Heaven help the fools who legislate our rights away…

Posted on March 31, 2009 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

The Tea Party spirit continues to spread — and now, to people who can sing.

The video above is marvelous (h/t MichelleMalkin).

Our favorite part is when it calls Chris Dodd out for helping to rip up the Constitution every afternoon.

Just watching this, it further reminds us, especially at the end, how much Democrats continue to set the stage for a patriotic conservative from somewhere out west to roar onto the national stage in 2012 to answer Obama/Carter with a new Reagan.

A Reagan who could very well look like this:

Sarah Palin to the rescue

Love that pic of the Governor and I miss Ronnie so very, very badly. I only wish I hadn’t come to appreciate him until so late in his 2nd term. I was a koolade drinking Democrat back then. I was also young and politically stupid, and I was wrong about him.

No one, absolutely no one, has reminded me of Reagan till Sarah came along. Her very first speech in Dayton, when she accepted the Veep slot on the ticket, we were all yelling “OMG she’s Ronald Reagan! We’ve waited SO long!”

made a good point, Reagan was so good, if Reagan were here, he would sort the Congress out. and veto bills,

Obama will not sort Congress out as he is worse than all of the members.

I couldn’t agree more! Reagan’s policies left us living on welfare (I actually like govt cheese) and destroyed my husband’s neighborhood which was comprised heavily of union factory workers.

      Clever vid and song though.

& I love Sarah Palin esp. compared to line up their pockets Obama

It was Reagan’s policies alone that made it possible for my father to retire when his legs gave out. Many teachers(union members) I know were also able to retire because their investments stopped losing money.

One of our most prosperous times was under the Reagan administration. We were free and inspired to better ourselves. The sky was the limit. All you had to do was go for it. And I wasn’t even a Reagan supporter until after he left office. I was a fool.

This is really is frightening, and we don’t seem to be able to stop it. It’s like standing in front of a runaway train. In a few short months, our entire way of life has been short circuited. In reading that GM was told it had 30 days to negotiate a pact with Fiat….Fiat mind you, didn’t anyone realize that Fiat would know that…how can you negotiate a deal when the other person knows you have no options, no hand to play. Where do these brain trusts who came up with the ultimatum, come from? We are truly in trouble. My thinking is that the next things they try to foul up will be our food supply, or maybe our water. Good thing I have a well.

“It’s Bush’s fault!!” And shall be until the year 4000, if the Dems have anything to say about it. And that tired line is always the only bullet in their arsenal. Well! Take a look at the link below:

This video shows that George Bush tried to warn Congress in 2002 that this economic crisis was coming, if something was not done. But congress refused to listen, along with Barney Frank. This video says it all.

Also that the liberal AMERICAN media did not want this video on You Tube, so they had Time Warner threaten a lawsuit (“proprietary rights”) if it was not taken off. This link is the same video but is routed through Canada. Everyone in America needs to see this!

Anyone hear about this bill in congress to stop backyard gardening?
Today I write you in concern regarding bill H.R. 875. This bill is currently sitting in committee and do not know when it will be hitting the floor. I do understand that very few Representatives have even looked at this bill, which deeply concerns me. Please urge your fellow members to read the legislation and ask for opposition to this distressing legislation.

I have little doubt that lobbyist from huge food producers like Monsanto and Tyson have heavily influenced this piece of legislation. It is not that the legislation defines backyard gardens or Organic farming in its verbiage it is its broad definition that concerns me. This will affect everyone who produces food regardless if they’re selling it or just picking it for themselves. H.R. 875 will kill our local Saturday/Farmers markets, which has become a staple.

    Section 3:
    Definition of bill
    Section 103
*Legally binds state agriculture depts. To enforce federal guidelines taking away the states power to do anything other than police our neighbors.
*Criminalizes organic farming (because you have to use CHEMICALS?)
*Affects anyone growing food even if they are not selling it just consuming.
*Affects anyone producing meat of any kind including wild game.
    Section 206:
Defines what will be considered a food production facility and what will be enforced on all food production facilities. (Even the backyard gardener)
    Section 207:
Requires the states agriculture dept to enforce these federal requirements
This takes away the states power and is in direct violation of the 10th amendment.

This puts a question in my mind didn’t Stalin nationalize farming methods that enabled his administration to gain control over the food supply? Didn’t Stalin use the food to control people?
I grow a garden every year and I’ll be damned if I stop because the Obama cronies say so.

Section 3 (14) explicitly declares “any farm” (no matter what the size) to be a “FOOD PRODUCTION FACILITY”.

Gardens are not explicitly exempted here, nor are they explicitly included.

Given the pr*cks writing and passing laws these days, I’ll err on the side of pessimism and presume that gardens would fall under the purview of this heinous nonsense.

I’m wondering what this legislation is going to do to the quality of produce and meat at Whole Foods. Also what it means for farmer’s markets.

Hope all the stoopit hopey changey obots enjoy eating Big Ag products.

SOG. Thanks. What I am also worried about is genetically engineered foods. The gov is all for it. Some indigenous species, corn for example, will never reproduce again when exposed to nearby genetically engineered corn. There is a fear among scientists of losing our “natural” foods. When will people learn to stop screwing around with what is good and stable?

Oh and genetically engineered or ‘genetically modified’ (I used to work for USDA) as it’s known in government, is a term for crops sprayed with round-up…or also called round-up ready. The reason they use it on corn is to keep the weeds downs of course, but there is severe run-off into the rivers and growers can see deformity of frogs in their nearby lakes and streams. Corn as you well know is in everything. So we are esentially eating Round-up weed killer. They make it sound like it’s altered in a lab but it’s just altered from powerful weed killer that is strong enough to eventually kill a small pet or give it mouth cancer from walking on it then washing up with their paws…

I loved the video. I am just sorry I didn’t like Ronnie until he left office.

It was really close to being great, except for the Reagan informercial at the end. I would have sent it around to everyone on my email list, if it had honestly blamed 90% of the current politicians BOTH DEM and REP for the problems we see today. I am a PUMA and am outraged by the DNC, but the RNC sucks as well. There are not enough leaders on either side. The Reagan stuff and the failure to blame Republicans for part of the problem made this a RNC hit piece and nothing more.

I’m over at HotAir arguing with all of the people who are slamming Sarah Palin again.

They just can’t leave her alone.

Allahpundit is on my last nerve. That’s the bloody web page I first learned about Governor Palin over a year ago. She was good to go back then, what gives with him? Anyway, the GOP set her up, and Allah and his minions fell for it. Party hack SUCKERS.
      Check out the C4P article:http://www.conservatives4palin.com/2009/03/palin-will-not-be-headlining-gop.html

Sarah will veto all bad bills, even if it is her party. A regular person like us… yep, that’s what we need.

    Dear HillBuzz,

I hope you check my April 1 post today and find it particularly cheering, even if it IS wishful thinking.

John Conyers is trying to investigate ACORN and progressive SCUM like Jerold Nadler is attempting to stop the investigation. We have to contact Conyer`s and tell him to proceed.

If you go to Anita Moncrief`s web site she explains how ACORN is like the mafia. They are funded by Soros and his predatory lending pals the Sandlers and counseled by scumbag Podesta. ACORN is a pox on the middle class in America. They have strong armed banks (Bank of America and Citicorp) to give them hush money millions each year. She says that newspapers bury stories and the long arm of the SEIU union also secures their survival.

    http://anitamoncrief.blogspot.com

Read the whole thing. It`s revolting how the NY Times buried the story about 0bama`s corrupt ties to ACORN before the election.

America needs to get rid of ACORN now. If ACORN is in charge of the consensus America is doomed.
