Have You Ever Seen Changeling? It’s actually worth your valuable time (and really inspirational too).
The movie Changeling is not the 70s horror flick with George C. Scott and the ghost boy in the wheelchair (that would be The Changeling…and it scared the bejeebus out of me as a little kid…because apparently the addition of an extra three letters equals pure terror).
In 2008, Angelina Jolie starred in Changeling and I purposefully avoided seeing it in theaters because I’ve long believed Angelina Jolie is a cuckoo-bird. She wore a vial of her brother’s blood around her neck for a while, apparently dated him around the time she won her Oscar, and then stole Brad Pitt from Rachel from Friends. Being gay, I’ve never understood her sex appeal…but instead thought she was trash for participating in adultery. While I typically enjoy movies set in the 1920s and am fascinated by stories based on real-events, I just couldn’t get beyond my dislike for the actress to see this movie when it was new…and in years since I honestly never encountered it on DVD or on Netflix or even thought of it again.
But, while I was sick this last month I watched a lot of movies on Amazon Instant Video and somehow accidentally ordered Changeling when I probably wanted The Changeling…and so felt obliged to let the movie play, regardless of Angelin’a presence.
I’m truly glad that I did because not only was Angelina very good in the role (and gorgeous, too, incidentally…looking spot-on perfect as a woman in the 1920s without a vial of her brother’s blood in sight) but the story itself introduced me to two new American heroes in the form of Christine Collins and the Reverend Gustav Briegleb.
Collins (portrayed by Jolie in the film) was a mother whose young son went missing around 1927 in Los Angeles while she was away at work. The Los Angeles Police Department was the most corrupt in the world at the time and decided it wanted some good publicity…so they shipped in a runaway boy they found in Illinois and tried to pass him off as Collins’ son Walter. When Collins insisted that this stranger was not her son, the police ultimately decided to lock her up in a mental ward to shut her up so they wouldn’t have any more bad press over the fiasco. It’s so sad to admit it, but this is the sort of thing I can honestly see happening here in Chicago with Rahm Emanuel as Mayor and Democrats running the Justice Department nationwide.
Briegleb was a man with a radio show at the time who realized what happened to Collins and vowed to broadcast every day on the subject until everyone in listening range was riled up against the police for their abuse of power. He did just that…and ultimately forced Collins’ release. Watching the movie, he seemed to be the Andrew Breitbart of his day…which made me doubly sad because neither he nor Andrew are around anymore.
After Briegleb rescued her, Collins went after the police, sued the primary guy responsible for what happened to her, and kept suing him again and again through the years trying to force him to pay her the judgement she was awarded (which would have been about $400,000 adjusted for inflation). Someone with this sort of tenacity is amazing here in 2013…let alone in 1927 in Los Angeles…when no doubt most of her peers were terrified of being killed by those crooked cops in a “traffic accident” or “robbery” or something.
The movie could have been a gruesome, scary, serial killer story…but instead it was a very inspirational tale of a woman who just would not be broken and one who never gave up on finding her son. Christine Collins was absolutely amazing. I really hope that if I ever had a kid I’d fight for him or her as much as Collins waged all-out-war for hers.
I enjoyed the movie so much that I spent a few days researching what happened to everyone after the story told in the film ended. True to form, Christine Collins spent the rest of her life looking for her son. She lived until 1964 and apparently had to use aliases and change her name here and there because people affiliated with the crooked cops kept bothering her…even decades later. But, still she kept up her battle against the bad guys. And she never gave up hope that her son was still out there somewhere. Gustav Briegleb kept calling out the crooked police until the day that he died…and together with Collins he so embarrassed the City of Los Angeles that new laws had to be passed to prevent the police from ever again having the ability to just throw someone in a mental ward when they wanted to silence the person.
2013 is really starting out to be a bleak year and though the Ministry of Truth that is our national media won’t admit the obvious, we really are in an economic Depression. Things will get much, much worse in the days ahead as all of the many taxes prescribed by Obamacare drive companies out of business or force massive layoffs. Simultaneously, never in our lifetimes have we had so many people in government who believe they can do whatever they want to people and that they are answerable to no one. It all feels very reminiscent to Los Angeles in the late-1920s when Collins and Breigleb fought back.
I think a lot of you out there are going to be fighting back in your own ways in the years ahead. I hope you never go through anything like what happened to Collins…but in whatever challenges you do face I do hope you never give up, never surrender, and that you always speak truth to power. People today are scared of our government and the power it wields…and some are even afraid of being “disappeared” somewhere because they oppose what the Left is doing to the country (and what it will do in the next four years).
