Great Merciful Zeus: Arizona Governor Jan Brewer is kind of our new hero

Posted on May 22, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

Seriously, this is the sort of campaign ad we’d make if we worked for Brewer’s campaign.

And had puppets.

Who are we kidding, we’ve already got the puppets.

We just need to work on figuring out how to make campaign ads…that are chock full of awesome, like this one.

We’ve seen much speculation on exactly why our race-baiting Attorney General Eric Holder and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano (and seemingly everyone in the Obama Administration) keep claiming they have not read Arizona’s immigration enforcement law.

It’s either because these people are illiterate, which is unlikely, because they’re all also on record praising the literary heft of both Dreams of My Father and The Audacity of Hope (authored, respectively, by William Ayers and Jon Favreau), OR it’s because someone at the White House told all these people to “just say you never read it” so that the administration would not have to come out against a sensible law enforcement maneauver.

All the Arizona law does is enforce existing federal law in the absence of the federal government’s will to do that itself.

Obama knows this.  His administration knows this. Holder and Big Sis and the rest all know this.

And they also know admitting they have actually read the bill, know what’s in it, and still have a problem with it means they’d all look even more stupid than they do being taunted by a puppet.

Hope!

Change!

Way to out-Alinsky the Alinskyites! Nothing stings as bad as a slap to the face with the big glove of ridicule – especially when it is well deserved.

    Kudos, AZ!

but could be these ads HAVE to be ‘dumbed down’ to actually teach Democrats in Washington something? After all, they are sometimes not the brightest bunch, eh…

My 4 year old adores that puppet. She keeps having me play it over and over again while she sings along with it.

It really is brilliantly done. How can anyone come out against reading? I love, love, love it! Put it on my facebook and have seen many of my friends do the same.

    This is a great commercial.

I also found this: Article IV, section 4 of the US Constitution requires the US Government to protect states from ‘invasion’ and ‘domestic violence.’ Wouldn’t that include illegals crossing into the US to pillage, kidnap, murder, bribe, drug-smuggle, etc. The US Gov. is constitutionally required to step in and help AZ. Remind your senator.

I think you have a point here.

Why aren’t there any calls for the Atty General of Arizona to sue the Obama Administration in Federal Court, based upon Article IV Section 4 of the Constitution?

Certainly the Obama Administration’s inaction on this matter is unconstitutional… at least.

The Campaign signs need to show this as the Progressive movements mission because its their truth that they won’t talk about , but is everything their legislation is drafted to be about , and is why they don’t read the bills because its to much to stomach but you can bet they won’t be taking the medicine they are going to feed all us .

It’s hard to ignore the eugenics undertone of his speech when you realize that population control among other things is the endgame of the “environmental movement.” Back when I was in grade school and a future ice age was predicted, Paul Ehrlich wrote the book “The Population Bomb” which made the same allegations, only in his worldview, overpopulation led to global cooling and mass starvation. His solutions included exporting abortion and mass sterilization to third world countries, and promoting both among the “underclass” in the U.S.

After Glenn Beck talked about This.. I checked out Emerald Cities Collaborative and the Gates’ Foundation was a part of that organization.. I can not find it on there now…….

“In December 2009 The Joyce Foundation awarded Raines and Enterprise a $200,000 grant to launch Emerald Cities Collaborative. According to its website, “The Emerald Cities Collaborative (ECC) is a start-up, national coalition of diverse groups that includes unions, labor groups, community organizations, social justice advocates, development intermediaries, research and technical assistance providers, socially responsible businesses, and elected officials.”

Emerald Cities’ goal is “the greening of our nation’s central cities and the creation of a “new vital economic sector.” The collaborative is headed up by Joel Rogers, widely recognized as the “man behind the curtain” of today’s progressive political movement. Rogers founded the powerful Apollo Alliance, the group recognized as having shaped much of the Obama administration’s stimulus bill. Former White House green jobs “czar,” Van Jones, described Rogers influence this way: “The best thinking that he represents… is now represented in the White House.”

Also represented on the Emerald Cities board of directors, Gerald Hudson, executive director of SEIU (also on the Apollo Alliance advisory board); Phaedra Ellis-Lamkins, CEO of Green For All (created by Van Jones), and Doris Koo, CEO of Enterprise Community Partners, along with a collection of other union and community activist regulars.”

I keep hoping that some repubican will talk about the root of the criminal invader problem. And that is the Mexican government itself. Calderone came here and lectured us. I think our next Repubican president should go there and tell them to solve the problem by adopting the US constitution as its own. Mr. Calderone, tear down your crooked government ways. Empower individuals to succeed and soon, if you are lucky, americans will be sneaking into your country to avoid Obamacare.

They are idiots of the highest degree. Does anyone remember when Napolitano, as gov of AZ, begged Bush to send in the National Guard because of the illegal entrants? She of all people clearly understands (and I know she does, she’s just pretending not to) the problems facing AZ? Not to worry though, cause it appears that Jan Brewer is kicking ass and taking names.

I love this ad and Jan Brewer is my new hero. I also loved it when she recently called Obama the chump-in-chief.

America should stop spending its dollars in Mexico–schools should suggest that students not take their spring breaks in Mexico–which has already become increasingly dangerous to do.

Add Jan Brewer to the list of GOP women who have more balls than all the men put together. There are very few Republicans who would have the guts to make an ad like this. Bravo to her! Again, I find myself jealous of Arizona that she is their governor.

(As for Holder and Uncle Janet not reading the law, I would think something in the job description of Attorney General and Head of Homeland Security would have mentioned the fact they maybe, possibly, just might have to read bills passed during their time in office. But you know, what do I know?)

There’s no question they have read it. But if they admit they have, they face the prospect of explaining how it is different from the federal law, explaining how it is unconstitutional, or explaining how it promotes racial profiling, which they cannot do. Then they would have to stop their race-baiting, divisive statements, which they really do not want to do. They would rather look ignorant and lazy than give up their latest talking point and lay to rest the latest distraction from the oil gushing in the gulf and whatever else this administration is up to.

John Fund, WSJ columnist, just echoed your point on FOX News. Like you, he said that he thinks they aren’t reading it on purpose, because if they have read it and say that they have, then they look even stupider. Because there really isn’t anything in it to criticize.

Just heard him, and thought to myself, “Hey, that’s what the Boyz said.” Maybe he read your post.
