I can guarantee you that I will SHUN, i do mean, SHUN any business or professional, any accountant, lawyer, contractor, whatever who has supported this creep and his steering our country right into the valley of socialism. I’m still loving Palin pac’s “Mama Grizzlies” video.
And some of the comments about it from so called feminists and liberals on the internet are reminding me that I didn’t just leave the Dem party, I fled in terror.
One of these days I’ll write about how the current feminists hate alpha males and conservative women…. BUT, scarf them up in literature and movies…
ie, “Twilight”.
I was going to post on the “Mama Grizzlies” video but you girls beat me to it.
This is one of the most effective calls to action I’ve ever seen. Sarah understands women and their concerns. This video goes right to the heart of our feelings about family, country and the wrong direction of this country under President Obama.
Sarah just gets stronger as the liberals unleash their hatred upon her…what a gal! I grow more fond of her by the day.
Finally, feminism has a face I can relate to. Not a pinched, ugly mug spewing vile at everyone that doesn’t agree with them but a real woman, mother and America lover with a strong clear voice and courage beyond what I can imagine.

Olbermann mocked her Sarah’s new video last night on Countdown. He laughed at pink elephants being what drunks see. He was too stupid to catch the nuance that Sarah was saying that Washington incumbents were drunk with power and drunk with spending in her reference to pink elephants. It was brilliant on Sarah’s part. KO was too obtuse to understand and made a fool of himself – as usual. Sarah knew just what she was saying. Go Sarah!
For me it was also a reference to the republican symbol in the feminine- Pink = girly

I am hearing about Blago’s spending lavish money on clothes, on his not liking his job and being upset at everything and wanting it all to go away. But so far I have not heard that they proved that he planned to or was in the process of selling the senate seat. Was he a bad governor? Maybe so. But is he guilty of what they are charging him with? It’s like someone who gets caught cheating and there is a murder involved. The man is a cheater yes, but maybe not a murderer. Isn’t that what this case is about? If you are guilty just because you hate your job, then 3/4 of the people in America would be guilty. Am I missing something that has come out in court yet about Blago that would prove he is guilty of selling the senate seat? Has Obama’s name been mentioned in regards to any deal? (Obie wanted Valerie Jarrett to take the Senate seat).

According to some e-article I came across yesterday, a link between an SEIU union member (in his court testimony) and BO/his reps has been establish. Witnesses on the case will be testifying next week, and Bo and his team are getting very nervous about this. But will the msm cover the case? Nah.
I really think that the federal lawsuit against AZ, the oil spill, Obama campaigning is all a divert to keep the American public from focusing on the Blag trial.
It will be interesting to see what happens when the witnesses start testifying and if anyone reports it.

the SEIU member is Tom Balanoff who has been on the witness stand and has implicated Oboomboom.

She’s a loon for doing that. But Jerry Brown has so much baggage from his Mayoral gig in Oakland that it might take more than that to take her down.

In VA, no rain in 2 weeks and 90+ every day. The grass appears dead. My garden loves it but god is it hot.
L.A. does not get exceedingly hot in the summer. Right now it’s in the 60′s (granted it’s 9:30 a.m.) and in S.F., home of San Fran Nan, it’s a toasty 55 and foggy. :-> Perfect.
True for the most part, but August can be a scorcher. And when you consider some of the environs separated from the ocean by the high hills — the Valley, for instance — it doesn’t take much before you’d swear you’re in Arizona at its hottest.

I’m in So Cal … 10 blocks from the beach. We’re still awaiting summer. It’s been nothing but overcast and damp – including drizzle requiring wipers – and nary a ray of sun until late afternoon, if then. The last time this happened, we wound up in triple digit heat September to Christmas.

Cali. is going to have a “record warm and very dry Sept. and Oct.” So’ as much as I don’t like the June-Gloom, it gives us time to prepare. I live about 100 mile’s inland from the ocean, and it’s been gloomy here too! But when it warms-up, our average temp’s are always in the upper 90′s to a 100 plus daily..” So’ enjoying the “cooler temp’s” while it lasts…:)

Ten Bucks Friday is a poll that is put up every Sunday around the blogosphere. People vote and then you donate to the candidate that wins. There has been some controversy with the person who won this week. He is a birther. For some people that is good thing, for others it is not. You can make up your own minds about that topic. But he is running for the senate in Maryland, and the birther thing will not go over well in a general election in such a blue state.
Marco Rubio has been on every poll, he has yet to win, but you can nominate anyone. Although, I believe that people who are in charge of picking will not put up anyone who is openly a birther.
I put it on my blog every week. It is getting bigger and bigger every week. The candidates are also getting into the act and using twitter and facebook to push their supporters to the poll. It is an interesting way to find out about some lesser known candidates that have good fiscal conservative beliefs and get some much needed cash. There are no names in involved when you place your vote, so no worries about not being welcome. These candidates will be happy to have the exposure and the cash if they happen to win.

