So, how many family members have you shared WeinerGate with today? My folks were visiting yesterday, and I asked, “So, what do you think about WeinerGate?” Neither had heard of it. But my mom immediately said, “I bet it’s about a Democrat.” Gotta love my mom.

Speaking about the meejah – please have a look at this:
http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/nilegardiner/10…
Nile Gardiner says in this blog that Obama's golf playing yesterday was not reported anywhere in the USA.
I think this needs a wider audience …!
golf why not
he made it to Joplin, Mo, only a week late after the event, read from the TOTUS twins in a church, after being caught on film chewing gum from the pew in this church – then returned to play golf?
typical week for Obama
Remember when Dubya was excoriated for not going to New Orleans?
Thank you for posting, contrast that with GWB riding with wounded troops http://www.foxnews.com/on-air/special-report/inde…
really great story of these heroes and nice to see our former President reaching out to them. How about a Hillbuzz pic side by side of Bush on his mountain bike with our troops and BHO on his bike.
Weinergate update. Yes, again:
http://gatewaypundit.rightnetwork.com/2011/05/gen…
In the Twitter heirarchy, a very famous Congressman following *one* pretty young college student could, theoretically, be a coincidence. "Oh, sometimes her tweets make me laugh and I want to suppport progressive journalists." (This, obviously, assumes that no one is sending pictures of tumescent manhoods.)
This many young, attractive(ish) women suggests a pattern, and remember that he was following a high school girl at one point. At least pick some men to balance things out.
Excellent video and prime example of just how biased our LSM is.
There is no american press, it is an Obama press, and a demonRat press.
I hadn't heard of weinergate until I looked online, and then it made sense, it was a democrat, so of course the press will lie for him, and I say that as a former democrat, until 2008.
until 2008, I trusted the media, now, I don't trust one freaking word they say, I don't believe them to be a fair dispenser of news, they are the american pravada. The internet thank God is the equalizer, they expose everything the Obot LSM hides and covers up.
Anti-Palin Propaganda Watch
A very liberal (somewhat famous) friend once chided Mrs Webworker, all you have to do to stay current is read the headlines! Let's see…
"Palin a no-show for fans wanting Gettysburg view" -Reuters
"Palin bus tour stops in Gettysburg" -WHTM (ABC)
"Palin's mysterious bus tour a no-show in Phila." -S Jersey Courier-Post
What's going on? Well, Sarah's family's tour itinerary is not fixed or public. No reason it should be. Meeja speculation gets people thinking she's heading somewhere, and then they report she's disappointing her fans. From the Courier-Post article, for example:
Need I parse the preposterous presumption in the above quotes? Just the last one: Palin is chided for not telling the park service that a private family wasn't coming by? Wow, she is mean!
And wasn't it cute how they got that critical Dem quote in there, appropo of nothing? (Take out "Palin" and see how it rings when you put in the duffer-in-chief — who of course is not a Muslim, a socialist, or gay — "not that there's anything wrong with" the last. h/t Seinfeld).
Reuters reported that "Several hundred people gathered at the Civil War site on a hot, sunny day for a glimpse…. Some of those assembled there were puzzled by goal of the tour, which seemed designed to attract public attention despite a lack of information…." The article quoted the confusion of "a baker who drove for three hours from Berwick, Pennsylvania, with two friends to see Palin." Why did folks think she would visit the battlefield? "A photo on her website late on Sunday showed the closing words of the Gettysburg Address delivered by President Abraham Lincoln after the 1863 battle. That was taken as a hint."
WHMT just reported straight-up that the family "made a pit-stop in the midstate Monday night… [and] spoke with supporters and signed autographs in Gettysburg…."
My favorite quote from that article: "Palin was asked if she plans to run for president in 2012. 'Oh, I don't know.'"
Heh heh heh.
Siiigh! Can’t predict when entities will post right or not, even if they show up right in the preview. Checking the raw HTML, I see that HB’s software is (sometimes) replacing the entities’ lead ampersands with the entity for the amperand itself, which defeats the intent. If that’s incomprehensible jargon, just pass it along to whomever is in charge of your tech. I’ll just quit using them here, though.
It’s not “our” software. It’s WordPress. Even our comments get mangled.
Palin bus tour is driving the LSM crazy. And Republican politicians are not too happy either. BTW Palin looks great in leather and on motorcycle.

