Here is one All-American Hero. An extraordinary citizen making a difference.

Nikki Kahn/THE WASHINGTON POST – Ross Murty, a registered Republican, serves up supper in Davenport, Iowa, on Wednesday.
From the Washington Post: “Iowa deli co-owner caters for Obama visit, but his T-shirt tells another story”
What’s on your mind this Wednesday evening? What are people in your neck of the woods discussing? What are you working on to help restore honor and first principles to this fine nation?

And a Virginia baker told the Biden campaign to go elsewhere for their food:

Love it! I especially enjoyed one of the lines near the end of the article: “Here’s the back story, we’re told that shortly after Crumb and Get It told Biden’s advance people ‘no’ — the secret service walked in and told Chris McMurray ”Thanks for standing up and saying ‘no’ — then they bought a whole bunch of cookies and cupcakes.”
It takes each of us in our everyday lives to stand up for what’s right. Chris McMurray and Crumb and Get It, I salute you!
What’s really refreshing about both of these stories is that the people who were protesting were polite and decent about it – no taking dumps on police cars, no lice-infested campouts near the White House – just very quietly but pointedly dealing with what they consider to be the greatest threat to their lives and livelihoods – this administration. Hats off – we should emulate their examples.
