Ideas to Reagan-ize your SuperBowl party this year, in honor of President Ronald Reagan’s 100th birthday

Posted on January 28, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Conservativism, Hillbuzz, Political Figures - The Right, President Ronald Reagan

H/t Moonbattery for the photo

President Reagan would have been 100 years old on February 6th, SuperBowl Sunday.

Since many of you are having parties that day anyway, to watch the game, why not have a little Reagan Birthday Party too?

You could do something very simple, like get a cake that says Happy 100th President Reagan on it.

Have red, white, and blue Jelly Belly jellybeans scattered around the room in bowls (because they were his favorite, and a favorite gift to friends and supporters).

Decorate for the party with red, white, and blue balloons and streamers.

Or, if you aren’t a football fan, counterprogram the game with some of President Reagan’s old movies, like Dark Victory (bonus since it stars Bette Davis).

What other ideas do you have to share a Superbowl Party with a celebration of Reagan’s 100th…and anything interesting Governor Palin has to say that day, should she feel like saying anything.

What think you?

This photo is so well done – it took my breath away. The jelly beans idea is great. They even look like little footballs. And you can’t forget about winning one for the Gipper. That was a football game, right?

I was listening to some old Dick Morris on a talk show.

He said Condi Rice would be a great Presidential candidate. She is a great States woman and someone who has done so much before getting into any political office and did a great job as secretary of State.

If you look at the mess that is about to come from Iran, Egypt, North Korea and Sudan. Rice and Bush had that under control. Clinton and Obama are not able to deal with it, because the world thinks Obama is weak and or a joke.

What does everyone think of Rice running for President or VP in the next few cycles.

Condi Rice has a problem: she is not a conservative. Condi Rice has ZERO chances to get the Republican base support either for president or VP.

Other thing is she is a rumoured Lesbian, a pro abortion. That disqualifies her to be the standard bearer of the GOP.

I was a fan of Condi untill she came out as pro abortion and saying good things of Obama. The woman is toast!

        True.
        Condi voted for Hopey..

        So did the McCain family.

I thin that the Bush Rice ideo of a democratic Islamic world is naive and dangerous. Although I agree that Sadam had to go, offering Iraq free and open elections led to an Islamic shari-ah judiciary and a counrty that is no longer safe for Christians and women. The only way to have any thing that resembles peace in the Muslim countries is for US to support secular military dictorships like the ones that kept, Turkey, Eygpt, and once Iraq free from any politically powerful, Islamic brotherhood or Hamas. Unfortunately, young people in the academias throughout the Muslim world are indoctrinated with radical Islamic ideas mush like our youth are indoctrinated with Marxist, Alinsky doctrine. They are easy prey for the ISlamic Brotherhood which will trun the world into a dangerous place and necessitate another Crusade. The poverty of young people in Eygpt is caused by their own practises of polygamy and inbreeding which is part and parcle of ISlam.

Why not add the “next Reagan” and have clips from Sarah Palin’s speeches, too?

I was checking the C4P blog and those folks are just crazy saying Huckabee is not running and that a non show of Huckabee is the only way Sarah beats Romney in Michigan.

First, Huckabee has not made any indication that he is not running. The Left is desperatelly pushing him and placing him strong second in their polls(even in Michigan! LOL). For a southerner Rebel Flag lover to win Michigan is like Obama winning Texas. Just not going to happen!

Second, Sarah does not needs Huckabee out to beat Romney in Michigan, why? Simple math. Huckabee only had 139,000 votes in that state primary in 2008. McCain won 256,000 votes and Romney 320,000.

Sarah could EASILY double what McCain did. Sarah could EASILY bring 350,000 Michigan primary voters to her side in 2012, beating Romney by 2 points at least!

Michigan is a “home state” for Romney and he only took 36% of the vote there.Old and Boring McCain was close to him 6% behind. Do you guys imagine what a young, attractive, charismatic and NORTHERNER Sarah Palin could do to Romney there??

It would be candy for Sarah if Huckabee does not runs, but he is a spoiler and the darling of the media. He will run. But don’t worry, the guy can’t raise any money and with Sarah in the race he is not going to win anything in northern states! Plus the Murice Clemmons pardon will destroy him.
And get this folkzz: there are thousands of Republican cops in Michigan that vote in primaries. They and their families will not vote for Huckabee. GET IT!!