What I liked most about the movie Changeling is that it illustrates there is indeed an alternative to being too afraid to take on the “big guys” or the all-powerful government. I’m sure Collins was scared…and Angelina depicted her as being unsure what to do at times…but she would not let those monsters break her.
And in the end it was actually she who embarrassed and broke them.
What a great movie this ended up being…so good that I ended up doing something I almost never do and I bought the DVD so that I can watch it again one day when Justin’s home too.
It really is worth your valuable time the next night you want to put something on your video screen.

Dear Kevin, so glad you are back, and very sorry you were ill. I always worry when you don’t post.
Given your review, I’ll get the movie and watch it – even though I have a hard and fast rule that any celebrity who has said something evil about conservatives, or obviously supports the D’s, is not getting a cent from me. And I wish more people would do the same – many of these overpaid folks might have to face reality. These coming months, I’m afraid, will be a test for those of us who are paying attention, and I too worry about people disappearing.
My best wishes to you.
Since the election, whenever I talk to anyone about things that are happening I hear a lot of “you can’t fight city hall.” Collins is an an example of someone who did, and it’s good to be reminded.
On the other hand, can you imagine how many people ended up committed and silenced forever? I CAN see it happening in Chicago today, and unfortunately, anywhere else.
NDAA is going to make it easy now for people to disappear into the system and never come out.
I am so glad to have you back blogging, Kevin. I had just about given up on finding a new post, but I had a special feeling today when I clicked on your site, and there it was!!
Welcome back. I have missed you. BTW, here is my review of The Changeling. My website features “Movie Reviews for Film-Loving Foodies” and has a recipe to go with each film. The “Hearty Bean Soup” recipe for this film is from the Depression Era. It is high in nutrition and low in cost, something we will all need in this era of Taxomania.

I look forward to reading your site again. Happy New Year, Kevin.
Kathy
Yay!! yay yay yay! So glad you’re back, Kevin. Hope you’re feeling better and Happy New Year!
I have a grudging admiration for Angelina Jolie and I’ve been wanting to see this movie. I didn’t know what the real story was about.
Great review, Kevin. I’ve heard of Changeling, but never watched it (kinda feel the same way about Angelina as you do.) You’ve got me intrigued. So happy to see a post from you today. Hope you are well!
Okay – I thought the blood was Billy Bob’s – her husband’s at the time.
Correct….It was Billy Bob Thornton’s blood. He was her husband at the time – not her brother….And he wore Angelina’s blood around His neck the same time that she wore his…..Strange.
So glad to see you back and writing for us, Kevin. I hate you are in pain but am praying for your quick healing.
As her contemporary, you probably judged Jolie more harshly than I. Compared to the Obamabots, jumping on camera before they know what they’re talking about; I rather admire her efforts. At the top of my Hollywood shit list is Tom Hanks: he and four of his friends contributed to Al Franken’s campaign. He still won illegally and made ObamaCare easier to pass. Even more obnoxious, but seemingly with the IQ of an oak stump (so less responsible,) is Sean Penn, who apparently was raised like Obama, Geitner, Ayers, Alexrod, Jarrett etc. Apparently, kids tend to admire their leftists parents. Hope that tide will change soon.
I never go to a movie theater anymore. I saw The Changling as soon as it came out on DVD, just as every movie worth watching, and five times as many not worth watching. I guess I got the same perspective out of the movie, but would take it more seriously now. I grew up in Chicago and Cook County, and then spent over 25 adult years near LA. Having had conservative parents, I was very familar with the excesses of the Daley Machine. Having had a conservative husband with the Justice Dept in Washington, Chicago, and LA, I was aware of the cronyism; but never felt the corruption (other than one California judge) that has opened my eyes these past five years. Thanks, Kevin, for all you do! Feel better soon.
Thanks for the movie recommendation, Kevin! I have put it on my Netflix list.
BTW, it was a vial of Billie Bob Thornton’s blood, not her brother’s. Unless Billie Bob is her brother? Of course, w/Jolie, about anything is possible.
Again, welcome back.
Have never seen the movie..now I will..what bravery…just an fyi.Angelina wore Billy Bob Thornton’s blood in a vial.. he did the same with hers..they were married..she did do a pretty creepy thing one time at the Oscar’s by kissing her brother on the red carpet..full on smash mouth..