I’m on a mission. The LSM figures that we are too dumb to know or care about real news.
Nothing makes me sicker than to know that our election process is being tampered with. And that our laws to protect the process are being trashed. I am on a mission too. I can’t stress enough how important it is to get out the vote in November and early too. We’re going to have to work twice as hard to get honest registered voters to the polls to vote as “they” will to gerrymander the system with voter fraud and intimidation, as they did with Hillary and then McCain. If you can assist the elderly, disabled, or people in ill health to get to the polls or to get an absentee ballot for them, you will be an angel working for justice.
Has anyone considered that perhaps Obama stole his name? I know this sounds far-fetched but at one time he mocked the Republicans by saying his real name is Steve Dunham. That is a singularly unspectacular name. I wouldn’t put identity theft past him.
I’ve thought of that or that he was created pretty much out of thin air by a group to serve their purposes. It is just plain strange to me that he has this supposed background without people remembering him or connecting to him at different points in his life.

It is being reported here in Gulport MS that oil is now coming over the barrier islands,,,, Ship Island in the Mississippi Sound.. Not only is the Sound closed for commerical fishing and shrimping but the ferry taking our Coast guests to Ship Island is now adversely affected… Mississippi has a great governor in Haley Barbour but most hands seem to be tied due to the weather and the FEDs and BP..

Even if this plan were to succeed, I don’t understand how it would withstand Constitutional challenges.
The only way the electoral college can be changed is by Constitutional amendment. The states may decide how their electors are selected(winner take all or by district). This crap HAS been tried before and it didn’t work. If they think they can override the Constitution they are very wrong.
Just got back from the veterinary opthamologist. My baby, Stella (see avatar) has to have surgery to remove a growth on her eyeball. It is most likely melanoma; the good news is that it usually doesn’t spread in dogs. Surgery is scheduled for July 26. Think of us, please!

Your previous professors were/are ignorant and arrogant bullies. I went back to get my degree later in life so I used to love to tweak my professors [many younger than me] about history. My favorite question was “what is your source of information about that? I lived that history and that’s not how I remember it” forcing them to do research and when I brought in my research, he/she was wrong. What fun. Another tweak I had was in the philosophy/religion classes. When one prof said she believed there was no God I asked “What if you are wrong?” It was a pivotal moment. No one had ever asked her that. Ha! She had one of those moments.

At my age, I’m even naughtier now. My older cousin Michael calls me “NO FEAR”. Always worrying that I might lose a friend or colleague by what he calls my “rigidity”. He’s a little left of Chairman Mao. Hahaha.

In case you are not aware, the appeals court agreed with the first judge and kept the injunction on that moratorium. Ken Salazar is determined to stop the drilling anyway.
Thanks ozzieaussie, although they are covering the oil here in Mobile with Day 71 of the oil spill, it is very frustrating as no one seems to care anymore. The oil keeps coming, Obambi keeps ignoring it and the gulf coast is suffering. I hear all the time from businessess in the gulf area that BP is slow on paying some fisherman, fast to others and regular businesses have to wait to get a check. Our thoughts down here are how long can BP continue to pay out cash before filing bankruptcy and then where will we be. We also have waiters and waitresses filing claims of lost tips and then we heard strippers on bourbon street were wanting to file claims. Crazy…
It’s crazy for sure, but those girls work hard for that money. It wouldn’t surprise me if they claim loss tip wages that those creeps will check the IRS records to see if they ever reported tip wages before. It would also not surprise me if they fined those people with penalties. Creeps, the lot of them in DC.
Oh and now Jimmy Buffet is playing today in Gulf Shores which is great. What is not great is his rant about the oil spill being Bush’s fault. What an idiot! And I loved his music, now I hate him… Creep…. its obambi’s fault for the lack of response and the tying of everyone’s hands down here who try and do something…
You have to wonder why an entertainer would go down to the Gulf to do a show for the people and bring his political angst with him to shove down the throats of the very people’s spririts he’s trying to lift. Not to mention that in the Gulf states, the majority voted for GW Bush and McCain/Palin. When I heard I was very angry, but I don’t hate him. I have just dismissed him. He doesn’t exist anymore.

This is a very interesting, and insightful read. The author takes on the conventional wisdom of how “Prop 187″ supposedly, damaged the GOP in CA. Usually, such phenmenon are far more complicated and complex than the dumbed down talking points of the puniditry. And, of course, the liberal pundits are so concerned that this may be the same fate for AZ GOP.
