. My blood just boils. I watch the SOTU addresses cause that is a constituional thing, even though he has managed to make it political.

I have a pretty good feeling that Gov. Romney will be more than up to the task tonight!

OH BTW, First Lady Worf was at the University of Reno today. My husband, who is a student (so proud of him), said that during her speech there was no one but a small crowd of young students that had nothing better to do between class. A couple local news cameras were there, but no one else from the community. He said it was kinda sad.

Do NOT be surprised if Obama seems to do well – - Jim Lehrer is a Leftist and a phony “journalist”.

There is little doubt in my mind B.O. has been told the questions that will be asked, and has prepared accordingly.

Every aspect of this campaign has been a false set-up manipulated by the soviet media.

When B.O. sounds much smoother and intelligent than he actually is, when he gives the performance of a life-time, keep in mind he has been told what to expect.

Why are people so intimidated by Obama? Seriously. Don’t be surprised if he does well..are you kidding? What are they going to ask him? What his favorite color is? People will see that and think he really has no leg to stand on. If Romney answers questions succinctly and honestly it will be a win period for Mitt. It doesn’t matter how hard they are either. Are there any? He has answers for everything. Logical rational answers. Let Not Your Hearts Be Troubled.

    http://www.bostonherald.com/news/columnists/view/20221003its_lights_camera__and_drool_all_over_obama/srvc=home&position=0

Here’s another example of fake news. On Jan. 10, 2010, the Sunday Globe ran a front-page story about Marsha Coakley’s commanding lead in the Senate race with nine days to go.

“Democrat Martha Coakley … enjoys a solid, 15-percentage-point lead over Republican rival Scott Brown as the race for U.S. Senate enters the homestretch, according to a new Boston Globe poll of likely voters. … Coakley’s lead grows to 17 points — 53 to 36 — when undecideds leaning toward a candidate are included in the tally.”

Nine days later, Scott Brown won, 53-47.

It’s a little box you hook up to the TV. It basically streams from the Internet directly into your television. We got ours about a year ago. Ours was around $100. Prices for the device start at about $50 — one time charge and then you own it. Then you add channels at your discretion. Some channels are free and some have subscription rates. We mostly watch GBTV, Hulu Plus and Netflix with ours, but have lots of other channels that we access.

It looks like right now the guys are like 25-40 or so. Those are the “golfing buddies”.

Back when he used to cruise Man’s Country he’d have older white guys (like 60s and 70s) giving him fellatio but he would not reciprocate. I know some gay black guys who have said since 2008 that Obama would only let black guys penetrate him, where Obama would be the bottom. Looks like he wants black guys for that but he wants the white guys for oral sex. I have no idea what the younger white guys in the golf groups are doing to/for him. It seemed like it was a fetish to have old white guys who looked like his grandfather give him oral…but young black guys to bareback as tops with him in the Bathhouse.

In fact, he’s interrupted him NON STOP the entire debate. He NEVER interrupts Obama. LISTEN to it. It’s so obvious, it’s embarrassing. Obama is allowed to take his time, go over time, do what he wants. Romney has to struggle to get in a word edgewise.
    And is constantly interrupted.

Watched entire debate and then read Mr. DuJan’s transcript. Giggled and giggled out loud all the way through the transcript.
      For example –
      President Obama:
“I have a $4 trillion reduction plan on some website. Go look at it.”

“I call it the Bart Simpson Commission or something.”

“I met a teacher at the slots in Las Vegas and she has 42 kids in the class and she makes them sit on the floor and read textbooks that are ten years old. Budgets reflect choices. If we have no revenue then we need to make more people sit on the floor. We have severe hardships for people. If you shift Medicaid to states, then it is like a cut in that over time or something. That might be a deal and a sheet of paper and (mumbles), it is a big problem and you need to be creative and some people don’t get help.”

“My grandmother was a white woman and she’s dead now.”

      “Let’s start the intercontinental railroad.”

“There are like 56 states around the country where good things are happening”

“ There are layoffs of teachers and Romney says we don’t need no teachers but me do! “

Thank you, thank you, Mr. DuJan. Your transcript certainly enhanced the actual debate. If you are able, please do this again for the debates that are to follow.

Before the end of the first segment I told her just write under Romney “my mom is cheering” and under Obama “my mom is ripping her hair out”. I ended up having to mute Obama by the end of the debate and only put the sound on for Mitt. It was like an earlier commenter said when Obama started speaking I started doing the Charlie Brown “adult voice” “Wah wah wah wah wah wah….” I did this in front of my daughter and it freaked her out a bit-lol.

But if I am mad enough, Justin says I look like I’m about to shoot lightning from my fingers and I can curse up a storm. But it really takes a lot to get me going.

I think what you see as being a prude is just be being able to anticipate anything my cyberstalkers try to do to attack me and I just deprive them of that.

I have started to use Chrome (you can download it in the app store-free). Since then, no problems streaming. I would venture to say that any other browser would help.

