Read Sheya's article on how the Fox bigwigs are subtly trying to derail Palin. Especially trying to refer to her as contibutor Palin and not governor Palin. Looks like Ailes wanted her to boost their ratings hoping to use her as a puppet, but they got Palinized. Before they hired her they should have checked with her predecessor in the Wasilla mayors office and seen just how that strategy worked out for him.

From my vantage point, Sarah has been given or will be given a national stage where she will say things that the media will need to publish. This, in the eyes of the MSM, is a runaway train they cannot stop. The knowledge that she is not beholden to someone frightens them so much. Right now, there is all kinds of innoculation activity going on such as ways to cast her as a dim wit. But it's not working and it's frankly scaring the crap out of them. They know that she will say something about the present nitwit in the wh and ultimately further marginalize the MSM. This is an anticipated loss of control and power by the MSM. We need to keep pushing the effort to render the MSM completely impotent. Oops! I guess impotent is not a good word to use in light of weinergate! LOL!

RE: Cain's quote, I have to agree with him on that one. It applies to most of congress, actually. I used to work for a company that handled food distribution for the midwestern McDonald's restaurants, and I was impressed with the street smarts and attention to detail that the more successful franchise owners / managers exhibited. Back in 2001 I made the comment that Ted Kennedy wouldn't be qualified to run a McDonalds – now, we have a community organizer with the same lack of talent running the country.
I can tell you that what Mr. Cain said is so right on par. I came from a family which ran a business in retail and the details that one has to pay attention to can be overwhelming. But we had the smarts to do it and we were successful. What did it mean? You can't go play golf, you are not entitled to vacations, and you are not allowed to spend whatever money you want to get toys and things. But, out of this business, my parents managed to send us all to college and graduate schools. Mr. utopia would have fallen on his a** after the first hour.
