I saw this linked in this article about Joe Biden coming out on record saying he will be the VP on the 2012 ticket.
Biden’s apparently miffed that so many people have been talking about Hillary Clinton replacing him in 2012.
I’ve been telling you since 2008 that this was ridiculous, but more so now because there’s nothing HRC would gain by hopping on board this sinking ship. She’s expertly put herself on foreign travel in Asia and Europe through the November decimation of the Democrat Party. Sometime in 2011 or so, but maybe even before Christmas, she’ll leave the State Department to go write her next book…which will then lead to a big book tour in 2013 or so…all the while she’ll rebuild HillPAC and hit the lecture circuit, campaigning heavily for Democrats in 2014…moderate/conservative Jacksonian/Clinton Democrats.
She’s running for president…in 2016.
In the article above, Biden seems to think he’s going to run in 2016, but he’s delusional.
Even his teeth think so.

I want to ‘fess up to something, and thank Hillbuzz for correcting my thinking. A few days ago, someone here brought up the age factor for women running for the White House. (It was really focused on Mrs. Clinton, but the logic would be applied to any woman of a certain age who would seek the presidency.)
And then Hillbuzz came along and quashed that: Even if WE don’t allow age to factor into who we support for office, saying that it matters to the electorate only serves to reinforce the discrimination which bases itself on AGE.
Well, I was tempted to say Biden wouldn’t run in 2016 because of AGE. Not going to do that now. Because it doesn’t matter. Age doesn’t matter. Competence and convictions based in the American tradition are what matter.
I don’t care how old Biden would be in 2016 or 3016. His support of Barack Hussein Obama mmmm mmmm mmmm will keep me from supporting him for ANYTHING!
And, when it comes to Mrs. Clinton or anyone else, male or female, I will support the person based upon competence AND covictions rooted in the American tradition.

Hillary should secretly work to make Obama lose in 2012 if she wants to run in 2016. If Obama gets 8 years, there is no way a Dem wins in 2016.

Way back when, when I was talking to a friend of mine before we knew exactly who would be running in the Democratic primaries to eventually challenge John McCain, I said that I could support Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, and a couple of other candidates if they were to run. Joe Biden is gaffe prone, but I don’t think he is a complete idiot either. I thought of him being more of a hawk in international affairs, but now I don’t think that so much anymore. He’s still better than Øbama in that regard, though. Hillary! is better than any of the people who ran against her back in 2008. I conclude with reaffirming my belief that Joe Biden has a nice smile. Too bad he’s a drunk.
Yeah too bad! Hillary was my candidate in 2008 during the primaries but had she not been there, I might have considered Biden. There’s something almost lovable about his “foot in mouth disease”. He’s always struck me as a person of keen intellect who tries to hide it behind the “class clown” facade. And Biden drunk is better than Obama stone-cold, sober.