I couldn’t watch after the first 1/2 hour, but I checked on Facebook this morning where several of my “friends” were posting during the debate. I laughed out loud when I saw that a few – who up to this point have been die-hard lefties – said Romney made good points, and that Romney won! Woo Hoo! May after a couple more debates they’ll actually see the light and vote for Romney!

Tonight must have come as a real shock to President Obama’s system. After four years of not having to take any face to face criticism the scene must have been very uncomfortable. Obama is used to calling every shot and tonight he had a man that actually called him out on several of his mistakes. Tonight he was not sitting on a couch as “Eye Candy” for the magpies of the View. Tonight he was not President Kardashian hanging out with the Hollywood elite.
Tonight he was having for the first time in four years to tell America what has happened as Mitt Romney helped point out all the flaws. Tonight we saw the result of a narcissistic man who is not used to having to account to anyone. Whether this country comes to its senses or not tonight I was extremely proud to be an American, a Republican and a GAY CONSERVATIVE FOR MITT ROMNEY

Romney needs to expose the fact that AARP is a major cronie capitolism beneficiary of Obama Care. They will make tones of money on selling newer more expensive Health Care insurance and supplimentary insurance to Medicare which will be defunded to the tune of 780 billion dollars.

Didn’t they tell us last week not to expect much? Somethings going on with Obama. I am not a conspiracy theorist but if you ever read any books about FDR his doctors went out of their way to protect the President when they knew he was dying of a brain tumor caused by a melanoma skin cancer. I watched the debate again after reading most of your review. I somewhat disagree that O wasn’t on something. After having worked in a private hospital where parents send their kids to “come down” off drugs, it seems to me that he was coming off a downer of some sort. Watch him towards the end of the debate. He seems to almost unable to stand up and he had difficulty composing his thoughts. His eyes were almost drooping and he seemed ready to fall asleep standing up. His “fight” was gone and he seemed to be unable to wait for the debacle to end so that is why he could only repeat his constant talking points during the end that had nothing to do with actually answering the question. Could it be because he couldn’t wait for his next “hit”.

For people complaining that they want more “specifics” from Romney: the specifics will be decided in negotiations with Congress. Any “specifics” that Romney would mention at this point would be only a starting point in negotiation with Congress and half of them would likely go out the window in the first day. What is more important is the general overall approach. We can work out the various specifics as negotiations proceed but it is the overall philosophy that is most important at this point. We need to take a more abstract view of this.

We are voting on a choice of two different philosophies in approaching the problems we face. Right now, I am aligned with Mitt Romney’s approach.

Now, concerning Obama’s whining about the math not adding up. Obama is only taking into account expenditures and revenues with the current level of employment. What Obama does not take into account is the impact of economic growth. If Romney’s reduction of the base rates results in more people being employed, right away we see more income tax revenue, more medicare and social security payroll tax revenue. We see fewer people on food stamps, fewer people on unemployment. So by increasing employment we see an increase in revenue and a decrease in expenses without an increase in taxes. Now the problem is that the exact amount of increase in employment and exactly how much those jobs would pay can not be pinpointed with accuracy, but it is going in the right direction.

The moment more people are working, the scope of every other problem is reduced. Fewer homeless, fewer in poverty, fewer on foodstamps, more with health insurance.

Obama is operating with “zero sum” math where he just looks at the tax rate cut without taking into account any increase in revenue from more people being put back to work.

Also when I posted that my leftie friends were having a fit they jumped all over me that they were not! Lol. If they’re that sensitive it’s a sign of lost confidence. Even the media admits Romney won.

The blowout was just that bad. Awesome. :D

Obama’s opening comment “twenty years ago I became the luckiest man on earth when Michelle married me”

Genius. Oh, how they laughed in Boystown…

Here in the UK, the BBC, firmly in the tank for anything leftist, saying “the US media are saying Romney won”.

I must say that I have been an ABO supporter mostly.
However, NOW I have moved in the Romney support category.
There are probably many, conservatives in particular, who feel
like I do after watching this debate.

Romney obviously has done his homework and has a grasp of
what is needed to straighten this mess out.

I must also say that I will trust the man to do what he says he
is going to do. I am very encouraged.

The best line has been completely missed by everyone but me.

When Romney said “I have five boys, I am used hearing people say things that aren’t true and hoping if they say it enough someone will believe them.”

Mitt Romney called Obama an immature child to his face and Obama did nothing about it

Kevin, thanks for the live stream – made me giggle!
Mind – I read this well after the event, due to time difference. And I did watch the whole lot before I posted because I’d rather get my own impression than let the MSM do it for me.

I loved this quip from your introduction: “Apparently, they’re going to shoot Obama up with a bunch of Beta-blockers or amphetamines for the debate tonight just so he can make it through an hour and a half with no TelePrompTers.” – I think they didn’t get the balance right, teeheehee!

What you said about the love between Mitt and Ann was fully in evidence after the debate – and the love he has for his children and grandchildren. That was so beautiful.
Obama and Moochelle – well, she and Madame Jarrett may well have given him a spanking as I write! His performance was abysmal. He looked like an unprepared schoolboy, dejected, clueless, and as if he didn’t want to be there.
Frankly, I think it’s over for him, and he knows it. he and his campaign are going through the motions, it’s only his MiniTru supporters who are giving a d*mn right now, while in a state of shock verging on melt-down. This is not going to end well for them, come 11/7!