It has been found that closing the tax breaks on retirement funds would not help close the deficit:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/st…
Sometimes I wonder why Americans save so little for retirement, and then I see the government sniffing around retirement funds. The insecurity alone would make saving unwise.
A friend told me in 2007 that I should sell my stocks, cash out any stock-related investments I had and take my money out of the bank and put it into my mattress. Never found out how he was so spot-on a year before the crashes. I now have my extra money NOT in the bank….
Kevin and creative folks here might be intersted in this prize being offered by powerline.
The countdown continues on the Power Line Prize: $100,000 to whoever comes up with the most effective, creative way to dramatize the significance of the federal debt crisis. The winning entry could be a video, a song, a poem, a painting, anything. It could focus on the debt crisis as a whole, or maybe a specific aspect of it, like the role played by unsustainable entitlements, or the massive waste represented by the "stimulus," or how young people's futures are being mortgaged. The deadline for submissions is July 15 go here for more info – http://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2011/05/029…
Iowahawk slams Weiner, as only Iowahawk can or would dare to:
http://iowahawk.typepad.com/iowahawk/2011/05/help…
"Since the incident, the famously modest Congressman Weiner had remained demure on how he single-handedly thwarted his anonymous attacker, and how the attacker managed to possibly steal his Blackberry camera phone. And, for whatever reason, has thusfar also chosen not to involve the law enforcement authorities.
"As much as I admire Congressman Weiner's Gandhi-like forgiving attitude toward his assailant – as well as his world class ninja programming skills – I'm afraid this incident doesn't just involve him.
"For, after all, what Internet user is safe when the person who hacked this unsuspecting Weiner remains at large? Okay, maybe not "large," but still, come on man. Who's to say this same criminal hasn't somehow hacked my last 5 federal income tax returns with fraudulent deductions for alcohol-related blogging expenses?"
Thanks for the link. Iowahawk does great parody. Alas… well, here's (slightly re-written) what I just commented at that site:
Without being a Facebook, Twitter, or y.frog user myself, but a long-time techie, I have to concur with a commenter on Iowahawk that some of the tech questions seem misunderstood and Weiner could be right. (I have not made an in-depth investigation of the details.)
There is no trick to "regaining" control of your accounts if the password was hacked but not changed, for example. Also, if like many idiots he uses the same password on various accounts, you only need find out one. If it's a low-power password, all the easier. And if you're using your cell to access those accounts, as the other commenter said, you might only have to hack that cell.
Not making a case for or against Weiner's being hacked or careless. While Occam's Razor may cut toward careless, it's not that fine a line toward hacked, either. Just depends on which way Weiner was stupid.
Meanwhile, back at the economy, endless wars, and undermining of Israel….
When know-nothing Obama ran in 2008, the left orgasmed all over itself, and swung a Nobel Peace Prize for him, just for running while black. Even today Obama is a hyped-up incompetent compared to Giuliani.
The SEIU has just pulled out their old Communist banners, and they are tearing off the mask. ACORN is back in business. George Soros is funding all the loudest leftist fronts. Marxists are suddenly sprouting all over the campuses, like an outbreak of ugly pimples. The left is out of the closet.
http://www.americanthinker.com/2011/05/will_obama…
Yes, ACORN never went bankrupt, they just went underground because the noose was tightening around their necks. They and the SEIU are one and the same.

