Just got home from visiting the family north of Boston. People are not happy with Dr. Utopia, even those who voted for him, YES! I was looking for signs, but did not see any in my hometown perhaps because the ground is frozen. Television commercials seemed very even, one for Martha one for Scott, good job everyone. What we are doing is working, God bless and good night.

If every person who disagrees with what is going on in DC changed their W-4 withholding tomorrow to 38 exemptions, wouldn’t the Treasury would be feeling the effects in two weeks?

I am doing exactly that, I am changing my W2 forms so that my excemptions go up, and the fed. govt THAT NO LONGER REPRESENTS ME, does not get my money immediately.
If 1 million people did this, the impact on the Tresury would be immediate and HUGE.
We did this last year, to the feds and state.
I won’t do it for my state’s excemption, I like my governor ,yes even as a former democrat,Bob Mcdoneld, he is vowing to block Virginia from this POS rationcare bill. And I am so thankful to him and the AG for looking out for VA residents.
I will however be doing that with my W2 for my Federal excemptions!!!!
If you change your exemptions on your W-4, you should be careful that you change it back fairly quickly, because I believe there is a fine and penalty and interest and all those hateful IRS tactics if you have not paid/withheld at least 90% of your prior year’s tax. If you have a state income tax, they probably have the same rule.

Scott Brown will win, I am convinced. While I applaud everyone planning strategies for keeping their eyes and ears open on election day itself, I think we also need a lawyer in the trenches already prepping for what comes next.
