Great Merciful Zeus — Penn State pimped young boys out to DONORS for sex

Posted on November 10, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Featured Content, Great Merciful Zeus

Yesterday, I was talking to a friend about what’s going on at Penn State and she asked me what I thought should happen, and I told her without hesitation that everyone on the administrative staff of Penn State should be fired immediately…and a good portion of them should go to prison.

EVERYONE. Down to the last secretary in the administrative offices.  Every last one of these people need to be fired, because there is no way that the rapes of young boys wouldn’t have filtered through to the administrative assistants, file clerks, and janitors at that school over the years.

And anyone who heard even a RUMOR of young boys being raped at Penn State should have dropped whatever they were doing to RUN to the nearest phone to call the police.  Absent any access to a phone, they should have taken off running through the streets making as much noise as possible until authorities were alerting to what was going on.

ALL OF THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE FIRED.

Apparently, the next bombshell to drop in all of this is that young boys were pimped out to wealthy Penn State donors so these men (and possibly some women) could have sex with minors and have their perversions facilitated by Penn State in exchange for contributions to the school.

That’s the sort of thing that perverts in Europe fly to Thailand to do to little boys and girls…and here it appears this was happening in “Happy Valley” Pennsylvania all this time.  No wonder American sickos weren’t going to Thailand…it was a much shorter flight to College Station, Pennsylvania.

All of Penn State’s large donors need to be investigated by the police immediately.

Everyone in Penn State’s development office needs to be dragged down to the police station and held under the Patriot Act until they crack and divulge what, exactly, was being done in terms of sexually trafficking minors at Penn State.

PLEASE READ THIS ARTICLE NOW -- it is the most disturbing thing I have come across in years.

******************************************************************************************

If reading this outrages you, do something about it.

Pick up the phone and give the people involved a telephone call and tell them what you think about this story.

You will make a difference because there is just no way that all of this could have gone on at Penn State for all these years without hundreds of people knowing it was happening and looking the other way.

I’ve worked in development offices at nonprofits and let me tell you, the secretaries and assistants gossip like nobody’s business. There is a lot of down time in the development circles and a nice coffee cubby area in every development office. There is no way that young boys could have been pimped out at Penn State to large donors without the entire development staff knowing what was going on and choosing to look the other way.

Please call Penn State and the Second Mile Foundation’s Development Offices and tell them that everyone working there needs to be ashamed of themselves for not calling the police and demanding an investigation into what was happening to young boys at Penn State.

I am going to call as many of these people as I can today and tell them they should be ashamed of themselves for not going to the police with anything they may have heard regarding the sexual trafficking and rape of young boys at Penn State.

Excellent point Kevin. I agree. This needs to be investigated as far as possible. This is so very disturbing. I read the GJ report and it is graphic. May justice be done. How long has this been covered up to protect college football? When people talk about Penn State, it is almost revered as a religious icon. Keep this going and make your point as visible as possible. Thanks!

    You are right.

Educators, health professionals, emergency responders MUST act on and report all suspected abuse.
Failure to do so should result in immediate dismissal.

It is beyond repulsive that this went on for years and years.

Did you read the article that said the prosecutor who never charged Sandosky has been missing since 2005 and declared dead? According to the article he may have felt he didn't have enough evidence to convict yet.I find it really weird that he just disappeared.Foul play maybe by someone at the college? It makes you wonder.

Have you ever read about the Franklin case concerning pedophilia and pimping out children to rich connected adults? This might be the same kind of thing. Maybe they kept Jo Pa on past his time because he was easily manipulated (because of his age) concerning these goings on. A prosecutor disappears, this goes on for years…….sounds like it could involve some very powerful people.

First, I don't believe the pimping rumor. Second, I believe it would have been in the Grand Jury transcripts, and I haven't heard that to be the case..plus, it has been specifically reported as "a rumor". As far as the prosecutor being missing, that is strange, but by all accounts, he didn't like Penn State, so if he had thought he had enough to prosecute, he would have….. He had the reputation of going after anyone if the case warranted it no matter how important or powerful they were. Ironically, in all this, everyone but Sandusky is being hauled through the trash….and the victims are being lost in the shuffle. I do not believe that Paterno knew more than the basic, and if there were any truth to the Pimping charge, he would have sounded the alarm. How he handled the charge he knew about probably wasn't enough, but he has led an exemplary life, he and his wife have given back to the community tenfold, while that doesn't excuse this lapse in judgement, it is a gauge of his character.

I hope you're right about pimping rumor being false. That is too much to contemplate. But, at the same time, I don't want to give a pass of any kind to Paterno simply because of what he and his wife have done to give back. That matters not a bit to me if he was aware of something. When you look at this, Paterno certainly has the motivation to keep this underwraps. PSU receives a lot of cash from very wealthy people. They certainly do not want to their money to be part of an effort that seeks to cover up such monstrous acts. So, is it possible that Joe Paterno just kept a blind eye on this situation? I certainly hope not. Also, while not giving cover to PSU, they certainly have motive to cover this up because abrupt dismissal or any acts to bar Sandusky from the campus would raise red flags.