When you are living in the Garden of Eden, the darlings of the liberals, life is peachy: good jobs, good wages, benefits, health care, pensions. But when the liberals decide to change you out for a newer model, then it's back to the real world, only now the unions are wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Democratic Party and the fraternal associations have withered away into irrelevance. But for the "pessimistic and alienated" in this fallen world, there is God and guns and Sarah Palin.
I shared the news of Weinergate with a family member who is a complete computer geek. (I come from one of those families where everyone is a nerd on *something*, be it computers, airplanes or, er, American politics.)
Curiously, what bothered him was not the picture itself ("Eh") or even who he sent it to ("What part of 'eh" don't you get?"). It was the excuses, lies and obfuscations that Weiner, his people and his enablers in the meeja were making in order to claim that he was set up by a hacker and/or Breitbart.
"Oh, that's (redacted)! No one could believe that! Anyone who knows the first thing about Twitter or hacking could believe that! If he was hacked, how could he figure it out in minutes, and regain access so quickly? Why hasn't Twitter shut down his account to investigate? Why did they pick such a quiet time to do it? And WHY HASN'T HE CALLED THE POLICE!?!"
You are correct to keep asking the salient questions on this, thank you.
Sadly, Mr. Ahlert isn't a presidential candidate. However, as current candidates aren't exactly brimming with great ideas of their own, it would make sense for at least one or two to study his column for sensible suggestions on how to get things under control in D.C.

Love this site, love Weinergate, and I had to post this somewhere…to the tune of "Oliver's Army" by Elvis Costello:
Don't start him Tweeting
He could sext all night
Said is was just a hacking
But we all know that isn't right
Sent a photo of his little man
To a pretty nubile college fan
Anthony's Weiner is here today
Anthony's Weiner is out to play
And I bet he'd rather be anyone else
Than him today!
Says his Twitter was violated
But the cops won't get a call
It won't be investigated
The 'evidence' is just too small!
Forgot to use the 'Private' option
Now his privates are what everyone's watchin'
Anthony's Weiner is here today
Anthony's Weiner is out to play
And it couldn't happen to a nicer guy
Than him today!
Rush again displays today why he has no equal. One by one, he plays all the LSM sound bites about the Palin bus tour and exposes there angst and anger with her for not playing "the game" they want her to play. Like high school kids who were not invited to the big party. Hilarious!
A great roundup of Weinergate. Yes, again.
http://pajamasmedia.com/instapundit/121614/
The curious thing is that, once Weiner showed weakness, there has been very little support outside the hard left and the meeja (but I repeat myself). It's best to be nice to most people whenever possible, because otherwise they will enjoy seeing you fall.
waiting to see more of this lol.
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/05/31/goldma…
I get the distinct, uneasy feeling there's MUCH MORE to this story. Speaking of the cost of media bias, how about the cost of media laziness? Why is this story not being fully investigated, not just by the media, but by Congress?! A terrorist leader such as K-Daffy doesn't just "give" several Billion Dollars to a U.S. company without being given or promised something very important in return, especially when the so-called "investment" returns nada.
I had the same reaction, the WSJ has more, thanks for posting http://blogs.wsj.com/deals/2011/05/31/meet-goldma… http://blogs.wsj.com/deals/2011/05/31/everything-…
Thanks for the WSJ article links, Indy. Very enlightening. Hope more will come out. Is it just me, or does it seem a bit too "coincidental" that Ben-Brahim (Goldman's "rock star" leading broker of Libya's U.S. "investments," whose wife happens to be from Iran) was miraculously made a Goldman Sachs partner in 2004, the same year that K-Daffy's Libyan Investment Authority (LIA) was launched? Also stunning to me was the information about the LIA's significant stake in various Italian entities, including an aerospace firm and professional soccer club. And, I'm sure that's just the tip of the iceberg of this terrorist nation's "investments" in other countries' businesses. If Libya actually "lost" most of its $3+ Billion Dollar investment in Goldman Sachs during the 2008 collapse, why would it turn down Goldman's ownership stake offer to make up for the loss? What else did Goldman offer, and did Libya take that offer? Also, in what other U.S. firms had Ben-Brahim brokered Libyan investments, and when the 2008 collapse occurred, did the collapse have anything to do, perhaps, with such major Libyan investments being suddenly pulled out of any of those U.S. firms? Somehow, this has brought up in my mind having read about Rev. Jeremiah Wright's early 1980s visit to K-Daffy and K-Daffy trying to set up his tents in D.C. and New Jersey, I believe back in 2008 or 09. How I wish true investigative journalism were still alive and kicking somewhere in America!
P.S. The fact that the "U.S. company" that negotiated with Libya/K-Daffy is Goldman Sachs makes this even scarier, IMO.
This. Is. Awesome:

