Fast and Furious: It’s D day for Holder
The headline should really read “It’s T day for Holder” because today is the day that our lying and devious attorney general goes before the congressional committee to testify (once again) about Fast and Furious. Remember when he last testified before the committee, back in May, he told everyone that he had only heard about Fast and Furious a “couple of weeks” before but information discovered since his testimony suggests that he knew about it way before that. According to sources close to the investigation, the committee doesn’t exactly have a “smoking gun” piece of evidence that says that Holder is behind the whole thing but they do have a mountain of circumstantial evidence and conflicting testimony from other witnesses that points to the fact that Holder is either lying through his teeth (and thus committing perjury) about whether he knew about this scandal or he is the absolute most incompetent Attorney General ever for not knowing what his underlings were doing down on our border with Mexico. Either way…many on Capitol Hill think he should go.
The Daily Caller obtained an advanced transcript of Holder’s testimony and as predicted by many…he’s going to push for tighter gun control measures in the US because of Fast and Furious and he’s going to blame the local authorities for cooking up the misguided scheme.
Here’s a little preview of what he is supposed to say today…
“Today, I would like to correct some of the inaccurate — and irresponsible — accusations surrounding Fast and Furious,” Holder’s prepared testimony reads. “Some of the overheated rhetoric might lead you to believe that this local, Arizona-based operation was somehow the cause of the epidemic of gun violence in Mexico. In fact, Fast and Furious was a flawed response to, not the cause of, the flow of illegal guns from the United States into Mexico.”
In his testimony, Holder also advocates for new gun-control laws that he says would have halted, or at least prevented, Operation Fast and Furious. Holder echoes California Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s comments from last week, when she argued that stricter gun laws would have stopped law enforcement agents from facilitating the sale of guns to Mexican drug cartels.
Wait a minute….is he actually going to say that we need tighter gun control laws so that the ATF can’t pull off another debacle like Fast and Furious? In other words, we need to revise our 2nd amendment to protect ourselves from our own ATF?
Holy cow!

I believe gun control was the true purpose of Fast and Furious. They still have the arrogance to think they can pull it off.
Of course, gun control was the original and ONLY goal. If you really want to see Odummer get creamed in the next election, just let the regime continue to push that mantra. Remember what the Japanese said when discussing attacking the US mainland – "there is a gun behind every bush". Check out the amount of gun sales since Bamey took office…MILLIONS have been sold — as a matter of fact last month was one of the highest sales level for firearms. I wait – with unabated breathe – at what the sales will be for the current month! Case in point, I never personally owned a gun until after election day 2008. Now, not only do I own one, I have learned how to properly use and maintain the item. Odummer knows he must have control of ALL guns in order to continue the "fundamental transformation of America".

They were just making the best use of Drug Prohibition they could. And of course generally the 2nd Amendment community is oblivious to the threat. Because you know – (well actually I don't know, unless it is prejudice). Well it could be they actually believe criminals won't sell drugs to their kids. Or they believe they can keep their rights while the government violates the rights of others.

I do think history is quite ironic. I wonder how many voted for Obama thinking that a person so open about his youthful drug use surely will do something about prohibition.
If we in the private sector attempted to use this kind of logic, we would be gone the next year. It is especially appalling that there are loss of lives, no accountability, and at the same time, there is this concerted effort to preach that they're being moral about it.
The unbelievable arrogance!!!! These progressives are really seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. They realize that they are right on the cusp of taking over and are pushing for the wall. We have got to stop them now,,,,elections are too late and far away. Where the hell is the SCOTUS, where the hell is the military,,where is Congress. The press is not going to do it. We no longer have a govt of laws,,they have trampled all over our laws. I do think that we are not going to recover from this cliff edge.
But it was not the progressives who supported Drug Prohibition. The basis for this operation. It is/was conservatives who support the cartels by their support for prohibition. The joke is on you.
The trampling started with the conservatives with their love of Drug Prohibition. The Progressives merely tried to take advantage of that which conservatives support. Karma is a bitch my friends. An absolute bitch.
I am watching this closely. My congressman is on the committee investigating this and he has said the committee knows Holder is lying under oath. Okay?? Now what the heck are they going to do about it?
From the beginning of this scandal coming to light, I have believed this is all about the 2nd amendment. It is truly the height of arrogance that the ATF and Holder think this is the best way to get there. I am angry this administration thinks we are all sheeple!!
I agree,,,what the heck are they going to do about it??/ There is a full court press going on against everything this country is and stands for and you watch,,,somebody is going to say we need to move forward, mistakes were made,,blah, blah blah. I cannot believe that I am living through this, watching this happen. People need to go to jail, people need to be impeached. This whole picture just fleshes out Kevin's info yesterday concerning the cover up of jug ears and his life. Almost everyone is in cahoots and we do not have the mass to push back or the cajones to do what it takes to take our country back. We need to fight by their rules or we are finished.
Last time I checked lying under oath is called "perjury" and I seem to recall that it's considered to be a CRIME! If the committee doesn't indict Holder, then they are just as guilty as he is!
More gun control laws? Astonishing! Holder and Obama have never been stopped from breaking any law they preferred so far. They just think this country would be easier to take over if fewer people were armed. Elin was right. The whole purpose of F&F was gun control. It has been said, the reason Japan did not hit our California coast and push eastward at the same time they bombed Pearl Harbor was because they knew the Americans were armed. They would be fighting the greatest army on earth.
I agree with those that have already said that the Obama admin's continuation of the Bush-era idea for 'gunwalking' was for no other purpose than for it to cause trouble so it could THEN be used as a basis for stricter gun control regulations.
But we have to admit that the program started under Bush – or no one will take our arguments seriously. It was not run to the level that it has been under Holder and his NBPP friends, but it was started prior to Obumbler taking office. Their goal was 1) to use it to ramp up taking guns away from Americans, en masse (making private gun ownership illegal) or 2) tie it up around Bush's neck as something else to 'blame Bush' for if it failed. What they didn't count on, was it failing so spectacularly and blowing right back on Holder and eventually, Obama.
The core of Fast and Furious was Drug Prohibition. It stares you in the face, shouts and screams and some how you fail to notice.
You are correct in that a similar program was instituted under Bush, but the guns were tracked and arrests were made. They were intentionally not tracked in this case, and hundreds of Mexicans and two of our own enforcement officers died as a result.
I've always said that Obama doesn't want anything to happen to Holder because he's probably going to need him to oversee the voter fraud of the 2012 elections. It may be the only way Obama can win. These two are the Bonnie and Clyde of modern times.
This man needs a complete fashion make-over.
Put him under florescent lighting in a polyester jumpsuit with tennis shoes, accessorized with silver-tone manacles and a heavily armed contingent of uniformed escorts.
Now that would look good.