No, I firmly believe that if Paterno had that information, it would have pushed the issue to a whole different level. I don't think the Pimping rumor is true…..if for no other reason, than that puts too many people into the mix, and once something like that hits the fan, it goes nuclear.

In 2002, one of Joe Paterno's assistant coaches, a graduate student, walked into a locker room where Sandusky was RAPING a 10 year old boy! When Joe Paterno was told about it, the very next day, he did the absolute bare minimum – reporting it to the athletic director and campus security. Almost TEN years later, he now says that in hindsight he should have done more!

What kind of information do you believe would have caused him to "push the issue to a different level"? He received a FIRST person account of the RAPE of a CHILD and it was not the first time that Jerry Sandusky had been investigated. No way Joe Paterno didn't know the rumors and now it was absolutely confirmed by an eyewitness and he still didn't do anything more than notify the school officials. And he REMAINED on the board of the Second Mile Club working with this man whom he KNOWS to be a serial child abuser!

I do not care how much "good" Joe Paterno has done in his life. When faced with a choice to confront evil and stop it, he chose to look the other way. Kevin is correct – there should be criminal charges brought against every single person at Penn State who was a part of covering up this horrific abuse!

Not knowing what the initial accusation was when it was given to Paterno, and I do believe it was not as graphic as the Grand Jury version, it could have been questionable. The fact that Paterno pursued it on faith…is important. If someone told you your husband or wife raped a child, and you knew your spouse for dozens of years, never say any indication, would you have called the police, divorced them? Black and white isn't always the reality. If Paterno had witnesed the assault, I have no doubt Sandusky would still be hospitalized… But once that thought is in your mind, then you tend to be watchful. If something like Pimping had even been mentioned, had come across the radar, then it would probably have been different, that is what I meant about a whole different level. Accusations are just that….why that AG didn't pursue the accusation in '98 is a mystery, and he could have …. but he didn't….we will never know why. Hindsight is great, its a shame we don't have it before hand.

If someone that I knew well and had no reason to distrust told me that they witnessed my husband RAPING a 10 year old child, I would immediately go to him and demand a full and complete explanation and from that conversation, I would either go after the other person for libel, slander or anything else that applied OR I would call the police myself and report that I had just commited murder and tell them where they could pick up the body!

Joe Paterno DID nothing beyond reporting the rape to the athletic director. He continued to work with and support Sandusky in his foundation. He, along with others at the University, willfully turned a blind eye and allowed countless other children to be victimized. Show me one time when it appears that Paterno was being "watchful"!

As for the Attorney General who disappeared, I suspect that there may have been some very influential, wealthy people who didn't want this case investigated.

The AG, who had a fierce reputation for going after anyone regardless of status, had a report in 1998 and didn't think he had a case. Paterno was told about the 2002 assault, but there is no indication that the AG was investigating Sandusky or PSU regarding that assault. The AG, who went missing in 2005, also handled crimes….not just the Sandusky case. We in PA have been known to have some major crimes that he would have investigated as well as the Sandusky case. All of the issues you mentioned in the start of your letter don't in instantaneous cures. If you had access to a wide range of people who you felt were better able to investigate and proceed with it, are you saying you wouldn't go that route? The one thing you wouldn't want to do is prejudice a case, and most of us who don't deal with pedophiles or crimes in general, would be prone to misstep. Several of my old friends are retired homicide cops….and they all agree that a pedophile will never be "cured" and confinement or worse, is the only safe way to deal with them…but the bile isn't being leveled at Sandusky, but at Paterno. Thinking the AG was murdered to hide an investigation that wasn't going on, is more "Oliver Stone" than I ever want to get. I just don't believe it.

I read the Grand Jury Transcripts. You are correct Kevin. There is no way Paterno and crew did not know what was transpiring with Sandusky. The 28 year old graduate assistant told the Grand Jury that he told Paterno exactly what he saw Sandusky doing to the little boy. It broke my heart reading what that foul man did to that little boy. Panterno and crew downplayed what the graduate assistant said he had witnessed. I hope they are all prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

After reading these reports on Hillbuzz, I scoured the internet to read everything on this tragic scandal. I am sickened by what has been going on, perpetrated by that pedophile, Sandusky. And what is the matter with all of these ADULTS (and yes, a grad student is an adult) who SAW this guy raping children in the showers at Penn State and did NOTHING on the spot? I mean, what did the chid have to do to get an adult witness to take action? I'd like to know from my fellow Hillbuzz readers, what would YOU do if you walked in on something like this? I know my husband would have grabbed Sandusky and beaten the crap out of him ON THE SPOT! Forget about reporting this to the proper authorities for action. STOP the crime while it is in progress and THEN take the appropriate action. Instead, the grad student left the building and called his DAD???? Then waited until the next day to report anything? And the janitor who walked in on Sandusky in the act waited to tell his boss? Whatever happened to protecting the children?

Thank you. Finally, someone is addressing this. McQueary should be fired too. If he had walked in on Sandusky punching a 10 year old repeatedly, would he have stepped in? Definitely. This was abuse. This was a crime that he could have stopped. If the eye witness only thought it was important enough that it could wait a day, why is everyone else being held to a higher standard? McQueary is a coward, and an enabler. People need to quit acting as if he has a kid. 15 and 16 year olds get tried as adults because they should know right from wrong. He was 27.