I’m very glad you’re back. I was worried. With your review and Clint Eastwood as director, I am intrigued.
I have been boycotting Hollywood since 2008, not only because they pray to Obama but because they wll sell out to anyone who has the enormous amount of money needed to finance their idiotic films.
Matt Damon ( Dubai’s little bitch) has made an anti-American natural gas industry film. The film is finance by Dubai a major oil producer who I am sure Damon would love to see inslave Americans. I appreciate the recommendation as I have all but given up on trying to find anything worth watching as far as movies. I suffered through Meryle Streep’s Hope Rising, a vertual geriatric soft porn flick, only because my teeen age neices where assigned the task of distracting me for a couple hours while my family prepared a surprice party for my birthday. It was my very liberal mothe’rs idea that they take me to see Hope Rising and I agreed only because I thought if Meryl Streep was in it it could not be all bad. Boy was I wrong! My neices were mortified as they were forsed to watch a “sex therapist” convince a married woman to engage in demeaning and misogynic sex acts to reinvigerate her sex life with her uninterested and quite preverted husband. We were all so very uncomfrtable and I asked my youngest neice if she wanted to leave. She replied no of course because she had to keep me in the theater while the party was being set up. The whole day is scared by the memorie of my neices innocense being fractured my Hollywood trash culture. I was so embarassed for Meryl Streep. She certainly didn’t need to do this movie, but she is a liberal so I guess ultimately it was the money that mattered.
Mimi, my wife and I (now two old people) also saw Hope Springs; and although we were a bit uncomfortable with the premise and theme, we thought the acting brilliant by those two old pros, Meryl and Tommy Lee. This may sound odd, but I think it better that it not be seen by those under the age of 20 or older than 50. Indeed, those within that three decade period of life, on seeing it, would likely shrug and ask of us oldsters, “so what’s the problem?”.
Dear Kevin: I’m glad you are feeling better… there is a vicious flu/bronchitis going around. I was worried when you didn’t post for weeks! I also want to say that I really like you – in as much as one can “like” someone they have never met. There is something very sincere and transparent about you which is truly a lovely quality. I wish you and your partner all the best in the New Year…
PS. I’m a middle aged white woman! Not a guy! So my compliment is truly meant and truly felt!
Keven, great to have you back…didn’t know what happened to you after your last post on Nov. 28; although, because of your political views, I was a bit concerned that you might have become one of those, without-a-trace, “disappeared”. Great blog, good writing…keep up the good work, young man.
Hi Kevin – Welcome back!! We have all missed you very much and wish you a speedy recovery.
I just read your 11/5/10 post – was it all worth it? -
and was amazed. I hope you never feel alone or like an outcast because you shouldn’t. It’s wonderful to be fearless and to stand up for what you believe in. If only more people did so!! You are truly a role model for all of us. Stand tall, Kevin.
So happy to see you’re back, Kevin! Happy New Year! I agree about the Changeling. Both Eastwood as director and Angelina as the lead did a fantastic job! Another thing in Angie’s favor is that she does not like Obama, so I’ve read.
I’ve always liked Angie for being unabashedly herself — which was pretty dark and sad for a while — and coming out the other side as a great humanitarian. About Brad leaving Aniston… I think he needs to take responsibility and be blamed for it because he was the husband who broke his vows and left his wife. But I can see why he left her. Like he has said, he was a lost individual who was bored with Hollywood and he desperately wanted a family. I think he wanted to find more purpose in life and Angie showed him the way toward philanthropy, charity work, and a family. I have nothing against Aniston, but she was too caught up in making it as a film actress and in her red-carpet image; Brad had already done that and been there. You could spot that eventual break up a mile away. In my opinion, he was ready to sprint from that marriage. If it wasn’t Angie it would have been someone else.
I agree with you. He made it pretty clear in a lot of interviews that he wanted a family and Aniston just didn’t seem interested. I had always liked Aniston but a few of us at work (we’re RNs) were talking about her the other day and opining that we think she has a problem. She has dated every man that she has had a movie with and seems to be very “clingy and desperate.” I think she has chased away most of her suitors.
I like Angelina and I think it just took her a while to grow up. You can’t force someone to stay in love with you. I know that from experience. Love is fickle and I think Brad fell in love with Angie because his marriage to Jennifer was already on it’s way out.
Glad you’re back, Kevin.