Thanks for staying on top of Weinergate, Hillbuzzers. It's a dirty job.
Here's the text of the email we sent to Rush Limbaugh today:
Hi Rush et al,
Just wanted you to know that at Hillbuzz.org, we take Internet security very seriously. So when we heard that Democrat Representative Anthony Weiner's Twitter account had been hacked, we knew we had to thrust ourselves into the issue. We were bulging with ideas for helping create awareness of Twitter security. To encourage people to keep their Twitter password secure, we're erecting "National Tweet Your Weiner Day" on June 1, 2011 (http://hillbuzz.org/2011/05/31/national-tweet-your-weiner-day/).
To celebrate, you simply have to tweet your Weiner to all your followers. (Ideally, you'd follow in Rep. Weiner's footsteps and immediately delete the photo.)
Rush, we here at Buzzquarters can't wait to see the selection of Weiners that are sure to come across our screens during National Tweet Your Weiner Day.
We hope that as a result of National Tweet Your Weiner Day, fewer Democrats will be caught with their pants down.
Sincerely,
The Staff at Buzzquarters
P.S. We originally thought of celebrating National Tweet Your Weiner Day on June 21st–the longest day of the year–but we believe Internet security is so important that it just couldn't wait.
Hilarious!
OK, ROTFLM FAT A$$ off! Love, Love, Love you!

Yep, the BO WH's LSM propaganda goon squad is failing der leader (and falling all over themselves) as they try in vain to get the scoop on where Sarah's going next, what she's doing, what she's planning; and so they and their Anointed One are having an absolute shit fit! You can bet that BO, MO and Valerie Jarett are stomping holes in the WH flooring, pounding desks with their fists and screeching over their phones and in staffers'/journolisters' faces. So many BO WH, leftists and GOP establishment heads exploding all at once…indeed what a guilty sweet pleasure it is to behold. Oh, and the fact that they aren't being given any clue about why Sarah and The Donald (who, like Sarah, doesn't 'owe' the damn LSM a damn thing after the way they've maligned him) are meeting is making them all absolutely apoplectic. And, whose name is No. 1 in terms of public/media interest right now? Yep, none other than our Sarah. Roll, Sarah, roll!
WHAT?!?!? I have not heard that our Sarah is meeting with Trump. I'll bet the lefties are melting down. There isn't enough Duct tape in the world………… More info, please.
Geesh, I love that woman.
Edit: I found the story about Palin and Trump meeting up. ROFLMAO!!! She is simply brilliant
Dear President Obama:
I am writing today with a somewhat unusual request. First and foremost, I am asking that you return America to its August 20th, 1959 borders, so that Hawaii is no longer a state and you are no longer a citizen.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
Sarah takes NYC and Trump by storm!

Sexist, elitist, NeoCOMS Krauthammer, Britt Hume (both former Jimmy Carter WH members) and Bill OReilly (Obama Harvard alum) continue their fight to lead the naysayers and concern trolls tonight on Fox – no link required!
Agree. BOR is a closet BO "tingle leg." Krauthammer and Hume are simply irrelevant.
Hey all, just wanted to give you the heads up that David Mamet, yes that David Mamet's book is out. Just read a few chapters, wow, simply great book. There is nothing like a converted liberal who becomes a conservative. The man has always been brilliant and the book is not to be missed. the book – The Secret Knowledge- On the Dismantling of American Culture. glad he is on our side.