If all this is true, then the outrage is absolutely justified.

However, I am uncomfortable that we are so willing to give Herman Cain a complete pass on any possible past transgression but are so quick to believe all negative rumours surrounding Penn State. I tend to think Cain is being set up and Sandusky stinks, but these are my opinions only and neither opinion is currently supported by facts.

Terrible crimes if true. But, this post sounds like the rally call for a lynching mob. Please wait, until the investigation is completed before you rush to judge these people. We still have due process and the presumption of innocence in this country.

Do you agree with the simple statement that people are innocent until proven guilty? Yes or No?

If you agree with that then don't call and harass anyone until you know *all* the facts, and they are indeed facts and not rumors or speculation. You are just speculating and jumping out in front of a lynch mob. It may feel empowering, but it ain't right. That's not how this country works, sir. Get a grip, bite your tongue, count to ten before you throw the rope over the tree branch and start hanging people.

You're right, but it is "presumed innocent". The prosecution can believe that there was a crime here. He can presume that there is sufficient evidence, and there is sufficient corroboration. You're absolutely right in that the defendent has a right to due process. But we are human and we do react, especially when it seems that there a concerted effort to protect an institution, and against means that would limit fund-raising. Our reaction must never be one in which we become a lynch mob out there with pitch forks and torches.

“Defendants” are “presumed guilty” during criminal proceedings. The “presumption of innocence” is a legal construct. An important legal construct, yes, but don’t confuse it with reality.

“People” who have had sex with 10-year olds are, in reality, rapists, whether or not they are caught doing it, whether or not anyone witnesses it, and whether or not they ever see the inside of a courtroom, and whether or not they are “found guilty.”

I’m not a judge, and I’m not on the jury, so I’m under no legal obligation to give a rapist the benefit of the doubt or presume him innocent…especially when every single account of the event states that Mike McQueary walked in on ol’ Jerry ****ing a 10-year-old boy in the ***.

      I’m entitled to my outrage.

The kids were from their foundation for disadvantaged kids, I think it’s called “The Second Mile” that Kevin is referring to in asking for calls. So this (these) sickos were preying upon children who had already been victimized once in their life by not having good parents or not being born into good situations…. Perfect shopping grounds for victims of these horrifying crimes.

If we take away the emotional reaction to this, I have to call attention to the judgment exercised by these so-called adults. Take for instance, it was not until 10 days after the grad assistant had witnessed the rape did the two university officials then question the assistant, who was a primary witness. What did they do for the nearly 10 days in between? Questioned over and over again in their minds what this scandal would do to their fund raising??? Was the delay in debriefing the assistant a means for the assistant to forget some details so that the university does not have to deal with this?? My goodness – this is unbelievable! If you lived in a gated community and you witnessed one of your residents rape a victim, do you think, ok, how do I spin this in my mind so that it's not so bad?? What is wrong here? One of the guys was a VP with the school who was in charge of security, and he had reasoned with himself that there was no crime? That is not up to him to decide!

If this rumor is true, then this already sordid and tragic affair becomes a scandal of monumental proportions. Yet however unthinkable it may seem, remember, Joe Paterno has been fired as fallout from a child sexual abuse scandal. Those of you who follow college football to any degree know what an utterly preposterous statement that is. But it's reality. I'm speechless.

I'm a pretty big college football fan and this whole thing just sickens me. Joe Paterno was one of the most respected coaches, not just because he won a lot of games but because he was a role model for his players and the rest of the school. I'm willing to bet that there are some young kids who had dreams of playing for Paterno one day (young kids who are not unlike these victims who now have to deal with these horrific things). The entire coaching staff has let the team, the school and the community down big time. I'm not a Penn State fan, necessarily, but this is appalling no matter what team you support. This whole thing brings shame to all of college sports. I don't care if you're the champion of the freaking universe, the gloves come off when it's a child getting abused. Everyone who knew about this – including Paterno – deserves everything they get from the fallout of this scandal.

Another quick fact-check here… the rumors of the pimping are not regarding Penn State donors, but donors to Sansusky's charity organization The Second Mile. Sandusky was able to keep an office at the university to run his charity after retirement, but was not a university program. Not making it any less horrific to what was done (if that rumor is true), but let's not confuse facts- this was not an official Penn State program.

Just so you all know when you are ever confronted by this same situation where you are told or witness… play it cool cuz you don't want to end up dead. Then, as soon as you can, call the police and social services. Whatever harm or threats come your way after that to keep it under wraps – it is too late cuz the cat is out of the bag.

Years ago a man who ran a boys' summer camp through a church confessed to a fellow church member what he and others were doing to the boys. She told him that he had to go to the police or she was. She ended up dead. The church prayed and prayed but there were no lead in her death.. Then, though it had been talked about for years, that year the town's man-made lake was drained for repairs. And, there the murder weapon was found. It was eventually connected to the man. He confessed and dragged down with him the rest of em.
