On this page, we’ll collect the Strategy and Action Items we post, so you can reference them all in one place.
ACTION ITEMS:
* Use “No Postage Required” donation envelopes to send phone books to the DNC, AARP, and other bad organizations to cost them lots of money in postage.
* Write effective one-page letters of complaint in four clear paragraphs.
********
January 2010 – Making Senator Ben Nelson’s Life Hell:
January 2nd: Gather list of all his major donors
January 3rd: Complete list of all major donors with their addresses and contact information
January 4th: Write letters to Ben Nelson’s major donors asking them why they support his man, and telling them you will no longer support businesses that back Ben Nelson.
*******
Palin 2012 Strategy:
* Palin needs four campaign mascots with Alaskan theme: moose, bear, husky, eagle. Mascots should convey a policy message each (independence, strength, hardwork, natural resources). Think Olympics mascots and Shirt Tales cartoon.
* We must take the word “polarizing” away from the MSM so they cannot use it as code word anymore to attack women
* Palin supporters should make sure every nursing home, hospital and school library in Iowa has a copy of Going Rogue. As time passes and used copies of the book become available for little money on Amazon and in used book shops, start buying them up and taking them to Iowa. Visit nursing homes and leave the books for residents to read.
STRATEGY RESOURCES:
Here are Job Approval Ratings for past presidents since Truman, followed by Electoral College Maps:

1984 – Mondale vs. Reagan

1980 – Carter vs. Reagan

1976 – Carter vs. Ford

TROLL ALERT
October 26, 2008 at 4:00 am
I hope the map this time around looks like the “1988″ one!
October 28, 2008 at 8:35 am
Your 1996 map is incorrect. Bob Dole carried Oklahoma.

Hey Freedom 08 – I love how Obama-bipartisanship is bliss – unless Obama is removed from the equation – then it is “screwed up”
hypocrite
I will fight Hillary tooth and nail on how to run America, but at least we can ban together to stop a common threat to eliminate America altogether!

My money says Obama wins in a landslide!

TROLL ALERT again

The numbers of electoral votes shown on the maps for 1988, 1992, 1996, and 2000 are those that became effective only after the reapportionment that followed the 2000 census. Thus they are correct only on the map for 2004, though still applicable for this year.
Notice that in 2004 Bush picked up New Mexico and Iowa from 2000, but lost New Hampshire. The map says that would net him 8 more votes, but he in fact got 15 more votes because of reapportionment.
Even if Obama were to pick up four states — Iowa, Colorado, New Mexico, and Nevada — but lose Pennsylvania, it would be 281-257 McCain.
Thus we may know relatively early: if McCain gains the Keystone State and holds Florida and Ohio, I’ll be changing the channel to MSNBC so I can watch Keith Olbermann make television history by having an on-air stroke.

Its stunning how since the Democrat party started leaning left after the sixties how the map started turning Red…it was ALL blue before. The Democrat Party should go back to its Democratic roots and away from Socialism..the American ppl are telling U so!

whatwhatwhat………..If you are right, it will be Obama’s money but don’t worry, your money won’t be worth much anyway.

Where is 1944 and 1936?

So… not gonna publish the equivalent map for 2008? Talk about sore losers. That county map isn’t comparable and you know it.
February 3, 2009 at 2:28 pm
Not even with more than half a billion dollars, ACORN and media support and adoration Obama could not make a landslide.

Great site! You motivate while making me laugh! :) And I will be sending AARP several membership envelopes! :) BTW I sent off your link to all of my conservative friends. Love, loved your Super Bowl menu!

I agree that there are a lot of silent supporters for this site. I just began posting, myself. These maps are very interesting- you can visualize the effect of Californians leaving for Colorado, New Mexico and Oregon. Not to mention the Minnesotans moving to Arizona, or New Yorkers to Florida. Thank you for this compilation of the maps.

I noticed that Bill Clinton is the only president in a very long time to have a higher approval rating at the end of his term, than at the beginning.
Just how long, I don’t know, but I think Bill Clinton is the only president pictured above who had actually gained popularity by the end of his term as compared to when he started.

STRATEGY SUGGESTION:
For those creatures in Congress and the Senate who insist on following the Harry and Nancy party line and voting to pass that abomination they call “health care”, I recommend everyone send them U-Haul boxes. This would let them know in large numbers that we HATE this “health care” plan, it’s unworkable, expensive and idiotic. They can just count on losing their jobs if this travesty prevails.
I have sent emails to my erstwhile democratic senator, Patty Murray, from Washington state who is up for re-election, giving her the addresses of the local Washington DC U-Haul locations — I feel this is a courtesy so she can contact them ahead of all the rest of the liberal incumbents who are going to be booted out in November. (this woman hasn’t had an original thought since, let me see, NEVER!) She dutifully follows the democratic party line and votes, NOT as we sent her to Washington DC to do, but however the dems and the lobbyists tell her.
Anyway, I think it would be a good idea for everyone to FLOOD the Senate and House with packing boxes before this “health care” thing comes to a vote.

you almost have to take CA and NY to win.
It’s like the board game of risk. You can win by taking a very few countries.
I’m from Pa.I have the feeling in this very Democratic state it may actually go for anyone BUT Obama next time around.People are waking up.Unfortunately to a nightmare, but better late than never. There are some die hards who continue to make excuses for him and say he’s the greatest Pres we’ve ever had.
They live on planet “O”