Kevin, WELCOME BACK! I’ve missed you. The world has been out of sync without your voice to light our way.
I agree Jolie did a great job in that movie even though I don’t care for her and most actors generally. Bet the Jack Reacher movie is pretty good too, but I can’t even stomach the thought of watching Tom Cruise play my hero….
I too had checked Hillbuzz after the new year and almost emailed you several times, Kevin, concerned that something had happened to you. I was actually relieved to learn you “just” had surgery. I look forward to your writing every morning, it got me thru the election and helps me stay positive ! Please take care — hugs and healing thoughts from the west coast !
I am late to the “welcome back party” but want to add I am so thankful to see you Kevin. I was afraid you were having health issues so I have kept you in my prayers. You have been a light to me for so long and I have missed you.
Take care of yourself and get strong again.
In the wise words of Governor Palin, “Don’t retreat……reload!”
Oh, I just want to add, I have never seen this movie because I tend to avoid Jolie like the plague, but it does sound like a good movie so I will check it out. Thanks for the heads up!
Glad to see you back, Kevin. Was afraid you had caught the oh-woe-is-us-and-it-is-all-for-nothing flu. Happy to see that was not the case and that you will be back in the fight.
As to Ms. Jolie she has the can at times be the most drop-dead gorgeous woman out there as well as a terrific actresses. And other times she can definitely cause you to some serious head scratching.
Kevin,
I am THRILLED that you are back. If you ever need time off again, please give us a heads-up. My husband, and my sister and I all love you and we were worried sick.
I wish we were neighbors but I’d need a lobotomy to move to Chicago. We live in Danbury CT but are considering a move to western NY. You could meet us there!!! LOL.
Again, we are all so happy that you are back. You are truly in our prayers.
Glad you are back. I missed you! Sorry you were ill and hope you are much better. I agree with you about the movie. It was excellent and thought provoking that something like this could happen in this country. Not surprised about LA though, as it has always been corrupt.
Frgive me for reposting this but I really want to get some thoughts on this issue and what if anything we should be doing about it. The official White House web-site has posted a petition to classify the Catholic Church as a hate group. Although the Ocommie administration can and should remove the petition because the Catholic Church has none of the criteria needed to be considered a hate group it will not. The Catholic Church is the arch enemie of the communists and the islamists because they are ecumenical and powerful. And if they don’t destroy the Catholic Church they will have much difficulty destroying Latin American families and herding them onto their entitlement plantations like they did to African American families.
Nice to see you back, Kevin.
Kevin,
So glad you mentioned The Changeling with George C. Scott. It is my favorite movie of all time! It is super scary and that old fashioned wheelchair gave me nightmares for a while. I highly recommend it, though I’ve seen it more recently and it didn’t seem as scary as I remembered.
Changeling with Jolie was an unexpected surprise for me too. As a forensic scientist, I was intrigued by the real life case that it was based on. It really is a great movie. The acting, the costumes, sets, everything was top notch.
Also, welcome back!
Thank God you’re back. Hope you get to feeling stronger each day. I have to say I was relieved to find out that your absence was due to having surgery, I thought you’d been Breitbarted. Heaven forbid. In this upside down world we find ourselves in and with the state run propaganda MSM, we need all the voices we can get. Thank you for all you do, Kevin. God Bless.
For those of you who are about to view Changeling, it is a fantastic movie but be warned – there is an incredibly disturbing scene in the film that still pops into my head and chills me to the bone now and then.
That being said, the message of the film is so relevant today; people in power saying “you don’t know what’s best for you, WE know what’s best for you.” Chilling.
KEVIN, we all missed you and so glad o hear you are back. I was scared you were done with politics like alot of my conservative friends are.
All the best and speedy recovery!
Kevin, I’m glad you’re back posting and hope all is well with you and Justin.
I have a simple question which is; will you still support Hillary Clinton if she decides to run in 2016?
Kevin- glad you’re back. I had about given up that youd write sgain but I couldn’t resist checking your blog occasionally for news of your whereabouts. Your disappearance came so soon after the election that I wondered if you just gave up on trying to make sense of politics. I kind of have. Your pearls of wisdom are always welcome however. As cliche as it sounds I guess we just have to “Keep Calm and Carry On”. Take care and feel better.
Glad to see you back Kevin, enjoy your commentary, it’s important!
