It's happened: unflattering Michelle Antoinette costumes appearing in Chicago for Halloween
I didn’t get a shot of it, though I tried, but last night I saw two black women dressed up as Michelle Obama. The bar was just too dark for the picture to come out. I’m going to try again tonight, and keep watch during the Halloween Parade here in Boystown…to get a picture of them (as I assume they, or others, will wear those costumes again tonight).
The women had on Supremes-style wigs, like the fancier wigs that Michelle Antoinette wears for special occasions.
They each had on ugly floral print dresses with giant Klingon war belts.
They had all sorts of bling on and when they walked through the bar, they pushed and shoved people and told them to “Make way! Make way! First Ladies coming through!”.
It was wonderful.
They may very well have been black men in drag. Who still looked and behaved more lady-like than our actual First Spouse.
I told you before that one of the signs the Obamas would be in real trouble would be if either drag queens started doing Michelle Antoinette in their acts or if people felt comfortable enough to dress up as Michelle at Halloween and lampoon her behavior.
That Spain trip she took seems to be what did it.
Before that, none of the terrible things she said or did registered with the public at large, because people seemed afraid to be called RAAACISTS! for criticizing her. Meanwhile, all that false praise was lumped on the woman by the media, where she was put on a pedestal and called “the world’s greatest fashion icon”. That overboard, extreme, sycophancy does not sit well with people. It was only a matter of time before people started caricaturizing her and laughing at her bad behavior.
The spell is broken folks.
People are no longer afraid of criticizing the Obamas.
Michelle Antoinette, portrayed as an entitled, lavishly-spending, pushy and out of touch diva, is fair game it seems.
I’m sure the White House doesn’t realize it, but this is a major milestone in the Obama presidency. The First Spouse has behaved so badly, spent so much money, and repulsed so many people with her over the top antics that the media-enforced, white-guilt-based, embargo on ridiculing the Obamas has now been lifted.
It started with two black women (or possibly drag queens) in Boystown last night…but who knows where it will end.

Plenty of sausage mixed with leftovers – since we’ll be watching a lot of sausage being made in DC as the R’s and “leftover” d’s fight about repealing Health Care, defunding it, and working together to hobble a group that will be able to override Utopia’s vetos of everything the conservatives try to do. It won’t be pretty, but it will be constitutional as we are all called racists for supporting repealing Utopia’s “signature” legislative “triumphs”. GACKKKK.

KTVA Responds to Miller Campaign Allegation
A press release issued Saturday October 30, 2010, by the Joe Miller campaign claims that KTVA personnel, “openly discuss creating, if not fabricating, two stories about Republican nominee for U.S. Senate, Joe Miller.” KTVA General Manager Jerry Bever says, “It’s unfortunate that this recording has happened. It’s unfortunate because it does not accurately reflect the journalistic standards of our newsroom and the garbled context will no doubt leave more questions than answers. The Miller campaign’s analysis of the recording is incorrect in many material ways ranging from personnel involved in the conversation, the interpretation of conversation snippets and the reported transcript of the perceived garbled conversation.”
“While the recording is real, the allegations are untrue,” said Bever. “The recording was the result of a cell phone not being hung up after a call was placed to Randy DeSoto, Joe Miller campaign spokesperson, Thursday afternoon to discuss Joe Miller’s appearance on that evening’s newscast. That phone call was placed near the end of a coverage planning meeting in our newsroom regarding that evening’s Miller rally in downtown Anchorage. The group of KTVA news personnel was reviewing potential “what-if” scenarios, discussing the likelihood of events at the rally and how KTVA might logistically disseminate any breaking news.”
Bever continues, “The perception that this garbled, out of context recording may leave is unfortunate, but to allege that our staff was discussing or planning to create or fabricate stories regarding candidate Miller is absurd. The complete conversation was about what others might be able to do to cause disruption within the Miller campaign, not what KTVA could do.”
While Bever would not discuss any personnel issues linked with the recording, Bever says “Have we had internal discussions about the level of professionalism we need to bring to our conversations, internally and externally? Of course we have, this is a lesson to learn from.”

I am sharing this story, as I think it is reflective of the national mood.
K, here’s an anecdotal confirmation. This week I spoke to a liberal friend that is not too happy with this administration’s foreign policy. Her take is that O is getting bad advice from his wife. That was the first time I’ve heard that she was responsible for his unfavorable actions.
Actually, flutterby, that’s not as crazy as it might seem.
Some are saying that MO and Valerie are having a big influence on things these days, especially now that Rahm is out.
Both jumping in as good little enablers do.
Not to mention it was written that those two were responsible for getting rid of Rahm – feeling that all Utopia’s problems stem from listening to Rahm.
I’d be interested to know how other people reacted to these costumes. Did they laugh? Were some people offended?
I went to a party dressed as Michelle. You know your costume is a dud when you spend the whole night explaining who you are “supposed to be”… Last year my husband and I went as Hannah Giles and James O’Keefe, when they did their sting at ACORN. We spent that night explaining who we were. My husband’s words on the way home last year “We need to get more politically aware friends”
Sorry to say nothing has changed in the last year. These people don’t like the prez, but I am always amazed few know the issues. Most of our friends are way too busy working hard every day to keep their heads above water. A majority are contractors, and have seen their business dry up. True salt of the earth and would be there at a moment’s notice to help out if needed. I work from the road and have the luxury of listening to talk radio all day. One of our friends does the same and he is the most informed of our bunch. That tells you EVERYTHING!!!!

While it is good to know that the “spell is broken,” I feel no joy that America is represented by this woman who clearly does not love America and is selfish beyond belief.
I look forward to the day when President Palin leads our country and First Dude Todd stand by his woman and takes “Friends of Piper” around the South lawn on his snow machine (without a fee, of course).

I enjoy catching the prez in embarassing situations, but this one is something akin to seeing Russia from my house. We need to live above fray
