Extreme tree hugging

Posted on April 6, 2011 by Bridget // Hillbuzz, Hillbuzz TV, Multimedia, The Left

I thought you could use a little lunchtime entertainment.  I had to watch this video a few times to make sure that these people were for real.  I mean…..I love trees and flowers and plants and all things nature but this is  over the top.  I hate to make fun of people but this is a little crazy.  I kept expecting the little men in white coats to show up.

Just a little something  to brighten your day.

Happy Wednesday!

The link doesn’t work, but here is the AP release:

(New York, NY) Fox News and Mercury Radio Arts, Glenn Beck’s production company, are proud to announce that they will work together to develop and produce a variety of television projects for air on the Fox News Channel as well as content for other platforms including Fox News’ digital properties. Glenn intends to transition off of his daily program, the third highest rated in all of cable news, later this year.

Roger Ailes, Charman and CEO of Fox News said, “Glenn Beck is a powerful communicator, a creative entrepreneur and a true success by anybody’s standards. I look forward to continuing to work with him.”

Glenn Beck said: “I truly believe that America owes a lot to Roger Ailes and Fox News. I cannot repay Roger for the lessons I’ve learned and will continue to learn from him and I look foward to starting this new phase of our partnership.”

Joe Cheatwood, SVP/Development at Fox News, will be joining Mercury Radio Arts effective April 24, 2011. Part of his role as EVP will be to manage the partnership and serve as a liasiaon with the Fox News Channel.

Roger Ailes said: “Joe is a good friend and one of the most talented and creative executives in the business. Over the past four years I have consistently valued his input and advice and that will not stop as we work with him in his new role.

“Glenn Beck” is consistently the third highest rated program on cable news. For the 27 months that “Glenn Beck” has aired on Fox News, the program has averaged more than 2.2 million total viewers and 563,000 viewers 25-54 years old, numbers normally associated with shows airing in primetime, not at 5pm. “Glenn Beck” ahs dominated all of its cable news competitors since launch.

They posted on the Blaze page then took it down, I was able to grab the screen before they removed it. Glenn Beck is the one who taught me to always grab a screen before I read it.

I don’t think it’s a parody. It is another reason I come to check out Hillbuzz every day. Always something interesting or funny or infuriating or touching.

I’m sure these ding dongs are a real party to be around. When I meet such fools I usually ask why their feet are not wrapped in ferns that died of old age instead of EVIL pleather. Also…Golly! What do these bird brains eat? Oh, the humanity to murder a vibrant, full of life grape!

That ugly young screaming Mimi…wow…I bet her dance card is full! Not!

Can you imagine being this lost and deceived in life as these folks? It’s sad.

Romans 1 talks about people like this:

For although they (humankind) knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.

    …

They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

    ***

People need something to worship. It’s God they are seeking for. But because they reject the God of the Bible, all that is left is to worship nature itself.

Exactly the comment I was going to post. A perfect example of “worshipping creation instead of the creator” for sure.
We are made to worship. Everyone worships something, without exception. Something is “ultimate” for you, even if you claim to not be religious.

What is disturbing to me about this video is that these people are most likely Obama supporters.

What an excellent question! How many of these boobs have had abortions or think it just jolly for women to have that “right”? It boggles the mind to try to figure these people out. Hopefully they will gain some wisdom as they mature….but some of them look pretty old already. You would think living 5 or 6 decades would impart some wisdom…Guess not always.

After 9/11, I remembered hearing one talk radio host said that he’s so filled with grieving that he cannot tolerate another grief filled event. Take the people who worship and mourn the loss of this tree. I mean, c’mon, how many trees and plants are going to die today? Are you going to make room to grieve for them as well? If you truly do that, you certainly have no time for things such as a “real life.” My advice for them is to save their grieving for things that are really precious. But, then again, they will respond that there is probably nothing more precious than these trees! And I would probably be placed in shock over that response!!

These people are lunatics. Where do think all the things we use, the houses we live in, come from? Do they not know that trees are a renewable resource? I’ve cut down a bunch of trees in my yard because they were dead or dying, and planted new ones in their place.

How do these people feel about ethanol? Are they okay with all that corn being murdered?

In Germany there was a sect (long before the Christians came) who worshipped trees as if they were gods.

If you do not know the story of the origin of the Christmas tree then you need to do some research.

My understanding is that the Christians had to get these people to chop down the trees to show that they were not gods.