From: Straight (old) Republican guy in Denver…
Hi Kevin,
Hope all is well. I didn’t know you were sick, and I’m glad and hopeful the new year will be well for you and yours. I saw this movie, and your are so right, very inspirational. It’s hard to believe this could happen in our country, but it is a good lesson in why you cannot simply trust the word of the powers that be. I sense we have so much corruption going on in the highest places, and I believe more and more Americans are “catching on” to the fact that Barack Obama is just plain and simply a liar. The most obvious and egregious lie was Obama telling the 98% that they would not pay anymore in taxes, and before he is even inaugurated bamo, up go everybody’s taxes. Except the rich of course. I don’t understand why anyone believed they would pay more if they weren’t paying taxes at the rate they already should have been paying. Does anyone actually believe Warren Buffett and his ilk would pay more? Nah, just more loopholes for the greedy. My husband and I were just talking this morning about how low and depressing Obama and his crowd have made this country. It permeates everything around us. I am so sad right now for my country, but I will never give in to the narrative he and his administration are trying to peddle. I have nothing but contempt and scorn for these cretinous people, and in the end, I believe they will get exactly what is coming to them. Unfortunately for the rest of us, we will suffer for the ignorance of others. Godspeed to you on your recovery, and keep up the good work.
Kevin, I am so delighted to see you posting again. So sorry to hear you have undergone surgery. I hope your pain subsides quickly and you get well soon. As far as your review of The Changeling, you really captured the essence of the movie. If ever you think one person can’t make a difference, just think of yourself. You are truly an inspiration and have united so many of us. Another movie you might like, if you haven’t already seen it is Walking Tall. Very powerful. Holding good thoughts for you. Take care.
With my best wishes… You have all been in my thoughts. I’ve been dealing with a few issues of my own, so I can sympathize; but not as major as surgery, so I can’t precisely say that I’ve been there with you.
I will also start by saying how wonderful it is to see you back, Kevin. I assumed you weren’t feeling well and have been praying for you. Will continue in prayers for recovery from your surgery.
I saw Changeling and thought it was excellent. I usually enjoy anything Eastwood puts out, because I think he makes thought provoking films that are beautifully filmed. Jolie is what she is; our society allows kooks like her to have louder voices than brilliant people like Allen West. It’s sad, but at least she has done some philanthropic work, unlike some of her Hollywood colleagues.
My big excitement over the winter holiday was to go and see Les Miserables. Totally, totally amazing and worth the price of the theater ticket. (when you’re up for an evening out, Kevin)
Best wishes from frozen NE Oregon. I echo all who have welcomed you back. The good news–it is all down hill to SPRING from here–and I think that will be good for us all.
Kevin, am so glad to see you back! Like everyone else, I missed you and worried about you. Did searches to see if I could find out anything and ran into a bunch of garbage..but no news.
Am so sorry to hear that that you were ill, and I hope you heal and get stronger fast!
Will get the movie and watch it. Maybe not be that big of a fan of Angelina, but I do like Eastwood.
BTW, this post came across my FB page last night. Since I was not familiar with the source..I just made a mind note of it and didn’t repost. We live in such a world of disinformation that I don’t to add to it….you can see what you think–you may be familiar with the source.

Am glad you are back!! Take care and be well!!
If you are looking for people who are working for justice, check out LawlessAmerica.com One man started a crusade against the judicial system that has spread across the country. He went from state to state filming the stories of people hurt by that system. At the beginning of February there will a mass meeting in DC where people from the various states will present packages to all of the Congress people telling them what is going on in their states. Later there will be a movie made for theaters. Although LA is about every kind of judicial corruptions, what is going on in family courts is extremely dangerous. Everyone should check it out.
Liberal Judges are the enemy all all law abiding citizens especially women and children. Liberal judges make America a damgerous place by their constant advocacy for the devil.
So sorry you’ve been under the weather !
I hope your recovery is under way……Have missed you….Stay well after this !
Glad to see you are back. And as always, an inspiration to many.
Grateful that you are back Kevin.
Glad to have you feeling better as we all paddle into this New Year.
It’s kind of funny- I just asked my 21 y.o. daughter if she had seen the movie. I said you had just written a raving review.
My next sentence was-”He refused to see it when it first came out”-at the same time, she said the very same thing replacing the pronoun with YOU” I didn’t hear her properly as the cadence of our sentences was almost exact-
I then asked if she had read your review (thinking she was repeating your sentence.)
She said “No Mom- You refused to see it when it first came out”… Ha Ha–same reasons…
She loved the film when it was released. I look forward to catching it soon. Thanks for the recommendation!
