Event Planning 101: Try Not To Be So Transparently Racist
Carnegie Mellon’s student paper overheard an Obama event coordinator say this, at a Michelle “Proud of My Country For the First Time” Obama speaking engagement:
“Get me more white people, we need more white people.” To an Asian girl sitting in the back row, one coordinator said, “We’re moving you, sorry. It’s going to look so pretty, though.”
Getting to know them, getting to know ALL about them…come on, sing it with us…Getting to know them, getting to know ALL about them…