The best Romney salvo for me was the rebuttal of Obama’s 2 million teachers pipe dream.

“You put $90 billion into green energy, I’m all for green energy but you could have hired two million teachers with that money.”

Cut both ways, reminded everyone of the green energy waste and put the loss in terms that even a union thug could understand.

    CLEANED. HIS. CLOCK.

I knew Romney would do well but he did even better than I expected! It’s going to be the same thing all over again next Thursday night.

Visualize this – President and Mrs. Romney – strolling down Pennsylvania Avenue on a chilly January afternoon, with their five
handsome sons (and beautiful wives) and their fabulous eighteen
    grandchildren.

Message to World – WE ARE BACK!!

    Kevin:
Late to the party but want to add my two cents. First of all I love your indomitable spirit. Second, I love the way you express yourself. I too can say Romney is growing on me. The minute he won the nomination I was for him, but he won me over more slowly. I am Southern Baptist not Mormon but appreciate his faith. When I read the he gave away most or all of the money he inherited, that astonished me. The next part that impressed me was reading how as a very young man he took charge of his mission group in France when their leader died. Wow. What an early indicator of the man he would become. And, of course I love Ann Romney. Was so proud of her when she told the Crystols and the Noonans and all the other eyores to : Stop it.
Just like the Mom she is. No bad words, no wasted breath. Just: Stop it. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaa. What a team they will be in restoring dignity to the White House.
One last thing: I too will begin reeducating myself to say Leftist rather than Liberal.
    Thank you Kevin.

So I’m watching certain programs this morning to gauge reaction. Just saw Kelly Rippa and Michael Strahan discuss the debate. It was funny as they are funny. Michael Strahan was very funny pretending to be Michelle Obama and asking “you had to do the debate tonight, you couldn’t put it off” saying there are more important things like “our love”. I’m thinking Kelly is a hillbuzzer as she said to him “do you realize you just looked into the camera and told barack “our love”. Michael Strahan was very honest, he said that Barack at times seemed a little out of it but he used another word seeing mitt romney and saying “who is this guy, where did this guy come from”. They initially commented that the debate was civilized and we all benefit from that and the audience applauded.

Also, the blaze has an article as apparently people on twitter last night were asking why Romney had a black dot on his flag lapel pin. It turns out that the Secret Service gifted the pins to both of them. Some on the blaze noted that he used to wear one with an elephant on it and some didn’t like anything on the flag at all.

I’m wondering if the navy seals have a special lapel pin. It would be cool to see Romney and Ryan wearing lapel pin from other agencies. Who knew they had these, it’s very cool.

I watched with a group of guys. So they watch it like it’s a sports event to make it interesting. So at least six times while Barack was saying something they are like “here it comes, here it comes” ok now romney’s got a slam dunk go for it” It was a lot of fun and they were right every time they realized that Barack left himself wide open, Romney stepped in with something devastating.

Loving the left’s spin this morning that “Well, he’s got a country to run…and Syria and Turkey…and-and…Romney’s a doody-head.”

FACT: If your policies are sound and you are secure in your ability to make them work, you should have no problem articulating them. If you’ve built your career on telling groups just what they want to hear despite how those things might conflict, you’re going to be screwed when all eyes are on you waiting to hear what you’ve promised.

Kevin, I’m doing my usual morning peeks. Over at Ace of Spades he has a picture of Michelle Obama up in a purple dress. I’ve never seen her so tailored and so low key. I mean the way Michelle dresses you would think that she’d be wearing that dress to a somber moment not to a debate where she assumes her husband is going to win???? What are you thinking and everyone else about that dress and the subtle message it is conveying?

As soon as Mitt Romney said he’d cut funding to PBS I watched the twitter verse explode with tweets about him taking away big bird. They grabbed that meme and wouldn’t let it go.

I was telling my friends, he has to get out there in front of this as everyone tweeting was in their 20′s. He has to explain that back in the date PBS was entirely funded by donations, they would have a telethon at least once a year to collect public donations and they would have corporate sponsors. They managed to survive and thrive. So don’t understand when they suddenly became a ward of the state.

One thing few people are talking about is Romney’s idea of attaching IDEA and Title 1 funds to each child. I LOVE this idea. I have a son with special needs. I would LOVE to be able to choose the best school for him. We live in an excellent school district – but I bet I wouldn’t need a lawyer to access services for him, if the school knew I could go anywhere I wanted.

Kevin, I think I will gleefully join you in the post electoral victory throat ripping of the “conservative” Eyores. They tend to be islamocoddling dhimmies as well and truly do have an epic beatdown due to them. They betray us all at every turn. And all the people who’ve said to ‘cool it with the infighting till after the election’ are going to witness a bloodbath in the Dextrosphere of epic proportions because there are a LOT of solid right wing bloggers who have been advised to STFU until after the election and they are gonna have a whole lot of pent up bile to set loose.
The list is of “conservatives” who undermine the right is long and will not be forgotten.