Blessings to you and yours.
Odd thing happened today. Was unable using google to connect to hillbuzz. It almost seemed as though the site disappeared.
Kevin, I’m joining in with everyone else to say that I am so glad you are back, and I hope you are on the mend. I’ve missed you since the election, and look forward to your insights in the future — we need you in our country these days.
Take care –
I’m also glad you’re back, Kevin. I was quite worried when I did not see any new posts here!
I won’t be going to the movies anytime soon. Don’t want to support any of those liberal idiots. When Stevie Wonder songs come on the radio on the way to work, I change the station. Won’t ever be seeing/listening to Johansen, Hanks, Freeman, Beyonce, Dunham, Longoria, etc. in a movie, tee vee show, or ever again.
We missed you glad to see you back.
I saw Changeling and thought it was excellent.
Kevin I hope you are all right. Please take care of yourself. We all love and miss you.Hugs
Hi, Kevin. Glad to see Hillbuzz is back up! I tried checking the site last week and couldn’t get it to come up.
I hope you’re feeling better. Take care of yourself.
Best wishes to Justin also.
Missing ya, Kevin! Hoping the recup is going well!
I love Changeling. It’s one of Jolie’s best performances together with A Mighty Heart, Gia and Girl, Interrupted.
lol Jolie and Thornton had one of those flower lockets and they would poked their fingers with a pin and rubbed a little bit on the locket. According to Thornton it was symbolic for them as a couple. Jolie kissed her brother in the lips, like Javier Bardem kissed his mother in the lips at the Oscars recently. Many families do that.
I like Jolie. Folks forget that when she did all that she was a teenager and young women. All that happen when she was less than 25. She was a little crazy like many of us are at that age.
I was reading about her charity work the other day, and It’s funny that a 1 year after those Oscars she join the UNHCR and started the adoption of her first son. She did her first official mission w/ the UNHCR in Fev of 01 and was appointed UNHCR ambassador in Aug of 01. Her charity work is extraordinary. It’s not just the UNHCR, but many, many other projects. Some of the folks she helps are wounded US soldiers that she often visits.
Wow, Kevin! Aren’t we a pair?
I read that you had surgery. Ouch! Strength and Beauty, Brother!
Me? I’ve had 3 different jobs in the last 2 months. How bizzare is that? I was one place, and poof, I was gone. I got another gig, and in about 3 weeks, I was “terminated.” Now I’m a 1099 sub-contractor, and I hope that the popcorn quits popping.
I’ll pray for you.
Please pray for me.
Blessings on your path,
Newt
I’ve been coming here from time to time to check on Kevin. Does anyone knows if he’s okay?
How refreshing is this post! I love that you are recognizing what is happening out there….Anyone with a voice is being quieted in a weird kind of way. I believe in the concept of LIVE FREE OR DIE…Do not be afraid and STAND UP FOR WHAT IS RIGHT!!! I have shared your site with like minded individuals…Welcome back. We have alot of evil in the world now and we certainly need more like you Kevin.
So happy that you’re back, Kevin. I’ve missed you.
Kevin – Missing you again. My thoughts are with you. Many of us worry whenever the site goes silent.
Kevin, glad you are back. I need to impress upon you and your reading audience that the movie “Changeling” should be out there front and center. If Clint Eastwood produced it, it must be worth seeing! For several years I have become involved with human trafficking issues. “Changeling” is this real life incident that happened in the 1920s and 1930s but is happening today at a faster pace than ever. Small children are taken away for pedophiles’ pleasures. The end of the movie when the actual criminal is caught and he gets his just desserts, is VERY chilling!
So the tragedy that happened to Christine Collins is happening to many parents in the U.S. and all over the world. The average age for girls to be kidnapped and brought into prostitution rings is between 12-14 years of age. Young boys are being nabbed too. Why does the press turn a blind eye to what is happening to children sucked into all matter of evil? The debacle that happened at Penn State with the young boys is no different than what was going on with the little boys in the “Changeling” movie. Why do people not want to recognize this? Evil is too ugly and disgusting. Eastwood set out to show evil in this movie, let us not forget that. He did a GREAT job of showing us “the empty chair.” Now what are we going to do about it?
Kevin, Although I’m not a frequenter here, there were past times when I was here in full camping mode. I remain a serious admirer. I’m hoping that whatever is keeping you from publishing will soon get out of your way. Best wishes.
